Chrome might not be practical for buttons but it sure is pretty. These buttons are extremely high quality and basically feel OEM to me. The fit is great and the smooth finish feels familiar for the face buttons. The only buttons that feel slightly different from OEM are the: Start, d-pad, L+R. I was initially concerned about the smooth L+R (the OEM triggers have a slight texture to them because of the plastic used) but in actual play, it doesn’t feel that different due to how your fingers naturally wrap around them. The start button also looks slightly shorter but that may be due to how light and reflections wrap around the chrome.
The button membranes require more force to press than OEM but I actually like it as it makes my inputs feel more precise. A potential downside with this is that it makes the buttons noisier to press on an already loud controller—at least compared to modern offerings. This makes Smash Bros sessions sound even more intense. I’m using my OEM trigger springs and haven’t tried the ones that come in this pack.
Overall, I’m extremely happy with the look and feel of this set and will definitely recommend it for anyone that wants to make a statement (and is not bothered by having to wipe off finger prints). You will ride eternal, shiny and chrome!
I seen people complain about the joysticks. They work perfectly fine for me the mold might have been slightly misaligned but it works.
The buttons themselves need a little work. The tabs from the mold were in the way on my start button, i just cut that tab off. U can obviously tell these are white then painted.
If i dont edit this review assume they didnt wear out.
Personally i just used the rubber pads that my original controler used so i cant say about the ones they provide.
It did come with extra screws which i appreciate. It came with new springs for the triggers as well
Cons are that there is a metal square ull have to steal from ur original for the triggers.
The metal tab for the Z button falls out easily. But not an issue after its assembled.
All being said very happy with them
The buttons look great, it controls nicely, the only thing that wasn’t included was a tiny piece of paper to do the thing. Also I did have problems with the D-pad but after some surface wiping, it’s working ok.
The buttons look good and they also feel nice. They fit the controller pretty well and press pretty well. The sticks are ok, and they’ll work for anything except for Melee
I like the colors and the feel of the buttons, but not the joystick. I’m writing this review 15 minutes after opening and installing it in my controller and my Left trigger is defective. Please contact

This product is absolutely fantastic it comes with just about everything you will need to customize your GameCube controller. The matte finish on the buttons and triggers are very nice. I would like to recommend that they do put the trigger adapters that connect the trigger to the spring plate in their packaging, but besides that this product is very good.
