This keyboard is so pretty and sounds like a dream! It’s a must!
Great keyboard, it responds brilliantly! I love the lights and the look & just everything about it! It feels amazing quality! Personally i think it’s expensive for what it is but if you want a high quality keyboard then get this!
very comfortable to use, has 2 levels of feet at the back,
the software interface is very easy to use has multiple visual options i have not seen on other keyboards.
ive shown 3 of the options a “ripple” effect an audio visualiser (i turned the volume down in video for copyright reasons) and a colour cycle, the software has options to customise your lighting for each recognised game you have installed (the software does list all games its recognised) and all lighting can be customised.
keys themselves are double shot key caps with a very standard “reds” mechanical switch.
the removable plate would be a better feature if there were more colours available (i think there’s currently 2 others)..however nice that ypu can customize it to your likeing.
It attaches via small magnets and seems quite strong, dose not easily fall off.
the wrist rest although comfy, i do find the lumpy cloud shape a bit distracting
the dongle has a storage slot and battery life is reasonable as a long-term fan of a rival manufacturer (with very similar features) I’m very impressed with this keyboard
I anticipated that for nearly 175 the Logitech G G715 keyboard must be something rather special, and it certainly is! I have many Logitech products (keyboards, mice, and other accessories) and have always been impressed with the build, innovative designs and functions. They have been a leader in the computer accessory marketplace for nearly as many years as computers have existed.
The biggest initial surprise had to be the weight of the keyboard, it really is very heavy and it feels like the highest quality materials and build have been employed. It’s heavy and it’s also quite beautiful. I must confess that I am not a huge gamer but I am obsessed with LED lighting and when I turned the keyboard on I was fairly bowled over by the stunning lighting effects and the lovely rich colours.
With the keyboard you get a rather unusual wrist support which has been designed to look like clouds. It may look a bit gimmicky but actually it is comfortable to use and I get the reasoning behind the design. You also get a very long USB cable which has a USB-C to USB-A adapter. Other than that you just get a dongle that’s used to create a wireless link (Bluetooth & Lightspeed Wireless). The ‘dongle’ is tucked into the underneath of the keyboard for safe keeping.
As per usual I find that Logitech, in common with many brands these days, don’t seem to consider that a user manual is required. That may actually be the case with a lot of plug & play computer gear but I do find the scant and not terribly intuitive diagrams (no words) rather irritating, I find them confusing and I am sure others might too. In the box you get several sheets of printed paper that ramble on in many languages about the product’s compliances (which I would wager all my pocket money on that nobody ever reads!). I would much rather have received the manual to be the printed inclusion, not all the multilingual compliance waffle. However, you can go on to the Logitech website and download a PDF of the User Manual which I recommend you should do. You’ve got to go on the website to get the G Hub software anyways.
You need to download the G Hub software program to fully setup the keyboard. There’s a fairly small executable installation file which, when you run it, goes off and downloads nearly 200Mb of program. It’s all very easy to install though. Pop in the dongle and turn the keyboard on and your keyboard will be ‘discovered’ by the app. You can elect to use either Wireless or Bluetooth Wireless, which is a great feature, and surely that’s got to be the ‘way foreard’ with computer accessories.
I haven’t been into all the options that are available to customise the keyboard’s LED lighting effects and functionality (as there’s so much you can do!) but nevertheless I spent about half an hour being impressed at the amazing amount of control you have over the keyboard’s features. I must play around with that more when I get the time. I found some useful online videos where people have posted some of the things you can do with the G715.
I received the “tactile” version and I must say that the keyboard is an absolute delight to hammer away on. It’s has a comforting click with ‘proper’ key depresses and the whole experience is probably close to the best that I have ever had with a keyboard. My normal keyboard is the Logitech K800 (I have two of them) and the only thing I immediately noticed with the G715 was that the keys are more closely arranged. That will take me a little time to get totally comfortable with but it’s just a matter of getting used to it. I can’t fault the G715 physically at all… it’s fantastic.
A small detail that really impressed me is the two-tilt positions that are available underneath the keyboard. Obviously you can elect to have the keyboard flat on the desk but there are also dual tilt-feet. The smaller foot gives you a 4 angle/tilt and the larger foot folds out to give you an 8 angle. It’s a great design, and again, I wish it was on more keyboard products.
This is an expensive keyboard for sure, but you do get a good sense of what you are paying for. It’s the stunning performance, the feel of absolute quality and thought that has been put into the design features… and those LED lighting effect, well they are mesmerising, truly impressive. As you have probably gathered by now, this keyboard is getting a full-featured 5 Star rating from me. It’s a state of the art product and takes computer keyboards to another level.
Lovely keyboard, couldn’t find a nice white keyboard for ages until this one came out. Perfect for my setup.
This is a great 80% sized gaming mechanical keyboard. The build quality of this keyboard is absolutely incredible. It is made of a high quality plastic, and in white. And includes Logitech’s lightsync RGB feature, which provides a nice colour through the keys. It looks bright even in daylight, and highlights WASD in a contrast colour to the rest of the keyboard.
It includes Gx Brown Tactile key switches, which are very satisfying and provide solid feedback.
The key spacing makes it comfortable for typing and the included wrist rest is a lovely addition. It is very useful and improves the usability of the keyboard greatly. Improving your hand angle, as the keys are very tall.
The keyboard also has a significant weight to it, incredibly sturdy, so it will not be sliding on your desk at all.
The keyboard can connect by bluetooth or through the USB received. I struggled to connect via bluetooth, but I think that was more of an issue with my laptop than the keyboard.
The keyboard also features a short jet that can switch between the two,so you toggle between two devices on fly.
The wireless connection is seamless. The battery life is very decent, around 20 hours, but of course it depends on how you use it. I wasn’t sure if I’d use the additional media keys but they’ve actually been pretty useful.
Been using for just over two weeks now , In terms of performance and using the keyboard, it’s been a great pleasure and joy to use, I must say it’s a fantastic product.
Lighting fast it is, super responsive.
This is solid built and well rounded edges.
You can use G HUB softeare for your macro, which is limit to the 12 function keys only.
Comes with Lightspeed USB dongle and also support bluetooth and wired.
The roller volume control is super cool too, perhaps a light indicator here would be nice.
The LED lights on key and base too, making it really stand out.
The memory foam style cloud arm/palm rest also super comfy.
Price is reasonable at 175 – better to get the mouse separately, as both on promotion.
Would be great if they bundle up the 4 family ( mouse, mic and heatset )
This is excellent. Perfect for gaming and it is really good quality.
The Logitech G715 is stunning. It’s very very white and would look fantastic with any white-themed setup. The RGB lights look very good, I have to say I’ve never seen the under-keyboard lighting before and it looks awesome. It’s a really great way to amplify your computer theme over just RGB keycaps. The illuminated volume roller is just the cherry on top.
The keys are satisfying to press. I’m a programmer and have gone through many keyboards over the years, specifically mechanical keyboards. I received the tactile key switches and would say they are about equivalent to Cherry MX Brown keys. If you’ve never used a mechanical keyboard before you’ll never go back once you do.
All of the keys are in a good position and I haven’t run into issues with accidental key presses. The images in the listing show an American layout with a small enter key but rest assured the version received from here is a proper UK layout with a full-size enter key.
Being able store the dongle inside the keyboard itself is great if you need to travel with it, though it isn’t the lightest. It has a good weight to it and feels sturdy.
The palm rest is an unusual design. It’s nice and comfortable to use but it’s design I guess is a matter of taste.
Overall this is a stunning, high quality keyboard that is wonderful to type on.
Love the colours on this keyboard and the way it flashes got this for my son for Xmas he’s gonna love it also the arm rest is very comfortable would definitely recommend
for true gamers.
There is no point in looking at or buying this keyboard if you are not a pro or a regular gamer.
It is only a good investment if you are someone from the above list.
Logitech is known for building great-quality keyboards and other computer-related accessories and it turned out that this keyboard is not an exception too. I previously owned non-gaming Logitech keyboards and they often lasted forever. This is the first time for me trialing a gamer keyboard from this brand. My short verdict is that this keyboard is as good as other keyboards from this company. Quality, lasting materials, and ergonomics in every single element.
The quality of this keyword is very good.
It is, however, quite heavy, but this sturdiness is needed when you are playing for long hours and your keyboard does not zig-zag on your desk.
Overall, a very good quality keyboard from the leading brand.
By the feel and experience, it has very high and leading specs that are only useful for gamers.
The design kind of appeals to me as it reminds me of a mechanical keyboard dating back at least 15 years ago when Windows XP was still alive and installed in almost every desk computer at that time. So this keyboard is quite nostalgic as I used to play a lot of Counter-Strike and I can relate to how important a good keyboard is.
This, to my surprise, is a very good-quality keyboard with some bonus specs:
– 25 hr wireless battery capacity (more than a full day’s worth of gaming :))
– mechanical switches
– volume roller (loved it)
– under case lighting (this was not the case 15-20 years ago)
This is so good, the colours etc are brilliant and the patterns it makes, very bright also!
Excellent Wireless Mechanical Gaming Keyboard, very easy to use, very soft buttons, dynamic and classic design, Rechargeable keyboard last for long hours up to 24 hours, very fast Bluetooth and wireless connection,
the buttons perfectly designed to apply less effort while typing, each key provided with a light which makes the gaming or typing experience more dynamic and fashion, I love the volume roller looks very nice to adjust the volume level you need to roll it forward or backwards . The keyboard size is good, but it’s not lightweight which believe gives is more stability while working on the keyboard, a beautiful and soft cloud-shaped palm rest included.
Very satisfied, recommended!
I love this cute white keyboard it looks great in any gaming set up the rgb lights are beautiful on this you will not regret buying I have used this for over a month now and still in great working conditio
I bought this keyboard as I’m a Logitech fangirl and I prefer to have Logitech peripherals.
I chose this keyboard mainly for the aesthetic. I’m going for a white/pink theme in my office.
While it is a little on the pricier side, I didn’t feel that I wasted my money. I’ve been gaming on his keyboard for a few days now and it’s incredibly responsive and smooth. The linear switches sound a dream.
I do enjoy playing around with the RGB customisation in LG HUB, and I settled on a star transition theme, with a pink “sky” and blue “stars”, which is the theme you see in the pictures I took.
The wrist rest is a nice added touch. I didn’t have a wrist rest on my old keyboard but now I feel that I was missing out. My hand feels much more comfortable using it. A bonus is that it looks very adorable.
This is just first impressions as this product has just released.
Build quality is great, high quality plastic.
The switches feel very nice and thocky, i got gateron brown clicky switches.
The battery life without RGB from 100% last about 700 hours and 24 hours on max RGB.
Unfortunately, there doesn’t seem to be a way to change the slider on the top right, its volume control by default.
The provided wrist rest is a nice added touch i guess, but i feel like it was chucked in to feel like you got good stuff for your money because this is really expensive.
First impressions but it seems like a very good product but overpriced for sure.
I think this would be a good value purchase if it was 100 – 120. 169 is the extra premium.
You won’t be unhappy with the product to be honest.
