This is a great little belay device – simple to use and feels robust and reliable and the amount of friction generated is incredible.
Due to that friction, I use this device on sub 10mm ropes as I find feeding rope over a longer session becomes a tad tiring with thicker gym workhorse ropes – but that’s just a preference rather than a criticism.
All in all a good little device.
