This is a great lock, I did lots of research before buying it and it is the only lock that is actually angle grinder proof 🙂
Having this on a motorcycle in London is the bare minimum of security u can get this is a special lock and will not be broken easily it will take a really brave thief to challenge this lock recommended for anyone worried about bike theft in London or wherever for that matter.
Excellent, feels safe and secure! A tad heavy but that is to be expected with such a good lock.
It feels and looks the biz the second best dlock ..the best the hiplock 1000 is so much in demand you can’t get it but this is a good alternative a high quality lock
Item does what it says. No one has try to cut through it so I don’t know how sturdy it really is. However, it is doing the job right now, even if it is a deterrent.
This u-lock is a high quality item that should make stealing your property considerably more difficult.
This lock is a very good buyer totally recommended is it down story to this the bracket to the lock is very flimsy is swivels around on the bike when you are cycling it doesn’t say locking place in the bracke
I watched A LOT of reviews before purchasing these locks for our two bikes. Hopefully, these will persuade bike thieves with angle grinders to move on to another target. We shall see.
Easy to operate and it gives me peace of mind knowing I have a lock which can withstand power tools for a significant time, which will hopefully deter thieves.
Seems ok at the moment and the bike fitting onto which the lock is mounted when not in use has been ok. It’s quite secure when in that but takes a bit of effort to twist out and back in (though I think this is unavoidable as you want it to be secure). Bit worried about the reviews that mention difficulty in unlocking so I will watch for problems there
Is quite heavy but this is probably due to its method of construction (it’s very dense) and is reassuring.

It has proved it’s worth. One member of the scum fraternity has clearly attempted to remove the lock, probably with a hack saw. There are 1mm cuts in two different places and the theft attempt was thwarted. For now, I suppose. Whether the blade was blunted, or time was ticking, who knows. But the motorbike is still there. So clearly, the LITELOCK is doing its job. If an audible alarm was incorporated as well, it would be even better, but probably cost more. So, for now, very happy with my purchase.
Hopefully deter the little gits with a angle grinder.

For the people who need instructions and say it’s not easy to lock and unlock?? What planet are you from, it’s so simple a chimp could do it. Insert the key – two are provided – turn the lock and the main part releases. Push back on and turn the key.
Great product. Hefty so not light but it’s strong and with the new coating, it doesn’t rub away the paint work
Great weight to it not too heavy for this virtually impossible lock to cut or break.
