Before I purchased I read all reviews and noticed a pattern of complaints regarding noise. I left our fridge 24 hours ( not necessary) before I turnt it on but that was just circumstances for me. Runs beautifully. Obviously only had a few weeks but so far so good. No noise, cools lovely and looks banging.

This is a great little fridge and looks really smart in place. The only problem I had was that the door hinge made the fridge slightly taller than expected so it wont go under the counter where I had measured the space, so make sure you allow for that when measuring up. 😉 But great otherwise.

It works and it’s cheap. Quiet and looks decent. Only gripe is the vegetable box, which is more or less useless as spacial capacity is wanting.

Lots of space for a 93L fridge very quiet as well considering i use it for the bedroom as longs as u let the fridge settle for 4 hrs before u turn it on. Doesnt take up too much space which was one of the mean worries i had with i

The product is fine unfortunately their was some damage to the fridge on delivery.
a small dent to the side of the fridge and the door hinge was found to be
faulty initially not being able to close the door as the bolt holding it had been
knocked and bent. We managed to straiten it out and the door now closes ok.
if this had not been a work fridge and one for the home, I would have had to return it.
The fridge itself is Ok and does th job well.

This is a very quiet fridge. Its not very big. But its big enough for me. I am very pleased with it.. The little freezer box is really handy… On the whole a nice neat fridge.. Stay safe

I think the noise level is quite low – which is just as well as it switches on/off quite regularly. I only marked the energy efficiency as 3 because I run this fridge on a boat from a 12V leisure battery via an inverter, so it’s not possible to compare it. Nor do I use the freezer compartment as I use the boat only periodically. I researched the market before choosing this fridge and am very pleased with it’s performance.

Used this whilst camping last week. Kept everything nice and cool especially the beer, milk, wine and salads. The freezer area although small did its job keeping sausages and some meat products frozen. Very quite and despite the heat had no problems. We found it big enough for our needs.

Great little fridge. Not totally silent but its right next to my head in my bedroom and doesn’t wake me on compressor startup.
I run it through an inverter and solar/battery system and it only pulls maybe 160 watts overnight.
Once its cold the compressor only kicks on for about a minute every 10 mins.
Only thing its missing is a light inside for the midnight snack runs, but i was aware that it didn’t have one so can’t complain too much about that.

The fridge fits beneath the counter really well. It cools nicely and the freezer has space enough to keep two packets of frozen veggies. Delivery was before mentioned time which I didn’t expect. No one was home during that time, so they deliver it to neighbors whom we didn’t know (we recently moved). This created lots of confusion. It would be great if the delivery time is near the expected delivery time.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI use this as a drinks cooler for 1L bottles and for some more perishable food items, oranges and apples mainly.
The noise level is practically non-existent, except for when the cooling motor kicks in for a minute or two at a time, only an issue if it is in a bedroom or living area, and where you put it.
The energy efficiency is as rated there has barely been any uptick in monthly energy usage.
The storage is good for the size of the machine, I removed the wire shelf to allow the bottles to stand upright and was still left with a reasonably large amount of space for other items.
Lastly, the freezer compartment works very well but is rather small, the ice build-up while not quick does mean that following the de-icing instructions in the user manual will be a must.

I have the 43 liter silver. Perfect for my studio for storing cold drinks, milk and snacks. If you let it sit in the position you want to keep it for a few hours, align the legs (which are more like two large screws at the base) and switch on without putting anything in it for 24 hours it will work perfectly. No noise at all if you follow the instructions. Gas needs to settle and the 24 hour period is for circulation within the unit. I love this and would recommend it 100 per cent.

Exactly what I was looking for! A small efficient fridge for my boat. There is enough space for the essentials inside and it does get really cold, I have had to turn it down to the 2nd position. It does seem to come on and off a lot more than I expected, so not sure why it’s so Energy efficient, but so far so good.

Door is completely useless, anything you put in just falls over when you move the door and needs a complete re-design.
Ice box basically eliminates the right hand side of the top shelf being able to store most things.

Decent drinks cooler for a few beers as shown, not much more than tha

In terms of capability to provide low temperature, inclusion of small freezer box, and very low noise levels, this fridge more than meets my expectations. The door can be hung either way, and in the under-desk space we have, where the fridge protrudes about an inch out from the desk, the door pivots freely even when that side of the fridge is flush with the desk end panel. Wife uses this for her beauty products and overnight drink and is happy. The one omission I can see is that there is no internal light, but that is unnecessary for our application.

Golden Review Award: 10 From Our UsersWell, so far I have suffered none of the aforementioned noise/shudder problems !
Why….? Because I did that rare thing for a man, I read the manual first. It clearly states that you must wait at least 4 hours BEFORE you plug it into the mains. This allows the fluids/gases to settle properly. I gave it 4.5 hours and it has worked perfectly with no complications or noises since.

5.0 out of 5 stars Do NOT plug it in straight away!

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersAs you can see from the picture, I can fit all of the following in the fridge section at one time with the door closing… 12 x 355ml of beer (box), 1 x 500ml beer, 6 x 400ml cans of cider, 5 x 330ml bottles of beer, 6 x 330 ml Cola, 2 x 1L cartons of milk, 1 x 1L carton of juice, 1 x tub of butter, 1 x pre-made coffee cup.
I am extremely happy and fits everything I would want to store in my mini-fridge.
I have this in my office/movie-game room and we have found the fridge very quite even the rare recooling sounds are very subtle and not distracting.
I have mine set to the number 1 setting and everything is perfectly chilled.

Fits loads in. Very energy efficient. Really happy.

Bought during lockdown- my main fridge didn’t sound too good, so I wanted an extra one that I could put in the living room (and be able to lift myself).
Keeps everything lovely and cold- I have a digital thermometer in there and always 3-4 degrees, yet not even on the coldest setting. plenty of space- I usually keep some fizzy drink cans, a 500ml water bottle, margarine and similar sized items in there. top shelf is quite deep for larger items.
Nice and quiet, you just hear an occasional sound when its compressor kicks in.
I live on the first floor and managed to get it upstairs ok myself- I doubt I’d have been able to manage the next size up so very glad I choose this one.
can’t recommend it enough, very glad I bought it.

My 11 year old saved up to buy this fridge for his bedroom. It might be silent, or he just sleeps through any noise it may make, because we’ll, he’s 11. He absolutely loves having his only little drinks fridge.
The only problem I have found was a dent on the back edge of the fridge. It doesn’t seem to be impacting the function as of yet so I haven’t sent it back as my son doesn’t want to go without one now. However I would like a replacement if the company were able to send a new one and collect this one at the same time?

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIt arrived in two days!
It was light with good space (considering that it’s a mini-fridge it has a good space).
Every time I close the door I have to check if it’s closed properly and if it’s not I just have to push a little bit more .. It’s the one thing that I always have to remember: to check the proper closure of the door.. it seems that it’s closed, but if I look down over it sometimes I can see a little space left and the light of the fridge on .. it Durant compromise the cold inside that much … but the light stays on .. so I just have to push it better to close it properly .. I don’t know if it’s just my door that is doing that or if it’s a characteristic of the way this fridge door is mounted .. but this is the only bit negative side that I have seen .. I just have to pay attention every time I close the door and it’s fine .. The inside it’s OK and the freezer small but efficient .. In the all it’s a good value for money .. so far so good!

This fridge was purchased to replace a similar sized one that my elderly father uses to keep his beer cool in his “man cave”. It works well and is quiet in operation. I was delivered quickly, ordered Saturday evening, delivered 9am Sunday morning via Amazon Prime Day Delivery. It would have been nice to have an option of not having an ice compartment, hence only 4 stars for storage capacity. But the ice compartment is a generous size for anybody who wants an ice compartment.

I had been looking for a small fridge for my office to keep milk/lunches in throughout the week and this works just great.

Has a nice finish to it and holds more than a few cans of coke in it which is great for me, I tend to keep milk/soup/sandwiches and fruit juice in there throughout the week and it serves the purpose just fine. Not too noisy either, every now and then it let’s you know it’s still working but to be honest nothing you really pick up on and silent otherwise.

All in all a good little fridge. Not overly loud as previous reviews and arrived undamaged as where it seemed from other buyers reviews this had previously been a problem with insufficient packaging.

One sticking point (literally!)…. the door is very stiff to close its final couple of inches where the inside door tray catches on the inside wall of the fridge. Clearly a manufacturing oversight so 1 star less I’m afraid. If not shut firmly the door will stay ajar and the fridge will not keep things cool sufficiently

I love that my Inventor mini fridge is super quiet and also A++ rated for energy efficiency. I’m puzzled why other reviewers said it wasn’t quiet — after a click when it turns on, it is whisper quiet while the motor is running. It would be perfect for a dorm room, but light sleepers might not want to place it next to their bed. It’s exactly what I needed. It’s attractive and well designed but I wish that the motor area on the back of the fridge had a screen over it to keep out dust. I know it needs to be ventilated but a window screen-type covering would help keep the motor clean. Other than that, I’m completely satisfied and would highly recommend this little fridge.

Golden Review Award: 13 From Our UsersI live on a narrowboat so can’t just pop down to the shops, which makes cold storage important. I also need to use my electrical power economically as I generate it all myself. That was why I was attracted to the A++ classification of this fridge. What also excited me was the idea of a real 4* freezer compartment (previously I had had just a “cool box” compartment, incapable of freezing and borderline with keeping things frozen). Installation was a breeze, helped by the removable top cover. When installed under a counter depending on your arrangement it may not sit back flush due to the location of the hinge pivot point. Also as the freezer door is hinged on the right and is not repositionable, if you rehang the main door on the left you need to ensure space for it to open fully so the freezer door can also open and swing free. No big deal, but worth being aware of. Performancewise I am more than pleased. The larder section is very adequate, with a good sized vegetable/chill box at the bottom and two shelves. It holds a very good temperature in the larder space (tested with a thermometer) at only 2-3 on the dial, and the freezer box really does freeze! I’ve frozen down fresh chicken pieces and other foods, and kept pre-frozen ones solid – now I can have Magnum ice-cream whenever I want 🙂 Oh and decent ice for my G&Ts! So far it seems to be at least as economic as my previous fridge, probably actually better, and given it has a real freezer that’s impressive. The only “down” point was that somewhere in its transport one of the adjustable feet got damaged, but Inventor were very quick (and very apologetic) in getting a replacement sent. All in all I’m very very happy with my choice – it’s more expensive than others but definitely worth every penny extra.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our Usersexcellent product.
Did get concerned when I read in the manual ‘it may be necessary to set the thermostat to maximal cooling (MAX )when there are high ambient temperatures.’ This would to me imply that it does not have an effective thermostat but it does seem to have one.
Initial tests show control at 3 to 4 C with thermostat set just below ‘med’. At this setting energy consumption has been 0.25 Kw-hr per day which is just a little lower than the rate shown in the technical details. Current consumption when running 0.54 amp.
Quiet running with a only a bit of a click when the compressor starts and stops.
Holds 4 bottles of wine in door.
Only down side is that it could benefit from an extra shelf.

Golden Review Award: 19 From Our UsersSo far everything I had hoped for , having worked right from the word Go. – and looking Far classier than online. I have this in my studio-flat [ kitchen /bed-living .room ], and I’m not disturbed by the sound at all. I knew the LIMITED SPACE I was buying , and I knew that the little freezer-box had a ‘flap-lid ‘ rather than a solid Door : SO, I got exactly what I ordered , as described online. In perfect order and beautiful to ( sit and ) look at , especially at such a market-reasonable price- ( the lowest I could find ). If it continues to work for the next year or so without problems , I would HIGHLY RECOMMEND this Half – a – Fridge : AS LONG AS you’re fully aware of the ACTUAL (limited) space in such table-top fridges generally , this one should hopefully make you as HAPPY as it has me***** [ added review : Knew I would forget something : TEMPERATURE! I have this mini-fridge on level 3, out of a possible maximum of 6 , and the milk cartons and jars stored within it are VERY COLD .* 2nd added review : now had for a month , and need to add that, full of food and Working in the warmer temperatures, this half-fridge DOES make SOME noises: NOT bad, but definitely Noticeable. Very impressed with this. I bought to use in my office as I don’t want to use the communal fridge. Good size. I keep soup, milk, butter, water bottles and cans in there with plenty more space. The ice box part doesn’t work like a freezer, it’s perhaps slightly lower than 0c so it will freeze but not like the -18 you get with proper ones.

It’s not noisy like others have said. You can hear it kick in and out but it’s perfectly normal and fine.

The best part is the price. I was looking at mini fridges and for 15L, you’re looking to pay 50 anyway, so instead of the thermo-electric coolers, go for this as it is specifically made to keep perishables.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersI had written below review and was contacted promptly by the seller. I explained to them what the problem was and sent them a full description. Although initially they asked for pictures, they then contacted me and said they would forward a new fridge at no cost to myself. From the time of my first contact with them to the time of receiving the new fridge in my home, was approximately 4 days, which I regard as very efficient and quick acting customer care. The fridge is now installed but as it was 10 and half months before things went wrong, I cannot give a 5 star review for the actual item, I will have to see how that works out over time. However I would give them 5 stars for quick, caring and efficient customer service. I have never had something resolved so quickly and with as little fuss as possible. They were more concerned with ensuring that I was a satisfied customer and to a point I am, at this time, so thank you Inventor. I just hope there isn’t a repeat of same problems.

I am so disappointed with this item. We bought this as a second fridge in the kitchen. Initially after delivery, I noticed that there was a dent on the side but because it could not be seen, swallowed my instinct for perfection and decided that I would live with this as long as the fridge worked! However despite not being the main fridge in terms of use, first the catch on the freezer door stopped working so that internal freezer door fails to close securely and now the actual fridge door will not shut. I don’t know if this is because of the freezer door but I am unhappy that a not bad looking fridge freezer is not functioning as it should after just over 10 months! It is therefore not a product I would buy again and I now need to look into how to either get a refund or replace with a more sturdy item.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersFantastic Size and love the finish on the silver model. This has ample space for 3 adults or 2 adults and 2 children.
The item arrived Fast well packaged.
I noticed some have written about the ice box freezing and drips – if this happens you are running it too High, I have mine on minimum and I just wipe any I see forming which now is not many.
I like the fact the door holder for bottles can be rotated out for 4 pints and in for 2 pints. I have to say I was surprised at how large it was anf just how much stuff I can get in it. Excellent product.
It works for me because my Cat and my Dog are on RAW food so the space at the base is where I keep their tubs of thawed food – away from my products.
Top marks for this and having a small freezer compartment is a bonus. I chose this simply because I live alone and found a full size fridge empty most of time. Also I have a back problem so I now have everything at eye level no bending. This would also make an ideal extra fridge for large families or extra food at Christmas or parties for keeping drinks and food cold.
    Can’t praise it enough.

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersReasonably quiet small fridge.

Not too noisy (though not silent its quieter than some fridges this size). Easily cools to 4C fridge temperatures. Will do the job of ensuring my student son does not have his milk and beer nicked from the shared fridge in his accommodation.

No light inside (not an issue with a fridge this small). Adjustable feet for balance on uneven surfaces. Open backed ice-box (maybe my son will want ice in his summer drinks – I would not trust for storing frozen food beyond overnight). Its small but that is why you buy this type of fridge (my son has been given a maximum 50x50x50cm size limit for in-room fridges). Photographs on Amazon’s product page give a fair impression of what you will get and what will fit inside.

Golden Review Award: 6 From Our UsersLooking for a bar fridge and this meets my requirement perfectly – haven’t come across an alternative to this one that isn’t either too small, or too large, i.e. the standard under counter size you’d get for a kitchen. No major issue, but doesn’t quite get the full 5 stars due to a slightly odd popping noise when it switches off after a cooling cycle; also, whilst reasonably quiet, there is a background noise when cooling – although I’m probably expecting too much for a fridge to be totally quiet since I’m sure they all make a noise to some extent. The lower door shelf restrainer also isn’t quite firm enough for bottles of wine – they wobble against it and there is a danger with overly vigerous door opening of bottles falling out. But, overall still very happy with this purchase – looks good; plenty of space to chill a few bottles of wine; likewise for cans; and even a little sort of freezer (don’t think it’s quite a freezer) compartment that may work for ice cube storage (yet to try). I can also see it working for those in the market for a compact fridge for more mundane uses such as food storage!

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersWould have rated 5 stars but no light inside. Bit nervous fridge would be too big as this is in a TV room off a bedroom but it is.just right, and holds lots of cans/waters etc. Only negative which is minor is because it is so quiet (which is excellent) I didn’t realize it was on as no inner light until I put my hand inside to feel if it was cold. I have therefore needed to put a lamp next to the fridge for use in the night.

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersWe needed an ‘overflow’ fridge and this one was the right size and seems to have the most positive feedback.

Two hours after unboxing, plugged it in and the following morning, is was nice and cold and we’ve started using it.

It’s too early to comment on the ice-box, but it is a shame that the ice-box cover doesn’t clip shut.

There is a dial to set the temperature from low through to high – presumably ‘high’ is the coldest? As there’s no actual indicator for the temperature in the fridge, I will be buying a cheap fridge thermometer to make sure it’s just right.

There isn’t an internal light, but that’s not a deal-breaker for me.

The door comfortably holds two 4-pint plastic bottles of milk and the shelving is quite versatile.

So far – good value, prompt delivery and does what we need – time will tell if it’s been a good investment.

One week on and I’m REALLY pleased – nice and quiet, (although it is in the boiler room so wouldn’t matter too much), stable temperature – helped with a cheap fridge thermometer – no issues with the ice box.

It’s not clear from the product photo’s, but there is lots of room.

I would mark down just 1 point out of a hundred because the feet aren’t very ‘grippy’ – we have it standing on a shiny worktop and when you open the door, the whole fridge slides forward – a bit of blue-tac under each of the front feet seems to have taken care of that ‘problem’.

No regrets buying this ‘mini’ fridge.
