Ordered this after Christmas as a late gift and it arrived a lot sooner than expected.
hubby loves it. We’ve bought alternative wrist straps for it but otherwise we’re very happy. Have been able to add a picture of me and his son to the Fitbit watch face which we think is great. All other options are Fitbit are great – he’s still learning what’s available.
We keep getting an error of ‘clock error’ on the watch and it removes the picture – unsure if this is a faul
Ive had a fair few smart watches over the last year or so.. versa 2, galaxy watch 4, apple watch se and now this and can honestly say i prefer this one over the rest. In fairness galaxy watch and apple watch have more selection on faces but this still has a really decent selection. Its easy to understand unlike the apple watch when it comes to fitness tracking as it just gives you the info you want. The battery is unbelievable as from fully charged i have worn it every day for around 9 to 10 hours including using st the gym, getting notifications and using it to accept calls and it is now a full week later and the battery is still on 40% considering the apple watch and galaxy watch had to be charged every single day this is amazing. You can actually track sleep and still carry ob wearing the watch aswel, its alot lighter weight and smaller than the galaxy/apple watches too. You can receive whatsapp notifications and read them and talk on the phone with it too. Overall after a year of searching for the perfect smart watch this one is easily the perfect one for me. And at 150 it is a steal!
It’s taken a bit of getting used to as it is different to my old one I’ve had for years.
I wish it connected to Google fit like my old one did rather than have to use a new app, but aside from that it has great functionality.
I think the only gripe from me is that it doesn’t always update/sync correctly to connected health apps I am using and therefore i am comparing unfavorably to my old watch as I never had that issue with that.. unfortunately my old one is no longer able to be used so I’m going to have to live with that.
The sleep apps and all that feel more accurate and are detailed but I just wish the linked apps talked to each other better.
And what’s with needing to pay 100 a year for “premium” that’s a rip off right there.
I bought this to assist with my cardio rehab. It records heart rate accurately and I have checked the readings against several other heart rate devices, including clinical ones. The app stores a lot of my key data including steps and when I exercise. The app links to the UK My mHealth app that my cardio rehab team use to monitor my progress, and that’s super helpful.
I don’t find the wrist band provided at all uncomfortable and the range of downloadable watch faces is wide enough for me to have found one I really like.
I pop the watch on charge when I shower once a week and that has meant I’ve never dropped below 50% charge. It lasts for days and I’ve never had an issue with it discharging.
I love the watch and its data collection links to my NHS app so I am a real fan.
I’ve had my Versa 2 for a while. I’ve updated to the versa 4. I’m very pleased with it. Def recommend it. It’s stays charged for days and I’m loving the sports strap. Very comfy to wear. .
Bought this version without GPS as it promises 5 days battery and it doesnt fail. In fact, I can get up to a week of life between charges, which is great when heading off for long weekends or holidays. All the usual fitbit features, very happy with service from seller.
My much loved Versa 2 finally became unusable after three and a half years. I have replaced it with a Versa 4. This does most of the jobs my Versa 2 did with the added convenience of its own GPS. However, I have found that the GPS can lose its connection during a country walk not far from home. (Edit 17th Nov 2023 – I find that the inbuilt GPS is useless on my regular country walks near home. We are talking about fields near to housing estates, so not ‘out in the sticks’. I can’t understand why as Pacer and Strava apps have no problem logging the whole of my walks in the same area. As the built in GPS was one of the reasons I chose the Versa 4 over the 3 that my husband has I am not best pleased. I have not found any means of disabling the built in GPS and reverting to connecting with the one on my iPhone that I used with my Versa 2. This is the most disappointing aspect of the watch.) Battery life seems good, although, I tend to recharge every 3 or 4 days. I do make use of a lot of the features – mainly on the phone app so I would not expect the battery to last 6 days. I do not use the premium facility. The range of clock faces is good and I found one that I like just as much as the one I used on my Versa 2. One thing I do miss, however, is the flashlight. I used to use this on my Versa 2 if I got up in the middle of the night. It gave me just as much light as I needed whilst not waking anyone else in the house. Now I have to use the torch on my phone which is much brighter and likely to disturb others. All in all I am relatively pleased – and I do like the new wrist strap arrangement.
I’m delighted with my versa 4 which replaced my Fitbit 2 which had broken screen, and had needed replacing for some time. This was quite easy to set up and is comparable with Apple Watch but better value for money.
I’ve only had this a few days but I’m really pleased with it. Easy to set up and records everything I want it to. It’s comfortable to wear and I think it looks quite stylish.
I love it. Tried Pixel watch, unfortunately the crown developed a fault and the battery lasted just one day. This suits me better. On day 4 now and over 40% battery left with one 45mins GPS run. The health metrics are good and the sleep sensing is one of the best in industry. What’s not to like. One thing to remember it’s fitness tracker/ watch more than smartwatch. If that in mind it’s great for what it is. And the price is just righ
Really pleased with purchase, charged up and put on at night time discovered scratch on screen next morning unsure if it came like it or if I did it myself through night . Really happy with it apart from tha
This is a recent purchase, so we have not yet got to grips with many of the features but those we are using, such as step count, and heart rate monitor, seem to be working fine. The watch is comfortable to wear, has an easy to read display, and communicates well with the phone. A slight issue during initial set up was that the clock was 4 hours out, even though it appeared to be set for the correct time zone. However, we tried changing it to another time zone, and then back to the UK, and that, somewhat mysteriously, corrected the time.
I’ve had this for a couple of months now, and most importantly I use it to track calories burnt during my weight sessions in the gym. The Versa 4 syncs with my Nutracheck app nicely which is very handy indeed when viewing your calorific intake.
The sleep monitoring is interesting and useful for telling you your quality of sleep which is of great importance for physical recovery and for mental health monitoring. The higher quality of sleep the better.
I like that there are plenty of watch faces to change whenever you feel like it, using the fitbit app. Not all are free but there are plenty that are.
On the downside, I find the strap very fiddly. You do get two sizes which is helpful and you can buy more online to change the look or just have more comfort.
The step count i find is highly inaccurate. It tells me daily I have done over 10,000 steps which I dont think is true. It once told me I had done this when I was driving my car home from work one evening, and I had been sat in the car for 15 minutes at that point. So as a step tracker, I dont think it’s entirely accurate, unfortunately.
All in all, I would recommend it if you exercise frequently as it’s a helpful tool for monitoring heart rate, calories burnt and times your session. It counts upwards so is helpful for monitoring rest times and keeping them to what they should be. Downside is the strap and step counter.
EDIT: Well after 3 months, my fitbit has bit the dust. It refused to charge and now the battery is dead and the watch wont turn on at all. A great shame as I was reasonably happy with it, but thankfully Amazon will refund me. Hard to say if I would buy another one in this moment, but I would consider something else, sadly.
So far so good! Initially bought Charge 2 which is still going, though now outdated. Bought a Charge 5, but very quickly the battery life diminished to just a few hours a day. Checked website, waited for firmware upgrade and despite using all other tips would not keep its charge! After reverting back to the Charge 2 to keep a track on my steps etc, I then risked this Versa 4 and so far everything is working as should and happy with it and it’s battery life!!
When I bought this watch i got excited it would be my first fitbit since years after having really off brand crappy smartwatches. The order arrived quick and on time (with prime shipping) and after setting the watch which was speedy it was ready.Reading the fact that it had NFC was the main selling point for me however after installing google pay and putting in my saved card details it would NOT let the card be authorised. My card is supported by google pay if you are wondering.Such a disappointment but i guess that is okay considering the fact that i could just use my iPhone.Another thing was the missing spotify capabilities that the versa 3 had but these 2 cons were relatively minor. The heart rate sensor was accurate enough to say it is good enough, the sleep tracking and SpO2 readings were decent as well. The alexa assistant is good but i’d prefer google assistant. The OS though looks significantly better than the Versa 3 does however.
always loved fitbits and if you like them to, this will not disapoint. charges fast and update quick. app can somtimes still be glitchy but on the whole i love i
Bought this for my wife she is happy with the Fitbit but strap that it came with my wife had a reaction to, so had to buy another strap.
Navigating the Fitbit menus can be a little complicated. Some useful facilities.
So easy to set up and the battery life does last the 6 days even with using all the apps. It is straight forward to use and has a wealth of information. I have found the sleep app the most beneficial and having reminders to move and drink water is useful. The recipes are varied and makes tracking calories consumed easy to do. Would recommend
This is great for tracking sleep, heart rate , activity level and the premium benefits are wonderful. The only downfall is the battery life.
Love this watch, had an ionic for the last few years though recently the strap started irritating my skin and the gps went on it so upgraded to this versa 4 the strap is comfortable and soft with a nice clasp, the features are so much better and easier to check in with everything you need on the watch itself, no need to keep checking into the app.
And it’s half the price the ionic was.
I have zero need for a smart watch and hate the fact that even when you don’t have your phone with you, you constantly receive notifications from your phone. In my opinion, a fitness watch should be a fitness watch, and not a mini phone on your wrist. I replaced my apple watch with this and would never go back. I also like the fact you can turn all notifications off so it’s just focuses on what it’s supposed to do, tell the time and track your daily movements and fitness/activities. Nice to have the Fitbit premium included for 6 months for free also. Early days but a 5/5 from me.
Battery lasts a few days, comfortable to wear. The statistics and monitoring are very impressive, and provide quite an insight into exercise and health. At 74 I am no athlete, so walking and some cycling my main activities. I would like to lose 1kg which I hope the watch & app will be able to help me with.
Have had a Fitbit versa since it came out years ago so an upgrade was well over due. My Fitbit 4 is a seemless transition it is accurate and easy to use.
Best fitness watch I have owned I had a Samsung watch 4 previously and couldn’t get on with it
Fitbit is easy to use
Tracks exercise steps and sleep no issues also receive notifications
Battery life is amazing 7 days better than thr leading apple and Samsung
Highly recommend
This is my second great watch/ tracker and great value happy to recommend
It’s a nice watch and a lot more… A bit expensive in my opinion but it has a lot going for it…
