–Thinking About “Constant 1.5V Output”
During a long time, there has been a tangled question – The advantages of disposable and rechargeable batteries incompatible.
Some rechargeable batteries’ voltage always drops gradually over time. When the voltage is not high enough to wake the device, a new annoyance arises – the rechargeable battery always seem to fail to achieve the ideal battery life.
The key to solving this problem is how to keep the voltage of the rechargeable battery at a constant level.
Kratax new generation of 1.5V constant voltage output AAA rechargeable batteries is here. Equipped with short-circuit protection, overcharge protection, constant voltage control circuit, etc. – the Kratax laboratory has once again defined the smart chip technology in the battery field

These batteries are good quality. They hold the charge well, but takes a while to charge them.
These batteries are good for toys. Easier to charge them than getting new batteries.
This is a good pack of Rechargeable Batteries and a Charger, the batteries’ capacity is excellent 3500mWh and they work well.
The charger is compact and portable, it is very lightweight and is excellent for travelling too.
It is a good pack and I recommend it.
I ordered the AA Rechargeable Batteries with Charger,Kratax 3500mWh High-Capacity Long-Lasting 1.5V Lithium AA Battery,2H Ultra Fast Charge,1600Cycles,Constant Output,[4AA+1Charger].
These batteries so far have been recharged once, they have held the charge pretty well. Much prefer to use rechargeable batteries so that they aren’t contributing to land fill.
At the time of reviewing this product was priced at 28.49. This is quite expensive for this item.
I would recommend this product.
Having cycled these batteries several times now after using them in a high drain situation I am impressed with both the duration of their effective use and the two hour charging time. The charger and batteries arrived neatly boxed and included is the charger, four batteries and a USB cable. The initial charge took around half an hour as they were partially charged. I find it really convenient to have a range of connection options for powering the charger by USB cable as I can charge from one of my V-mount power packs or wall adaptor. First couple of uses were OK but not as good as they are now, having been cycled a number of times. The charger is compact and gives good indication of battery and charging status through the array of LED’s which are adjacent to the battery slots. The batteries themselves are correctly proportioned, accurate AA size so I didn’t have to jam them into any of the devices I have powered with them. The power output of the batteries seems very consistent right up until the point at which they are depleted. If they will last as many charges as suggested in the listing and taking into account their capacity and rapid charging time, they would be a good buy at the current price which is a bit more than I’d usually expect to pay for similar items. So far I’m really impressed by them.
The built quality is good. The charger is designed to be small and lightweight which is great for carrying in the bag when traveling. The batteries were not fully charged and took less than an hour to recharge to full capacity. Seems durable and I expect it to last longer.
Arrived well-packaged as shown in the attached photos.
The price is slightly expensive in my opinion.
Overall, I am happy to own it and will recommend.
This is first time i hear about company called Kratax but so far i have no complaints. Charger with batteries arrived neatly and safely packed. In box you gonna receive 4 lithium ion batteries with their own charger.
Producent states that they will last around 1600 cycles which is extraordinary, that is a lot and really there is no way to check it, time will show. They are lithium ion batteries same like you can find in your smartphone, rather than alkaline. This is big advantage. They also manage to squeeze more capacity, nearly twice comparing to other brands. So far they worked great for me, convenient charger with indicator to state battery charge level, charging from usb rather than regular socket. Great package, especially for this price.
Compact and easy charging – indicator shows clearly when it’s fully juiced.
Seems to hold charge well – currently using it for Xbox controllers/remote controllers.
Will have to observe how long they keep their charge after future charging cycles.
So far, so good. However, the price tag that comes with these batteries are quite a bit on the higher side.
Compared to buying single use batteries, these should prove to be great value for money at 1.5 times the price of single uses ones.
So far so good, they’ve been in my blink camera since I got them and they’re doing good!
When my children were younger, I tried rechargeable batteries in their toys & games but was I was always a little underwhelmed: they never seemed to last long and always seemed to be on recharge. That was 20 years ago so are things any better? Yes!
These batteries charge quickly and appear – so far – to hold their charge quite well. I like the way they feel sturdy & secure whilst in the charging unit and a clear indicator light let’s you know when charging is complete.
There are 2 reasons I’ve gone for four stars as opposed to 5: first, is that initial outlay price – 28!? Ouch! Now I realise good quality rechargeable batteries are always quite expensive, but it will take me quite a while to recoup that initial outlay by saving on overall running costs. The other reason is time; I need to use these and re-charge them a number of times before I can really assess their longevity, but so far everything looks promising and these particular brand of batteries scored quite well in a recent “which” investigation.
UPDATE: so after 5 nights in an outdoor garden ornament these have stopped working and need a recharge. Ouch! That is poor. A normal set of batteries has easily lasted three weeks previously, so 5 nights is poor. I suppose at least I can recharge them but it is not beginning to look like Longevity has improved since 20 years ago.
A lot of rechargeable battery chargers plug directly into the socket. This can be ok but sometimes a socket isn’t available or it covers up space in double ones. This one is powered by a reasonable long USB cable that means it can be charged up through any USB including a power pack.
When it is charging there is a single green light on the top. In addition when it is charging each individual battery (4 in total, which are provided) has a red light above it that changes to green when ready to use. When all 4 are green this turns off and back to the seperate single green light. From arriving, once plugged in, it seemed to take about half an hour to be fully charged.
The batteries come in a handy snap shut case that they can be stored and carried around in. Whilst this seems pricey to start with it should, over time, pay for itself.
These will be used in a “trail camera” a bit power hungry, normal cells don’t last too long.
They have a blue led inside, I believe it indicates full charge. A good point is the nominal voltage is 1.5v more into NORMAL AA cell region. I have great hopes of these… Expensive but ? Time will tell, they have great storage capacity.
Good compact charger but expensive. You can charge AA or AAA batteries (AA supplied) It can only be used for Kratax Lithium batteries so don’t try any others.
When you have an almost 7 year old son, you tend to go through a lot of batteries, so when these Lithium Ion batteries popped up for review, I was interested to see if they would be better than the old rechargeables I used to use.
In the pack you get 4 x Li-Ion AA batteries, that have a 1.5v output (the same as regular Alkaline batteries) and a storage capacity of 3500mWh (2333 mAh).
You also get a nice compact charger that is only just bigger in size than the 4 batteries together. The charger is powered via a USB-C connection and requires connecting to a USB charger with an output of 5V @ 2 Amps. The batteries simply slot inside the spring loaded compartments and an indicator LED above each one lets you know the charging state (red = charging and green = charged).
There are various protections built into each one to prevent over charging/discharging and short circuiting etc.
***** In The Box *****
4 x AA Batteries
1 x Charger
1 x USB-C Cable
***** Installation / Usage *****
After charging, you can use the Lithium batteries in pretty much the same way as any regular Alkaline or rechargeable NiMh/NiCd. The only thing you need to do, is make sure you only use them in devices that run from battery power only and do not have a built in charging circuit, as unless the device states that Li-Ion batteries are suitable to use, you would risk damaging them or the device due the the differences in charging technology.
***** Conclusion *****
So far, I have been quite impressed with this product from Kratax.
Rechargeable batteries have definitely come a long way since I used to use them many moons ago. One of my biggest annoyances was the many hours they would take to recharge, but that isn’t the case anymore — these can be charged and ready to go in just a couple of hours.
Lithium batteries also have the advantage over other types, by being able to supply the full 1.5v until they run out of power, where as other types will drop to a lower voltage causing devices to slow down or fade (in the case of a torch). Another advantage is that they can hold their charge a lot longer than other types, so these would be a great choice in a torch that you keep in a cupboard for emergencies, etc. The only downside to this is that you don’t get any indication that they are almost flat, they will just cut out.
My only slight criticism is that Kratos decided to list the storage capacity in mWh, as opposed to the far more common mAh, which upon first glance makes them appear to have a larger capacity.
So overall, I like the performance of the product although I do think the initial outlay is a little steep at 27.99 — if you do get the full 1600 recharge cycles from them, then I’m sure you would be quids in eventually and as long as your kids haven’t lost them in their toys.
Please note..re my photo.. the AAA battery inserted in the charger isn’t included..it’s just for demonstration..you do get the four AA batteries though as stated.
Ok it’s a batter charger..complete with four AA batteries….it will also take scouse batteries (AAA). The high capacity is great & always prefered this type of lithium battery over NI-MH batteries for their qucker charging & holding their charge for a lot longer so its nice to have some in rechargeable form.
This set is quite expensive as it’s not really a charger..it’s just a container with whatever circuitry inside that plugs INTO a charger (Although this is the norm these days). You can get a proper full plug in charger complete with batteries for less. However, I suspect the price is due to the actual more superior specs & longevity of the batteries themselves…along with apparent protective circuitry within each battery.
Having a unit like this is environmentally the way to go though….making use of already existing USB chargers instead of having electronics/transformers built into every seld contained unit like in the past.
Im glad to say it comes with..& plugs into the commonly more standard USB-C cable connection….the other end being a standard USB connection…this shouldn’t be a problem though if your current phone (etc) charger uses USB-C at both ends of the cable as you’ll just use that cable instead (stating the obvious there).
It’s compact…it charges well…the batteries sound impressive (on paper….hard to put to test really)…..It dies its job & all good from me…just the price irks a bit.
Really good, I run 22 of theses batteries in a giant model railway pushes a 3 kilo train along for around 4 hours
Very good, I hope they don’t declare them dangerous and we can’t buy them anymore
