It’s good quality, easy to assemble, lightweight, easy to carry, and came with a big bag.
Easy to install, just pops up into its final form; and then requires some tent pegs to keep it in place. I have to say it can withstand some pretty hefty shots. It’s very durable and well made and stays in place even when an adult shoots and manages to score. Is not too big and will not consume garden space is excellent for practising precision shots as you having got much to shoot at. Is easy to store as it folds down easily into a flat circle at which point you can put it back into the bag. Highly recommended.
Our son was so excited to receive it and took no time in testing it out.
Love the “pop up” design plus the easy accessibility to carry it around like a backpack which seems to have been well thought out.
It was very easy to set up using the poles and still feels very sturdy once up.
Our son loves it and is looking forward to using it more as the weather improves.
Good quality, sturdy enough and good price. Very useful for my son’s football training. Thanks
My five year old grandson is starting to develop a keen interest in football, and whilst he has yet to select a team to support he enjoys a kick around in the back garden as well as the local park. Honing his developing skills is assisted by this Ezmove Mini Pop Up Football Goal offered for review under the Amazon Vine programme. It isn’t just a conventional goal, although it is capable of being that as it gives an additional target practice screen featuring five shooting holes that either lies flat on the ground when the goal is in conventional use or pops up to attach to the goal frame, offering points from 100 to 500 depending on difficulty of ball placement.
The goal is very lightweight at just 1kg and folds up ingeniously into a provided circular carry case with integrated handle for ease of transport and storage. You simply unzip and throw the goal for it to adopt the correct shape. It comes complete with four U-shaped metal pegs to securely fasten the goal to the ground, and a couple of fibreglass supports to give the goal greater stiffness. I think it is a really clever design that makes the best of the function required. The goal size is 8ocm x 80cm x 120cm so ideal for playing five-a-side football or setting up in a back garden where available space is at a premium. The frame material is tough black polyester described as ‘Oxford cloth’ which certainly gives the impression of being built with longevity in mind and appear very durable, which given the punishment youngsters can mete out is a bonus. Also durable in appearance is the netting, which imitates a full-sized football goal and is manufactured from Dacron, a synthetic polyester textile fibre known for very high tear-resistance and abrasion resistance, and ideal for the use it is being put to here.
Given that kids are a core target market there are no sharp edges here to catch themselves on. The goal folds back into the carry case with relative ease too, making it quick to put away for another day, although it does take a little practice — don’t force it as you may damage the goal, but you are simply trying to refold into a circle twice round. This is potentially a little bit too much for a younger child who may require grown-up help, and almost certainly a demonstration or two to get the putting away operation correct. At a current discounted price of 35.95 I think this offers value for money for a football mad child, and gives every appearance that it is going to have a long life regardless that it is likely to get a lot of use — something the weary parents are pleased about because it tires the grandson out and makes getting him off to bed that much easier. A five year old is well pleased with his new toy and is enjoying using it with siblings and friends alike.
Great addition to the garden the kids are very excited about it, easy set up and just the right size for where we wanted it to go. Perfec
Good fun, springs open easily and folds easily back into bag, great fun.
This is very easy to carry away is folded and can be easily fixed to play . The quality is made from good product it looks that it last forever, lots are having a lot off fun with it !
This football goal is lightweight and portable, and easy to set up. It works like a pop up tent, and also folds back down easily- although there is a bit of a knack to it. It measures 80 * 120 * 80cm so it is probably best for younger children. We particularly like the goal aim side and we play games using it. Well made and sturdier than I thought it would be.
This is relatively easy to set up, and certainly worth the effort considering the enjoyment my grandsons get form it. It’s not overly large, which is ideal in the small garden, and fine for just the two players. It offers two options, an open goal, or a divided goal with specific targets to aim for, simply flip it over to choose.
Very lightweight and portable goal. Pops up in seconds but is a pain to fold back up again (maybe it’s just me). Good quality materials so should take a good few shots at it without getting too worn.
This pop up goal comes with a few extra features to make sure it is very sturdy. It is double sided so there is a normal net on one side and a shooting target on the other.
The whole thing folds up into a circle case, just like a pop up tent, that is very easy to store away. When removed from the case it pops up into the rectangular goal and there are tension straps along the back that you can slide poles into to make it stand up.
The material is nice and thick so should withstand some decent ball kicks. It also comes with tent pegs to make the goal stay put if on grass.
IT is good quality and a decent size but for a pop up kids item it is far too expensive compared to similar items on the market.
First Impressions were that this is very compact and certainly easily transported. Take out of the bag and the goal immediately springs open. The frame is a steel wire, about 15 mm wide, covered in oxford cloth. Feels like plastic but much more durable. We then tried to put it back into the bag. Here the instructions were not very clear or helpful. WARNING — when trying to fold it back into a double circle, to fit the bag, do not force it. This could put a bend or kink in the frame which will then not open and stand properly again. There is a knack to it and when you twist it correctly it will fold in on itself quite easily and pack away neatly in the bag. The support poles that came with it go inside the connected straps to provide additional stability and rigidity. This is not immediately obvious from the instructions.
I gave it to a 3 and 5 yr old to test. They immediately went for the goalkeeper side with the numbered holes. They were using a full sized football and I was impressed with how well it bore the onslaught. Oxford cloth is durable. The ground pins included are necessary to stop the goal moving and work well in grass. First test was on astroturf so we put the base against a fence and this worked well to stop it moving backwards and even sideways. It functions without the pins but will need some support to stay in one place.
The football goal side is just the right size for small users and the netting also performed well. We didn’t try it for cricket practice; I suppose you could use it for this but that does seem a bit of a stretch.
Overall I think this is a nice piece of kit but a bit pricey with awful instructions. That said, once you figure it out it is a breeze to put up and down. It is surprisingly rugged, the support straps and poles are a nice feature, along with the ground pins, so overall it is well thought out. The frame and the oxford cloth are, indeed, durable — it’s been up for a week now, used daily, and has taken everything kicked at it. If you are happy with the price it should last you for a reasonable time.
I only gave this four stars because the poor instructions meant there was a risk it could be damaged if not folded correctly.
This isn’t my first pop up goal and unfortunately from a transport point of view this one is bigger. On the upside it is also easier to assemble and cons with the inside section to aid with practice.
Good decent goal.
Easy enough to set up. Great in the garden. Love it.
Ezmove football goal net arrived boxed, folded in the storage bag.
It is flat, light and doesn’t take much space, so very portable.
This mini pop up football net was easy and fast to set up.
The measurements are exactly as per listing description.
It was fine even during light wind as I secure it to the ground using metal stakes provided.
Very versatile double sided net, could be used for different games.
Excellent gift idea.
Well made, should last for some time if well looked after.
Great idea, well executed, lots of fun for kids, so I would happily recommend it, a bit pricey though.
This is a light, portable goal which you just take out the bag and it pops up. You do get some poles which fit in the back for added stability. Because it’s so light, you do need to use the supplied u-pegs to secure it to the ground, which helps in light winds but I doubt would hold in stronger winds. Folding the goal up and putting back into its carry bag is not the easiest task, although instructions are provided we still struggled somewhat to get the hang of it.
This is great, really easy to put together and stands proudly. Great fun for my son. We will put away and keep nice for summer. Really happy.
ezmove Mini Pop Up Football Goal.
Small lightweight and compact its an easy to use/set up Dual goal can be an open goal or target goal with just one easy flip (providing you haven’t pegged it down) .
Goal will definitely suit younger children and i wouldn’t advise using a leather style ball as over time it will wreck your goal.
Overall size 80 x 120 x 80cm
The thing I like most about this is the well thought out design. As the carry bag has a pull out net ball holder and it also has straps so you can carry like a backpack.
It’s easy to pop up and set up as you just have to install the poles and you can stake it to the ground. It has two sides the open net or the “target” side. It takes a few tries to learn how to fold it back up but once you get the hang of it it’s easy enough.
The only downside is it’s quite expensive at almost 40 but it would make a nice gift.
The ezmove Football Goal doesn’t feel as light as I imagined at 1KG, but it folds down well and the provided bag makes it easy to carry. They also added a pouch to the side of the bag to carry ball, which is a nice touch. The box actually advertises the goal as a 3-in-1 (goal, targets and stumps), but the stumps option is a bit of a reach, just using the side panels.
Opening it up is a just as matter of releasing the restraining strap and throwing it down allowing it to pop up. The side panels are secured at a couple of points with Velcro and you’re good to go. To switch between the goal and the targets, you just flip the goal over. Build quality is good throughout, with no defects and solid materials.
If you’re familiar with pop up tents or beach shelters, you’ll be familiar with how you fold the goal back up after use. There are instructions provided but I would recommend you watch some online videos if you’re not sure as there’s a knack to it, there’s even a video to help on the listings page.
The goal is small enough to use indoors if you have the room, but it’s portability is why you would look to purchase and where its strength lies.
It’s the perfect little kit to have in the back garden or to carry to the park if your kids enjoyed football.
It is very easy to assemble very light and when put in a carry bag it will be easy to transport. As well as very easy to disable similar to pop-up tents.
In the back, you have two poles which are put in to increase the stability of the net. As well you get 4 ground pegs to put in so the net would be in place. We tried it park and even with the wind, it was standing sturdy and without any issues. You can use this as a simple football net or as a target practice. Which can be fun if there are more kids. So they can play with it longer and see who can score more points. Plus it will train their technique
Overall good football net fo kids. Its good quality and stands sturdy in the park even with the wind.
A great football goal with targets to teach skill and precision. It comes folded down in a carry case and pops open ready for use. There are two fibre optic poles included for extra stability, these are fed through the straps on the back and also some pegs. The case has a net to make it easier to carry a football as well.
The instructions are stuck to the box which isn’t helpful, good down items can be tricky to get used to, it would be better if they were included in the plastic sleeve on the case. They also are not very clear about where the poles go (the straps at the back), there are tutorial videos online, but in the absence of signal or a trial run the included instructions could be improved.
The listing also needs to be updated to list girls, it isn’t only boys who play football.
ezmove Football Goal Mini Pop Up Football Net Goals for Kids Garden Training Equipment Boys Gifts, 80 * 120 * 80cm.
This comes well presented in its own branded box so would be suitable to give as a gift to the right child.
It comes in its own zipper storage bag which makes it very portable and easy to take out with you to the park or beach, its the pop up style…. I did find it awkward tho to fold back down, easyvto pop up but not so easy to fold back down but once i get the hang of it more im sure i will it easier.
Its made of a durable material, it has a Reinforced edging and seems very tough.
Theres 4 nail type things to secure it to the ground.
Its exactly the same as the description describes, no issues as of yet.
Our 10 year old grandson likes to play footy with his mates and he thinks this is really good fun.
I can reccomend.
Price is average and quality is very good, far from flimsy!
This pop up football goal comes well packed. It’s very easy to assemble with clear instructions. We put it together without even looking at the manual. It is easy to put down too.
It even comes with its own little bag to keep all the pieces in, including a separate net bag for the ball.
The goal is lightweight but feels very robust and sturdy. The net looks well made and high quality. Ideal for a small garden for young boys.
It doesn’t take up a lot of space, you can even set it up in the living room during the rainy days. My sons have had tons of fun playing ball with it in the garden since we got this.
Overall, the quality of the product paired with the overall usefulness makes the price tag a fair one.
This goal is super fun to play with and great as a gift idea for kids who love football. It is also a great party game, who can get the most points for example. It is really easy to set up and play with, it becomes really sturdy when everything is in place. You just throw it and it pops up and you’re pretty much done. I recommend it but a little expensive compared to others I have seen.
This pop-up goal is smaller and lighter than I anticipated, but encourages exercise and is fine for my eight year old grandson.
It comes in a zipped storage bag, into which it can be folded after use.
The goal pops-up easily, but can only be used on soft surfaces as it need to be fixed to the ground using the supplied U-shaped spikes. It is also wise to fix the two bracing sticks to stabilise the structure and keep the front vertical.
There are no sharp edges, so there’s no problem if a child should run into, or fall, on it.
Nets at the back catch the balls, and the front “target” can be removed to make an open goal.
Price is probably about right.
This football goal can be used either as an open goal or for shooting practice with scoring.
It is easy to put together with fibre-glass poles that slot together like most tent poles. It come with fixings that can be pushed or hammered into the ground to hold the goal in place.
It can be quickly folded down and packed away in the carry bag that is supplied so it is easily transported and taken to a park or beach. The kids love it.
This folding football goal is really well made, it opens and closes in seconds.
Thanks to the case with zip closure, the shoulder strap and the low weight, it can be carried around without any problems.
Once closed it easily finds space, because it is very thin and therefore easy to withdraw, to put in the car or to keep behind a door.
Perfect for playing around the house, in the garden or even for taking on trips or to the park.
Inside the package they are equipped with pegs to be inserted into the ground.
Made with excellent materials, resistant, easy to clean and of excellent quality, becoming the perfect gift idea for children and adults who love football.
This football net is really sturdy, light weight and easily folds up for ease of transporting, it’s not too light weight that a breeze will blow it alway, there’s holes for target practice
This is a decent fold up portable goal ideal for my sons aged 8 & 6. I set it up for them and found it easy. It’s a sturdy frame and all the components are quality, even down to the ground stakes being heavy duty, not flimsy metal. Which essentially means that this goal is really utilisable as I don’t have to worry about them being too rough with it.
Once done with, it collapses town to a manageable size which means it can be stored in the shed on the wall without taking up loads of room. The bag it comes with is very durable too which shows the manufacturers commitment to quality.
It stands up really well in use. It has the two options of using the net or using the goalie obstruction material. This material is durable and tough. It’s really securely sewn in, so the ball can be booted at it over and over and I’m confident it will be fine. It has to go against the ground when using the net option but due to its thickness it is very durable.
The frame components are all heavy duty. The poles are thick and durable and the two L shaped corner joists are very strongly constructed.
I’m very impressed with the quality of this and I’m confident it will last years of use. I feel it justifies its high asking price.
Right from the get-go, let’s just get the elephant out of the room. The instructions are useless, best thing to do is to just work it out, it’ll be a lot quicker and less painful.
Once up, it’s a nice little practice goal, but I would say it more for the little ones, as the bigger ones will either brake it or be annoyed at the size.
It is a good practice goal, and the material is well made, but improvements can be made
At the time of purchase this was priced quite high at 59.99. It has since been reduced and I think the new price is reflective of the product. It is very easy to assemble, you put the rods together much like a tent, they are very good quality and sturdy. Once the structure is built which doesn’t take long at all, you can secure it to the soft ground using the U shaped pegs. My boys are 4 & 6, so this really is the perfect size for them. 80cm high and 120cm in length. They will soon outgrow this though at this size, but it is great for playing and learning some goal scoring skills as they make a start in footballing. I have a very small garden so having the bag to fold the goal into and carry to the park is a huge plus! It only weighs 1kg, easily transportable. We can sling it in the car and take it to friends gardens also. The design is great, having the option to turn the goal over and have the target practice. The boys love it and have hours of fun playing. I hope it’ll be robust enough to last a couple of years, the quality suggests it will be. Very happy with this and would recommend.
The “Portable Football Goal With Training Target” from “EzMove” is a two-in-one kids’ football goal that offers both a small portable goal, as well as a training session target.
Setting the goal up for the first time is a doddle. It’s fairly self-explanatory how this is done, however, there are instructions clearly showing you how to do this as well.
The goal has been specifically designed to be portable, so you can easily take it down to the beach or along to the park or whatever.
Putting the goal together took me around two-minutes from start to finish. Doing the set up was relatively easy and frustration free.
The goal is very lightweight so needs securing down to the ground whenever you use it. It could also get damaged should an adult accidentally fall onto it in the throes of a kids v adults game!
The target practice side of the goal is excellent. The five target holes are all of a good size for kids to have a good go with practicing their shots with. There’s also scores for the five targets — the highest scores being for the top corners.
The goal isn’t very big. It’s roughly 1.2m wide and 0.8m tall. This is easily adequate for a young child. For a child of around 10 — 13 years old, this may be a tad too small. For a 4 — 10 years, this is probably spot on.
All in all, I’ve been very happy with the goal. The quality of the portable goal is excellent. It’s very lightweight and thus very portable. It’s also very easy to set up and take down — so perfect for taking away on camping trips or the like.
So the nephew is well into his football goes to some academy and all sorts, so, as you can imagine when I got these posts for him he absolutely flipped!
Obviously coming in pieces it was a breeze to set up (instructions are provided on the listing) but, once it was built, it did look a bit on the small side. The badly photoshopped pictures in the listing do make it look bigger, but dimensions are available so you are forewarned.
Anyway, once up the goal post can be flipped to be used as a more traditional goal post and net or to be used for practicing penalties or more accurate striking, which is a very, very nice touch.
The whole thing is very lightweight and can be folded down quickly (after some initial effort) and placed into the storage bag supplied for transporting and set up elsewhere.
This is good.
Having football mad grandchildren is great, but at times they lose interest, so having something that they can use to practice their shooting skills, build their score and have bragging rights between their siblings.
Inside the box you get a carry case, the net that is in 2 sections joined together (a standard goal and a target/points section), plus the poles and pegs to anchor this to the ground. Putting together was relatively easy, and certainly 1 of the sections was very easy. Getting the last pole to connect was quite difficult to get the last piece to click into place (although that was probably me not doing it right). The good thing is that once it is connected, you can fold it over and it stores great in the carry case for the next time you want to use it, hence the “pop up” name).
This is a great set of goals to use in the garden, or out and about. As it folds flat you can keep it on the boot floor of the car for when you go on a picnic to give the kids something to do. It is also very light and easy to carry about in the carry case although smaller children will struggle as the case is quite large, like a big tortilla chip (but flat).
A great item. Could possibly be a little bigger, as its quite small (aimed at kids) and as an adult you kind of stand like a giant in it (so no goals past me) but if it was bigger then it wouldn’t be as portable. Recommended to keep the kids entertained.
We have had several goals of this type over the last few years. They all suffered with either joints rusting loose or poles snapping. I don’t think that this will be a problem with this one.
The goal is made up of two ‘loops’ of plastic held together with elastic poles. (the type of thing you get in tents). These poles are lightweight but appear to have some significant strength to them. To hold these two loops together there are two bent tubes, which you slide the poles in to. Prior to sliding the poles into these tubes you need to slide them in to the net holder in the little pouch that has been sewn into the edge for this purpose.
The instructions on the outside of the box don’t quite marry up with the components within the box, certainly the holder bag (I received) is almost the same size as the goal. This isn’t a major problem for me as it /will/ keep the goal flat, and we have places we can store flat things. However, if your only storage is a small area this might be a consideration (please see the pictures for the large orange bag).
When constructed the goal held up well, I didn’t use the pegs as the ground was frozen solid at the time, but they are of a sturdy construction and would be usable under normal circumstances.
The holes in the target practice sheet are just about large enough to allow a smaller football through.
Either for practice in the back garden, or for taking away for fun at a park or the beach, this is a good little goal.
This is quite a small goal but perfect for young children. Older ones can use it for target practice, whether with friends or on their own. It’s said to be pop-up but in fact it folds. It’s erected in a similar way to a small tent, so is quite easy but not as quick as I’d expect from “pop-up”. Still, it only takes five minutes.
Folding it after use is straightforward too, and then it’s easily stored indoors for protection from the elements. We have a couple of bigger goals (the ones with tubular white plastic frames). They don’t much like being left outside all year; the frames become brittle and fragile while the nets go green with algae. So it’s good to be able to store this on inside.
And, of course, because it folds, it’s easily taken to the park or beach. Perhaps put it in a suitcase and take it on holiday? Haha.
The instructions that come with it are poor, so refer to the ones in the listing, including the video. They make it much easier, although actually it’s fairly intuitive anyway, especially if you’ve dealt with a modern tent.
Being able to choose between a target and open goal doubles the fun. It’s fairly sturdy but I wouldn’t use a heavy football with it. A lightweight plastic one would be more suitable.
Overall, I’m pleased with this and it’ll be well-used. That price though — 47.69 after 10% voucher. It really needs to come down below 40 to make it competitive, but that’s the only reason I’ve deducted a star.
Ability to switch from open goal to a target makes this a winner versus simple goals. It’s a well made product for younger children but might suffer if used by older ones with full-size/weight footballs.
Ability to fold for transport and storage is a big benefit over many goals, not that it’s without competitors. They say it’s pop-up but I’d say folding. It’s erected in a similar way to a small tent, so is quite easy to deal with but not as quick as “pop-up” suggests. Still, it only takes five minutes.
The instructions in the listing are quite good, in contrast to those with the product. Not that erecting and folding it are difficult. You could probably read through the instructions in the listing and then follow them without further reference to them.
Quality product it may be but, at almost 50, it seems uncompetitive vs. similar goals. I also feel “pop-up” in the description is misleading. Pop-up implies it springs into shape in seconds. It doesn’t. I don’t particularly mind that it doesn’t pop up but it’s annoying that the description suggest it does. So, just four stars, but it’s a good buy goal if they price it attractively
The instructions were not the best but I deciphered them and got it all set up in around 20 mins.
I did think this would be a bit bigger but it does function really well and will keep the (smaller) kids happy for hours on end.
Overall very pleased with it the quality appears good but time will tell on that.
