Bought this to clip into a drying system for the bambu x1c AMS. The clips on these are rotated from center which means they do not fit, but with enough pressure you can squeeze them in and have them read straight, but not ideal.
These round hygrometers have the retaining clips at about 30deg off vertical (just an estimate to indicate, I didnt measure), and they slotted right into the 3d printed desiccant holder for my filament material changer. It come with a battery and is readable through the smokey-tinted plastic so the display has good contrast.
All the units read low on relative humidity but still within the 5% claimed
Temperature reading also seems to be OK probably reading high by not more than 1 deg
So if this is a representative batch, can’t complain about accuracy. Too early to say about battery life…
I have these in all rooms in small house, except bathroom. It is easy to monitor the temperature of each room
Yes, they are small but the dimensions are clearly shown, they come with batteries and seem to be accurate within their specification.
Bought these to check humidity levels in the house, due to using heating less. They work well and helped identify issue areas. I wouldn’t use them for specific data, I know it doesn’t measure the temp accurately, as I have other thermometers in my living room which measure the same, while these measure roughly 2 degrees C higher than the others.
For the money, these are good value. Yes, the four of them give readings inconsistent with each other (especially on humidity) but they are within spec (+/- 5% for humidity and +/- 1% for temperature if I remember correctly). The display is impossible to read unless you are directly face on to it but they do the job. I use them for outdoor workshop/storage places where I want to keep the humidity less than 70% in order to avoid mould forming on things stored there. For the price I paid, I consider them a good buy.
