I would consider this medium duty AirTag protection. I would not clip it to my luggage or to anything that might be handled by someone other than myself. This provides enough protection around the AirTag with great edge protection. If you are going to use this where it can get smashed in from the side, including to where it could get pushed or poked out of the case, then a full enclosure is probably a better idea. Some of those muffle the sound emitted by the AirTag, so keep in mind that if you need to have your AirTag play a sound to help you locate it, then this is a much better choice. I am a bit concerned that the weak point is where the metal ring goes through the silicone cover. I did pull the cover from the ring and it did handle a fair amount of stress, but it does seem that the silicone will fail before the metal ring will.
My son just started driving our old Tahoe with the standard key. He has a tendency to misplace his keys. Since purchasing these, he has not once lost his keys to be late for school. He has gotten in the habit of hanging them up so maybe we will not have to use these forever. They are still great for our boat keys and snowmobile keys or any keys that you may not use all the time and forget where you put them.
The band is very thick and sturdy. These will definitely protect an airtag. I thought there would have been a cover of the airtag itself, but this is only the surrounding octagon piece. The airtag itself is exposed on either side to not affect bluetooth.
The airtag slips into the ring and pressure seals it in and keep it water proof.
These are pretty durable and I haven’t had any issues with them. I also like the rings that comes with them.
I like these! waterproof even makes them better. I have 4 airtags so I am glad it came in a 4 pack. I will buy these again.
The quality of the material is quite good the metal carabiner is solid not flimsy and has a bit of weight to it. The case itself is a thick semi rigid silicone. Getting the AirTag in is pretty straightforward and very secure, pretty unlikely it will just fall out. However this claims that is has some scratch protection and water proofing which I’m not entirely convinced. The issue here is the tag holder is empty in the middle there is no cap or anything to protect the AirTag from getting scratched if it took a direct hit. The waterproof claim could work, but I wouldn’t buy this because of it the silicone could deform or there might not be a proper seating if the air tag in the holder that water could get in.
I’ve used the rubber/silicon versions of Airtag holders, and found that they can come loose when stuffed into a bag or when interacting with nearby bags. These are definitely not coming out unless you want them to. In anything, they are over-engineered, but I got these to make sure the Airtags are secure and these will certainly fit the bill. Pretty good deal for 4.
Received these as a Vine customer but have purchased similar before. This is like many others out there, a silicon based AirTag holder with a snap on type ring. It feels very solid and unlikely to accidentally have the air tag dislodge. Very suitable for putting on a backpack or computer bag and at least as good or better than the 2 previous sets that I purchased.
We acquired these AirTag holders to replace silicone ones from which the AirTag would easily fall out. These new ones pictured are made of hard plastic and snap together, so on the positive side, these certainly retain the AirTag more securely.
I have a few doubts, though, which I took off a star for. Firstly, the plastic is hard and feels brittle, and based on previous experience, I don’t think these will survive a strong-enough direct impact. Secondly, the AirTag spins freely inside and has no protection over the center portion on the front or back, so you can expect your AirTag to get scratched up faster than it otherwise would. Lastly, there is no clean way to separate these once snapped together. This may present a problem during the yearly battery replacement. You might be able to pry them off, but there’s no guarantee they will survive intact.
Overall, they do the job but risk a short lifespan, which is something to consider for the price.
These hold up pretty well. They’re AirTag cases, so it’s a pretty simple design. Attached to my luggage and keys just fine.
I love this AirTag holder. It attaches to the tag super well, and it looks super cute. The middle doesn’t have anything so it shows the tag really well, but the downside is that the tag isn’t completely protected. I am okay with that though because it holds on to the tag really well, and it looks cute.
These went over well as Christmas gifts – well the Air Tag part was a big reason why – but the design and sturdiness of these keychains was appreciated. The air tags pope in with a little effort, so you have no worries of them popping out.
Just purchased the AirTag, so I wanted something durable in case it were to fall down and these cases did the trick because there well protected. Another thing I love is keychain part of case also a very nice touch and the quality of the chain works great. There very durable and I like that a head a different variety of colors in this one pack. My favorite color is pink so that’s obviously the reason I chose pink as soon as I got them. They are a bit hard to get off, but that shouldn’t matter because I don’t think you would be taking on and off a case like that so I do recommend it. I’m happy with my purchase.
They fit perfectly. I can hang it in my vehicle to always find it in the parking lots. or in my bag if I miss place it on a plane or bus. I can hook it to my kids clothes to locate them in the mall.
These are much better value than anything I found locally. I have used them on several sets of keys and one on my ruck backpack (which has seen a lot more abuse). The faces can see a little scratching but they are all holding up well after a month of use, the impact protection has been working.
The rings that come with these are easy to use for attaching to key rings or other loops, but it did not work for one car key fob as I couldn’t get the gate to close due to its design.
Overall these look good, work well, and are a great value.
These Air Tag holders are intense. They are very sturdy. The keyring is a bit heavier and industrial than it needs to be, but it won’t break. Getting the Air Tag situated in the holder takes a bit of effort, but once in place, the Air Tag is secure. If the holder with the Air Tag falls, there is no way the Air Tag is coming loose from the holder. The holder is a bit thicker than the Air Tag, thereby preventing Air Tag damage from a fall. If used as a keychain, the Air Tag may get scratched from other things it rubs against in your pocket or purse, as the holder does not provide a cover for the front and back of the Air Tag. It should be noted that it is difficult to tell the difference between the blue and green holder. Let’s be honest, these are meant to protect your Air Tags and not be a fashion statement. They are great for that purpose.
I like the product and would recommend it to others.
AirTag seems secure inside this holder. My only concern- and this seems to be a common design with these holders- is about the carabiner key ring. I could see that getting pressed open easily and the tag getting lost. The thick old-school threaded rings seem more secure to me (even though they’re a pain to get stuff on).
hey come with the rings, and rings are good quality. they also fit the air tag tightly, so you don’t risk to loss them. they just work
I still would prefer a more bulky and protective one for those exposed tags, e.g. the one attached to a bike that vibrates a lot.
I’ve tried a number of options for AirTags, some of which have resulted in losing the tags themselves. So far so good with these ones. Plus they add practically no bulk / weight which is great.
These are perfect for Apple AirTags. The AirTag doesn’t wiggle around and it is enclosed great in the case. I was surprised how snug it is and it snaps on really easy. I hope it will hold up as wear and tear happens.
These are beautifully designed however I wish I could buy individual accessories for them too, such as the wrist bands or different colours. They are so well made and strong, I’d recommend them unconditionally.
Update: the loop bended in my pocket. I did not do anything hardcore. It was sitting in my coat pocket and after returning home – noticed the loop was crooked. I was expecting it to be more stiff and not so easy to destroy. Can t recommend now;/
I got the case for the Apple AirTag I got for my luggage. It’s really easy to use as it just snaps together. Like the different colors. Highly recommend.
These clips came today. I’m planning to give these with some Airtags for Christmas presents, so I haven’t fully tested them yet. But I did fool with the keyring clip a good bit to get an idea of the quality, and it seems to be very good. The plastic portion is very tough feeling. I think it will not only hold up well, but will protect the Airtags. My only concern is the little ring that connects the rubber part and the keyring part. I think it may be the weakest link. Not saying it’s no good at all – just saying it’s not as strong as the other two parts. I may need to simply take that part out and hook the keyring directly to the plastic part. Time will tell how well these hold up, and I will update the review in the future.
