Man empfngt alles was man braucht. Sieht optisch gut aus.
Mit diesem Radio kann man fr diesen Preis nichts falsch machen. Klang ist toll und ber die Klangregelung fr den eigenen Geschmack einstellbar.Empfang ist auch gut und die Empfangsstrke wird mit kleinen Balken im Display angezeigt.Buetooth ist auch an Bord und funktioniert einwandfrei. Menuefhrung ist auf Deutsch einstellbar und sehr bersichtlich und verstndlich. Das Display ist gut lesbar und scharf,Helligkeit ist auch einstellbar. Was soll ich sagen…habe 4 gekauft fr verschiedene Gelegenheiten, eins verschenkt und der Beschenkte ist begeistert.Eine klare Empfehlung.
War auf der Suche nach einem kleinen DAB Radio fr das Bad mit der Mglichkeit der Schaltung ber eine schaltbare Steckdose.
Dieses Radio ist dafr bestens geeignet.

Das Gert ist absolut super, preiswert und doch stylisch, leicht zu bedienen, ich habe es in dunkelgrau.
Perfect size for us to have in the kitchen, to keep the dog company during the day. Finds digital channels easily. Sound is ok. (Nothing special, but certainly not tinny). Only real issue we have is it eats batteries. Didn’t want to use mains power because of electric costs soaring. Thought batteries would be better. But new Duracell batteries (4 X AA) will last one day before battery low light pops up. It will last another half day before dying, leaving us searching for more batteries and the dog searching to hear his favourite songs!
For the price this is a good radio, I think it looks good and sounds good, It was easy to set up and there are plenty of preset options, One thing that some people may not like is that the lowest light setting may be too bright for a bedroom at night. this is not a problem for me though, All in all I really like this radio and recommend i
This is an excellent DAB radio, looks good and the sound quality is surprisingly good for a small speaker. Setup was quick and simple, the controls are intuitive an easy to read (my aged mother in law has no problems with it and she’s pretty much a technophobe. It also doubles as an alarm clock, which is a nice touch as its modest size makes this good for travelling.
Das Internet Radio der Marke Mangokit kommt gut geschtzt an.
Es handelt sich hierbei um ein DAB/DAB+ Internetradio/Digitalradio mit Bluetooth.
Vor dem Bestellen kann man sich zwischen zwei unterschiedlichen Farben entscheiden.
Das Radio hat eine einwandfreie Verarbeitung und zumindest war mein Exemplar vollkommen frei von jeglichen Verarbeitungsfehler.
Weiterhin ist das Material sehr berzeugend.
Sie ist robust und sieht in der Farbe sehr gut und hochwertig aus.
Die Lautsprecher sind sicherlich kein High End aber ordentlich fr die kompakte Gre.
Auch eine Anbindung ber Bluetooth ist problemlos mglich.
Das Radio ist sowohl optisch als auch Funktionen her perfekt geeignet fr die Kche.
Beim Kochen kann man entweder Radio hren oder spielt ber Bluetooth seine Lieblingslieder ab.
Alles in allem ein sehr modernes aber gleichzeitig auch ein schlichtes Internet Radio, welches durch die gewissen Extra Funktionen sehr berzeugt.
Mit dem zentralen Dreh-/Drcksteller werden fast alle Einstellungen vorgenommen und auch durch die Senderliste kann damit einfach der gewnschte Sender ausgewhlt werden. Das ist sehr gut, denn in Gegenden mit sehr vielen Programmen sind die vorhandenen Speicherpltze (20 DAB und 20 UKW) schnell alle belegt.
Der Empfang ist sehr gut. Alle bei mir offiziell” empfangbaren DAB-Sender werden erstklassig wiedergegeben. Auch die UKW-Sender, die bei mir zu empfangen sind, kommen alle sehr gut rein. In problematischen Gegenden kommt die lang ausziehbare Antenne einem guten Empfang zugute. Auf dem Display werden alle Informationen angezeigt, die die Sender mitsenden (wie z. B. bei DAB die Sendernamen und die Senderlogos, der aktuell gesendete Musiktitel, die Empfangsfrequenz, die gesendete Bitrate, die Empfangsqualitt und vieles mehr). Bei UKW-Sendern sieht man die blichen RDS-Daten wie Sendername, aktueller Titel usw.
Weiterhin kann man im Men u. a. auch die Batteriekapazitt in Prozent abrufen. Rund vier Stunden kann man mit Batterien DAB-Radio hren, UKW-Radio ein wenig lnger. Leider hat das Radio keinen mechanischen An-/Ausschalter, sodass auch bei abgeschaltetem Radio bzw. im Standby-Betrieb Energie verbraucht wird. So kann es passieren, dass nach einigen Tagen Standby-Betrieb nicht mehr viel Batteriekapazitt brigbleibt. Nach einer knappen Woche ausschlielich im Standby-Betrieb sind die Batterien komplett leer.
brigens funktionieren neben AA- bzw. Mignon-Batterien auch Akkus mit der gleichen Baugre. Die Batterien oder die Akkus sind einfach und ohne Fummelei schnell einzulegen und wieder zu entfernen. Eine Ladefunktion besitzt das Radio nicht.
Der Klang ist fr so ein kleines Gert ist erstaunlich gut. Man kann den Klang sogar mittels eines einfachen Equalizers” nach eigenen Wnschen einstellen und abspeichern. Voreinstellungen sind auch vorhanden. ber den eingebauten Lautsprecher hort man natrlich nur einen Mono-Ton, aber ber den (Kopfhrer-)Klinkenstecker wird der Ton in Stereo ausgegeben.
Das Koppeln eines Bluetooth-Senders (z. B. ein Smartphone) funktioniert schnell und einfach. Auch hier ist der Klang gut und ohne strende Nebengerusche.
Insgesamt ein tolles DAB-/UKW-Radio. Ich vergebe gerne gute 4 Sterne. Mit einem mechanischen An-/Ausschalter, zustzlich zum Standby-Betrieb (der ja fr die vorhandene, dauerhafte Zeitspeicherung und somit fr die Wecker- und Timernutzung ntig ist), wren es optimale 5 Sterne geworden. Wer die Batterie-/Akkunutzung als Zusatznutzen ansieht und das Radio hauptschlich am Netzstrom nutzt, macht mit diesem Radio absolut nichts falsch.
This DAB digital radio was easy to set up, over 100 stations A to Z, not all available, but most of them.
Got the alarm set to wake me up, which starts quietly and gets progressively louder, then just press the main dial to put it on snooze, you can set the snooze for different lengths of time, 5, 10, minutes etc…..
It’s a little bit tinny, but overall a nice little radio, compact, mains and battery operated.
A little overpriced for 35 in my opinion, it’s just an average radio.
This is a lovely little protable DAB radio with an alarm clock also attached to it. Its quite compact and gives a reasonable reception, you can aso use as a bluetooth speaker. You can run it off the mains or off battery so would be ideal to take on a picnic or a day out as it wont take up much room. it has a full colour screen and is easy and clear to see. If you want to keep it to yourself then you are able to plug in your earphones to listen to it. It comes complete with the instructions a USB cable and also a USB plug to use in a mains socket. I found this reasonably easy to understand and its not a bad price for what you ge
The radio arrived safely, and it comes neatly packed inside a well-illustrated retail box, nice enough to be given as a gift to someone. Along with the radio you get a 1m Type-A to Micro USB cable, UK mains plug, and the user guide. The user guide explains all the features and how to use them and although its not that well translated its still easy enough to understand.
The overall quality of the radio is surprisingly decent for its price and its quite a smart looking device, I really like the charcoal colour. The plastics used are good and don’t feel too cheap, the buttons and dial provide nice feedback when pressed/turned, the display is clear and easy to read, it’s got two very grippy feet on the base, and in general I’m very pleased with the quality of it.
It can be powered by four AA batteries or by using the included power cable and plug. It’s a shame for a device so modern to still use a micro-USB socket for the power input, Type-C would have been better but it’s not a big deal. It’s very portable though and weighs in at just 428g without batteries.
As soon as I turned the radio on for the first time it performed an auto scan of available DAB stations and it was ready to use, I didn’t even need to set the date and time. You can choose between three listening modes by pressing the Source button: DAB, FM radio, or Bluetooth and you can plug a pair of headphones into the rear if you don’t want to use the speakers. I couldn’t work out how to perform an autoscan in FM mode, the user guide says to press the select button, but it just mutes the audio instead, I can still manually tune it though.
To change between the stations in DAB mode you just press the next/previous track button and the displays shows a station list which you can scroll through using the wheel and push it in to select the station you want. You can also save up to 20 pre-set stations for both FM and DAB modes (40 in total).
The audio quality is excellent for its size, the speakers sound very clear, and the volume goes high enough that you could be shouting to someone close by and still not be heard properly, its more than acceptable. Although there is barely any bass, music still sounds full enough to be enjoyed and no matter what volume level you choose it never distorts.
Both DAB and FM reception is ok, I don’t get the strongest signal compared to other radios ive used but the aerial is a lot smaller on this one and I can still always find some signal if I move the aerial around a bit so its nothing too bad.
Overall, I think this is an excellent little radio and it ticks all the right boxes for me, I especially like the design and the fact it has a colour screen. For around 35 I feel it represents good value for money and I’m sure some people would think it costs more with how nice it looks. It’s a product I’m more than happy to recommend and I feel its easily worth the full five stars, buy with total confidence!
Wirklich angenehmer Klang, den man sogar mit EQ etwas an seine Bedrfnisse anpassen kann. Zur Raumbeschallung (z.b. der Kche) reicht locker die Hlfte der Lautstrke. Wenn man Mal richtig aufdreht hrt man alles laut und klar in ber 100m und mehreren Rume verteilt.
Das Einspielen per Bluetooth klappt auch gut ber mehrere Rume und fngt erst bei Distanzen ber 10m an zu stocken, wenn sich Wnde dazwischen befinden. Die Antenne hab ich sogar hinter den Hngeschrank gesteckt ohne Empfangseinbuen oder Aussetzern.
Bin voll zu Frieden mit dem Radio jetzt kann das alte FM Radio endlich in den Ruhestand.
This radio is nice and compact, it was easy to set up. I have mine in a constant place at home so I have it plugged in via the included USB cable. You can however use AA batteries to power it which allows you to take it travelling with you.
Once you have pulled out the antennae and switched it on, it automatically searches for all the available channels and displays them in a nice list you can choose from. The display is very bright and clear and all the buttons are good quality with a nice, satisfying click when you press them. The good buttons with the display make navigating and using the radio much easier.
There are 3 preset buttons, 2 of which can go to a specific channel and the third shows your list of preset channels, there is also an info button which gives information about the current channel, a source button which allows you to change between DAB, FM and Bluetooth. In the middle is a knob which controls the volume and it can also be pressed to turn the radio on and off as well as select an item in the menu.
If you are looking for a high quality, compact radio, this is a great choice.

It can be mains powered or batteries so ideal for holidays and being in the garden etc.

+ das Radio sieht in natura genauso aus wie auf den Produktfotos
+ es ist ordentlich verarbeitet und hat eine solide Qualitt
+ seine Bedienung ist kinderleicht und selbsterklrend
+ man kann das Radio mit Netzstecker oder kabellos mithilfe von AA-Batterien betreiben, was ich sehr praktisch finde
+ die Einstellung der Radiosender geht schnell und einfach und die Sender werden unkompliziert gefunden
+ das Radio hat trotz seines gnstigen Preises ein Farbdisplay, das sich sehr gut ablesen lsst
+ die Klangqualitt des Radios ist sehr ordentlich und angesichts des Preises richtig klasse
+ man kann das Radio bei Bedarf sogar als Wecker nutzen, was ich sehr praktisch finde

Ich finde, dass man ein tolles Radio fr relativ wenig Geld bekommt. Fr meine Zwecke ist das Radio ideal und da ich es nur wrmstens weiterempfehlen kann, vergebe ich verdiente 5 Sterne.

This portable radio’s features are spot on, as stated in its product details, so there is nothing to complain about it. It has clear audio, easy to set, has basic info on its LED screen, and DAB, FM Radio, and Bluetooth mode work perfectly fine with Spotify. It gets a signal depending on your location, which is already expected.
It is mains or battery powered; 4aa batteries are not included. The base has non-slip rubbery pads. It is not shockproof or water-resistant. There’s no handle or any sort of attachment piece, like a magnet or carabiner, that can hang it. So say, it is just a basic indoor radio.
I cant believe this is so cheap. At time of writing this was 35 quid. What a bargain.
Once the batterys are inserted and you turn it on, it scans for the channels which takes seconds and you can go through them and select up to 40 favourites. It runs on both batteries and a mains lead. I am using mine in the bathroom, so having the option to use batteries is handy for me.
For a small box the sound is fine, obviously if you are an audio purist this wont make you happy, but for a small kitchen/bathroom radio its absolutely fine.
Good value for money and you can take it anywhere.
Im Karton befindet sich neben dem Radio und ein Ladekabel noch eine Beschreibung auf Englisch. Kaum gestartet kann man die Einstellungen aber auch unter anderem auf Deutsch umstellen. Ein Betrieb mit vier AA Batterien wre ebenfalls mglich. Der Sendesuchlauf ist schnell und effektiv, Sender werden gengend gefunden was eine gute Antennenverbauung bedeutet. 20 Sender fr DAB sowie 20 Sender fr FM knnen abgespeichert werden. Der Klang ist berraschend gut, natrlich darf man sich von einem kleinen Radio keinen Musikalischen Musikgenuss erwarten. Das Farbdisplay zeigt bei DAB Sendern Covers und Infos zu den Interpreten. Eine Weckerfunktion, Eine Kopfhrerbuchse und die Mglichkeit per Bluetooth Musik abspielen zu knnen runden das positive Gesamtbild ab und somit eine klare Kaufempfehlung von mir.
This is a good little DAB radio. Its compact and portable. Can use either batteries or mains to supply power . Love the bluetooth feature so you can stream your own music via phone etc. Easy to use controls. Good LCD panel and also has an alarm clock setting and a sleep timer so that it automatically switches off if you set it for when you go to bed.
This is a lovely thing – you can operate it either via USB (has to be connected) or with 4 AA batteries, so if you use rechargeable batteries, you’re golden.
In person it looks lovely – it’s compact, and it’s well made.
It can work as an FM radio, a DAB radio, and as a Bluetooth speaker, and it will automatically search for channels as soon as you turn it on. Once it finds the channels you want, you can store up to 40 of them so you can go back to them with the click of a button.

Das Radio wirkt gut verarbeitet und sieht schick aus. Das Radio ist sehr kompakt aber gro genug um einen guter Klang und eine brauchbare Lautstrke zu produzieren. Das Radio kann entweder mit dem mitgelieferten Netzteil oder 4x AA Batterien betrieben werden. Die Bedienung ist einfach und selbsterklrend und das Display ist gut ablesbar. Wer mchte kann das Radio auch als Bluetooth Lautsprecher verwenden. Der Empfang ber DAB ist perfekt der Analogempfang ist is ok eher nur mittelmig.
Ein schnes Radio fr Unterwegs oder auf der Terrasse oder im Schrebergarten.
Ein handliches Radio, das DAB/DAB+ sowie UKW-Empfang bietet und auerdem noch als Bluetooth-Box nutzbar ist, eine fast selbsterklrende und intuitive Steuerung bietet (mit Ausnahme der Favoriten-Programmierung ab Speicherplatz 3, da braucht es dann schon einen Blick in die englische Anleitung) und mit einem fr die Gre recht guten Klang (zumindest wenn man den Equalizer im Systemmen entdeckt und entsprechend nutzt) daher kommt.
Auerdem gefllt mir im Gegensatz zu anderen Testern die Tatsache, dass die Stromversorgung per micro-USB erfolgt, weil sich so eine Vielzahl passender Netzteile in fast jedem Haushalt finden lassen.
Auch das farbige Display ist, trotz der kompakten Abmessungen, eine Bereicherung, da hier senderabhngig zustzliche Infos angezeigt werden.
Der Kopfhrerausgang auf der Rckseite ermglicht es zudem Radio zu hren, ohne andere zu stren, die Weckfunktion qualifiziert das Radio als Radiowecker und mittels Sleep-Einstellung kann man sich in den Schlaf singen lassen.
Beim ersten Einschalten scannt das Gert die DAB Frequenzen und zeigt alle Sender an, selbst ohne die Verwendung der Stationstasten ist es problemlos mglich, den gewnschten Kanal zu finden.
Lediglich der Netzstrom unabhngige Betrieb mit Batterien ist nicht mehr ganz zeitgem, ein eingebauter Akku htte das kleine Radio absolut perfekt gemacht.
Dennoch ist das MangoKit MD3 mir fnf Sterne wert.
This is an excellent digital radio with lots of good features. You can easily search for your favourite stations and store up to 40 of them as presets. The sound quality is good and I especially like the fact you can use it as an alarm clock and wake up to your favourite morning program. It can also be used as a bluetooth speaker so for the price I am very impressed.

I found it very easy and intuitive to use with 40 presset stations (20 DAB and 20 FM).
This radio has a large colourful easy to read display.
It is light, of a portable size but has plenty of features.
Speaker is of a decent quality for its size and sound could be made loud, it is still pleasant to listen to.
It has also socket for the headphones, alarms, clock, timer could be snoozed etc.
Reception is very good and stable around my house, so I’m very happy with this radio.
Das Aussehen ist klasse und gefllt mir wirklich sehr gut, das Grau passt so ziemlich zu jeder Situation.
Der Sound ist zufriedenstellend und erfllt den Zweck sehr gut fr ein kleines Radio.
Ob Bluetooth, Radio FM (kein AM o. UKW) oder DAB+ funktioniert alles sofort und gut ohne die Anleitung zu lesen.
Das Display ist klasse und sehr gut abzulesen und alles lsst sich auf Deutsch einstellen.
So und nun was mir nicht so gut gefllt:
Geladen bzw. angeschlossen wird das Radio ber einen Micro USB Anschluss was ich mittlerweile fr ein Neugert fr ein NoGo halte.
Hinzu kommt das wenn man Akkus nutzt diese als fast leer angezeigt werden da Akkus ein niedrigere Spannung haben und vom dem Radio nicht automatisch erkannt werden.
Wenn man den Micro USB Anschluss nutzt zeigt er an das die Akkus geladen werden aber es kommt nichts sichtbar an Energie hinzu.
Hier htte ich erwartet das ein Akku verbaut ist oder zu mindestens die 4 AA Akkus richtig erkannt und geladen werden.
Fazit:
Tolles Radio mit gutem Empfang aber leider etwas veralteter Energieversorgung und Umsetzung.
Wem das mit der Energieversorgung nicht so wichtig ist bekommt hier ein richtig tolles Radio geliefert.
Das kompakte DAB+ Radio sieht gut aus, auch wenn die Knpfe aus einfachem grauen Plastik sind.
Es luft entweder mit 4 AA Batterien oder mit beigelegten Netzteil (wie Handy Ladegert mit Micro USB).
Nach dem Einschalten sucht das Gert verfgbare digitale Radiosender, die in einer Senderliste angezeigt werden. Waren bei mir ca. 30. Dabei sind neben bekannten Radiostationen (bayern3, SWR, Antenne etc…) Auch viele reine digitale Sender, die man sonst gar nicht empfangen kann (Puls, egoFM, 80s, sunshine usw…)
Diese Sender laufen dann digital, also komplett rauschfrei. Im Display ist ein farbiges Senderlogo oder das jeweilige Plattencover zu sehen, auerdem gibt’s Infos wie Interpret, Titel und so. (Reiner UKW-Empfang ist auch mglich)
Das Radio kann auch als Wecker genutzt werden.
Was mir besonders gefllt – und deswegen habe ich es bestellt: am rckseitigen
Kopfhrer -Ausgang kann man es mit einer Stereoanlage verbinden. Dann habe ich nicht mehr den Sound aus dem kleinen Radiolautsprecher, sondern ber die Anlage aus richtigen, guten Boxen! Somit ist das Teil eine gnstige Ergnzung fr die alte Stereoanlage um sDAB+ Radio zu hren. Fr unter 40 ein guter Kauf.
Ich habe das MangoKit MD3 DAB/DAB+ und UKW Digitalradio in Steingrau getestet. Es kam gut aber nicht berflssig verpackt bei mir an. Es ist eine englischsprachige Bedienungsanleitung dabei, ich kam damit klar, fr meine Eltern (71 + 65 Jahre alt) war das ein echtes Problem. Im Lieferumfang ist ein Netzkabel mit Mikro-USB Stecker dabei, sehr gut ist auch das dass Radio mit vier AA-Batterien betrieben werden kann. Der Ein-/ Ausschalter ist zugleich der groe Knopf/ Rad mit dem man auch die Lautstrke regeln kann. Nach dem einschalten sucht das Gert selbstndig eine Senderliste, bei uns waren die Sender die meine Eltern bevorzugen sofort verfgbar. Ihre drei liebsten Sender habe ich unter den drei Senderschnellspeichertasten (1-3) abgespeichert, so knnen sie mhelos die Sender wechseln. Was meine Eltern absolut begeistert hat: Am Display ist nicht nur der Sender gut sichtbar, auch der jeweilige Interpret bzw. Songtitel werden angezeigt. Fr mich ist das selbstverstndlich, meine Eltern hatten noch nie ein Digitalradio und freuen sich da echt drber.
ber den Klang war ich positiv berrascht. Das Radio soll das alte Kchenradio meiner Eltern ersetzen und das wird es mit Bravour tun.
Eigentlich gibt es in meinen Augen nur zwei Punkte, die man verbessern knnte: Erstens sollte da unbedingt eine deutschsprachige Bedienungsanleitung dazu gelegt werden und zweitens knnte das Stromkabel etwas lnger sein. Insgesamt wrde ich sagen, das Radio ist den Preis wert und daher vergebe ich vier Sterne.
Eigentlich ist hier eine Anleitung berflssig. Die liegt zwar bei, in englischer Sprache, aber das tragbare DAB/DAB+/UKW-Radio der Marke MangoKit macht eh alles Wichtige von alleine.
Das mitgelieferte Netzteil mit dem 1,10 m langen Kabel wird in die Steckdose gesteckt und das Radio erwacht zu Leben. Es kann auch mit 4 Stck AA-Batterien betrieben werden, die nicht im Lieferumfang enthalten sind.
Der groe Knopf fr die Lautstrke ist zugleich der An- und Ausschalter, ein langes Drcken versetzt das Radio in den Standby-Modus. Hier wird ohne Voreinstellung, also automatisch, die aktuelle Uhrzeit und das Datum angezeigt.
Das Display ist sehr bersichtlich und selbsterklrend — der MENU-Knopf fhrt durch alle Funktionen.
Die Klangqualitt ist ausgezeichnet, das Feintuning kann mit dem Equalizer nach den eigenen Bedrfnissen abgestimmt werden.
Auch eine Kopfhrerbuchse ist vorhanden, ich bin sehr angetan von diesem gerade mal 17 x 11 x 7 cm groen Radio.
Radiohren gehrt fr mich unbedingt dazu, ich mag natrlich viel Musik, die entsprechenden Sender mit vielen Wortbeitrgen und aktuellen Nachrichten sind aber ebenso unverzichtbar. Mit diesem kompakten MangoKit-Radio bin ich bestens bedient. Und der Preis von derzeit 37,00 Euro spricht nochmal fr dieses klangvolle Gert.

Angeschlossen per USB direkt am PC, geht super, keine Netzstecker notwendig, wenn auch mitgeliefert.
Die Optik.
Ist ok, Geschmcker sind ja verschieden.
Viele Knpfe sieht gut aus im Bro.
Scannen, Senderliste aufrufen… Es erklingt Musik.
Der Ton ist gut und ausgeglichen, reicht perfekt aus, ohne aufdringlich zu klingen.
Mit dem Handy geht es auch, per Bluetooth verbunden, kommt auch Musik raus.
Den Preis finde ich ansprechend, andere Gerte sind doch teurer im Vergleich.
Also volle Empfehlung solange man keine Heimdiscoanlage vom sound erwartet .
Genial die kurze Lieferzeit! Das Gert funktioniert einwandfrei, die Bedienung ist sehr leicht und erfordert keinerlei Fachkenntnisse. Die Speicherung der DAB-Sender ist kinderleicht und knnen mit der Plus – und Minustaste aufgerufen werden. Die Klangqualitt ist gut und ist absolut rein mit keinerlei Nebengeruschen. Das Preis – Leistungsverhltnis ist sehr gut. Einfach ein gutes Produkt.

Here is a simple to use DAB radio with easy set-up thanks to the auto tuning once turned on. The styling is pleasing to the eye with the main body all-plastic and the speaker covered with some fabric to give the radio a softer look.
The controls are clear and simple as is the display, an easy-to-read LCD panel.
It’s a standard DAB tuner, no fancy additions, and the sound quality is excellent, which makes the radio really stand out in terms of listening experience and value for money. There are various options for sound — such as rock, classical, speech or custom equalizer which gives the user the option to control bass, treble and bass boost.
Power by either mains (USB to micro USB lead included) or by 3 x AA batteries.
It’s great value for money for a super sounding radio.
This portable DAB radio arrived in its own branded cardboard box.
The box contains:
* The radio.
* A UK 3 pin USB power supply (5V/2A).
* A USB-A to Micro-USB cable (110cm).
* Instructions.
The radio can be run from the provided power supply or 4 AA batteries (not supplied). The large volume knob doubles as an on/off switch. A long press when using the power supply puts the radio into standby mode (where the time is still displayed on the screen) and a similar press when using batteries switches the unit off completely.
The first time you switch the radio on it automatically does a channel scan. It is worth extending the aerial before you do this as I didn’t and when I re-scanned with the antenna deployed it found a lot more channels.
The display is clear and gives you all the channel information available. The display scrolls automatically so you can read it all.
Sound quality is excellent for a device like this. The volume is very loud when on full and there is even an equaliser available in the menu so you can fine tune the sound to your taste. The menu offers a comprehensive set of features (alarm, sleep timer etc. Too many to go into here) and this makes this radio very flexible. Even with batteries fitted it is light enough to carry around.
The radio can function as a DAB radio, FM radio or Bluetooth speaker (see video). It will not transmit by Bluetooth to earbuds but there is a socket for wired headphones.
I was looking for something I can take out into the garden when working there to keep in touch with what’s going on in the world and this is ideal.
This is a great little portable radio. It looks smart and the sound quality is excellent. I maybe would have liked to have a built in rechargeable battery but this is a minor niggle as it works well with rechargeable AA batteries. I have no hesitation in recommending it and giving it 5 stars.
This is a great little radio, you can have it battery or mains operated. The instructions aren’t very clear at all, and it took a lot of fiddling with buttons to get the radio stations programmed in. Swapping from DAB to FM isn’t easy either. But, having said that, once you do get it figured out, it is a good sound. I do swap from one station to another, to listen to particular presenters, so having the stations in the pre-set is good and useful
This is a very nice looking dab radio especially considering the price, it can be battery or USB powered so ideal for the shed/caravan/tent/beach and so on. Very easy to operate and also contains a Bluetooth function so you can pair your phone for music playback making this very versatile for the money

Came well packaged and all items present.
As you can see from the pictures this radio comes complete with a mains charger as well as battery compartment which will take 4 AA batteries (not supplied)
Easy to use dials and button configuration as well as the owners manual if you get really stuck but to be honest it’s quite easy and intuitive.
Substantial aerial attached also to help grab those sound waves from the sky.
At first look I wasn’t expecting too much but was pleasantly surprised. The sound quality is excellent for a smaller unit and doesn’t sound Tinny at all.
The radio looks sleek and elegant, with its cloth speaker cover. If I had one gripe that lets it down a little is that the buttons and dial look and feel a bit cheap plasticky. If these were wooden or wooden effect then absolutely spot on.
You can have up to 20 preset stations with this unit and also if you had this in the bedroom it doubles as a clock and an alarm close also.
It has a headphone jack also In case you want some private listening.
I think price wise it’s just about right for what you get and it’s size lends to its portability if you wished to take this away with you to a caravan etc. won’t take up too much room in your cases.
Definitely punches above its weight.
I would recommend this.
Lightweight, plastic radio but one that packs some really good punch in terms of volume and clear tone. Easy to set up and use either with batteries or mains. Auto search will take you to the best local radio stations but you can set it up to scan for yourself if you’re looking for something particular. Also plenty of choice, ten function buttons, to make changes. I lift the aerial for better sound quality and you need to get that into the right position for best quality sound and better choice. Comes complete with instruction manual and also plug for the mains if you want to use that option. Attractive design. I like the grey. No negative really just a slight niggle that it’s so light it easily slips around but; sound wise it’s great and that’s the most important thing.
Very easy to set up and find the channels and the sound quality is excellent, nice and compact and still has very good volume. Highly recommend.
