I got these I’m red for my 12 year old son who plays football. He is rather very skinny and these fit him so tightly on the naked leg without any shingruards or socks. They are pretty sturdy but we have not washed them yet. So fat my son said they are comfortable.
Lad wore these to football training and a Saturday game. He has big calves so some socks can be too tight.
These were perfect and comfortable. The other test was, would they hold the shin pad in place and it passed that test as well. So happy with these, so hopefully they will last.

My husband loves these, they fit perfectly over his grip socks. They are well made and wash and dry well.
They provide good protection for the legs and do not fall down when playing. They are tight enough around the ankle and around the top of the leg.
The best socks I’ve purchased for football. I’ve told all my team about them. I will be purchasing more colours!
These are great football sock sleeves. My son plays for a local under 13s football team and the socks they wear are yellow. However, the ones given to him were the darkest yellow I have ever seen. Must have been someone else’s socks. Therefore, with these, he wears his own white ankle socks underneath, then put these on. Very comfortable for him. Easily cover from the football boot to under his knees. Even with his shin pads on there is enough slack in the socks to put these on, but not too much that the socks would slide down. AT 6.99 at time of review, a bargain!!!

I don’t really know much about football, I just get a list from my son with things he need for football matches / training.
He had some new grip socks for Xmas and wanted some sock sleeves.
The colour match was prefect for his football kit (Green)
He said these are a prefect fit, good quality, fits over a range of shin pads, lightweight, comfortable and does everything they should do.
From a mums point of view they wash and dry lovely and don’t go out of shape or fade in colour.
We have even passed the product detail to others in the football squad.
These are great quality sock sleeves, ever so well made, no loose stitching!
They fit perfectly, stretch well and are very comfortable to wear.

These are literally socks without the foot bit, fit’s like a football sock, but stretchy and comfortable enough to not feel like you are cutting off blood circulation. Length is good and should cover most shin areas. Also it doesn’t run up and down, or scrunch while wearing much, so sock tape is not essential for this item.
These socks are great, perfect for wearing over shin pads. They’re great quality and fit really nicely. Amazing!
Good quality materials, stretchy, breathable and a nice thickness.
They’re not an exact colour match with my red grip socks but they do look really good as you can see in my images, easy to put on, take off and fold over without being too tight that they might restrict the bloodflow.

Got these for my son who plays for the u11 team. Intention is to wear these as a base layer then shin pads then socks – this way it’ll provide extra warmth during the winter months and also make wearing the shinpads more comfortable and reduce rubbing.
Son loves them. So much that he wore them in bed. They therefore pass the comfy test.
Will try them this weekend if cold enough.
I’m very impressed with these sock sleeves. They are a very good fit, tight but not too tight and stayed up throughout a whole game with no trouble. You will need grip socks to go with them, but they are easily available. Shin pads fit well under the socks, too.
I would be very happy to buy more of these in different colours for different matches.
Comfortable enough to put on and wear and grippy enough to hold the shin pads in place. You should be able to find a colour that suits.
Our 14 year old has worn grip socks for a couple of years now but previously we couldn’t find any socks like this and he’d resorted to cutting off the foot part of his socks with scissors to make them look like the socks that professional footballers were wearing over grip socks. Needless to say the bottom of the cut socks would look a total mess and fray etc. too.
Obviously these socks are unbranded and non patterned but they’re a great alternative to a sock massacre for kids who like to wear grip socks, so come highly recommended from us!

Simple and quick review. Exactly as you’d want. Perfect, stretchy sock. Spot on as my son now wears those all-of-a-sudden fashionable grip socks, he’d cut the sock out of the original kit. These are far better and designed for that very reason so the finish around the ankle is perfect.
Perfect sock sleeve. Gives a great alternative to cutting socks if you like that breathable feet feeling when playing sports. Personally this is perfect as now i don’t have to cut my socks when plahing !!! Also keeps my shin pads in place . Would definitely recommend
