I purchased 2 x monitors 6months ago.one of the monitors display has darkened affecting the display. I approached Amazon via the chat and they said they can’t do anything and refered me to the manufacturer “Lenovo” site.
They cannot help or do anything as the warranty/ guarantee is with whom I bought it off, which is Amazon.
Therefore I’m stuffed, I have a faulty product and the seller won’t help me
So do not purchase rude screens, 1. As they are poor quality 2. There promise of a 2 year warranty isn’t supported.
Bought this for a 2nd monitor and use with with a Windows laptop and a Macbook laptop, works well with both via an adapter. Screen tilts but is not height adjustable, however I just put a block of wood under it.
Bought to use with Windows Dell laptop for work…..use as both dual screen and simply a bigger screen than laptop…not used for anything else..
Easy to connect, enough height and tilt for my usage …no speaker but that was as described and i am happy with laptop for that … screen and quality seem all good for me too…comes without HDMI lead but we have spares knocking around so also not an issue and as described..it’s made working from home easier for sure..
Let me first mention that the refresh rate of this monitor is 60 Hz and not 75 Hz and that no HDMI cable is included.
With that out the way, the monitor itself is decent but the picture compared to my laptops does feel like it’s a little more washed out. I haven’t messed with the settings too much yet other than changing the display modes which doesn’t really seem to change all that much. It’s a great second monitor though for having your things to the side, I think I would also use it for watching movies assuming this is your largest display like it is mine.
One thing I didn’t take into account though when buying this monitor is that it doesn’t come with speakers built in. I just assumed it would as I thought it was just a standard thing but I was wrong. No built in speakers. No biggy though as I usually use headphones anyway and can just use my laptops speakers if I needed to.
I got this monitor on sale for 89 and for that price I would say that it is worth it. I wouldn’t pay full price though, you could probably do better if you have a larger budget.
Monitor absolutely fine but description wrong as only comes supplied with VGA cable, not 1.8m hdmi as described. Just allow for this.
It’s a good monitor. Nice & smooth when gaming. A good refresh rate. Nice colour & quality. User friendly. Good size. Easy to assemble. It’s a bit annoying that you have to unscrew the back plate anytime you want to adjust the tilt though.
For the MSRP of 130, I’d say this monitor is really not worth it – shop around and you could probably find a full, proper gaming monitor with a HFR screen, DisplayPort, and more features for only slightly above that.
But for the 80 I paid for it, intended for use as a secondary monitor? I’m quite pleased. The picture quality is…actually pretty solid. Not cinematic or reference quality by any stretch of the imagination, and if you’re looking for flaws, you’ll find ’em. But everything comes through well enough, especially if you’re just watching YouTube or the odd TV show. The 75hz refresh rate is also a nice plus (it did show up for me as that within Windows, for the record, contrary to some other reviews) and it does support Freesync, which is a bit of a coup at this point. (Oh, and also VESA mounting. Very important for me.) Plus, while you probably won’t be starting your CS:GO competitive career with this thing, the monitor is responsive enough for gaming to ensure a pretty solid experience.
On the downside, the build quality is a bit on the cheap end, no DisplayPort is a pisser, the stock stand seems slightly crap, and it came with a damn DVI cable instead of HDMI for some reason.
For 130 I think this monitor is a bit of a joke, but my gut feeling is that you’d be hard pressed to find it at that anyway. For 80? Bit of a no brainer for anyone looking for a secondary monitor or just wants something cheap and “good enough”
Needed a bigger screen as I have started viewing streaming programes from Netflix and Prime on my PC. Didnt need anything sophisticated or super high quality so went for a basic monitor at a great price
A very good monitor good clear picture very good price prompt delivery
The product screen is good size – initially thought screen resolution is bad, but that was just me not adjusting display setting for colour – make sure to set colour up for image quality and not for battery save for best screen experience!
Got this monitor as an upgrade and very pleased with the quality of the pictures on the screen. Well pleased
I got a 27 inch for less than 100 quid so this was cheap. It does seem a lot bigger than my 24 inch, which I have in a multi monitor set up. Adjustment is not so easy via menu. Picture is ok, but HD over 27 inches does look less sharp. Using for work not games and loving the extra space.
Wall mounted and big enough to split screen, which is useful when working from home and the laptop can then be a third screen as such
Only had it a short time but everything seems good so fa
I like the screen but still trying to get improved resolution.
I use this for different type of work, good all round monitor. Looks nice, slim and reasonably lightweight.
I bought this monitor to replace another (different brand) that had been damaged. I have two main uses for a monitor of this size. First, it acts a great auxiliary screen for my laptop. Second, I also use my laptop to watch streaming television. As a video display this works very well. I haven’t tested the audio output as I use an audio interface and external speakers for that.
Good value option from Amazon.
Works well and brightness/contrast levels are good.
This model has a reasonably slim bezel and the Dual VGA & HDMI inputs is good.
I bought this as a 2nd monitor to use with my laptop for work, and was pretty sceptical given the low price – I was expecting “cheap” but it definitely doesn’t look cheap at all
It’s really lightweight, I was able to mount it onto an arm without needing anyone else to hold it up.
Overall really pleased with how it looks and how easy it was to get setup due to its lightweight nature, it’s quite thin too so doesn’t intrude onto the space above my desk at all – I have a small desk so space is at a premium!
Would definitely recommend this monitor for someone who would use it for work or school
Great size to work with and good clear screen quality
I bought this to use with a PS4 as I was using a projector at the time which is no good during the day. My only complaint is that it doesn’t have built in speakers but for the price it’s understandable. You can plug speakers or headphones into it. Well worth the money!
Only had this for about a week and so far very very good. Excellent quality for games refresh, wonderful picture for watching films, etc. I love the option to tilt the screen. For 89 you cant go wrong
I am very pleased with the monitor that i purchased. It was delivered promptly and easy to set up.
Read other reviews of this product. It is easy to install and we purchased this to replace a smaller monitor. We use it purely for wordprocessing and general computer work not gaming or viewing and it is fine. Happy with the purchase. Screen tilts but is not height adjustable as we are taller we have it elevated to suit us.
When i first got the monitor i was a bit disappointed as there was a stuck pixel but it suprisingly fixed itself.
Also i never noticed how much big of a difference going from 60hz to 75hz is, its remarkably noticable and feels 4x smoother. Also works well as a gaming monitor is needed.
Has a great clean design, great value. I would definitely recommend.
Second monitor for work and very very happy… clear as day and so close to me me buying a second one… makes my old monitor look like crap…
Great monitor, only complaint is that the power cable is a bit temperamental and sometimes cuts out if I knock the desk
Lovely picture quality for gaming. Far better than a tv. Excellent size for working from home and desk mounted on its stand. I will buy another when they are on offer again.
Fantastic monitor and so worth the money. I use it as part of a 3 monitor setup as portrait. The thin surround and sleek look makes it fit right in. Would buy anothe
Use this for working from home as my work provided laptop is too small for daily work. Find it to be very clear and bright and big enough for me to have multiple systems open at once and make my life easier.
I bought this monitor after my last one broke. The monitor came immaculately packaged with a VGA to VGA cable a manual and a HDMI cable. 3 months on everything is fine although sometimes the monitor does say that the HDMI is not supported but you just turn it off and on again and its all fine. Overall an amazing monitor for the price and came next day by amazon.
I am pleased with this Lenova screen it is the perfect size for my desk and I am so relieved to get a good picture back as my other screen was fading and breaking down. Very quick delivery within a couple of days and well packaged. Would recommend and a good price.
This is my main monitor now, really good and clean, easy to setup and everything. The Shipping/box was AMAZING, came with a protector for the monitor and everything.
If you want to buy it you should.
Easy to ensemble and detects easily the laptop without any special set ups. The screen also comes with the cable to connect to a computer. The image is clear and has vibrant beautiful colours. You can change the settings for brightness and colours for your own convenience. I have been working with the screen all day long for a week, on average 12h a day between work and personal use and is fantastic. Great quality in materials and technology. I know for some might be a bit expensive but is definitely worth it.
