I have a Linux Mint operating system installed on my Lenovo IdeaPad 1 laptop. It runs alongside Windows 11. It was upgraded to 12 gigabytes of RAM with a Timetec 8-gigabyte DDR4-2400MHz PC4-19200.
As seen in the picture, next to the Timetec 8 GB of RAM is the Fanxiang, which is a 512 GB NVMe SSD with the Linux Mint 21.1 OS Cinnamon installed.
Yes not as fast as other brands, but, M.2 drives are quite funny, you can use software to find the fasted one, but on daily use in PC with windows you can’t really see the difference, this is a cheap M.2 drive TWB is a little low but in all well Worth the cost, they do a 2TB drive as well, it work a treat too and faste
So wasnt sure with an “off” brand and I threw it (“fanxiang S501 512GB NVMe SSD M.2 2280 PCIe Gen3 x 4”) at a very old system, (HP ProDesk 600 G2 SFF) and wow it worked perfectly! cant speak for endurance obviously but benchmarks are off the chart compared to old SATA SSD. Plugged it it and just plain worked. On about 48hrs with 0 issues. So far so good!
Although my items were sitting in the wide open which I did not like I will say that the product matches the description and it was a fast delivery

This one boots up to windows way faster than the older ssd I had. From 4-5 minutes to 10 seconds after I turn on my pc
I brought 3 of the 2TB versions to use on my home servers, which runs media server and developer tools etc.. They’ve been running now 24/7 for about 2 months, with no sign off issues.
Normally I always went for the safe option, such as Samsung or WD, but the fact is, NAND prices have dropped massively over the past 2-3 years, yet those brands have not dropped inline with the rest of the industry… So they’re effectively ripping off customers who know no better.

Arrived quickly, and nice touch that it included the screw driver. For my machine (Dell Inspiron 5402) the screw did not fit, I had to find another one. I probably should have also ordered a proper shield and mount. However, the drive fit the slot fine, and the Dell detected it. All I had to do was configure and format the volume with Windows and I had a 1TB D drive on my notebook. Remember, you don’t get a full 1,000 GB, you get about 950 but that’s a formatting OS thing not the drive.

Upgrading 12 year old pc to windows 11 and can even run warzone 2 smoothly with no dedicated gpu. Did wonders for my pc!!!!!
