I bought this as a last minute christmas top-up for my husband. Due to the price I wasnt expecting much but thought it would be ok for him to spray liberally every day for the office. All I can say is wow! This scent is just stunning. It smells very high end and sophisticated. He has actually just ran out and has several bottles of different high end brands. He said he would like another bottle of this as he loves it. My sister-in-law and niece recently visited and they couldn’t stop smelling him .

Love this aftershave. Regularly buy it for my OH. He is fussy aftershave wise and his go to is Sauvage. This is on par with that for a fraction of the price. A must have in my opinion. He gets complimented when wearing it.

Only a couple of sprays needed and will last all day. A little intense for about an hour, then reduces and maintains a gorgeous soft woody-vanilla scent. Particularly good as single spray directly on to a shirt.

First received as a gift, and I am now a loyal patron to this perfume. It’s making my lesbian friend have mixed feelings about me now. Wasn’t my intention, but it definifely shows it works like a charm. Compliments are almost guaranteed.

I’ve had a lot of perfumes over the years from a young teenager to almost a 30 year old adult, and without a doubt this is the most subtle but potent parfum I’ve had. It’s very sweet undertones with a very strong odour gives it just an all round perfect male cologne. Highly recommend.

Was worried after reading a review that this may not be what it seems so I too went to Boots and Super drug and compared the lasting effect. Boots on one hand Superdrug on the other arm but on my wrist. They both smelt the same and lasted the same . However after scrubbing the Superdrug one off with soap and alcohol hand wash and then spraying this one on my hand this was much stronger and laster till the next day. The Boots one only lasted a few hours if that. Oh fancy sending this in the same box as 5litres of motor oil so as you can imagine the box off this arrived crushed

I really like this, but not sure that the scent persists from more than a couple of hours. Being bi I think it will probably appeal to both sexes. I’m certainly going to check it out….

I purchased this after watching several reviews on social media.
It’s not quite in the same league as Creed but it’s darn close at a quarter of the price.
The scent is slightly overpowering when first applied (less is more) but after a few hours it dulls to a nice level which attracts plenty of positive comments when out & about.
Pros: Price,scent,longevity
Cons: None so far.

Great value and great longevity smells very similar to creed aventus but at a fraction of the price.

I always get compliments on this and people ask if it’s creed aventus. A must have in any fragrance collection.

I only bought the 30ml after being disappointed with other highly rated blind buys but I have to say, this one is very good.
It’s a great scent with good longevity and my wife actually likes it (rare!) so overall it’s a big thumbs up from me.

Just an average fragrance, smells nice, especially in the colder time it’s perfect.
Fragance aroma it’s between business and sporty which is not bad, but it’s just an ordinary day to day casual fragrance.
I wouldn’t use it as a personality fragrance.
On skin it stay on for about 8-10 hours of staying inside, outdoor maybe 3 hours at best.

I’ll tell you an experience of mine and you tell me if this cologne is good or not.

I spray this cologne on me and I went out with a girl, we had a good time, everything went well, she never complimented me on my cologne but she smelled it.

We go out again, this time I’m wearing a different one, she likes what I’m wearing but she asks me why I’m not wearing the other one (Mont Blanc Explorer) and I said that I like going back and forth with my colognes, she said I should wear the other one (Mont Blanc Explorer) as it smells manlier and sexy and she liked it a lot.

She’s at work, someone is wearing Mont Blanc Explorer and she text’s me telling me about this and how I came to her mind instantly, she wanted to go out again and she requested I wear this cologne if I was going to wear one.

She came to my place one day, found my Mont Blanc Explorer, and started spraying herself with it.

We go out with her wearing Mont Blanc Explorer and I’m wearing Giorgio Armani, she got about eight maybe ten compliments and I got zero compliments.

I go out with her for a drive, ended up at a nice bar having drinks, the lady serving drinks came to me 10 minutes after serving the drinks and asked me what cologne I was wearing because according to her words “It smell’s amazing! I want to get it for my boyfriend” my date was about to tell her it’s Mont Blanc Explorer but I cut her short and said “I’m sorry, I don’t tell people what kind of cologne I wear, I like to keep that little detail to my self”. The lady got disappointed and left, my date smiled at me and said “So I’m the only lucky girl allowed to have such a good smelling guy?”.

Conclusion, it’s really good. But don’t spread the word, otherwise everyone will wear this and it won’t be as unique as it is. Buy it and keep it to your self.

I have predominantly used 3 Aftershaves for some years, Prada, 1881 and Obsession and they are true after shaves not toilet water. They are quite expensive and I decided to try a couple of more reasonably priced well known brands at the end of 2020 and both were very weak and the ‘scent’ disappeared within 10 minutes. I decided to give this a try based on the price, the good feedback left and I was also taken in by the packaging!!
(one of my weaknesses playing to the packaging people). In fact I was not disappointed, far from it. This is a brilliant product and is a true aftershave which smells superb and the scent lasts not just for minutes but hours. It falls perhaps more on the feminine side so not butch – but I and my female friends think it is great so good enough for me. I will definitely be buying this excellent aftershave again. UPDATE……..Dec 2021……………
I have finished my first purchase of this and all above stands but having finished it and bought another I would like to ad some additional information, not really negative but I think relevant.
The tube that draws the fluid from the base is excellent in that it extends fully to the bottom and scavenges every last bit of aftershave – a great point. Having emptied the bottle I was much more aware of its weight. Although it is brilliant packaging it does gives a false impression of what you have left and due to the VERY heavy thickness of the bottle and the black wrapper it is very difficult to judge the contents until it is nearly finished. A point of interest is that the full bottle when new weighs (exactly) 440 gms. Having weighed it (accurately) when completely empty it comes in at 345 grams. So the contents on that sum weigh 95 gms. 1 millilitre of fluid weighs 1 gram so on that basis (not scientifically measured) the contents are around 95 ml. This means the bottle weight represents 78% of the gross weight when full.

I love the Montblanc brand but have always found their fragrances underwhelming and poor performing. Generally every single drag I had from them disappeared from skin after 30 minutes. This one however, is a different story. While not the best performing perfume ever, the longevity and sillage are adequate. Id say it lasts around 4-6 hours with a medium sillage and then it fades away slowly. I could still smell it on my collar in the evening, but to be honest next time I will re-apply sometime in the afternoon to top it up. The scent is pleasant, not overly original or memorable, but definitely has some subtle class to it. It’s not as loud and youthful as YSL Y and being a little more refined is more suited for a man than a boy. I know that others have compared it to Aventus by Creed, and yes it’s very similar. Upon first spray it’s difficult to tell them apart, the differences start appearing after the top notes start fading away, Aventus is a little more fruity while this is leaning more towards the synthetics. Having said that, I firmly believe that overall it’s a much better buy than Aventus. Neither fragrance is very outstanding, both have the same familiar feeling – they remind you of something you might have smelled before. But, what Montblanc did right is being realistic. It’s an okay scent for an okay price. Contrary to Creed, where they try to sell you a bottle of okay-smelling perfume for 250. Save yourself some money and get the Montblanc version. But make sure you tell your friends and coworkers it’s Montblanc, let them know that Creed is overrated. Overall a good value scent I just wish it lasted a little longer.
