I didn’t dislike this enough to give less than 4 stars. I love the look of this product, I found it easy to pair and set up. The sound isn’t the best I’ve heard and the charging function is handy for a little boost but not much. I would say this is a little pricey.
good size to comfortably move around. Can’t wait for the summer so I’ll use it in the garden all the time while having a bbq. Sound wise, it’s not the best. I’d say that for the price it’s expensive for what it is and I’d expect better quality. So overall it’s just ok
I have just bought an iPhone 14 PRO and I have to say generally I am quite impressed with the Sound Quality of the Speaker. I don’t tend to sit and watch Videos on my phone for any long duration, other than when I am in the Kitchen getting my Dinner Ready. It’s only really then that when the Microwave is Humming, or the Air Fryer knocking out a low but loud rumble do I struggle to hear the Sound, but this is really the only time this Dock really appeals to me. And I have to say it does a decent job of it. The 6W Stereo speakers give it enough of a BOOST to clearly hear Netflix or whatever it is I am watching and the Blu Tooth Pairing is quick and easy to use. The phone sits perfectly on the Dock and is almost exactly the same size, so looks like it is made for it. Overall I am quite pleased.
This product is a combination of a bluetooth speaker, wireless charging and the option of connecting a player using the aux cable.
The build in quality I would say it is fine, it is made from solid plastic with a nice material on top and black matte rubber which makes it stable on any surface and also the phone holder has a good grip.
What I find to be interesting and slightly annoying at the same time is the fact that to charge the phone there is a button at the back that has to be switched on and off and what happened is the following, the phone was charging and i was also listing to music for long hours and unfortunately at one point the speaker stopped working because it`s own battery ran out. Probably I would prefer to have that button somewhere at the front because I am keep forgetting about it.
One the other hand, it is pretty nice to have to option of charging the phone without having to use the cable.
The sound quality I would say it is pretty decent considering the price of this speaker, depending on what I am listing to, sometimes I say ,wooow, this is great, something it is average.
What I do from time to time is plug the aux cable(which is included in the box) to my mp3 player and I admit, I like this feature a lot because I dont have to connect all the time using bluetooth to play music.
The battery lasts for roughly 2 days when I used it to charge the phone for around 30 min and listen to music for maybe 3 h at medium level so also from this point of view everything is fine with the product!!
Overall, practical speaker with good functions.
I recently tried the i-Box Portable Bluetooth Speaker Dock with 10W Fast Wireless Charging, Enhanced 6W Stereo Speakers, a Large 5,000mAh Battery for up to 18 Hours of Playback, and a Docking Station Speaker for iPhone and Android. I was really impressed with the quality of the sound and the power of the speaker. It has great bass and a very clear sound. Connecting my phone via Bluetooth was easy, and the playback was very good.
The dock also has a 10W fast wireless charging option, which was really useful for my iPhone. It also has a large 5,000mAh battery that can last for up to 18 hours of playback. I really liked the convenience of charging my phone and using the speaker without having to plug it in.
The docking station is compatible with both iPhones and Android phones. The sound quality is great and the speaker can get quite loud. The speaker also has a nice design, with a sleek black finish that looks good in any room.
Here are some tips on how to use this product:
Make sure to charge the speaker and your device before use.
Use the Bluetooth connection to stream audio from your device.
Adjust the volume and bass levels to get the sound you want.
Use the 10W fast wireless charging option to quickly charge your device.
Enjoy up to 18 hours of playback time with the large 5,000mAh battery.
Overall, I liked this product and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good quality portable Bluetooth speaker with great sound and convenience.
I am loving and hating this is equal measure. Appearance wise, it is lovely and functional too it works great. It was easy to pair and the sound quality is super for a box this size. Aesthetically it looks fantastic and a phone nestles perfectly on the little lip. If you want to sit and watch films on your phone, you cant go wrong with this.
Things I don’t like:- The speech prompts are very loud when it switches on and off. Each power cycle it announces it’s pairing message. It goes to sleep quite quickly when not in use, which is annoying when I used it with my desktop PC.
As a little desktop charger, it works fine, though very dependant on the power adapter you choose. When running standalone, unsurprisingly it isn’t great, but is enough to keep up with your phones discharge when watching a film away from a power point.
Well I’m super impressed with this Bluetooth speaker docking station because it works brilliantly and is so easy to set up and use. I really like the design of it and it has great functionality as it has wireless charging built in too. The charging is fast for my iPhone and it works without any issues. The speaker and sound quality is by far the best thing about it as it’s got a fab deep bass and clear crisp sound that doesn’t distort even at full volume. It can handle my drum and bass tunes easily anyway! The speaker is good quality and built well because it’s strong, sturdy and durable plus it’s lightweight and portable too. The battery life is much better than I expected and it’s easy for me to charge. I found it easy to connect up the Bluetooth and I feel it’s got a decent range on it. I’ve not had any issues with using it and it’s going to be awesome for me to take travelling with me. I think the value for money is outstanding and i highly recommend it! It’s well worth getting and very giftable too!
Surprisingly great sound for such a compact bluetooth speaker:dock, I’ve had Bluetooth speakers before and have not been satisfied with the quality of sound or volume control, but this has been brilliant, excellent volume level.
You can adjust volume on the top of the speaker via the +/- buttons, but here is also a play/pause button too for quick control, pairing and connecting the speaker to my iPhone was so easy and very quick to do, the little blue light on the bottom flashes when connecting and then it speaks to say Bluetooth is connected.
Comes with charging usb cable for recharging making this a brilliant little portable speaker you can take anywhere, also hazel the Aux connection port and cable jack.
This one is a little different to others I’ve had, it has a ledge for docking your phone on, feels like a non slip material, everything about this feels very strong, durable, well made, compact and lightweight.
Good amount of playtime hours from one charge, I can’t remember how long it took to recharge but it’s pretty good too.
Very happy with this 10/10
I have to say I am pretty impressed with this speaker.
Compact and lightweight it is ideal for travel! I was really surprised at the volume it managed to reach and the quality of the sound for the current price of 27.99! The fact it doubles up as a phone stand and wireless charger too are fab. No cables needed as phone pairs via bluetooth, which I found reliable with no dropping out. I will certainly be taking this with me on my next holiday to play some music and charge my phone whilst I get ready in the evenings.
There is also an aux connection on the rear and the unit can be charged with the supplied USB cable easily, but I shouldn’t need to whilst away as there is around 18 hours of use on a single charge. The device is smart looking and the buttons on the top are practical and do not take the clean look of the device away.
This speaker is also great for watching movies on due to the phone stand and angle, wonderful for watching yoga videos too.
Highly recommended, my friend has already purchased one after she saw mine in action.
This arrived in a great branded box and is well presented – suitable as a present. The main unit is simplicity in itself, Bluetooth connection a breeze and charging is even simpler. It is good to see products that are British Made in the current climate and I really wanted this to fare well.
The sound is OK however, not really up to my expectations. The sound is slightly under par to the well know ‘legendary’ brand – part of a huge parent company, that the i-Box is replacing. That said, the performance of its predecessor was not exactly legendary cuts out intermittently after 10 mins and only 2 years old!.
On the i-Box there is an aux in and usb – C charge port at the back with respective cables supplied along with a charging on/off slider. There are 2 lights on base, one for wireless charging and one for power and on the top there are 4 basic function buttons clearly placed for easy of use.
This I-box is great for outdoor moments or holiday and does have the added bonus of the charging facility. My pet hate are phone speakers, so anything other than that is a fantastic improvement. The stand allows you to angle the phone slightly if not charging, to view easily. It would have been good to be able to adjust the small shelf at the front for this and/or have a lip, so that it will not slip off if you are trying to follow a recipe on the kitchen worktop. The small angle range means that I need to put the speaker on a few books to view the phone screen properly or separate the two. Also, I think that small rubber feet on the base would help avoid picking up dust/dirt as it is obviously touching the surface it is on.
At 27.99 it is just over a third of the price of my previous and to be fair, not that far behind – and it does have charging thrown in too. Looking back at my previous use with these, it has always been away from home or temporary use in the kitchen or shower as I usually connect to other superior sound systems at home. For occasional use around the home or travelling I think this would be fine but could be perfect – with a few tweaks.
I’m yet to find a smartphone that has anything close to decent sound from their internal speakers. They’re getting better, but still have quite a way to go. Headphones offer much better fidelity. The other options include Bluetooth speakers, which is what we are looking at here.
This speaker arrives in a retail box along with a USB charge lead, 3.5mm audio lead, and some instructions. Most of the controls are along the top of the unit. There are four buttons here and they are:
Power On/Off
Play/Pause
Volume Down/Prev Track
Volume Up/Next Track
On the back of the unit, theirs is a USB-C charging socket, a 3.5mm Auxiliary In socket, and a slide switch that turns the wireless charging function on or off. The front of the unit is slights raked back and a small shelf that can hold a smartphone in place. If the smartphone has a wireless charging function, then charging will start as soon as you place the phone in place.
The sound output is more than acceptable with a reasonable level of bass. Volume is quite good, but don’t expect to hold a disco with it. The Bluetooth is easy to pair, and the signal is locked solid. Mind you, what would you expect when the devices are so close together.
The speaker has its own internal battery, making it very portable. It can, however, run off a USB power source and charge at the same time.
Overall, useful dual-purpose speaker and charger. I hope that helps.

Yes you can marginally better sounding speakers at this price point, but the form factor and the built in wireless charging of this makes up for that. Not to say this sounds bad, it doesn’t, it’s pretty good for the size and price, plenty of volume for sitting in the garden, summerhouse or around the house, and having the built in charger and stand means watching the news or something on YouTube, or having a video call etc is really simple
Hope my review was helpful
For its size and price, the sound quality of this speaker is pretty good. It connects easily and quickly via bluetooth, and I’ve had no issues with dropped or unreliable connections.
It has a shelf on its front designed to support a mobile phone, and this holds the phone in position over the induction coil for wireless charging. This is the unit’s party trick, meaning it can double up as both a speaker and a wireless portable charger. It’s not the world’s fastest charger, but as an added benefit of what is actually a pretty decent speaker, it’s well worth having this capability.
Pretty good value for 27.99.
For the price I think it’s fair it’s not going to blow you away sound wise but it gets loud and has decent bass, it is however very slow to charge your phone however I leave mine on charge over night and for that use case it is perfect, for the money I think this is spot on as you get both a wireless charger and a portable Bluetooth speake
Hi, it’s a good dock, connects really easy, wireless charge works fine even through my thick case, good battery size, I just feel the sound is just ok, I have other docks and speakers so in comparison it’s not as good, I do like it and it will definitely be in our camping trip cargo as it’s still a good dock with good features
As an actual Bluetooth, this was very good. Firstly it was quick to set up on my Huawei phone – something that hasn’t always been the case. For a cheaper speaker, I was also impressed with the sound quality; the bass is pretty strong though the treble is exposed with higher-pitched music. When it comes to the wireless charging part of the product, it falls down; I tried it on my wife’s Samsung S22 and it took a long time to charge. When disconnected from the mains, it also drops the Bluetooth signal a little more, as if the power consumption cannot deal with the task. As a full package, though, this was surprisingly good; very reasonably priced, good sound but there are a few caveats that stop it getting 5 stars.
It sounds pretty loud and clear for a portable speaker, I like the idea that it serves two purposes, easily paired with my iPhone 14pro and pro max and seems automatically connect all the time. I love to charge my phone with it while listening to my favourite songs!
If you’ve got a wireless charging mobile phone, your going to love this little inexpensive bluetooth speaker. I was delighted to receive this and really impressed with its size, portability and features. IT does not fill the room with exceptional sound, but it adds a whole new dimension to tinny mobile speakers.
The features are really well thought out and well planned. The speaker allows you to simply turn on the bluetooth, pair and connect your phone and it will automatically connect each time you turn the speaker on if the phone is withing range.
Best thing is, you can place the phone on the speaker front and use it as a phone stand giving you the ideal viewing angle for the screen when watching films or videos. IF you don’t want to use bluetooth, there is also an included patch lead allowing you to link your phone headphone output to the speaker.
The other great feature is … it will charge wirelessly your phone all the while its on the front stand! brilliant idea, assuming your phone provides wireless charging. Best of all, this happens using the speakers built in back up battery that recharged via USB.
So many excellent features at a great price. Ok, the sound is not as good as a Bose soundlink, or some other more expensive bluetooth systems, but its good enough to fill the room with quality sound that’s clear, albeit, without that pounding bass. Some people might be glad of that!
A great buy from a well thought out British company. I’m happy to give a resounding recommendation for this product and think it will find favour with many people.
This is quite a handy speaker with the ability to act as a phone charger whether cabled or wireless. It has a decent lithium battery that can be used to charge your phone when camping.
It paired easily and well with my Samsung phone via Bluetooth it has a decent volume for 6 watts but lacks bass .. it comes well packaged and includes a usb cable.. setting up took minutes and charging a couple of hours ..
The sound quality is not going to blow your mind but it is decent enough for use around the house and the fact that it dosen’t need to be kept plugged in is a real bonus for taking it out in the garden.
The phone charging aspect is handy too and it charges as quick as the average wireless charger even whilst playing music so overall it is a useful speaker / charger and will be getting a lot of use.
This device is a good bluetooth speaker with a great sound and also acts as a phone stand and wireless charger. It itself is charged using a USB C cable and there is a switch on the back to turn the wireless charging off for when it is not needed. It paired easily to the phone and gives a much better output than the phone speakers. There are handy buttons on top for power, pause/play and volume up and down. Handy for angling the phone for watching a movie or similiar. The speaker seems to keep its charge quite well and also charged my phone wirelessly with no issues. A well designed and made device.
For thirty quid, this seems like a decent acquisition if you’re in the market for a mini bluetooth speaker.
The speaker comes boxed in a branded cardboard box. It all looks good and feels like a step up from a lot of the other Chinese made, market place tat that is found on Amazon. Yes, this is clearly Chinese made, but there has been care and attention put into the design and translations on the box and in the instructions manual. The marketing states that these i-box products are British designed. There clearly is an influence in the manufacturing and the instructions are pretty much word perfect. A welcome change from a lot of other products that you might be tempted to purchase.
The speaker itself, lokks and feels good. It is made like a lot of other speakers are these days – with a fabric exterior and large plastic buttons. It has the look of a much higher end speaker. On the top, there are four big buttons – on/off, play/pause, volume up and volume down. On the back, there is one large switch to turn wireless charging on or off.
To get the podium 2 speaker ready, it was a really simple process of turning t on, heading into my phones bluetooth settings and connecting it. It was really as simple as that. It connected to my iPhone 13 Pro Max immediately and without the need for any passkeys. When you turen the device on, there is a voice that tells you you are powered on and connecting. There are also two lights on the bottom of the unit.
The speaker is also able to wirelessly charge your compatible phone. I tested it with an iPhone 13 Pro Max and an iPhone 13 mini. It worked flawlessly with both handsets. Be aware that this isn’t Magsafe charging. It doesn’t have the magnetic capability and is therefore, only wireless charging. My iPhone 13 Pro Max has a big battery, so I wouldn’t want to rely on this for charging and as a speaker. I suspect that the battery wouldn’t last too long in this instance. I suggest that this is better used for just playing music.
As a speaker this is.okay to decent. You’re never going to get audiophile sound from this, but it’s decent enought for casual listening. The speaker is very loud, but I did find that it was sounding strained beyond half volume. As I turned it up, it started to sound a bit tinny and painful on the ears. When I kept it at half volume, this is where I found it sounded best. I find it a really useful speaker for watching YouTube when I’m lying in the bath. It boosts the iPhones internal speaker and allows for more comfortable listening.
To conclude, I was pretty impressed with this little speaker. No, the sound isn’t the best as the volume gets higher. But for the price, I wouldn’t expect much more from this. I think you could do a lot, lot worse than this in this price bracket. Happy to recommend.
