I bough this to replace the older One Blade and I am very satisfied. Great quality and feels great to use. Not as close a shave as a blade obvs but next best thing for anyone with sensitive skin without getting a rash. A little pricey but worth it.

Decent product and ideal to take on holiday to keep up with grooming whilst away. Comfortable to use with no dragging/pulling but will not provide a super close shave if you want that but it is I think close enough for most.

I’ve had a few off the older models and this one is definitely the best so far, the difference size trimming attachment is the best bit, longer charge not that you will be needing to charge a lot and tells you what’s left of charge

The oneblade series is the best shave available. Couldn’t recommend it more

I bought this to replace my 5 year old OneBlade Pro, which I unfortunately broke.

This newer model is equally as good as my previous one. It’s perhaps a bit better to hold ergonomically, with the blade sitting at a slightly different angle to ensure a better cut. It’s slightly smaller but battery life is as good as my older model for sure. Of course battery life is something that will differ from person to person depending on usage. For me, I am a light user, only using it once a week to trim my beard. On each use I probably lose around 1-2% so the unit lasts weeks in between charges, which is impressive. Charging is quick – a full charge being achieved in roughly one hour. I also appreciate the fact that this model includes a hard carry case – something my older model didn’t have, perfect for travelling. Speaking of which, also useful is the travel lock – hold the power button down for 3 seconds and the travel lock is activated, meaning the unit cannot be accidentally turned on when travelling. Hold the power button for 3 seconds again to turn this function back off.

In use the OneBlade is as good as always. The supplied combs are good to have, even if I am more likely just to use the adjustable comb. It is waterproof and therefore can be used wet or dry, and due to it being waterproof it is also extremely easy to clean – just switch it on and put it under running water for a few seconds, job done.

As a long time user of the OneBlade I would like to note that the average 4 month lifespan of the blades is completely inaccurate. In fact my last blade lasted me over 3 years and still gave a good cut, and the only reason I stopped using it was because I broke the OneBlade itself, and so when I replaced it with this newer model I of course used a fresh blade – I fully expect to get a similar amount of usage out of this new blade also. Again, this will depend on the individual use case, but for my once a week trim, I get a good 3 years from the blade.

Overall this is a great replacement that is easily as reliable as my previous model, and I expect to get a good few years’ use from it – as long as I don’t break it that is!

Leaves a lovely clean shave with minimal effort. However the Pro model offers little extra functionality over the base one for a price jump.

Reviewing after using the product for a year . Still strong and easy to use. Shave the face but still use a razor blades just to look smooth. I’m also able to clean and shave my long beard easily. Great product I bought so far.

I saw one a barber was using for the back & sides of my sons hair. Safety reasons, it’s a massive plus. I chose the one with the attachment to be able to choose the cut grade. So far, extremely pleased and impressed.

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersI originally ordered a Series 9000 beard trimmer, however it was quite bulky and only went down to 0.4mm, so no good at getting clean lines.

I’d had a OneBlade before, but it was stolen. Anyway I rebought this and it’s ideal. Easy to hold and manoeuvre, with a pretty close shave if you don’t attach a comb.

The adjustable comb though is terrible. This pro version doesn’t give an even cut like the old one did. When going around your jaw line, it practically goes from 3mm to 0.4mm even if the dial is set. The dial also doesn’t lock into the numbers like the old one.

For everyone saying it comes with an EU plug…really? It’s a plug for a shaving socket, not a mains socket.

Great little beard trimmer, terrible adjustable comb

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI wasn’t expecting a close shave like a wet shave + thought it would pull hair but my overall impression is well worth the money, did buy it when it was on offer well worth it. Does a great job in my opinion. Not had it long so can’t say how long the blade will last but from shaving one a week I’ve been led to believe it’ll be 4mths before I need a new one, here’s hoping.

    Overall pleasantly surprised.

Very safe for armpits or any sensitive areas. Doesn’t pinch skin . Best trimer I ever had.

I have the original OneBlade pro but the adjustable guard broke after 2 years of daily use.

I could have just bought a new guard for it, but as a OneBlade aficionado, the new generation of pro was too tempting to pass up.

It’s quieter, more ergonomic, battery life is even longer and the adjustable guard is a much better design.
The package I chose comes with a really nice travel case and useful accessories.

It’s not cheap when you factor in blades, but it’s worth it!

I feel like this has improved on all the little niggles I had with the previous one blade. This is definitely an upgrade and I would encourage people to invest in this for a very easy shave/trim

Was recommended the one blade by a friend and it certainly doesn’t disappoint! If your after a shaver that’s suited for sensitive skin then I highly recommend it. The pro version is also well worth the money IMO

I was a bit sceptical at first with the price and the largely mixed reviews but I have to say I’ve been really impressed. This shaver feels expensive. I have used it on 6 occasions so far with both the trimming attachment and the naked head for a close shave and the battery is still at over 80%. I really like the digital display for the battery life too, that’s a nice touch. The reality is that it’s never going to cut as close as a razor but it gets close (probably within about 12 hours). Would definitely recommend.

I love the easily adjustable timing head. It is much better then having to clip on a set level head. Great to trim my moustache. But not long enough levels for my beard. I love the charming stand. Was rather expensive though.

Good product slightly better to hold then the previous One Blade Pro, but the build quality doesn’t seem as solid. Which is why I’ve marked it as a 4.

Other than that, good battery life and gets close enough on a shave for me. It feels like the morning after a shave. Easy to hold even with my sausage fingers.

    I’d recommend this.

Great product, I have used a number of beard trimmers over the years and find this one of the beast. Very easy to use and good for all lengths of beard.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersIt’s OK, it does the job it was intended for, and I am happy with it, very light to hold, easy to clean and it comes with a case (Nice One) very expensive, but you only get what you pay for,, one other thing is nice that you can get spare parts.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersThe battery life is incredible for such a small shaver and the case is perfect travel size. It’s well designed, well engineered and trims stubble hair very well. It does take some getting used to if you’ve used the Philips 7000+ series before (of which I’ve broken many!) but you’ll soon see it’s far more precise at blending and maintaining stubble. You get what you pay for with this shaver. Highly recommend.

Works well to trim hair, however it really does not work as a replacement for your razor, you will still need a razor to really get a smooth shave. The battery lasts longer than I expected from such a low profile product, which is really good to say I only had to charge it 3 times with pretty much daily use for a month.

The packaging is all recyclable which is really nice to see, but the accessories are a little lacking. It comes with a couple of attatchments and one spare blade and honestly for 100 I would expect better, alteast a few more replacement blades.
Where your money is really going is the quality of the internals, I strongly suspect (and hope) that this trimmer will go strong for a good few years of heavy use, as is usually the case with Phillips products.

Works perfectly. Gives nice clean shave. Amazing Battery life! love the included case. So refined, I wish i never wasted time with the braun shaver i used to own! Phillips one blade is the best!

The Phillips OneBlade Pro is a jack of all trades and master of—all of them, honestly.

It is packaged inside a small card box with minimal packaging and no plastic, that I could see at least. It looks pretty small in real life and I had my doubts it would be able to tackle a thick beard but I was massively wrong.

I don’t have a thick beard but it is long and this shaver cut through it easily without the need for a pre-trim. It also cuts extremely close giving an extremely smooth shave, smoother than my Braun and Phillips electric razors.

You can attach the trimmer head which boasts a rotating dial so you can select the length you want. This is a great addition and far easier than multiple guards of different lengths.

While it is is brand new, and may change as it’s used more, there was no pulling or snagging of the hairs giving an amazingly comfortable shave with no irritation.

I haven’t tried it on shaving body hair, nor more sensitive areas, but given its performance on the face, I don’t doubt it’s great elsewhere too.

As mentioned it is a little small so doesn’t fill the hand and so isn’t the most comfortable to hold, but it’s so quick you won’t really need to be holding it for long. The size is also a plus as it along with the attachments are so compact they can be carried around with ease, taking up no space at all.

While I can’t fault the performance, at 74 it is very expensive. Performance, build-quality, portability, and design are all top-notch but you could pick up something around the 20/25 mark, which would give you a good shave though.

If you can afford it and dropping 74 isn’t going to drain you of your spending money then I’d say go for it.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThe picture is a tad deceiving. I didn’t receive a hard protective case or a charging dock. Inside I got the main unit, one blade and the one blade replacement, carry bag, protective comb for sensitive areas and a charger. The shaver itself is fantastic. I used it first for a wet shave and it left my face super smooth. You can go against the grain with no issues, and you can trim sideburns and the edge of your beard by just turning the shaver around to get the edge of the blade.

The clip on comb is very clever too. Instead of having lots of different combs for different lengths, you just clip the comb over the beard, then turn the wheel to adjust the comb length. So simple but so effective too. Cleaning it is very easy too. Just run the blade under a warm tap and that’s pretty much it. Not sure how long each blade lasts before it needs replacing, but you get a QR code inside to give you a discount off your first replacement blade. Phillips have done great with this product, and I can safely say it is something I’d recommend to anyone, even if you have sensitive skin. Awesome.
