The item looks good
This binocular camera arrived quickly and well packaged.
I bought this as I am an avid bird watcher but never seem to be able to get good close up photos using normal cameras.
These binoculars allow me to zoom right in and i can get a photo at the same time! They are really sturdy and feel high quality.
They come with an 8GB memory card which is more than enough space to store plenty of photos.
I think the picture quality of the camera is excellent with various picture formats similar to other digital cameras. The zoom feature is great as long as you are centered on your subject with the binoculars as other reviews mention.
Overall it is a bit pricy but if like me you love watching those exquisite creatures and wish you could capture the moment properly then these are well worth the money.
These digital binoculars are great for zooming in on the subject that you want to view. It have x 10 magnification which is great for looking at things in more detail. The camera has great picture quality and the focus is easy to adjust. You can capture both photos and videos with this device. The binoculars can be charged using usb which is pretty quick. Also, the binoculars and light weight and easy to use.
Nice binoculars with a built in digital screen. The binoculars itself are great but the screen quality isn’t. It come with an 8gb micro sd memory card and a USB cable.
Great thank you.
I ordered these to watch the birds that sing from the trees around our home. Loved the idea of a set of binoculars that also operate as a mega-zoom digital camera. There were a few issues I had with them however, starting with the very basic instruction booklet. It is not very comprehensive at all, and doesn’t go into detail about the features or operation. For instance, it took me forever to figure out how to open the camera screen. It closes VERY tightly, and I even broke a nail trying to open it. However, due to how tight it was I assumed there must be a button and didn’t want to force it open out of fear of breaking it.
You do have to force it though, and the power button is underneath the viewer.
Another issue I had is that the quality of the image you produce is not as good as the quality it looks like on the viewfinder. It was crisp and clear on the viewfinder, but slightly blurred when downloaded. Perhaps, that is my error…and I simply have not worked with it enough to get the correct setting. If I manage to get better images I will definitely be back here to update this review!
The video is a tree in my neighbors yard, and the gravel shows the red berry that dropped from that tree across the street (taken from my upstairs inside my house). So, it does have excellent zoom capability.
It does charge quickly, and the battery has a nice long life.
So overall, great idea but it has a few issues that needs to be taken care of, starting with a more detailed instruction booklet. I love parts of it, and hope that I will eventually figure out the perfect setting to get great images. But it did begin with utter frustration, trying to figure it all out.
Wow these are pretty wow & sturdy, they came with a 8GB memory card, the picture quality of the camera is excellent with several picture formats as any digital camera takes, the zoom feature is good yet you have to make sure you are centered on your subject with the binoculars or your picture will be either too high, left or right because of the parallax difference, if bird watching this device is excellent for the closeup interaction!
This is my first pair of digital binoculars though I have a number of decent ‘standard’ binoculars, and attachments that I have used to digitally capture images through them. The advantage with this set is that no other equipment is required, other than a computer or screen if you want to view recordings elsewhere. The binoculars themselves are fairly compact and lightweight, mainly being plastic-bodied. They’re fairly simple to use, and the binoculars themselves are not electronic so they work like any others and do not require power.
The built-in rechargeable battery is used to power the camera and screen, as well as their system. The camera points forward from between the binocular lenses (see photo), and so what you record is not exactly what you see; it is merely an approximation based on what you’re pointing at. I find that when I carefully frame the image to capture video or photos the recordings are noticeably offset, so at best they are only really useful as an idea of what you were watching. In effect these are binoculars with a digital camera attached rather than digital-image binoculars.
These binoculars are a useful tool so long as you accept their limitations, and so long as you’re not expecting crystal-clear images. It’s good to see that there is a standard screw fitting for tripods underneath which allows them to be mounted for a steady image, and I like that a basic memory card is pre-installed even if it is only 8gb. For most purposes I’ll be using my regular binoculars for better quality, but these will be handy for those times when I want to make a record of what I’ve been looking at.
These are a nice set of binoculars with a digital screen for catching photo’s and video’s, it comes with a standard no brand 8gig micro SD card. These are made quite cheap but works ok not great and the price for me 89 is a little expensive in my honest opinion hence the 4 stars.
