Put these on and you hear nothing from the outside world, pretty nice sound quality and overall a good gaming experience with them. The box did come damaged but more so the shipping’s fault. Didn’t damage the headset itself.
The sound of the headset its self is really high definition and bassy and clear. The only thing that lets this headset down is the mic quality isn’t the best I have had a few friends complain about it.
Can be worn for long times with great comfort with the memory phone adapters.
Seems to be good quality and build feel out of the box, very comfy and choice of ear pads.
Can be a bit of a struggle changing the pads out but got them in eventually.
The quality of the mic is brilliant and a lot better on calls compared to the last headset.
Great quality. Logitech is a brand you can trust. Very comfy to wear, has great sound, perfect for games or music. I play a lot of fps games and this headset just allows me to hear the enemy and easily say where his steps/engine noise is coming from, giving me a bit of an advantage. One of the best headsets I’ve ever used. And for this price? look no further !!

I’ve returned many headsets on my journey to replace my hyperx cloud 2s (were good headphones until hp bought hyperx), and this Logitech PRO X headset is what I’m settled with!
Construction & Comfort:
I am very pleased in the quality and materials of the headset! A mostly metal construction with high quality plastic where metal is not present, very smooth finish on the metal and plastic.
I am very dissapointed to find the cables are plain plastic insulation, and are not braided. The external DAC is made of a cheap plastic and the seams between the two pieces are VERY obvious, perhaps several millimetres wide.
The notches on the adjustable earpieces from the headband firmly hold in place, although I do find it easy for it to skip a notch or two when adjusting, perhaps the notch could do with a spring to fix that, but its just a side effect of it staying in the notch you leave it in.
The headset has a mildly noticeable pressure point on the centre of the headpiece on the top of your head, but its not so bad when you get the adjustment right for your head.
I immediately swapped the leatherette pads for the velour pads as I wear glasses, however I can confirm that the leatherette earpads indeed feel “premium” compared to my old headset which also had leatherette pads. The pads were extremely difficult to change however, although I imagine that’s the same for other headphones (I have not changed headset earpads before, can’t confirm), and it took me a few minutes to get each pad fitted, but they certainly aren’t coming off on their own.
The headset has slightly more clamp force than my old headset, but that may just be because its worn in due to how long I’ve been using it for. I do find it more than adequate for using with glasses though (velour pads, no idea how the leatherette ones are).
SOUND QUALITY:
Despite being a 50mm driver, it has no unnecessary bass-boosting and the sound is VERY natural. Sounds I previously could not hear on my old headphones (also 50mm) in particular videos and games due to being drowned out by other frequencies are now very clear. The surround sound is also extremely good and actively gives a 3d feel to the sound unlike other headphones with “surround” sound, and unlike other headphones, I didn’t need to install any drivers or push any buttons, the surround sound is just there!
I don’t know if its a fault of the headset or some kind of software issue, but I can hear myself when using the microphone when in a discord call, yet it only occurs with this headset and within discord calls. I cannot find anyone else who has had this issue before online so
I’ll edit my review when I figure out what the issue is.
In conclusion
A fantastic headset for the price! The headset itself is fantastic in build quality and design, the micrphone is crisp, although SEVERELY lacks noice cancelling, and the fabric cover does very little as it is quite thin.
The cable is not braided and has cheap plastic insulation (my logitech G502 X Lightspeed mouse has higher quality plastic insulation on its charging cable) and the DAC casing is made from cheap plastic and the mould leaves very wide gaps between the two halves of the casing
So. I am very used to using a razor kraken x headset. And whilst it’s served me well for the last 2 years. This headset makes me wish I’d gone for this last time.
I’m not a proper audiophile. But I can for sure appreciate great quality sound. And this is for me ten out of ten.
Would fully recommend just for the sound quality.
The headset itself feels well made and fairly sturdy. Nice and comfy on the ears too.
Perfect to find me some freshie fun on dayz!
Noise cancel quality seems good. Not total. But more than enough that I’ve not had issues. Other than the gf trying to get my attention whilst im wearing them.
If you are just plugging in with the 3.5mm, for example into an Xbox controller, it is tolerable – not terrible.
If you are plugging in to a PC with the USB adapter, you have a lot EQ and customisation for the speakers and mic. There is also the option to enable surround sound but it kind of sounds like you are listening through a bubble so I don’t enable it.
Like other Logitech gaming products, you can save your settings to the device itself so you don’t have to have the software running all the time.
Regarding comfort and build, this is super comfy. Even after a few hours of gaming it doesn’t get uncomfortable, though I can see myself getting sweaty in summer with this.
Pros
– Great build
– Very comfortable
– Cable length is long and not braided/scratchy (unlike the HyperX headsets)
– Sound is great when paried with the software and USB adapter
– Nice variety of microphone settings
– Nice soft pouch
Cons
– Surround sound is not all that great – I prefer it off
– If you don’t have access to the app its not all that great sounding
Compared to other headsets:
– Kingston HyperX Cloud 2 (not the HP model)
This is still my favourite for build, comfort and earcup sound. The Cloud 2 has a more scooped sound signature compared to the Logitech which out of the box is more low-mid boosted and muddy. Mic is better on the Logitech G Pro X and I prefer the cable too. This lasted 5 years and the cable is pretty much dead.
– Razer Barracuda X (2022 model onwards)
This has an equally good mic and is better sounding than the Logitech without software – I would say it has a more neutral sound signature. The Barracuda X also has bluetooth and a wireless receiver, though it is not so reliable and I just used it in wired mode. The biggest difference though is the build – I would have kept the Barracuda X but after 1 week I could hear something rattling (maybe a loose screw?) inside one of the earcups, so returned it instantly – typical Razer quality.
– Kingston HyperX Cloud Alpha S (HP model)
This has great build and comfort quality on par with the Logitech G Pro X. However the sound is horrendous. I can’t hear any bass and it is too mid focused and muddy. Since HP took over apparently they found it hard to get the same drivers as before due to supply chain issues, but whatever it is they put in just sounds terrible. All other headsets are far better options and I returned the Cloud Alpha S the day I received it.
— Conclusion —
Buy these if its on sale (got mine for 60 quid). They have good audio and when tweaked with software it can be great audio. Comfort is great and has sturdy construction. Only downside is plugging this with just the 3.5mm jack can sound a bit meh which could be a deal breaker if you are playing on Xbox.
I recently purchased the Logitech G Pro Headset, and I am thrilled to share my positive experience with this exceptional gaming audio gear. As a passionate gamer, I had high expectations for a headset that claims to be part of the Logitech G Pro series, and I must say that it exceeded those expectations in every aspect.
First and foremost, the audio quality of the Logitech G Pro Headset is nothing short of outstanding. The precision and clarity of the sound make every gaming session immersive and enjoyable. The headset delivers a rich and dynamic audio experience, allowing me to hear every footstep, gunshot, and dialogue with remarkable precision. Whether I’m engrossed in an intense first-person shooter or enjoying the nuances of a story-driven game, the headset’s audio quality truly enhances the gaming experience.
Comfort during extended gaming sessions is a crucial factor for me, and the Logitech G Pro Headset excels in this department. The lightweight design and plush ear cups make for a comfortable fit, even during marathon gaming sessions. The adjustable headband ensures a snug yet not overly tight fit, and the breathable material prevents discomfort caused by heat buildup, allowing me to focus on the game without distraction.
One standout feature of the Logitech G Pro Headset is its impressive build quality. The durable construction, reinforced with premium materials, instills confidence in the headset’s longevity. The flexible and detachable microphone adds a layer of convenience, allowing me to communicate with my teammates clearly while gaming and easily stowing it away when not needed.
The Logitech G Pro Headset also excels in terms of versatility. Its compatibility with various platforms, including PC, consoles, and mobile devices, makes it a versatile choice for gamers with diverse gaming setups. The plug-and-play functionality and intuitive controls further enhance the user-friendly experience.
Lastly, the sleek and minimalist design of the Logitech G Pro Headset adds a touch of sophistication to its overall appeal. It’s a headset that not only performs exceptionally well but also looks great, complementing any gaming rig.
In conclusion, the Logitech G Pro Headset has proven to be a stellar investment for any gamer seeking top-notch audio quality, comfort, and durability. Logitech has once again demonstrated its commitment to delivering high-quality gaming peripherals, and the G Pro Headset stands out as a testament to their dedication. I wholeheartedly recommend the Logitech G Pro Headset to fellow gamers who prioritize audio excellence and comfort in their gaming setup.
My eldest advised me on these as he is on his second set and likes them. Am used to cheaper sets so was pleasantly surprised by the sound quality, especially with the usb lead. My friends while playing on line say my voice is now very loud and they have had to turn the sound down on discord.
My only grumble is that being bald i need to wear a cap as the headband is not well padded
I’ve used this headset for well over 2 years now, not a single show of it’s age in sound quality or wear and tear and it’s definitely getting put through it’s paces I play almost every day for 6 hours+ and more on the weekends or time off.
The mic that comes with it is solid on it’s own but combine it with something like Voicemeeter and you truly have what sounds like a condenser microphone within a headset. I’ve recommended this headset to 4 or 5 of my friends who have all purchased and never gone back and said they don’t want any other headset.
It was on a 50% deal so the value was insane, the sound is excellent, good for directional sound, blocks outside noise well, comfortable to wear, and mates tell me the mic is pretty clear too. Aux wire connecting the headset to the computer can be removed and changed so if it gets busted you don’t have to buy a new headset which is nice
As soon as these headphones arrived, I noticed the plethora of accessories provided, and also noted the absolutely astonishing quality of the materials used. The headphones feel really solid, and are incredibly comfortable. The mic quality is fantastic, right out of the box.
When you use the USB dongle and plug it into a computer, you can use the Logitech G software, with provides you with a large amount of options for these headphones, and has presets for different audio and microphone settings.
These headphones are easy to use right out of the box, and a must buy for anyone that needs reliable and comfortable gaming headphones, that maintain a good level of style.
Love these headphones! Amazing quality for everything I have come across! Would highly recommend!
The headset is comfortable can go loud with high quality audio, great for gaming. The volume control could be a little better. I do have a volume mixer on my controller so it’s an easy way round for me but people who don’t will have to play around in settings when they want to move game to game. It’s not a massive issue when you’ve got such a high quality headset for a very good price.
Bought theses for my 19yr old son in the black Friday sale , he loves them ,great sound quality ,and value for money.
Very good gaming headset using it for the ps5 and it is top tier comfortable and sound quality is nice
The sound quality is amazing with the software allowing for an array of customisation.
That being said, the only downfall is that Logitech does not currently do official replacement ear pads for this headset. However the leather quality is good and does last a long time. Furthermore there is a selection of two different pairs of ear pads that do come with the headset.
These are amazing for the price, the sound quality and build quality are great. 100% recommend
Got it to replace my Razer Kraken v2’s and I’m very happy with the purchase. The amount of customisation options (through the G Hub software) is really good. You can adjust the headset’s audio and mic separately or download custom profiles for each, which means that you can tailor it to suit your needs. The surround sound isn’t the best and isn’t as good as the Kraken’s but it’s still decent. I got it on sale for 70 and for that price, it’s definitely worth it. Not sure I would’ve bought it for the full asking price
Works perfect across PS5/Series X and through PC. Really good through PC and the included AMP USB and use of the Logitech Software. You notice a real improvement on mic and little tweaks you can make.
settings in windows was a long journey but now is ok.
The bass of the headphones is really nice, it also has really good sound quality which are both perfect for listening to music. For the main purpose: Gaming, it is great, the surround sound is great and brings immersion. If there were anything that sounded off with it, it can be easily adjusted with their easy to use Logitech G Hub application.
I like the sound and quality of it. I had Logitech speakers, keyboard and mouse and now this headphones. Its not only about product efficiency, it is also about quality. I was a bit skeptic after reading some reviews but i wanted them and I am pleased with it.
Yes, the cable with volume control is not so loud but inserted in the usb pro device, it makes a big difference.
The rubber cord. It might get damaged over the time. Yet i had the speakers cords for years and they did not break. So these will get damaged when you get tierd and want something new. I dont say a life time but 2 – 3 years, yes they will hold.
I’ve never cared much about audio / mic quality before, used whatever I had to hand, earphones etc. A year or so ago decided to buy a budget headset, so picked up a pair of Turtle Beach Recon 70X, this has worked just fine, but I have an Xbox Series X, and a PlayStation 5 now, and wanted to take advantage of the advances in audio immersion for this new console generation, as this is all to improve the experience.
I looked at a LOT of different headsets, wired and wireless, and reviews from many articles, videos, discussions etc, I eventually settled on the Steel Series Arctis 7X as this was well reviewed, and was confirmed to work well (it’s wireless) between Xbox and PS5. After paying 157 for it, I wasn’t happy, the sound quality was way better than my Recon 70X, but the mic was worse. Not the fault of the headset, but being wireless I had to move the dongle between the consoles, I change between them quite often so this was a pain. i returned the Steel Series and the search continued.
Focused on just looking at wired headsets to avoid switching dongles and charging, and settled on this headset. I couldn’t be happier, first of all I got it on deal, and a third of the price of the Steel Series, secondly the sound quality is just as good as the Arctis 7X, and the mic is better. The headset itself is very comfortable too. The sound is certainly immersive, and you can really feel explosions / gunshots (Halo), and the general sounds while exploring caves and castles (Demon Souls).
I haven’t used the Blue mic yet, as this is only supported on PC, but the one on the wire is great.
If you are gamer looking for a decent headset with good value for money, and you don’t want the trouble of messing around wireless headsets, this is the one.
Lightspeed Mice are slick my battery lasts 7 months and i hammer mine..
Now the G-Pro X-
I found the comfort to be good with plush pleather pads, a little tight but no pain.
The microphone is quality, I get comments from Teammates about how good I sound.
If you are a Headset Shouter the ‘Side Tone’ setting will quieten you and is useful.
I ran the mic settings, the quality is good from the start and can be really great.
I get compliments on my (Blue) Microphone quality often.
The headset gives great accurate music and film quality.
The (virtual) surround sound is great,
I know how to setup the equaliser and Atmos etc. on PC,
Surround sound is great and getting better, I’m slowly setting it up to be optimised.
One gripe – it can go frighteningly loud especially when the EQ is Tuned to FPS
(by me, not the headset setting that is average at best)
Atmos struggles to Volume Limit when going from silence then sharp sounds when it’s set real loud.
I recommended Atmos using Stereo Headsets it’s better than 7.1 for most listening.
If you are low budget the (often) 30 cheapest Logitech 7.1 wired headset (G433?) are an excellent alternative,
their value and sound is great.
Turn off headset surround, go CUSTOM New Equaliser
Logitech Settings –
New Equaliser 80:3 240:0 750:5 2200:6 6600:9
Buy a Dolby License.
Dolby Access –

Use either or both with Sound Virtualiser and Volume Leveler on, turn your Volume down and your ears will come alive.
No, thank you!
I’ll be honest; Logitech hadn’t figured highly in my hotlist of gaming headset manufacturers. Don’t get me wrong; I love their products, and I own a superb webcam, mouse and keyboard. It was on the off-chance that I looked at these, based on a friend’s recommendation of his experience of Logitech gaming headsets (he owned a different model, but pointed me in the right direction, thankfully). Satisfied by the praise and largely positive/5 out-of-5 reviews, I took the plunge and purchased these from Amazon.
The item arrived much sooner than anticipated (thanks, Amazon!), and I was curious, if not, a little indifferent about what I would expect to find and hear.
The packaging and presentation of the headset inspired confidence that what was enclosed was of a high quality. With the contents fully unpacked, it was clear that Logitech had produced something truly exceptional and worth the modest price tag.
The headset feels of a very high build quality, definitely surpassing what you’d expect for this price bracket. There are several attachments, and ear pads, accompanied by a nice bag to ferry the headset and said accessories in. The clamping force is reassuring and comfortable, and I didn’t have to worry about the headset slipping off. The headset was very comfortable and I can imagine long gaming sessions not to be marred by a sore cranium. The headset doesn’t have any functional switches on the ear cups, enforcing the desired minimalistic design, other than the inline volume control dial, and mute switch. I find this design very pleasing and it means not having to scramble around with your hands looking to flick a switch, or adjust a dial mounted on an ear cup – this can be so distracting in-game.
Now in a state of excitement, but still reserving my judgement, I plugged the headset in to my PlayStation 4 Pro. I didn’t make any adjustments to the audio quality using Logitech’s software, which by the way, offers a myriad of customisation to both sound and mic. The out-of-the-box audio was stunning! I could tell from the off that this headset meant business and I was in for an audible feast. The sound is extremely well balanced, the soundstage vibrant, the bass punchy and present. I played CoD: Modern Warfare Remastered, and the headset breathed a new dimension into the game for me. As cliche as it sounds, I really could hear details not heard before, and I felt I was at an advantage now.
I am someone with very high expectations, and I can honestly say that this product meets and surpasses them in many respects. If you’re a little put off by the price, I’d say, take the plunge and invest in a high-quality, worth-every-penny product. I doubt you’ll regret it.
