Good value compared to the original Apple pencil just a little bit lighter. It comes with 3 replacement tips and works well, I haven’t had any problems with it so far.
This pencil works excellently well. It connects with the iPad effortlessly and charges well. I can’t tell the difference between this and the original apple pencil. Great value for money!
Pencil if of a good build quality, it’s Easy to use, magnet charging makes the use and charging of the pen even more convenient. 5 stars. Being of non white colour helps to separate from the bunch of other white ones.
My dog has an unfortunate liking for chewing my apple pencils, at over 140 each time I needed a cheaper solution. This works ok, not quite the same connection speed to Bluetooth but not bad.
I have an original Apple Pencil, second gen and this performs equally as well – except tap to swop from pen to eraser. very pleased. If it had done Ttap to swo, I would’ve given it five stars
Initially pleased with purchase, although after 6 months the pencil has stopped pairing with my device. Can’t figure out how to return, or request replacement
Update – contacted directly by seller, and offered full refund. Thank you for the very reactive customer service.
SoI have an apple pen, but bought this for my son at his request for a birthday gift. It works just as well as my pen, is comfortable to hold and fits in the case holder perfectly – the two are only distinguishable by price! But this one!
Much cheaper than the official Apple product so worth it just on that front ! Pen works well for what we need it to. I say go for it and spend your money
This is an Apple Pencil, just in a very good disguise. Also rather nice it doesn’t have the aforementioned price tag.
Works brilliantly with my iPad mini 6. Write notes by scribbling them down, watch your scribbles turn to perfect text in seconds. Great for shopping lists.
Highly recommend.
Had and apple pencil but now need pencil 2 as got a new iPad so though I’d try this.
If your into your art and really want the realistic drawing experience then I’m afraid it isn’t a patch on the apple pencil , however if you aren’t as bothered about the pressure sensitivity and angles then this is great. I draw as a hobby and great for me and great for taking notes when out and about at work .
The question I’d ask yourself, is it worth paying an extra 100 . For me it’s not and this ticks the boxes .
I wanted a pen to annotate documents from my mac. With this I use “sidecar” to push docs to my ipad, use this pen to annotate, then puch back to mac.
Quick, simple, effective.
I’m not an artist or designer: I work with technology and I need to perform simple markup while on calls (etc). This works perfectly for what I need.
I recently bought a new Ipad Air 2022. The Apple Pen 2 at 139 was unaffordable so I looked for alternatives and I am so glad I did.
This Keepro iPen is fantastic!!! Extremely easy to setup and pair with my iPad. Attaches easily to magnetic charger on iPad air.
It also came with extra tips and at less than a quarter the price of Apple Pen 2, this is an excellent product. I cannot recommend it enough.
I bought an iPad Air some time ago and noticed that I definitely need a tool to support me in writing (as I bought it mainly for note taking). When I saw that the new pencil from the original manufacturer costs very high price, I started looking for an alternative and found KEEPRO. It’s really good and I enjoy using! The button at the top is very handy and it also shows the battery status.
I hadn’t used my Apple Pencil for a few weeks and was horrified to find it would not power up. Apparently this is a ‘feature’ of the Apple product, and a very expensive one at that, as the Pencil is now useless.
I researched similar pencils and I bought this one. It has an on/off switch which works – I turned it off and checked it two days later and the battery was still full – and unlike lesser models it charges wirelessly, like the Apple one. No leads or chargers needed!
It is slightly thinner than the Apple one and beautifully made and packaged. It does most of the things the Apple one does and at less than a third of the price it’s very good value. The colour-coded ring around the on/off switch that shows battery level is beautifully implemented.
It can use the Apple replaceable tips so at least that’s one thing I can salvage from the dead Apple Pencil
The instructions are nicely printed in colour, the only thing I’d say is that the ‘About indicator’ table in the English section is actually in Spanish, so that could be improved.
It is very responsive when used on an iPad Air, and the Scribble feature works (although I’ve turned it off as it’s hard for me to write so small into some text entry boxes).
All in all a very good purchase – there are others around for a few pounds less, but this has magnetic charging and attaches magnetically to the side of the iPad and worth the extra money for that, as well as the excellent build quality.
Have not found any flaws so far. It looks and feels solid. A great product.
I wanted a pencil for my i-pad pro but really couldn’t warrant spending over 100 so did some research for an alternative and this had very good reviews so I took the plunge and am glad I did!! It was super easy to set up, lasts a long time on one charge and comes with 3 spare nibs. I use it for making notes and as a stylus and having previously owned a 1st gen Apple Pencil, it is equally comparable. A brilliant alternative and I would definitely recommend.
brilliant little pen at a fraction of the apple equivalent great value
Works as per the ad right out of the box. Excellent value for wireless charging.
A doddle to set up and charges effortlessly on the side of the iPad. Its so much fun to use and an absolute bargain at roughly 1/4 of the price of the apple model. No issues at all, Stunning!
I recently purchased the KEEPRO Pencil 2nd Generation for iPad and it has been an absolute game changer for my digital art and note-taking experience! The pencil’s magnetic feature allows for easy wireless charging and storage, which I find incredibly convenient. The tilt sensitivity is spot on and makes drawing precise lines a breeze, and the palm rejection technology ensures that I don’t have to worry about any unwanted marks while I’m working.
What’s great about this pencil is that it works seamlessly with most iPad models, including the iPad Pro and iPad Air, and the Bluetooth connectivity is quick and easy. Plus, it has a long battery life and automatically powers off after a period of inactivity, which is a big plus for me as I tend to forget to turn things off.
Overall, I highly recommend the KEEPRO Pencil 2nd Generation for iPad to anyone who is looking for a high-quality stylus that will enhance their digital art and note-taking experience. The magnetic wireless charging and tilt sensitivity make it stand out from other stylus options, and its compatibility with most iPad models makes it a versatile choice. I am thoroughly impressed with this pencil and cannot recommend it enough!
Extremely useful for a law student like me who have to a lot of online reading
Works well on my ipad air, bargain at the price considering the cost of the apple product!
Bought this to replace an Apple Pencil that was stolen and don’t regret it for one second. Amazing for the price as it does everything I need it to, very responsive, wireless charging and user friendly. Highly recommend.
My daughter wanted Apple Pencil from ages but I really didn’t want to spend so much money for it. Anyway i did find this one and decided to order it as the reviews were good. I DONT REGRET THAT. It’s exactly the same like the original one but it’s cheeper. What a deal
So far this pen has been amazing! Feels really smooth, easy to connect, charges magnetically, and a fraction of the price! I couldn’t have asked for anything more! It even has a light at the top that shows when its on and off. I’d like to use for a while and test its longevity but even if it can give me a year or two, I’ll be delighted!
I wanted a pencil for my new iPad Air 5 but couldn’t afford the Apple Pencil and seen reviews on how good this Pencil is and it is excellent and great value for money
I’ve tried a couple of cheap iPad stylus’ previously that did an ok job but had issues with connectivity and charging. I’ve not had this one for long but it works seamlessly and the built in magnetic charging is a lifesaver.
I bought this pen to work with the iPad mini and it works exactly as described. Very happy with the performance and the price.
If you’re looking to buy the Apple Pencil but want save money this is the best option. Great product!
The pen works really well, great value, easy to set up just a great item,
It feels and looks like a really well made item,
My grandchildren love using the pen.
I would recommend this pen to everyone.
A next day delivery by Amazon great.
My Keepro pencil will not charge. I have connected it to bluetooth and it is attached magnetically to the side of the Ipad but will not charge, its even been left overnight to charge and its still dead.
My Apple Pencil broke last week and didn’t want to pay loads for a new one. This product is a great cheaper alternative and works very well.
Highly recommend
Very happy with my Keepro I-Pen, especially considering how many of the Apple Pencil 2 features it offers for just a quarter of the Apple retail price. Sure, it doesn’t offer pressure sensitivity and yes it would be nice if it didn’t automatically turn off after just 5 mins of inactivity BUT crucially it does – which is a major bonus for these Apple Pencil substitutes – offer reliable and effective magnetic wireless charging, PLUS excellent tilt sensitivity when drawing, double click to enter multi-tasking and single click to go to the homepage and easy pairing. In addition, it seems to be exactly (or at least very close to) the Apple Pencil dimensions and so will fit with no problem into pencil holders (including those that are a part of the iPad case) and also accept pencil covers made for covering your Apple Pencil. All in all a great choice if you don’t want to pay the price of a genuine Apple Pencil 2 but want virtually all of the convenience and excellence that the Apple Pencil offers. No point in my view in trying to save a further 10-15 by buying one of those other Apple Pencil substitutes that don’t offer wireless charging or as good performance as the i-Pen does.
Purchased this item as an alternative the the Apple Pencil 2 (as Apple item is 3x more expensive)
Super quick delivery and it is so easy to connect to my iPad (magnetic side) and also charges once attached.
Changed the way I use my iPad, especially for notes!
Very impressive so far!!
My Apple Pencil broke and I needed a quick replacement. I was happily surprised by additional features such as the click to go to home screen or multitask. I already recommended it to a friend.
Bought as a gift for my partner. She’s used many rubber tipped iPad stylus’s over the years and has always been disappointed. She’s now extremely happy. The pencil works straight away, simply connect via Bluetooth and away you go. It’s very precise and feels good in the hand. Her iPad case has a pencil slot. Put the pencil in and it starts charging. Love the indicators. Different colours for charge status and flashing when charging. All in all a great product at a great price.
I may buy a second one for me too!
Fantastic, got me through my exam season! Only complaint would be it lost sensitivity faster than expected, but the product still works well and is very useful for my day to day life.
I wanted a pencil for my iPad (5th Gen M1 12.9) for use with Davinci Resolve and this works really well. I didn’t want to pay the ridiculous Apple price so I read a lot of reviews to find cheaper alternatives. The Keepro brand kept on coming up as highly recommended, so I bought one.
It’s really easy to set up and works straight away. The magnetic charging is great, it means you can just use the pencil and place it on top of the iPad when done. No need to ever think about charging it. It sticks firmly in place.
I’m not an artist so I do not miss the pressure sensitivity feature or side buttons that an Apple pencil has. This device is perfect for note taking and for use with any app which can use a pencil like Davinci Resolve. It has one flat edge so it can lay down and not roll away, and it fits perfectly in the apple pencil slot in my iPad cover. It comes well packaged with spare tips and feels and looks like a quality product. I’m very pleased with it.
I had the latest 11″ iPad Pro as my upgrade and was after an Apple Pencil 2.0 for it but they’re very pricey for a stylus so was looking to save myself a bit of money by trying out an alternative instead. I stumbled upon this KEEPRO Apple Pencil alternative on Amazon and saw that it had very good reviews. I also saw some videos of it on a YouTube where it was said to more or less be exactly the same as the Apple Pencil (minus a couple of features that I wouldn’t have used anyway as I’m not an artist). I love how this pencil is so much easy to set up and that it’s a one off set up. I love how it integrates into the screen so I can see for myself on a widget the battery life of my iPad and the battery life of my pencil. I love how it charges on top of my iPad, just like the original Apple Pencil does too!
The pencil writes really well and is absolutely great for note taking, which is all I really wanted the pencil for in the first place! If you’re looking for an Apple Pencil alternative, I highly recommend this product!
So happy with this product!
I wanted an Apple Pencil but couldn’t justify the price, so I thought I’d try this version as it is much more affordable. I’m really glad I did as it is amazing!
It works exactly as described and I can’t fault it at all. I have been using it for Procreate and GoodNotes and it works perfectly with both.
Its also super easy to set up – it connects to your iPad via Bluetooth then you can use it immediately. To charge, it magnetically attaches to the side of the iPad and flashes while it is charging which is really helpful. It then stops flashing when fully charged.
Overall it is amazing value for money – I would definitely recommend
Just received it today and I so happy with it. I am no graphic artist, so I m mainly planning to use it for writing notes, i found this pen extremely easy to use. Out of the box was quite straightforward to turn it on/pair it with my ipad. It charges wirelessly when magnetically attached to the ipad and the writing flows well, so all in all it is a great pen keeping in mind it cost a fraction of the original one.
I had my doubts about how good this pencil would be compared to the Apple Pencil, especially as it was around a 100 difference in price. Well it’s very good indeed, it feels great with no lag, it sits magnetically on the side of the iPad and charges too with a light that lets you know when it’s charged, which is also a bottom that allows you to go back to the Home Screen, my daughter has an iPad Pro with official Apple Pencil and she prefers mine and especially likes the button feature on the end.
If I was to be picky I’d say that after 5minutes of inactivity the pencil turns off which means you have to press the end of pencil button for 3seconds to reconnect it but it’s no big issue really and one I’ll get use to overtime, on the whole I’m very happy I didn’t pull the trigger on the Apple Pencil and saved myself a load of money
My old pen for my iPad got really worn out so I decided it’s time to buy a new one. As always when shopping online I did a little research and almost ended up with a lot pricier well known brand pen. However, in “Products related to this item” section I saw The KEEPRO iPad Stylus.
It has everything I was looking for:
– Magnetic wireless charging (great feature my old pen was lacking) which means no more cables for recharging the stylus, just place it on designated spot on my IPad and voila! Flashing light at the power button changes colour depending on battery status. Red when power is below 20%, Blue in range between 20% and 70%, Green above 70%. When battery is fully charged Green colour is steady. Of course you can follow battery status on the battery widget as well
– Tilt sensitivity – works great in my Procreate app. Those with artistic approach can make the most of this feature.
– Palm rejection – this one needs no explanation why it’s needed
– Work time – 8 – 10 hours. So far I had no chance to test it but I believe even below 8 hours this pen would be great. Plus easy charging option in case when needed – what else would one need?
– Power button also supports two added actions – 1-click to return to Home Page and double-click to enter multitask. Long click powers up or down the device.
– Power saving feature – turns the Stylus automatically off after 5 minutes of not using it. To power up again all it takes is placing the iPen on magnetic charger on your iPad or just long click the power button.
– Pen tip is exactly the same as one on Apple Pencil and Stylus comes with extra 3 tips. Changing the tip is very easy – just unscrew worn out one and replace it in no time.
All of the above plus price around 30 makes this Pen very easy choice for those who don’t want to pay too much. After reading positive reviews I made up my mind and bought this Stylus. Altogether I am satisfied with my purchase and hope this iPen will be exactly what I need. In case anything goes wrong the Seller provides 12 months warranty with free replacement of faulty device.
I lost my Apple Pencil2 which must have fallen off at some stage, so beware the magnetic connection to an ipad is not very secure. I bought this on Black Friday at a good price less than a third of the cost of an Apple replacement, and so far, I am very pleased with it. It pairs easily, charges via the magnetic link and works just like the original. The only issue I have so far is that it lags a little when writing quickly. If you are a scribbler like me, it struggles to keep pace with your writing. For everything else, drawing, artwork, marking up PDFs etc it works just fine.
Update: having used this pencil for a few weeks I have become more used to it. The only real difference from the Apple pencil is the lack of pressure sensitivity or hover function. In all other respects it works as well as the original. Highly recommended.
