eally easy printer to set up and equally easy app to use with alot of it being pre loaded templates for simplicity . all very user friendly.
if your printing out any sort of lettering then the print quality is actually very good – a lot better than i expected. however the picture quality is nothing like is shown on the advert. still a fun item to have.
Sticky labels have a good adhesion.
Roll of labels has to go in one way which it isnt really clear through any instructions.

This compact label printer is nice and easy to set up and use. It can be used to create three sizes labels, all of which are very small but enough for small parcels etc. Very useful and reliable. Prints evenly, good quality labels.

First of all it is important to say that I didn’t want this printer for photographs – after all I want to print photos in colour mostly, so it is not needed for that. I wanted it for a quick and easy way to print labels to put on storage boxes and the absolute genius thing about it that I now use all the time, is to print QR codes that can link back to a google list, so not only can I print my QR code, I can find out with ease what is in the box, just by opening the associated inventory list. It is very good indeed. I have just emptied my loft and storage spaces, re-organised everything and created lists of contents, stuck a QR code on the outside and then there is no more need to try and remember what went in the box in the first place.
It connected super easily to the computer and phone, works really well and even prints ‘to-do’ lists! We have just bought a stack of paper in different kinds and may even print our own Christmas labels this year too.
Great little device that takes up no space at all and works like a dream.
I like this little printer. I hadn’t realised it was only black and white, but for my needs it works ok. Very good image and prints photos quite nicely. I shall no doubt use it for more printing ideas as time goes by but at the moment I have only printed out labels.
This is a premium product. Portable and compact so can take anywhere and use as a printer for small tasks, maybe a shopping list. The plastic seems tough and of good quality. Does attract dirt and marks fairly easily.
Easy to setup. You will need to download the basic but functional app. Probably useful for printing labels for parcels or a to do list and sticking somewhere as a reminder such as the fridge.
For me this more of I would like one rather than a essential item. The price is high at 89.99 but there is a 20% voucher at the moment which makes a more resealable price.
I love only needing to buy more labels which aren’t too expensive as this printer requires no ink! It prints thermally therefor saving loads of money compared to a regular printer where you’d need both paper and expensive ink cartridges.
It prints quickly and efficiently. The app is easy to use and has some awesome features. The quality is superb of both the device and results. Whilst some black and white photos come out looking a little grainy, they’re still ideal for scrapbooks / journalling / memory books ect. The large size of the printed labels makes it ideal for so many things. Particularly useful for parcel address labels. The text comes out with great clarity and boldness. Would even be ideal for printing off online recipes to make a homemade cookbook!
Great quality cost-effective money saving device that works great with my smartphone.
I have been using this PHOMEMO for printing some verses inside birthday, Christmas and anniversary cards. This is really easy to use, although I have used similar but smaller label printers before.
There are instructions included with this printer as well as a cable, and if you download the app you will then have access to loads of templates and ideas.
If you are a crafter then this is a good gadget to have, for printing photos, ideas, and patterns and making labels is great for scrapbooking, decoupage and card making.
I like this a lot, and I would happily recommend it.
I have had previously a Phomemo label printer and by acquiring this portable one I can confirm that they make amazing portable printers.
Easy to install and fast printing speed.
The app gives you many ways of printing.
Despite it can be connected via Bluetooth to the PC and be recognized as a printer this particular model doesn’t have the PC drivers or app which the Phomemo Label maker has, so a mobile/tablet will be needed to install the app.
Also, it came with a thermal paper sample which is enough to print quite a few stickers before it runs out and you have to order the consumables which I found a bit expensive.
The quick start guide doesn’t give you the paper’s specifications so you’ll need to find out online or via the app.
After all, it is a great item for creative people.
I gave it to my teenager daughter, she is over moon with it, it’s small, cute and also extraordinary useful for printing labels and pictures. I highly recommend it to you all!
Arrives factory sealed in a quality looking package.
When open, the box includes the small thermal printing (no ink required) label machine which has a roll of sticky label paper enclosed . You will need to remove the sticky tape and pull the paper to the front of the machine before printing. There is also the USB charging cable and two small but adequate instruction books.
The black ink printer works via the ‘Phomemo’ app which is quick to download then Bluetooth the printer to your phone and you’re ready to print.
The app had loads of images ready to print immediately such as dot to dots for children, but you can also print your own images and text.
I can see this being useful in so many settings.
The thermal paper is available to purchase on Amazon with either 2 years or 10 years lifespan so not really appropriate for things you wish to print and keep forever, although the coloured paper available has a 20 year lifespan. There are quite a variety of papers available with different widths, colours and papers or stickers. Very versatile.
I’m going to find this really useful for printing notes on my books ready for writing the review.
Great little gadget I would recommend!
Phomemo is a great little portable printer. Its only black and white, but it’s a good job done, I have printed all sorts with this and really like it. Its so easy to use I am so surprised. Its brilliant, I was hesitant about the price, but there is a voucher that reduces it right down, but honestly even at full price its worth it.
This Phomemo M04S Thermal Printer is supplied in a branded box which contains the printer, some custom stickers, instructions, and a USB to USB-C charging cable but no power supply. USB is a standard now, so I do not see this as a problem. It has a built-in battery which seems to last well as I haven’t run it down yet after a week’s intermittent use.
It is compact and well made from good quality plastics with a silk white finish with subtle branding. You need to download the Phomemo app to pair it with your phone or tablet which is available in both Apple and Android. It is not the best application but works fine for simple tasks such as logos or lists. However, it struggles with more complex layouts and the interface is not the best. Pairing was straightforward on my OnePlus 8 Plus phone, but I had already downloaded the app and set up another printer which may have helped. The actual printing was easy after the app finally detected the printer
This is a black and white printer but as long as you accept the limitations the print quality is very good. It is a thermal printer with crisp text and images and photos are more successful than the smaller printer I have from the same brand showing decent shading and detail although still in black and white. A small continuous feed 110mm sticker paper is included, and extra rolls are available on Amazon. It can print on 53mm (2.08″), 80mm (3.15″) and 110mm (4.33″) wide rolls although you can get cheaper printers if you only require the smaller ones for labels or security tags.
This printer is ideal for simple tasks such as labelling or producing reminders and lists. At nearly 90 it feels a little expensive but if you need portable black and white printing this could be the answer.
Phomemo M04S Portable Thermal Printer
Ive used various Phomemo products in the past and Ive been very pleased with them, they last a long time there no need to replace the ink like regular printer’s and its portable if your printing labels or even flash cards.
The connectivity is done via Bluetooth and the App can be found on both Android Play store and IOS App store. The App can be used for a variety of printers and Ive never had an issue while using a tablet or smart phone on a windows machine i had an issue regarding updated drivers however, once sorted the issue was not repeated.
The App from a smart phone or tablet is probably the best way of using this device and the App is fairly easy to use there’s plenty of templates that you can choose from or you could create your own labels, notes, pictures (only in black and white), flash cards etc.
The update from the previous model i believe is the paper size with the new format being 110mm however this printer will be able to take 110mm, 85mm, 53mm to suit most needs so if you don’t need to use the wider paper you can still have the option of using a different size.
The one thing that i used the most with this printer is the ability to scan and print notes, something that i used if i need to add notes to job form.
Overall the printer is a small form factor and easy to use. The Phomemo printer are thermal printers so there is no need for ink replacements which sounds good however you do need to factor in the cost of the paper. its a good product and its something i would recommend if your looking for one of these printers.

Its easy to use just download the app turn on bluetooth on your phone or other device you using app hold a button os a side of thermal printer for 3 sec it will connect with your device and done you can use it.
paper inside is secured so dont worry if this will be not working straight away just sipmly open thermal printer and preapere paper to use.
I absolutely love this and can stop printing everything i can. Amaizing for a gift I highly recommend this product.
