Extremely smooth user experience starting from the moment of unboxing. The screen tilting function is so great that I no more care it doesn’t have a built-in speaker or whatever.
Easy to assemble, does the job well, great for working from home.
This is a good quality unit especially for the price
I bought this as a replacement for a much older device for my mother-in-law’s PC and she is very pleased with it. The 1920 x1080 resolution is perfect for general office work, web browsing and catchup TV. The unit is smart to look at is perfectly stable on a desk. It comes with an HDMI and power cable so it’s easy to just plug in and go. The picture is bright and sharp with plenty of reserve for brightness adjustment if required. The frame rate is probably too low for a serious gamer, but at this price that’s definitely not the target market.
The only downside is the lack of built-in sound, so you will need to consider either a set of external speakers or a USB sound bar. I bought the HONKYOB USB Computer Speaker which does the job just fine without the usual rats nest of cables you get with a speaker set. And it fits very well under the front of the monitor so as not to take up too much extra desk space.
I bought 2 of these for my home office. It was a great decision.
If you have a high demand for graphics performance you might want something with a higher refresh rate, but for office work or programming and at that price… You can’t go wrong.
I use this for work not games or graphics so can’t talk about that.
Nice screen with thin bezels and bright and colourful. I like it. Seems to have plenty of adjustment so perfectly acceptable.
The stand is not adjustable for height and is quite short. Although it cam tilt.
The stand is quite sturdy so that’s good.
Has 3 plug ins, power, VGA and HDMI in the back so a bit short on peripherals but fine for me. It slots in the back straight in and not at some odd angle which makes it easy to set up. The power is not a kettle lead but an adaptor which slots in the back. The power lead is a bit short so could be an issue for some.
So for a cheap monitor for basic work, it’s perfectly fine. I would buy one again and would recommend it to a chum within its limitations and price bracket.
Want a 1080p monitor with a crisp image and not costing the earth? Then these are you go to in use within our business
I bought 2 of these monitors to use as secondary monitors to my main monitor for a total of 3 monitors. I am very happy with the quality of the monitors. Picture quaility is very good. I wouldn’t buy them for gaming, but if I had no other options they would be fine since they can run at 75Hz.
There is an issue with the cable connectivity/sensitivity. Sometimes you have to try several times to get the HDMI cable to work.
My son was exceptionally grateful for this, he says it’s much better than his friends pixl one.
Really good monitor, I brought it for my 12year old son for Christmas and the whole family was impressed, the screen and picture quality is so sharp
I’ll be buying a few more very soo
Great but. No audio… Hence the 4 stars. Did manage to get a hdmi to VGA that has an audio out so will see if that works when delivered. Has a game mode that definitely stops the latency. Still great picture for the gaming mode. Normal picture mode for YouTube etc is great! I use it as a monitor for my electric drum kit. So far so good. I recommend. Just get a vga to hdmi adapter that has the audio out port…
A very good product. Happy with picture quality. I had bought it for the display of our products but I could not use it because there was no space at the event so I need to find a stand for it for future use.
Have 2 of them for work purposes. One vertical and one horizontal. For work (I’m a software developer) these monitors are brilliant. Haven’t game on them.
The build quality is great and it has a very premium feel. The screen moves up and down and tilts.
I wanted a monitor to work from home with and for watching stuff on Netflix. I got more than I paid for.
I have had other monitors before including ASUS and HP but this model bits them all.
How the screen attaches to the stand is premium and the entire set up is minimalist.
Highly recommended.
I would happily buy a second one
so to sum up awesome screen just a ashame that there is no audio but actually thinking about getting my self one
Good size and good screen quality for home working, doc and conference calls. Not too bulky on the desk, just bear in mind there is no height adjustment though, not a problem for me as I have an adjustable stand or the alternative would be an arm. Very easy to install.
There is no audio, nor USB C connection but you can’t really expect that for 100 quid (I got this on Prime Day). Connects without a fuss through HDMI and I am using it as a second screen alongside the Mateview 28 inch which is a phenomenal screen albeit you will have to shell out a lot more for it.
Resolution is Full HD and does the job well. There is a fairly long HDMI cable included in the package but no other frills – none were expected.
I am quite happy with the product and rate it 5 stars for the value. As of summer 2022 nothing comes close to this screen in terms of value for money.
Overall it’s well built with a sturdy stand, it could be improved by having more than 1 HDMI port and better screen resolution if you like watching movies. It’s for my work purposes so based on the good price at the moment it’s perfect for what I need.
I got 2 of these screens at same time as a wfh setup. Both working great and love the picture quality.
Its been about 6 months now and one of them “fried”. I am trying now to find the cause of the issue but one stopped working completely.
I would still suggest the product as it may have been a faulty plug as the screens have been great and the other one works properly and at about 10-11h per day constantly on.
You should note: HDMI and VGA connectors, and no speakers. Also, the connectors are mounted on the back of the monitor, so your cables will stick out, rather than pointing down.
120 (each) seems like a pretty reasonable price to have paid, so I’m very happy with them.
when playing games it seems to struggle a little with frame rate dips. using a laptop but, the resolution is same despite being a larger screen.. not sure why this is and im not confident that its the monitors fault.
other than this issue (which could entirely be a fault of my laptop) its amazing.
The colours are decent out of the box but I did change a few settings around to get a more defined colour grade from the screen
I do like Huawei products and this is a good IPS screen for the price of an average VA screen
The only issue that I see with the screen (which doesn’t affect me) is how the screen is mounted meaning that there may be some issues if I decided to use a VESA arm mount etc
