I bought this processor (i5 13600K) to go with the NZXT H1 V2 small form factor case paired with a ASUS TUF 4070 OC graphics card, great performance and remains cool at around 45-55 degrees centigrade while playing AAA games at max settings with raying tracing enabled.
There is though a problem I would like to draw your attention to, not an issue with the processor itself. Rather a problem with the lga1700 mounting/retainer on the motherboard. It is far too tightly fitting, putting excessive pressure on both back and front edge of the cpu, with a real (and well documented) risk of bending the cpu. This is easily overcome with an aftermarket cpu retainer, for less than 10.00 thremalrite supply one that allows even well distributed pressure to hold cpu in place without this risk.
Good price on amazon, prime delivery and processor performs very well, I do kinda wish I’d gone for the i7 as the price difference has closed up a lot but I’m still happy with this.

The CPU does not come with a fan and you need a good one! If you are going to run this thing flat out, make sure you keep it cool. Don’t spend only 30 on a cheap fan!
This CPU is very good i upgraded from an i9 9900k and this CPU is actually much faster I would recommend an 5600 ram though to pair with this because of it been a newer CPU I did notice a 5600 ram ran fine on with this CPU also the ram has to be ddr5 not ddr4 just so there’s no issues go for the i5 version if upgrading from a older gen CPU because the i5 is actually fast saves money on electricity and also it saves money having to go spend alot on the i7 or i9 then if you choose the i5 version a 850 psu will be just fine I definitely would recommend this version though

It’s very cool, low power usage and very powerful and fast, it’s an i5 which makes it perfect for gaming, odd video creating etc.

Excellent processeur. Je l’ai achet pour aller avec une carte mre Z690, 32 Go DDR4 3200mt CL16, une RTX 3070 Ti coupls un ventirad Dark Rock Pro 4 (bequiet!) dans le boitier Silent Base 802 et aliment par une Be quiet Straight Power 11 850 W.
J’avais un i7-8700K avant, trs peu ventil soit dit en passant, et la transition est impressionnante.
Je fais tourner Resident Evil 4 REMAKE autours de 80-130 fps en 1440p Ultra avec Ray Tracing (et un mode DLSS qualit qui remplace le AMD fsr) et le processeur ne dpasse pas les 68 (autours de 35% d’utilisation).
Je suis galement pass de ~160 fps sur TF2 en ultra +300 fps en 1440p. Sur CSGO je suis autours de 300-400 fps suivant les maps en ultra 1440p, et autours de 70-90 fps sur Darktide.
Meilleur processeur en terme de rapport qualit/prix actuellement.
I don’t know how many cores I need. You probably don’t either, no offence. There’s certainly a bit of the black arts going on with sales of these things. What I do know is that this is a beast, like an industrial forklift. It carries anything I give it. Mention has been made, by previous contributors, about using a water cooled system. I don’t and I won’t, and this runs well with a Noctua NH-D15, admittedly expensive, but keeps temps around 70C, not much over, for anything I’m doing with it. I have slightly undervolted it as well, just to help with that. I’ve used this cooler on a previous system and it is well worth the money, if you have it, and it can fit in your case.
I’ve decided not to overclock. It’s easy, but according to tests, the payoff is not worth the extra power consumption. It’s very much diminishing returns. I’ve overclocked a few chips before, to their maximum extent, and they put out about the same temps as this does, without overclocking. So, it has the potential to be pretty hot. For the extra power consumption, and cooling noise, I’m not doing it. And I don’t feel that I need to, to be honest.
I do little bits of everything, gaming, photo, video conversion. I’m very pleased with this chip. It’s running Windows 11 without any effort, with decent RAM and an M2 drive, it’s about as swift as you can imagine. The whole setup (and I know it is the combined efforts of all the parts) is ready to go at a moments notice. It’s the most professional setup I’ve had, over the course of 4 Pcs and a laptop.
One thing to mention is, I use it with an MSI Z690A mainboard, which was created before the chip itself, and therefore didn’t recognise the chip until the bios was flashed. This required the procedure to be done ‘blind’ so to speak, without any onscreen visuals. The mainboard allowed for this, but it was new to me. I would make sure your mainboard has this facility, a specific USB port for this and a bios flash button. Maybe they all do, but it was not something I ever thought about previously.
Fine CPU, good value for money, works as expected, no installation/operational issues.
Very pleased I went for this CPU for my new build. Wanted to build something for gaming, emulation, general use and basic media work – a bit of an all rounder and this fits the bill perfectly.
Using it in a SFF case – a NZXT H1 V2 and it stays nice and cool whatever I throw at it without the cooler having to ramp up high.
Was initially hesitant going from an i7 from a few generations ago, but I’m glad I did, this is simply great and a good price.
Its fast. Its overkill. I got it at 279 in the sale… futureproofed for the next 10 years.
It installed like every other cpu. there were no issues. its dead fast. it doesn’t come with a cooler, make sure you buy a beefy cooler. I went for an AIO 240mm (and recommend the Deepcool ls540), but a massive tower cooler will also work very well.

A good processor for a middle of the road PC build .
Ho preso questo processore tenendo conto soprattutto del rapporto prestazioni/dissipazione termica che avendo optato per un radiatore ad aria doveva rimanere entro i 200W. Sapevo che gli ultimi processori erano molto performanti ma questo mi ha lasciato a bocca aperta. La mia necessit era di codificare video in H265 e sono passato (stessi settaggi di HandBrake) dai 11 FPS (Xeon 3.46 GHz 6 core) ai 100 FPS di questo qui.
I test della iGPU integrata sono un po’ deludenti se paragonati a quelle discrete (niente di inaspettato) ma se la potenza di calcolo che vi serve il 13600K non tradir le aspettative, anche se si tratta di un i5 non minimamente messo in imbarazzo da fratelli i7 ed i9 della stessa generazione.
Pi che per il prodotto in se, che e fa quanto descritto, una recensione per l’azienda che ha venduto il prodotto. Arrivato entro i termini descritti in condizioni perfette. Non facile da trovare su amazon ed ad un buon prezzo. Complimenti.
Ho acquistato questo processore per aggiornare il mio sistema e sono rimasto molto soddisfatto delle prestazioni che ho ottenuto. Il processore si dimostrato molto veloce e reattivo, con un clock base di 3,5 GHz e una frequenza turbo massima di 5,1 GHz. Ho notato un significativo aumento delle prestazioni del mio sistema in diverse attivit, come il gaming, la modifica video e il multitasking.
Il processore si anche dimostrato abbastanza efficiente dal punto di vista energetico, con un TDP di 125 watt. Ho notato che il sistema rimaneva fresco anche durante l’utilizzo intensivo, grazie anche al dissipatore di calore in dotazione.
Inoltre, il processore compatibile con le schede madri basate su socket LGA 1700, quindi stato facile da installare nel mio sistema.
In sintesi, il processore Intel Core i5-10600K un’ottima scelta per chi cerca prestazioni elevate e affidabilit. Lo consiglio vivamente.

Accoppiato con m2 990 pro della Samsung e 64 giga di ram ddr5 CL32 da 6400 mhz, il pc sta volando.

Processor for gaming is great give about 20% more fps than a amd3900x. It loads significantly slower into windows though even with a 7700mbs drive. So good and bads. Easy to install, just match the arrows on cpu and mb. Check manufacturer of mb to make sure bios update from z690mb done before cpu in or you can update from usb drive.
Socle de ma nouvelle plateforme ce petit monstre est splendide, chauffe un peu mais pas pire que les 2 prcdentes gnrations et les performances single core et multi core remplissent tous mes besoins en gaming et plus.
Lors de l’utilisation d’applis de bureau peu demandeuses et pour la navigation il dort tranquillement sous les 45 et un systme avec une confortable dotation de ventilateur sera absolument silencieux.

Mais pour ceux qui ont un peu de temps avant de devoir changer de systme attendent quelques mois que le prix baisse.
un proc au top en attente d’une carte graphique j’arrive dj malgr l’absence de GPU faire tourn pas mal de “petit” jeu sans souci ( waven, minecraft, valorant ) c’est un super proc niveau prix aussi je l’ai buy pendant les soldes 36x euro ce prix l il est juste au dessus de tout les autres proc !
Je tourne Cyberpunk 120FPS en ultra combin une RTX 3070. Bref, n’attendez plus et prenez le mme pas besoin du i7 pour du gaming ou mme streaming le 13600K est un monstre !!!!!
Attenzione alla compatibilit delle motherboard. Malgrado le schede madri serie Z690 supportano questo processore, necessario un aggiornamento del BIOS, che pu essere problematico se non avete a disposizione un processore di 12esima generazione con cui fare l’upgrade del BIOS (o, in alternativa, la vostra motherboard deve supportare il BIOS flashback tramite pennetta USB anche senza CPU).

For an i5 it’s fast I.e responsive opening files windows just feels fast overall. Gaming it’s amazing considering again its an i5 had no issues gaming and streaming. Overall value for money
