You either hate it or you like it. I loved it. Loved the different sort of goings on in it made a change to see something different in the story than the same old thing which gets dull after so many movies.

Really enjoyed this film but very similar to previous Halloween films. As a huge horror fanatic it was nice to see an end? Good twist with in the film. A great start up to the film aswell.

This isn’t a perfect movie it isn’t bad though .I’d have made it the same night as Halloween kills and had it end in the same way Halloween 2 did (with Laurie and myers killing one another) with Corey being a continuation of evil for a new Halloween generatio

I’m a huge Horrror and Halloween fan but I don’t think this is the same as the first two films. The kills were super gory and good but I expected a bit more, it’s a good end to the trilogy. Dolby Atmos on the 4k, WOW.

Despite some poor reviews from some people this film seems to have viewers split on it,some like it and some don’t.

I really enjoyed it and thought it was a good conclusion to the modern trilogy,A little far fetched in places but films tend to be like that in general these days.

If you enjoyed the other 2 films before it then I would recommend it.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersAfter a lot of negativity surrounding this film i found it surprisingly good. At least it offers something fresh and is not just another Michael Myers slaughter spree. Liked the idea of the young lad becoming more evil and sort of aligning himself to the Myers character. Laurie has seemingly conquered her demons but is dragged into a final full on confrontation with Michael. Really pleased this had a definitive ending and is the last one with these characters. Jamie Lee Curtis is excellent as always and is well supported by the other actors. Lovely touches with the Halloween mask looking old and Myers looking totally worn out. I guess some fans are disappointed that is not the usual bloodbath but it’s a well thought out movie and actually the final scene is very well done. Of course it does have it’s faults but this is one of the best films in the series. A good watch, I enjoyed it a lot.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBig fan of the Halloween movies growing up but not so much the new ones. So when this one came out and received the amount of hate it got I didn’t go into it expecting much. But I actually really enjoyed it. And sure he comes across as really weak but after what his body has gone though it makes sense that his body is done. Definitely would watch agai

Not as good as the first two in the trilogy but not as bad as some reviews I have read. Low body count (compared to the previous two). Spoiler – At least you know there will be no more!

This film bought something familiar that we love about Halloween films and I found the film really enjoyable and interesting. Since 1978 this is has been going and I think this was a fitting conclusion to the franchise. Look forward to watching them again and again for many years! Jamie Lee Curtis is Amazing to this franchise and there’s some great extras on how the film has changed her life! Don’t listen to the negative reviews, I didn’t, make up your own mind, I loved it and shall definitely watch this movie and others lots more times.

    SO disappointed last time
This is a much better film, going beyond the usual slasher genre with a highly nuanced plot which feels more satisfying – but plenty for the gorehounds too!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersNow this final film in the trilogy is pretty divisive. I’m a hard core Halloween and Michael Myers fan, and on first view at the cinema I walked away really disappointed with where this film went.
Having now watched it a couple more times since buying its growing on me.
Yes Michael isn’t the focus and the ending really was an ending for him, but the story of Corey and how it intertwines with Laurie writing her memoirs and seeing the face of evil and not letting it in is actually pretty clever.

I will always have wanted old Mikey to be in it more and the looking into Corey’s eyes and seeing the evil was a bit far fetched, but seeing Michael grow in strength after how Kills ended and even kill as a duo was a great twist.
There was good and bad in this film but it’s really worth a go and be open minded.

The ending really was a full stop end for the original characters, but who knows what the future might bring with another Halloween timeline!

As a massive Halloween fan I was very excited for this film , its a very different approach to the storyline but I think its a good approach, certain parts definitely played out different to how I would of guessed

Jamie Lee Curtis carried this move to the end. It felt good to see her win, I was rooting for her. A satisfying end.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersI saw this 3 times in cinema and knew what to think ( for most part ) beforehand due to watching content creators ”spoliers” on what film was about. DGG created maybe the best told story ever – close to Season of the witch , he has since said he planned to involve silver shamrock and story about Michael’s mask in the film , which would have given it a better storyline . I loved Rohan Campbells acting and thought Andi Matichek was great . They missed the boat big style with only having around 11 mins of Michael screen time when he was alive . Poor marketing is the reason this film is getting hate , I personally love it ! It could have been so much better if they had ; Went with full Halloween 3 , silver shamrock story for michael like they planned , hadn’t made Michael so weak , explored the essence transfer from Michael to Corey in more detail and went with a different ending – either kill Michael and Laurie and have Corey survive and door open for him and Allyson story down the road OR simply have Laurie fail . The ending and parts of the Laurie story were too far beyond the realms of reality – As a Halloween film and in this trilogy it scores a 3.5/10 for me but as a standalone film its 8.5/10
