Bought to replace my old Garmin satnav so I knew what to expect. I particularly like the split screen when approaching a junction making it clear which lane to be in.
I was using Garmin Drivesmart 65 MT-D and I know what to expect from Garmin. But unfortunately Drivecam 76 didn’t give very big improvement. It still has missing one very useful feature. It even could be the best or perfect Sat Nav out of the box if… Voice speed camera warning or other voice warning. People still waiting for it. (User can sideload Voice speedcam warning, but why? This should be out of the box. Dash cam feature built in SAT NAV is very welcome. Quality is I can say very good. For me is enough.
Love the size , easy to read and hear , Garmin has great operating system and mapping , as a truck driver I use in conjunction with bridge maps and therefore it’s great for what I do , traffic and camera alerts are good
An expensive item that works well. Can be a problem installing on some cars as i found out. I needed to replace the mount with one with a long stem due to the slope of my windscreen and dash depth.

I have always been a fan of garmin satnavs and wanted to try one with a dashcam.as the speed sensing alerts, traffic camera alerts and lane guidance features cannot be found on any phone based alternate. There is not much improvement from the drive smart series. Alexa is missing and ok Garmin voice assist is hit and Miss for addresses but works great for volume, brightness etc
Camera-wise I am satisfied – coming from a high end Nextbase dashcam world and this one is far more reliable, license plates are easily readable. Lane assist is hit and Miss.
Mounting options are limited given the camera at back. Overall, I like it. There is room for improvement.
