Bought the 85 inch and couldn’t believe how big it actually was when box arrived. The box is bigger than a double bed. Very well protected with loads of polystyrene. The stand feet were way too wide to fit on any stand I could see so we mounted to the wall. Tv weights 42kg with no stand.
Picture quality is amazing sound is great too love the different sound modes especially the late night mode takes all the bass out for late night films or gaming.

After 15 years my Samsung TV needed to be replaced (tuner stopped working properly). On the advice of a neighbour, I went for the Hisense instead of a more well known brand and saved loads of money! Not sorry I did, as the picture quality and features are great. Would recommend this to anyone!

Used for several months, performance of TV is well for watching normal TV programs. Considering selling price is more competitive than that of Sony/Samsung/LG, I regards as high Cost Performance ratio

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersOne of the cheaper smart TV’s but definitely a good one! The picture quality is amazing and the sound is good, 3 HDMI’s is a downgrade for us but is definitely manageable, arrived undamaged and we’ll packaged for its protection, note that it does have a protective layer of plastic over the screen, so if there is a mark on arrival, (for us it was red) make sure to check it’s not just on the plastic (made us panic before we realised) my only issue with the TV was that the feet are so far from the center (unlike our old Samsung) that it wouldn’t fit on our tv stand, so we had to buy a new one, otherwise no issue, tv and remote work beautifully.

Delivery time messed around by DPD, nothing different there.
The tv wanted to update straight away, also getting me to download the app.
Picture quality is awesome, east to navigate the remote and options. Super lightweight.
The only negative I can give it, is that it only has 3 hdmi ports, for the size (58inch) I’d like to have 1 more. Other than that I can’t find any fault.
    Highly recommend

With regular format 4k in hdr I have no issues. Dolby Vision is a bit hit and miss. The picture is very clear on all content. I don’t see any motion smoothing implemented which is perfectly fine.
The speakers are better than I expected quite loud and not too tinny. The menu system is very easy and convenient to access. The apps can be a bit laggy but once media is playing, all is good. Can’t comment on live tv because I don’t use that feature. All in all considering how much I paid its a very acceptable telly.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThis is an excellent 4k smart TV , probably the easiest smart TV I’ve ever set up , no hassle at all to set up via QR code to install the app on my phone then update the TV , you can control the tv with your phone but I’ve not bothered using that feature since connecting the TV up to my Sky TV box via HDMI.

I have the TV set up to sky and to a Soundbar , both were easily connected no hassle and although this TV has good quality virtual sound , the sound bar is still better sound quality but I still think the sound quality on this TV is clear and also loud.

This is an excellent family television, it’s got a nice clear crisp display , colours are brilliant, natural looking , vibrant especially when watching in 4k , for the price the quality of the picture is exceptional value.

I’ve been using this TV for 6 months now and not had a problem , the sleep timer is a bit annoying and the TV will turn itself off and give a countdown warning if you haven’t switched channels but that can be easily fixed in the settings.

Connectivity and functionality is brilliant, I can stream YouTube videos to this TV or you can use apps easily , but we use it through sky TV and it works brilliantly.

I like that you get different possibilities to fix the TV stands close or spaced apart , there is also a large gap so the soundbar doesn’t obstruct the TV screen.

Definitely the easiest TV I’ve ever set up and the picture quality is as good as tvs double the price.

I’d definitely recommend this smart tv it is excellent value.

5.0 out of 5 stars Superb value , easy set up , amazing picture , large screen 📺

For general viewing the picture quality is good, sound excellent and contrast sharp. We’ve no complaints at all and are very pleased with our purchase. Ordered it on a Friday, told to expect it on the followinf Tuesday and to our surprise and delight it turned up the day after we ordered it. Marvellous.

TV is obviously 4K and pretty good quality for the price! Though, the software VIDAA is a bit weird to navigate and only has a few apps you’d need. Me personally I wanted to download crunchyroll to watch anime in 4K but they don’t have it on the store. Overall its good for PS4 and PS5 or any other external device but stand alone is a bit tricky. The mobile mirroring is also quite bad and unstable so if you want that this TV is not for you.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersI have a samsung entry model in bed room. Wanted to buy a samsung again. But see this more affordable one, so changed my mind. I was worried I might regret before it arrived, because I never purchased Hisense before.
Once I open the box, I am happy with the looks of it, with the thin edge, the front doesn’t look like a entry level TV.
Both picture and sound quality are noticeably better than the Samsung in the bedroom.
Only downside is delay of game, my son complained about delay when he played online game when connected to it. For this price, should not complain about it with delay. For serious gamer may need a better one. For watching TV, Netflix.., won’t regret buying this.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI wanted to buy the 85 inch version, but got messed around by another company. So I saw this and did not realise that it was the same model as I wanted to buy, but twenty inches smaller but also cheaper. My TV is now on the stand and I have given it a quick test. I use Costa Rica 4K on Youtube to test the screen and picture quality is pretty amazing, but not all videos are the same, I tried a music video and that was shot at a lower resolution but a modern video past year and it was not as good as I thought that it might be. As I have mentioned a music video, that leads me onto the sound quality, I would say that you need a sound bar really, to make the TV stand out a lot more. The remote and smart features are pretty standard and you will either love or hate them, if you hate them they you will have something like a Fire Stick etc. As for mounting on a stand or the wall, the VESA holes are covered by a panel, so you have to remove that first. My second Hisense TV now and I am more than happy with both of them. The quality is quite good and the price is fantastic, yes you are not getting top of the line, you would have to pay thousands to get a decent TV, but for less than five hundred pounds, I am more than happy with the 65 inch screen that I brought.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersGreat tv 55inch fhd and 4k at this price 330 pounds very happy with my purchase tv arrived quickly and undamaged it’s great for gaming and as standard tv. A few drawbacks however as it a bezelless design it it’s very fragile on the sides as to much pressure will crack the glass as I installed myself mounted on a wall it wasn’t easy as you have to handle with extreme care unlike other TV’s which you can just pick up without thinking about it so would recommend at least two people to install on a wall it’s absolutely fine with the stands though also the screen is very reflective which dose get annoying. I wonder if Hisense has a film that you can put over the tv screen to reduce it’s reflectiveness like a phone screen protector just a thought hense the 4 out of 5 stars another slight annoyence the viddia app is useless as you need to connect via lan will not accept WiFi note the tv can connect to WiFi for streaming ect but to connect to the app you need lan very confusing.

Golden Review Award: 19 From Our UsersAs a TV it is a lot of bang for very little buck and I can’t fault it. Where it falls down for me is when it’s a smart TV. The smart TV is powered by VIDAA and I personally don’t think it’s half as good or accessable as a fire stick. That was easily rectified by just plugging back in the stick and turning off the VIDAA system. Don’t be put off because it is a beautiful TV, the price is a steal, sound is great, picture is sharp, colourful and it looks perfect in the corner of your room. It’s down to personal choice and I personally don’t like the VIDAA smart TV system and others might prefer it, but don’t let that put you off buying a fantastic TV. ( Star deducted only because I don’t like the VIDAA system)

4.0 out of 5 stars Fantastic TV, poor smart system

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersI never really do reviews, but felt that I needed to for this amazing TV. I also realise how brain bending it is searching for a TV and being bombarded with so much info!!
What can I say, the TV is everything I had hoped for.
I was studying all the spec on TV’s 65″ around this price point, receiving mixed reviews, many people have suggested that the sound quality wasn’t that good, oh wow the Sound is Great.
Previously have owned Sony, LG & Samsung and I can say the sound is great & volume very high much better than the others.
In addition the Picture quality is awesome, high def & 4k looks breathtaking and just draws you in.
We have quite a light lounge during the day and the TV performs great, previously had a high spec LG and the picture was barely visible on sunny days and having to shut the curtains, not ideal!
Seriously your search is over and save yourself a fortune on this amazing TV..

Golden Review Award: 20 From Our Users4 stars for the tv, minus 0 stars for the delivery organisation, that was very very irritating to be honest. went for the 58 instead of the 55 just for the small bit of difference. Size is suitable if using in a room where view space isn’t to far. Sound is ok not as bad as reviews say but There is a slight feed back with sound at times but nothing major. set up was fine and connected to my Alexa quite easily although not necessary as the remote has voice control functions. As a gadget person I would definitely recommend this tv, I have a well known brand screen in another room and quality is very similar apart from the sound thing. Also handle with care Front screen feels like wate

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersPicture quality is amazing however with sound is definitively need a sound bar as it’s very weak. I bought it on cyber Monday in a rush thinking it was on sale only to come back and see the price is still the same so wish I didn’t rush with that.

But none the less I’m happy with my purchase it’s a bargain for the size and price and easy to assemble by yourself. I live in a flat and they brought it upstairs for me in the lift and left it in the lounge for me. So overall all is perfect apart from sound. I won’t need an external connection like my old tv I needed Roku but this one has built in apps all you need is internet to be connected.

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersWell for the money it does what it’s supposed to do. VIDAA is not the fastest nor the best but it has the apps and they work. To get a brand new SMART TV 4K for this kind of money , it is a good deal. Of course it cannot compete with tv’s that cost twice as much but for the price it is very good. If you need affordable TV and you don’t want a small one then this is the one. Nice picture with good wifi connection and apps work without an issue. I can tell it was a good but.

Golden Review Award: 28 From Our UsersI am SO impressed with this telly. I purchased a 50inch telly last year from another well known catalogue shop in the UK, within 13months line appeared all over the screen and they refused to do anything about it. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and purchased another telly from them, for that one to last less then an hour and have to be sent back. Anyway, after doing A LOT of research we came across this one. I am so pleased that we ended up with this make and model. For the price it does everything a top of the rage TV would do, but at a fraction of the cost. The picture quality is second to none, you can record with an added external hard drive or memory stick, it is really sleek looking and the sound quality is good too. I did have to get in touch with the courier company to arrange a delivery slot, which I wasn’t aware of and if I hadn’t of emailed them on the day it was meant to be delivered to find out where it was, I probably would of been none the wiser either. When it arrived it was extremely well packaged, down to a full screen protector, something I’ve never seen on a TV before. Over all, I would highly recommend this TV, it does everything you need and more.

    WOW!!!

Golden Review Award: 19 From Our UsersHard to find fault with this TV for 299, but there’s a couple if minor things I’d change if I could.
    1. I’m having to use the digital output to my sound system as it doesn’t have HDMI (Hi-Fi system). This isn’t a problem by itself, it’s just that the TV then isolates the sound to this digital connection only, meaning it cuts off the TV sound. This means I have to keep swapping the sound settings when I want to use the Hi-Fi sound. My previous TV simply added the hi-fi sound to the TV sound which meant I didn’t have to change any settings.
    2. NowTV app isn’t available on this TV. Not a major problem as I only have NowTV for 3 months a year at Christmas, and can use my PS4 for this, but still, it needs mentioning.
So far I can’t find any other issues. Yes the sound quality isn’t brilliant, but TVs nowadays are all shite in this regard as they’re so thin, so can’t knock it for that.
Overall for this price, I’d definitely recommend this TV. It looks great with its tiny frame, works well for Smart functions, and produces a good picture. Works well for games too.
Be aware I’ve only had it for a week.

Golden Review Award: 34 From Our UsersGood picture quality, tou need to play with the setting to switch off auto dimming and stuff but once you configure it to your need it’s quite good.

A couple of criticisms. Basic remote and no setting preset programming. You cant just click one button on remote to change settings, you need to do this manually each time. Playing videos from USB can be a bit buggy (although useable) when you play videos via USB they sometimes say it doesn’t recognise the file and you have to reset to factory settings to make it work again.

Theres no way to forget connection info without restoring to factory settings.

Power consumption is high. It’s an F rating in UK.

Appart from these litte snags it’s quite a good TV. Some people are complaining about the sound but sound is suitable it you live on a semi with next door neighbor’s.

The refresh rate is good for gaming. The colours are vivid.

For the price tag, this is a steal.

Golden Review Award: 21 From Our UsersI’m happy with most aspects of this tv. Unfortunately I’m having constant issues with the Disney+ app. It keeps crashing all the time and nothing I’ve tried can fix it. I get the message saying ‘insufficient system memory’ so did a Google search and found loads of videos detailing how to free up space on a Hisense tv by deleting apps. Unfortunately every single video, website and forum I’ve been to have given instructions but they have a different menu set up to the model I have (55A6BGTUK) so are useless. Nowhere on this tv can I find an option to delete apps. So annoying as I just subscribed to the Disney channel and it’s a complete waste of money not being able to watch it. My connection runs at 80-100 mbps so I know that’s not the problem. Very frustrating! Have messaged the seller so hoping they tell me how to delete apps as right now all I can do is delete the cache but the problem keeps returning. update- spoke to seller about the problem, not particularly helpful and sounded patronising.

Golden Review Award: 122 From Our UsersNow, as a reviewer of many items, I like to test products thoroughly and see how they fare over time during real-world use. I’ve waited for over 6 months to review this 55″ Hisense 55A6GTUK 4K TV so I could thoroughly put it through its paces and give a fair opinion on its overall performance. I have to say, it’s been a bit of a bargain that hasn’t disappointed me after prolonged use and has been well above my expectations.

It provides a clear quality relatively vibrant viewing experience that we have just about set up perfectly for our preferences through the easy-to-navigate onboard settings. The sound is surprisingly good and provides a decent tone and a nice hint of bass, making it great for movies and music, but just as useful for gaming where this TV has performed very well. Being a smart TV there it is packed with features and apps etc that enhance the viewing experience and this is where the TV comes to life as it’s a fast, smooth operating system that doesn’t have that slow clunky feeling that many smart TVs often have. With prime Video built-in with plenty of 4K movies to view, it’s a joy to watch and shows images as intended with bright whites and deep black tones that add real depth. Add a 4K Firestick and it’s an even more joyous affair as the TV’s remote and settings are geared up to function and run smoothly with the device, making it feel like an inbuilt app and not a standalone bit of kit.

Gaming is fun and there is no discernable lag or ghosting with a Series S at 4K though I play at 1080p 120hrz as the difference is night and day in terms of gameplay, particularly when playing FPS games etc. It’s great fun.

In summary, at this price, the 2021 version is a steal and one that I would highly recommend as the last 6 months have been a pleasure with this bargain of a TV.

Thanks for taking the time to read my review, I hope you found it helpful.
