his is so much better than could be expected. even us as adults was wowed by it. i understand the price is steep but i would without a doubt buy again. my son loves it. he hasnt put it down since having it. shows how to love and look after animals and how the babies are born is very clever. love i

I looked everywhere trying to get this for my daughter for Christmas and managed to get it here at the last min. It’s really exciting when birthing the babies and it’s great cause you can speed up the birthing time to every ten mins instead of hours of waiting if your child is inpatient. Only downside is once they are all birthed and kids are bored of birthing them again, there isn’t that’s much you can do with them. Would be nice if they were more interactive but although my daughter doesn’t play with it as much now she still takes the hutch everywhere we go with mama and babies inside
This was a birthday present for my great granddaughter. She seems to love it especially the babies. Maybe alittle expensive with battery replacements but all in all she is enjoying it.
It’s a very clever idea but after Christmas it has sat on the shelf. The fact that the babies fall from the roof sparked a few conversations.
I think she will keep going back to it and it does look very cute.
This is a bit pricey for what it doesHOWEVER it’s the most played with toy from Christmas so I guess it’s value for money. We refilled the baby Guinea pig gifts with little sweeties so my daughter has her “giving birth” over and over again and loves her. She was the one thing she took to show and tell to school after Christmas – so therefore..:it’s a win from her! I’d say this is well pitched for age 4-5.I would say any older and you probably wont get your value for money in the same way
Bought for my 3 year old Grandaughter on the recommendation of another Grandparent. Seems perfect – hope she likes it!
Update: Babies do not drop always drop easily from pods. I have emailed the supplier for help.
My daughter absolutely adores this toy, and I can see why. It’s so sweet and cuddly, and the babies are extra cute. Got it for 6 year old’s birthday and now 9 year old is begging for one for her birthday too! It’s well made, very sweet and my daughter is the envy of all her little friends now!
Having read previous reviews, I was worried that we would do something wrong during the set up. Someone had said that they had cut something off the mum and the babies fell out? I’m not sure they are talking about the same toy. Nothing to cut, no where for the babies to come out.
The “birthing” can be set at every 10 minutes or 10 hours. My little one wasn’t patient enough for the 10 hour setting. When I say “birthing” I mean falling out of a little hatch in the roof of the hutch. The fact that these can be reloaded back into the compartment to be “reborn” multiple times was an added bonus.
