Drying my hair has gone from being a chore to a joy after buying this hairdryer. It dries my hair quickly and all the attachments are brilliant.
I’m so happy with this Panasonic blow dryer, high quality and like new technology
Really does cut down drying time and no frizz. Winne
Excellent hairdryer so quick, hair is dry in no time. Attractive and lightweight. Very pleased
I got this hairdryer as a replacement for one that was over 20 years old. As other people have said it is quite heavy but it dries my hair (just below my shoulders and very thick) well. The cool setting is good.
I bought this after looking at loads of reviews of products of varying prices including some much more expensive and decided on this. I’m pleased I did, it does the job well (I have very thick curly hair so use it for diffusing only) and can honestly not imagine why you would need to spend hundreds on a hairdryer when this has all the same features and does the job perfectly!
Does what it’s suppose to do and does it very well, fast and no nonsense
his is aquality product have not yet used all attechments Ilike the fact the heat and air flow can be adjusted.
———–
– lightweight
– Nice design
– comes with a few attachments
– doesn’t overheat when using for long periods of time
Dislikes
————
– the cool air button doesn’t seem to make any difference
– it’s not as powerful as other hairdryers I’ve used. I have curly hair and it takes around 40mins to an hr to diffuse
very pleased with this hairdryer. love the choice of settings . my hair is prone to frizz so love that I can dry my hair on a higher speed cooler setting . Diffuser is great too for my wavycurly hair. It is slightly bulky but actually lighter than my previous dryer.
This is a good powerful hairdryer that gives smooth dry hair, the different components that come with it are pretty good and it has quite a few different settings. The only issue is it’s rather heavy.
It’s a quite old model in the product line. I would expect a newer model but didn’t manage to find one in this country. Anyway, it’s a good product and works just fine.
Probably the best hair dryer I have had over the many years. It does exactly as it says. My hair is definately smoother. I have fragile coloured hair that needs tender loving care, and this hair dryer gives it. The controls don’t get in the way while is use. There are several heat and speed options and I soon found the best option for my hair,, high speed and heat for a quick 80% dry and less heat and speed for styling.
This is the first hair dryer I’ve brought for myself in the Black Friday sales for 40 and I love it. Before this I was using one my mum had given me for about 8 years and she probably had it for about that long before she passed it on. The heat limitations are much kinder to your hair and I’ve noticed a lot less frizz. The diffuser attachments are brilliant for when I want to embrace my natural curls and I love it. It is a little bulky and awkward to store so maybe not the best as a travel hair dryer but great for home use.
Great hairdryer! This Panasonic hairdryer dried my hair in four minutes using the quick dry nozzle to start with. I then used the set nozzle to curl my hair under at the ends which worked well and although it does get quite hot, it soon cools down again afterwards. I am delighted with this black and pink hairdryer, it’s well balanced and not too heavy with a long cord for ease of use. I highly recommend this hairdryer – it’s fantastic, well done Panasonic.
Ok it is a great looking hairdryer, but my god it is heavy and i find it hard to hold it, but it makes your hair feel great and smooth, my daughter is a hairdresser and she loves it but again heavy to hold if you are doing it all day, so i did decide to keep it but i also have my old faithful hairdryer.
Leaves hair soft and the condition of my hair since using this has been brilliant I will never go back to a normal dryer again … nano is defo the way to go and it’s not to heavy or awkward to hold like most .
Would recommend this to any hair types but very good for curly hair love the defuser dont hurt your head like all the others I’ve used and gives plenty of volume and curls … love i
PROS
– it looks better than in the photos. It looks kinda clunky and unattractive but is actually much better with the attachment on.
– The pink colour is also really nice. it looks smart and expensive.
– Has a nicer sound, Is less jarring on the ears when on.
– Does dry hair fast, and leave it soft.
– Diffuser works well, minimising frizz and leaving hair soft.
– Gives an immediate, noticeable shine when using.
– lots of independent heat and power settings.
CONS
– kinda heavy and clunky compared to other hairdryers, but not so heavy it’s hard to use
– quite expensive
– not the miracle cure for frizzy hair it looks like it might be – but admittedly much better than a standard dryer with no fancy tech.
All in all, I’m pleased with this as a pricier treat. It does seem to provide more softness and shine for the extra money, but isn’t a miracle cure. However, combined with some good smoothing/conditioning products, will leave your hair feeling much nicer than a bog standard cheapy dryer.
Honestly, if you want that salon-fresh feel, this is the best product. And excuse my static hair, even my hairdresser can’t push them down.
I regularly dye my hair and that can really damage the strands, making them dry. But this lightweight hairdryer seems to make it so soft and natural-looking, just simply adore how my hair feels.
It quickly goes cold at the end of the drying when you press the button above the main sliders and it’s so easy to hold for someone like me who drops things often. The extension products actually work and make it easier to dry your hair.
Wow. Long review but just wanted to say this is the best hair drying product. The extra money instead of the cheap ones was well worth it.
Pros: The diffuser attachment works (which to me is huge cause that means I don’t have to wait HOURS for my hair to dry- I can do it in a matter of 10mins now) and I like how the dryer looks but.. thats about it?
Cons: It’s heavy. It really is. Quite bulky as well compared to other dryers. Because of that I will probably never take it anywhere with me.
In conclusion: I got it because of the diffuser, and I believe this particular attachment is the best to use compared to all the other ones that are on the market. If you can work with other ones- I’d go for a different one.
I have fine wavy hair and this works brilliantly. No frizz at all. I haven’t needed to use my straighteners once. The condition of my hair is better with this hairdryer, smooth and shiny.
My old hairdryer was a Remington ionic dryer and this Panasonic is much better.
I have used a GHD hairdryer and I find it too powerful and I ended up with poker straight hair. The Panasonic gives straight hair but allows body and the shafts are definitely smoother.
I have also used a dyson and find that both the Dyson and ghds tend to use pure power to blow your hair. Might be great for heavy thick hair but useless on fine hair because you cant control where your hair is being blasted.
I’m not sure what this nanoe technology is supposed to be doing, or if it is doing anything. Yet, my hair is definitely in better condition and I like the hairdryer. It’s not that heavy so unsure why other reviewers have said that. It looks awkwardly shaped but it doesn’t effect the handling of it.
I’m one of the lucky ones with fine hair (which is straighter and prone to getting greasy on top but frizzy ringlets underneath). It’s been even worse since having a child and to get a smooth finish I’ve had the GHDs ready and waiting after each blow dry. Being coloured this has obviously taken it’s toll.
My first try of this dryer and I’m blown away (excuse the pun :)) i had my GHDs switched on and ready…but after 10 mins of a smooth hairdrying session I switched then off!!! That’s a first!
Couldn’t be happier. Just that alone and I’d be a very happy new hairdryer owner.
Just a couple of extra things. I dried my hair at 9.30pm with my 18month old asleep in the next room. Not even a stir! I’ve also had 3 straight days of intense yoga…its hard work on the arms and I would’ve felt it in my previous hairdryer. Whether it’s because it was a quicker process or not…i didn’t feel it with this one. It’s not the lightest but certainly not something to our you off. Feel like life just got a little easier.
I’ve now been using it for several weeks. Unlike some reviewers I do not find it becomes heavy to hold when using. It is definitely quieter than my previous hairdryer which at first made me think it wasn’t as powerful. This proved unfounded as it is just as quick to dry my hair. Nanoe technology? Not sure whether it is the hairdryer or the products I use on my hair that leaves it silky and smooth after drying. So the jury is out on that but still – I do think my hair looks a little shinier then it did with my previous dryer so maybe there is something to it.
What I do like is the different setting options and that once selected they stay set. I was temporarily using a Mark Hill dryer which drove me nuts as it was so easy to accidentally catch the settings and change them or switch the dryer off completely. No such issues with this one. The cool shot works pretty well and blows cool air quickly compared to some I have used in the past. The nozzle stays put too! A big plus in my eyes – over the years I have lost count of the number of times the nozzle falls off in the midst of drying. I haven’t used the diffuser nozzle so can’t comment on that. Overall a very good replacement for the more expensive Babyliss dryer I had.
