My son is a boxer and skipping is a big part of his fitness routine. He gets through quite a few ropes and we always have a couple in reserve. This is one of his favourite designs – thick, foamy handles that are easy to grip and light plastic rope that doesn’t hurt when it hits the shins! Given the frequency and intensity of use, this will not last very long but for the price that isn’t a big problem as we can easily replace it as and when we need to.
Good quality product with soft grip and handles. Foaming is great and comes with additional weights to adjust to your workout. I like having weights on since it give you extra wrist movement. PVC quality ripe is adjustable and easily washable if used outside. Good product to have.
This skipping rope came attached to a branded cardboard information card. The rope itself did arrive tightly coiled so it is worth hanging the rope up with the weights still in place, so they straighten the rope out a bit (it was impossible to use straight out of the packaging it was too kinked). The skipping rope is 275cm in length and has black foam handles with a red cord. I’ve recently started skipping and I thought that the addition of weights would help with the exercise. You can really feel the benefit and difference after a few minutes of skipping when comparing to a normal skipping rope — it’s great for your cardio workout.
The skipping rope handles contain weights made from iron and each weigh exactly 227g. These weights are removable if you want a lighter workout routine, but the addition of the weights is a great idea. To remove the weights, you just twist off the ends of the handle and remove the bar of metal.
The rope is made from a PVC material but unfortunately doesn’t have metal in the centre which some skipping ropes do. This will mean that it isn’t as hardwearing and will eventually break, particularly if you are using it on a hard surface such as concrete. However, it is always better for the skipping rope to skip on a softer surface to help reduce the impact of rope wear. It is very to clean by wiping down with a cloth and the rotation of the rope is smooth and it doesn’t catch. The rope is also adjustable to your height.
The handles are comfortable and provide a good grip but the logo on the handles is very likely to wear away. This of course doesn’t affect its functionality but doesn’t look the greatest. Priced at 12.99 at the time of writing the review, I’m a bit disappointed it doesn’t have metal in the centre of the rope for longevity but ultimately, the weights are a good idea.
I have tried to use normal skipping ropes with limited success. With a bit of practice I managed a few skips using these weighted ones. I find I can keep up some momentum with them. Over a few days I have been increasing the time that I have been using them. As a not very fit oap I quite enjoy using them.

Fantastic a really versatile product. If you’re looking for a new skipping rope this one really ticks a lot of boxes. I love that it’s weighted makes skipping quick and more intense over longer periods of time. I seem to be able to do double under’s much more consistently with the weighted handles.
You can adjust the weights and remove them completely.
The handle bars a really comfortable to hold as they have a foam layer and I generally prefer the thicker cables which this has.

This is great for cardio excises and strengthening muscles as well as burning more calories compared to standard skipping ropes. I love that I can also remove the weights and adjust the length of the skipping rope and tuck it into the handle without it getting in the way. My only criticism is that I did find the rotating cap on the handle is made of plastic that doesn’t seem to be durable, but I assume that the foam around the handle will protect it from breaking/ cracking if I was to accidentally drop the handles.
This skipping rope is brilliant. the hand grip cushion is really comfortable, and it’s really smooth when skipping. The weights in the skipping rope don’t move around unlike other ones i’ve used. They are also very easy to remove if you need to. 100% the best skipping rope i’ve used and i definitely recommend buying this!!
It is a really good design that the weight in handles can be removed if needed. It gave my arms a workout as it is different from most of the normal skipping ropes.

Killer on the body and the arms, definitely a good workout, 0.5kg isn’t much but after a few minutes skipping it is.
This rope is great for a cardio workout, after a minute of skipping you can also definitely feel the benefits of the weighted handles on the upper arm muscles too which is great. Good workout for muscles and cardio.

This is pretty good to include with my boxing workout good rope motion good weight in handle’s that can be removed if needed certainly gave my arms a work out surprised what a difference it made from a normal skipping rope good price great for getting fit would recommend
The concert is really interesting and something that, for some reason, I hadn’t though about before. It looks great and is just overall a really nice and great-for-exercising product.

When I first received the product I thought “wow, this is heavy, am I going to use this safely?” but then when I unpacked it and held each side in one hand it all made sense, and was easy to use.
I thought the build quality was excellent, loved the weighted handles (it’s not light) but it feels really good.
The rope is made of rubber nice (could be nicer if it was a slightly heavier material).
I really liked this product and would certainly recommend it.

Wasn’t expecting much from this skipping rope but I’m pleased to say that it’s actually a lot better than I’d hoped for.
The handles are comfortable and soft and have removable weights inside them. I noticed that the logo on one of the handles is already peeling away and I have only used it once so don’t expect it to last much longer but obviously it doesn’t affect how well the rope works.
I hung the rope overnight over a door in order to remove some of the kinks from packing and it seems to have helped. The rope performs well, and I like that it has some weight to it, I haven’t tried this style before. The removeable weights actually weigh 129g each. The weather hasn’t been very kind to me, and it has rained most of the day so outdoor use is currently rather limited. I managed to miss hitting any furniture testing it indoors but it’s not the ideal exercise space. Can’t wait to get skipping again once the weather improves. This is a good skipping rope with weights.
Skipping rope hand grips are comfortable to hold and use, there spongy with slight texture so easy to grip onto.

All in, the weight is 1lbs . 6oz – 623 grams, you can however twist off ends of grips and remove the piece of metal to make them lighter to use.
They will provide a good addition to any workout.

The skipping rope is very good & the weighted handles are a good weight.
The plastic/nylon rope is very bent from being tied up but once it smoothes out will be even better as will swing better.
It must be noted that after being used once the name GOZONE is already peeling off on the O & N on one of the skipping ropes handles. Not a serious issue unless someone believes the brand name is important or adds value. I’m just not sure that the foam is designed to last a long time with daily use.
