The best looking one in my option! Perfect size and great to kayak on too. It inflates to a good stiffness and is slimmer and faster than my previous Red board. Only gripes are that the handles kept slipping off when I was doing some portage, the fin isn’t replaceable with a river fin, and the paddle doesn’t fit together very easily. But for the value, spot on!

I’ve recently upgraded to the Bluefin Rogue and chose it as a touring sup for overnight adventures.
It’s rigid, stable, handles well and is beautiful to look at, what more could you want? Light enough to carry to the water unaided. Great board.
This is a large, and excellent quality, paddle board that’s designed for touring. I knew that Blufin was a premium brand, so I was keen to see if this board matched my expectations. Here’s what I thought of it:

The first thing that struck me is what good quality the whole kit is. It is all made from durable and strong materials. This starts to matter more when you’re looking at touring some more challenging waters such as coastal and tidal rivers – you need something that will stay Rigid and stable – this board delivers that all day long.
I loved that the cargo area is big – you can get everything you need on board (and securely with the two detachable bungee cords) without feeling the need to compromise on space – there’s so much room that I am surprised they still managed to make it quite light – for the size, anyway!
Once set up and in the water, the stability impresses me – I am not an advanced paddle boarder, but this thing gives me confidence. It is very solid and safe, and I feel like I could tackle more than what I have previously with it. It is also smooth and pierces through waves as promised – my previous paddle board (albeit much cheaper) felt much less smooth – I certainly wouldn’t feel confident in long distances in it but this board, however, will broaden my ability to explore more which is a huge bonus.
The next thing I want to talk about is the paddle. Again, far superior to what I have used before. I love that it is height adjustable – I am 5’6 and struggled with previous paddles. I can now get a bespoke paddle that’s perfect for me. It feels incredibly comfortable, too.
I loved the enhanced safety measures that have been added for extra visibility and the ankle strap is included so you’re getting a complete package here.
Overall, my first impressions are that this is an excellent paddle board I will use all next summer. It is outstanding quality and a night and day difference between this and my previous board. I feel like I will be able to have the confidence to go further and challenge myself with this board. 100% recommended. Well worth the investment.
Its very well made and the material feels nice and thick. All the accessories you need are included and the paddles themselves are super simple to assemble. Absolutely everything you need is included and it all comes in a very handy backpack.
If you are considering giving this a go, just do it. You’ll have great fun and it’s a fantastic past time. You learn really fast and you’ll be up on the board in no time but make sure you never Bluefin alone.
The deck pad is large, easily covers the main area that you stand on, has a thin layer of padding and is scored to provide extra grip.
The hand pump easily inflates the board in under 2 minutes. There’s plenty of stretch to the ankle safety leash, the paddle is simple to set up and set to the desired height. I would prefer the measurements of the board not to be printed along the side of the board though.
Protection of the board whilst in transport and while you store it away has been really thought through, with plastic and foam sheets lining the board for transport and for when you store it rolled up; thick foam pads to cover the two small fins.
Jam packed starter kit that also includes a small dry bag, a waterproof phone case that easily fits my iPhone 13. Granted, it’s not the best quality case as the plastic that secures the case isn’t the most refined I have seen, but it still does the job.
Once inflated the detachable fin can simply be slid on, the paddle slotted together and you’re pretty much ready to go! Fully inflated to a suitable PSI, the paddle board feels sturdy and easily solid enough to take a full body weight etc. It’s also still very lightweight, and not too cumbersome for carrying under and arm down to the water.
It does take a little while to find your balance and get stable on the board. Personally, I found it was best to start off sitting down on it and paddling around like that, to get a feel for the buoyancy and general movement of the board. Then I progressed to kneeling and finally, after quite some time to be honest, standing. The quality of the paddle board is absolutely superb in my opinion. The material the board is made from is incredibly strong and sturdy and zero chance of ripping or anything. All seams on the board look to be tight and stable and unlikely to split.
All in all I’m incredibly happy with the paddle board. Comes with everything you need, and really is of a very high quality.
Now as a keen paddle boarder that has often struggled de o the impracticalities of taking our solid board away with us on the roof rack with the bikes, I was looking for a more practical solution and the Deep Sea Inflatable SUP board kit appeared to fit the bill nicely.
We opted for this Bluefin SUP “Rogue” board as I’d heard good things about Bluefin and this appeared to look like the ideal solution for our needs.
First of all, it’s very well packaged in its own branded box and on opening everything is bundled within its carrying bag. On inspection, everything needed to get started was present and accounted for so first impressions were very good. Even before inflating it’s clear it’s a quality bit of kit that is well made from the seams to the drop stitch material. We decided to inflate the board in the garden with the included floor pump, and leave it out overnight to check how well it held air. My son was excited at the prospect of a day on the water and was first up to check on the board and couldn’t wait to wake me at 6 am on a Sunday with the news! Once I’d come around, I was delighted as it was as well inflated as we had left it and I too was now looking forward to trying it out.
We decided that we’d accompany my wife while she was triathlon training, so we deflated and packed everything up before heading out that morning. Takes a few minutes and it’s unpacked again and ready to go again, which is a lot easier than messing around with the roof rack and strapping securely etc. I decided to head out first and I was a little tentative but confidence in the board soon grew and I was genuinely surprised at how solid and stable a quality inflatable board really is. The contact zone between feet and board provides a reassuring grip and feel and the thing motors along and glides across the water in such a positive fashion. It’s a real pleasure!
The high-quality carbon shafted extending paddle provides a powerful, responsive engagement with the water that makes for light work. Once the board had started to gain my trust, It was time for my son to join me on the board and again it coped admirably! He found it comfortable and liked the fact it was so solid and it gave him the confidence to stand up and attempt to keep his balance and even managed to take the paddle and propel me around with relative ease.
Just a great day out, made easier by our new Bluefin kit. No punctures, no air leaks and for once, no falling off for me although my son did take great pleasure in pushing me in! It’s obviously a considered purchase, but it’s a quality kit and I highly recommend it.
