Only downside, I had to charge it before I could wear it, but absolutely love it other than that.

There is nothing about this watch currently I dislike. Fits well, keeps good time and for its features which all work correctly, reasonably priced. First and if they are all like this not my last citizen watch.

One of several Citizen Eco-Drive watches now owned, and one with a full calendar and of a slightly larger number that are radio-controlled.

Radio-control removes the need to make the small adjustments to timing which, when uncorrected, can add to a few minutes and missed trains, late flight log-ins etc; the system makes micro-adjustments essentially on a daily basis. In any event, those that are not radio-controlled need so infrequent adjustment (other than for length of month, BST or GMT etc).

The white luminescent markings against the black face provide excellent contrast and make it easy to read in most lighting conditions in conjunction with similar luminescence on the hour and minute hands.

Extra facilities common to most Eco-Drives are a subsidiary 24-hour dial plus the chronometer (timing dials). There is also a power meter and a ‘Daylight-saving’ switch for BST/GMT when appropriate; theoretically, the change can be automatic but it is quick and easy to do so manually.

As usual, the manual is physically small in format and multi-lingual while also fully comprehensive; some may prefer to download the instructions from Citizen’s web site (it needs the movement number – E660 in this instance).
