Good bottle. Easy to carry around and leak proof. Looks nice too.
This water bottle is colourful and robust.
The flip lid is easy to operate, and is secure and leakproof.
I love that it has a small hole in the lid so when you are drinking no vacuum is formed, the water flows freely.
The little handle is useful as I carry it into my excessive classes, and it doesn’t feel flimsy as some can.
Great water bottle, lovely design and very well made I just wish it came wiry a straw! Excellent price too
This bottle is pretty robust, and had a good but small locking switch. The lid when closed is leakproof, however if the lid is up and you tip it over, it will spill as it has an open spout. The design is really cute and the bottle is thin enough to hold in one adult hand nicely, however out 2 and 4 year olds are using these and they can still cope nicely with the size.

I have so many ion8 bottles that I can’t help but to order more. They are great and just perfect for my little one to take to school.
The 500ml are a good size for drinks and can hold water or juice easily. The lock of the bottle is easy to use by my six year old and he has no problems opening and closing the bottle.
The bottle transfer is lovely and stays on well and lasts to being thrown around in his bag at school. There are so many different types available and they all look grea
I like the design on this bottle – it will please adults and children, but probably not cool teenagers. The bottle feels adequately well made. The cap mechanism makes it easy to drink out of.
The cap lock is useful for preventing the cap from being accidently opened. It’s a little bit stiffer than on some bottles, and so needs a bit of pressure, but it should still be capable of being operated by children.
Water bottles seem to come in two basic types — all plastic, which can normally be squeezed and stainless steel. This one is slightly different — made from a solid plastic which can’t be squeezed — although the product information incorrectly states it is stainless steel. It comes with a leak proof re-sealable cap to make sure contents don’t spill. This Ion8 Leak Proof Water Bottle was offered for review under the Amazon Vine programme and contains a pretty standard 500ml. Measuring 65mm diameter (about the diameter of a standard 330ml drinks can) and 231mm tall, it features an attractive design called Playful Pond which features Frogs with Crowns (a fairy tale reference), and water lilies on a mid blue, transparent background, which resembles water and which I thought was striking, seemingly aimed at youngsters. The plastic is see-through so you can view how much you have left. It is dishwasher safe when time comes to give it a clean, although if you are hand washing you will probably need a washing-up brush or push a washing-up sponge around with a knife to do a thorough job.
The top unscrews like most do revealing the interior. The top will nip up firmly thanks to an inbuilt diamond pattern which is designed to aid purchase if opening or closing, and which is fitted with a good seal that means if the bottle isn’t upright in a bag it won’t leak, all features I liked a lot. There’s a flip top cap opened by pressing a button downwards, giving access to a 12mm wide drinking hole. Once the drink has been taken it closes positively with a noticeable click, which is a good hygiene feature if kids are to use this bottle as it goes without saying how mucky kids can get things. There’s also an inbuilt carrying ring, which means it could be carried this way of attached to (say) a rucksack, or ideal to hold on to if running given hands can get sweaty, another thoughtful feature.
Opening the bottle there is no overt plastic smell at all, although there’s a silica gel bag which should be removed firstwhich is clearly doing the job of keeping things smelling neutral. Examining the cardboard label everything here is recyclable, with the label stating it is both food safe and BPA free. BPA is said to mimic the estrogen hormone, potentially impacting growth, cell repair, energy levels, and reproduction whilst interfering with the thyroid, so that this product is free from it is a good thing. When it does finally bite the dust though the material choices mean it should recycle at the kerbside, which as a committed recycler is a big thumbs up from me. At 12.70 it is not as cheap as many, but it should be destined for a long life either at the gym, out running or used by a child to take drinks in a rucksack on a journey or to school. It’s a little too narrow to fit in a drinks bottle holder of a bicycle though, which is a purpose best served by squeezable bottles.
Ideal little bottle, especially for kids in school. My daughter has a terrible habit of breaking or losing her bottles so this is great as a back up. It’s leakproof and has survived a few knocks and drops. The lock is decent enough and hasn’t opened up if it’s been dropped. It’s lightweight enough to carry around. It’s also very easy to clean. My only suggestion would be it’s not the easiest to carry round so maybe a tie on it would make it easier. But apart from that it’s fantastic!

This water bottle is well-made and smartly designed, suitable for school.
Features: It comes with leakproof covers, lockable. It has no straw, but the spout is suitable even for a child. It is made from thick and sturdy plastic, but no smell or taste of plastic. It has a holder, suitable to sling in your finger. Decent capacity and good insulation: It can indeed handle 500ml.
Easy to clean: The brim is not big enough to put an adult hand inside when doing manual cleaning, so it is best to use a cleaning brush to do the job.
I am unsure yet if the frog design will go off eventually, as my son has been using this for less than two weeks.
Overall, I find this plastic water bottle recommendable.

I like Ion8 branded products . I have already got the Ion8 Leak proof slim water bottle 350ml for my child. So I really needed another bigger one for myself so this one is just absolutely perfect!
Its the perfect size for adults or even for children to take with you when going for a walk or outside and need to drink something.
The bottle has a capacity of 500ml but I believe its a nice size. Its very slim so can easily fit in your bag, in children school bag, lunch bags and in cup holders.
The colour is light blue with frogs on it. You can choose from sooo many colours and designs.
The material is very soft to feel and is non slippery. Some bottles are so slippery. The material is BPA free which is obviously a very good feature. The bottle has a plastic lid which is easy to open and close with 1 click and is leak proof. I took the bottle with me to work and it didn’t leak at all. There is a lock to close it securily.
It is easy to clean as the lid screws off . I recommend to wash it by hand.
I believe the price could have been slightly lower for this bottle size.
A lovely looking lightweight reusable water bottle which is slim in design. A lovely blue colour, with a semi transparent body with cute little frogs printed all around. Bpa free, food safe. It holds 500ml (18 oz) of liquid and is lightweight for the size, even when full. It’s a perfect size to take out and about, fitting in a bag and also fits in the cars cup holder. Nice shape and slim design which is easy to hold and with a small carry handle loop on the lid. The lid securely screws on. Well made solid bottle that doesnt leak and hassle free to open. One button press which flips the lid open, you can also lock it in place, so it doesn’t accidentally opens up. A good size spout which makes it comfortable to drink out of. The whole thing, bottle and lid are easy to clean with water soapy water. Over all a great little reusable bottle, that isnt costly, where you are going to get multiple uses from it, making it extremely worth while, saving on single use plastic bottles and helping the environment by cutting down.
My daughter really loves this. It’s bright and colourful.
Our little girl loves how it pops up at the press of a button! The carry handle is quite flimsy and I’m not sure it is a feature that will last long. Having said that, it isn’t integral to the design so the bottle could still be used after it broke. So far it’s been leakproof.
I find all these bottles have a limited life but we like this one, particularly as it’s not as fragile as others we have tried. My daughter loves it too, so is drinking lots of water!

This has had a few outings in a school bag now and it doesn’t leak! All of the others I’ve tried have leaked at some point. The locking mechanism is secure and you have to think about opening it. In previous bottles something in my sons bag presses against the release button and accidentally pops it open and water leaks all over the schoolbooks.
So all good and very happy!
This water bottle is beautiful and a great way of ensuring that you consume the right amount of water while on the go. The design has so much appeal and the colours and pattern are vibrant with happy vibes. The lid locks closed at the top and can be easily opened by pressing the button and releasing the catch.
As the bottle is made from stainless steel it is more robust than plastic water bottles. It’s also a decent size without being bulky and the water bottle can easily fit in your handbag, backpack, etc.

This is made of BPA free plastic just to be clear in description theys ay stainless steel but its plastic and good type of plastic. I like that this bottle is slim and because of its shape it can easily fit into my cross bag. It is leak proof. I am also taking it to Gym and during cycling its so handy to just open it quickly and drink far better then my traditional old bottle. I like the feel of this bottle and the print. WOrth teh price and stand out looks cute more liek kids bottle but very nice.
The company has recently changed the design of their lid – see pics – this is to improve the customer experience and make it more streamlined. The bottle itself is a lovely design but can be slippery when wet – maybe a rubberised grip may help? Otherwise it’s great.
