Fantastic robust little radio with clear sound. Those mentioning “poor battery life” have, I suspect, left in standby mode rather than switching fully off as I’ve had no issues.
Great value as I’ve seen nothing else offering rechargeable battery in this price range.
The Azatom shower radio was delivered nexted day. Once received was already charged and ready to use, easy to set up and good sound. Being put to good use already. Would recommend to anyone as pleased with radio myself.

As mentioned in previous reviews, don’t leave it in standby as this will keep battery power for ages.
The DAB is great, the sound is good, the look of it is pleasing on the eye.
Overall a good buy.
Great to be able to leave it in the bathroom
I am really impressed with the range of DAB radio stations that it receives. The sound quality is very clear with the right amount of bass & treble. I am pleased with the ” hidden ” functions – the clock, signal strength, DAB frequency and alarm. I got this as a present for my 60th birthday and use it nearly every day in the shower, garage & garden and the battery life is very very good.

Very good shower radio. Does what it says on the tin.
I toyed with the idea of getting a pair of ceiling speakers with a Bluetooth receiver that I could wire in to the bathroom lighting. But after using a Bluetooth speaker for a couple of weeks following the failure of our previous bathroom radio, the faff of swapping the phone that’s connected to the Bluetooth put paid to the ‘modern’ solution…
This is a pretty decent bathroom / shower radio (haven’t used the Bluetooth). Sound quality is perfectly good for what it is – you’d probably want more bass if you were going to listen to music on it for hours on end, but for listening while you take a shower, it’s fine.
Battery life is also fine – it lasts us about three weeks on a charge with around 30 to 50 minutes use each day. Charging takes around 4 or 5 hours.
The thing that stops it getting five stars – and almost got it sent back, as the manual doesn’t mention this – is that it has a ‘stand-by’ mode.
Why would you want a stand-by mode on a portable radio? It’s not going to spring into life at the touch of a remote control button, it’s pointless. Worse than pointless, in fact – it goes into stand-by with a quick touch of the power button and leaving it in stand-by drains the battery in less than 24 hours.
Contacting the seller, I was told that the radio is not designed to be left in stand-by – so why have it? PITA waste of time. You have to hold the power button for two seconds to turn fully off and back on again.
Would be five stars if it weren’t for the stand-by.
Great sound light weight I use it for work 10 hour days and it still has plenty of charge only criticism is you can’t see if it charging but great buy really pleased
Nice radio, easy to tune and set up and sound quality is excellent for a little radio, use mine in the bathroom.
This is an ideal radio for using in the bathroom. It seems watertight in terms of condensation and splash. Sound is good. The battery lasts for a long time unless you leave it on standby which runs it down quickly. I only marked it down slightly because I find the small on/off button a bit fiddly to use.

More than happy with this radio. Sounds very good considering just one speaker. Plenty loud enough for a bathroom and a charge lasts for ages.
