I think this works as I’ve seen no traces of insects or that one mouse that keeps getting in my cupboard for my cereals.

I leave it on at night and so far I’ve had no issues so I’m quite satisfied with it.

    Happy to recommend i

    I think it works

For those like myself who hate any creepy crawlies especially spiders I would recommend these for your home. I have used them before and I’m not entirely sure how good they are but I have minimal spiders to none and it puts me at ease a little with one in every room.

Plug in and the ultrasonic repellent works at a level that we cannot hear and it also has a soft glowing light which I quite like for a night light.

Would recommend, good value for 6 plugs.

I ordered these to replace another set I have from a different retailer which unfortunately the lights have started to flash which I find annoying.

However, like my old set, I’m hoping these work the same.

I hate spiders but certainly would never kill them, but much prefer if they stay in the garden not in my home.

I definitely believe these work as I have had no spider sightings since they’ve been switched on.

It generally takes up to 3 weeks to notice a difference, however I’ve not had to wait as I have simply replaced my old set with this new set.

These are much smaller and as such take up less room when plugged in, I would certainly recommend anyone who doesn’t like bugs or who has mice/rats to give them ago.

Definitely won’t break the bank to try them.

Easy enough to operate, just plug in and away it goes. Couldn’t hear anything myself, I popped them in our 2 lofts to try and keep them less spider web infested and wasp nest infected. They don’t seem to have affected our cat so that good. Will see if they do the trick with spiders!

Too soon to tell if they really work but they have already made a massive difference.

Small one is scared of spiders and saw one in his room and refused to go back in. I made a big deal about getting these and showed him that they are plugged in and already he seems much calmer about going back into his room.

Us humans, dog, cats and fish aren’t bothered by them. Obviously these aren’t for you if you have pet rats, mice or even spiders.

They do have a light on them which I wasn’t expecting but it’s not an intrusive light.

We don’t actually get a lot of spiders in the house so even if these just work on a physiological level that’s a win as far as I am concerned

A little late for these now, the situation resolved by the time they arrived – delivery took a little longer than I had hoped.

Will now be used as a repellant. These do explain they can take 3 or 4 weeks to work and that activity may increase initially. I would advise reading other reviews on this device, and these in general, as it can be such a nightmare managing pests in the house.

Just remember to make sure there is no easy access to card, paper, blankets, and food! Our little visitors got a taste for sweet potato… ultimately, the only reason we discovered the sneaky things!

I do hope these work as they’re a much friendlier method than many.

(Peppermint oil etc as well, it’s worth trying everything preventative).

Five stars, with the caveats mentioned.

since i got this i found it to keep pests and bugs away, im getting no more bites. It’s easy to use just plug in and you’re working, the ultrasonic sounding is meant to sound so it keeps them away a great easy way to keep bugs at bay and great value, no more spiders, flees, bed bugs, spiders, rats and more.

A much better option than using harmful chemicals, we had a problem with mice inside garage, so far not yet see any sign of them since I installed this, didn’t expect it will work straightaway give it some time definitely worth a try!

We have been having mice sightings lately and tried mouse traps with no luck. Seen this Ultrasonic Pest Repeller and thought we give it a try. It’s early days to tell if it actually works. The package comes with two plugs that you just plug into your mains. It emits a bright blue light when plugged in to show it’s on. My brother and I noticed we had headaches when these plugs are turned on, it must be the ultrasonic waves in action.

    early days

Easy to set up, you just plug it into the socket, it’s not that big which is great, has a nice glowing light which some may not like but personally I like the light, it’s not that bright but may not be best for bedrooms. I’m not 100% how effective it has been I’ve had a few spiders around the house recently which I haven’t seen past couple days, to be able to see if this has worked effectively may need to wait until there are more bugs, but I feel like it’ll be good, it seems good quality and well made. I will update my review once there’s more bugs.

This 2 pack of ultrasonic pest repeller works as expected I must admit, it scares away a lot of different pests like (repel mosquitoes, rats, cockroaches, spiders, geckos, flies) e.g. recently I had a mouse at home, I don’t know where it came from but after turning on these devices for the next day it was gone so it works as it should and I hope that no pest will come to my house and garage.
Great quality devices at all, for really reasonable price.
I can easily recommend it to anyone.

Not many insects to test this against at the moment. I haven’t seen any since I started using this a couple of days ago, although I don’t remember seeing any before that.
    I’m confident..

I had one of these plugged in near the back door and I didn’t see a beastie in there all summer but I’m still not sure if they managed to get past them to other rooms. They need a few weeks to work and I’m not sure if it affects my doggies or not. It’s one of those things that if you’re petrified of them like me then these are surely worth a go but I can’t really say for definite that they work.

Very easy to setup and use. Just plug them in. There is a very nice glowing light that let’s you know they are working. Can’t really say if they work or not as only had a few days and there isn’t too many insects about however, I will update when spring starts as we tend to get quite a bit of flying bugs with where we live. Fingers crossed they do as will make these great value for money. What I can say is that my cats have seemed no different so certainly doesn’t impact them as described.

Look good with the glowing light and easy to setup

A pair of compact insect/pest repellents that aren’t much bigger than a mains plug. Easy to install – just plug into a mains socket and power on. The unit emits a slowly pulsing blue light which whilst not being particularly bright may stop it being used in a bedroom. They recommend each device being suitable for a surface area of up to 120 metre squared and also may take up to three weeks to clear the room. The ultrasonic sound is not noticeable to humans. The devices do seem effective.

  18. JoseMRig says:

So long as you have plenty of plug points, these little units install easily, and start working immediately. I stopped seeing mouse scat immediately, but relief was temporary – my mice seemed to get used to the sound after a few days and came back. Hopefully, your vermin will be less resistant!

his is very handy to own if you are lucky enough to either live in the countryside, or can afford to live in big cities, or anywhere else come to think of it.

pesky critters are everywhere. and these little magic boxes, help to keep them at bay.

these are of the plug in variety. and use sound waves to disturb the hearing. meaning that there are no chemicals or poisons around making it safe for humans and pets alike.

i’ve been using these for a few weeks now. and can confirm that i have seen nothing since i started using them.

before i forget, here’s a quick list of what these work on: mice; rats; spiders; flies; and moths.

nice and easy to use, and seems to live up to its claims.

You get 4 pest repellers in a box with instructions and each one is wrapped in its own plastic bag.
I’ve had these plugged in for a while now but can’t say if they work or not, as far as I’m aware I don’t have any pests lurking around.
The first thing I noticed was the design – they are compact so don’t take up a lot of room when plugged in a double socket, unlike some plugins.
They have at least 800sq ft of coverage which is quite a large area.
What confused me was that it says to plug them in a socket that is at least 80 – 120 cm to achieve the best result. My sockets are just standard and not overly large but I don’t know what difference it would make anyway.
Overall, if they work they are great value at 13.47 for 4. I’m going to reserve full judgement on how well they work until the spider start coming out.

We live near a lake so there are quite a few creepys around and since I have decided to give this a try I feel like I have seen a little reduction in them! It is very eay to use literally as simple as popping it into the plug and switching it on. It claims to be low energy- we will check the next energy bill to confirm this as it is something that is on constantly for it to work!

Since our cat passed away, we’ve been extra vigilant on noises, as the houses are attached, if one has any mice then it’s easy for the mice to run through to anywhere else, so when we heard noises in the walls we knew it was time to take precaution.
And stumbled upon these, since having them in I can confirm I’ve heard no more noise so do I think these work? I certainly do, they are constantly plugged into the wall and these are a great buy.

I have plugged these in all round the house and am just hoping they work. I haven’t heard anything from the devices like high pitched noises or anything so just plug in and leave them to do their thing. I will do a follow up in a few weeks but at the moment I’m quietly impressed.

    Great quality and value

These plugs come in a pack of 4. Each of them are made out of a plastic material and can be easily plugged into the wall to activate.

Once plugged in there is a small light that appears on the top to indicate it is working. They do make a slight noise when plugged in, it’s not to loud but it is noticeable. I have had similar ones before, and in the first few weeks you may see more spiders appear as they try to get away from the frequency of the device, but now we rarely get any spiders on the house. Good value for 4 plugs

I have been facing a problem with insects in my apartment. and i just wish that these repellants work for me. I have read a lot about them. but i know that these take time to work properly. so, lets see what they do for me.

These little gadgets seem a great idea, but I imagine it’s difficult to be sure if they are actually doing anything. I’m also a little wary of how much power they might be using, given that they’re left permanently plugged into electrical outlets. The manufacturers claim they’re low-energy. I am, however, happy to give them a go, as I’m certainly no fan of spiders (but don’t like walloping them with my slippers!), and I prefer mice to remain out in the hedgerows away from the house. If these gadgets will just keep spiders, beetles, mice, rats etc away that’ll be fantastic. They’re certainly easy to use – just plug them in and you’re done! And they’re quite small and unobtrusive. But one concern is that the instructions said that for the widest reach they’re best not plugged in at floor level however, virtually every outlet in my home IS at floor level, which leaves me with some doubts about their effectiveness.

I like the fact that this item works straight from the box. There is no set-up required. You just plug it into the power socket and let it do its job.

Living beside a canal attracts a lot of spiders and other insects, especially during warmer months. I used to have one of these but discarded it when I moved house. From past experience, I know they do work. There is a gentle blue light on the repeller which also acts as a night light, which is great.

Overall, I am pleased with this product which is outstanding value at 11.99 as you get 4 repellers in a pack. Great find and highly recommended!

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI really like this concept of an ultrasonic Pest repellent and was very excited to try it out as we do get lots of spiders in the house. You get 4 of these and they are of good quality. Don’t have any nasty smell like other pest repellents which is a good thing as my husband is very allergic to insect repellent smell. Easy to use – just plug it in and that’s it. Love the fact that it has a very good coverage of atleast 800 sq ft (covers a lot of area). Also, at time when electricity bills are soaring it is really good to know that these consume very little electricity. I have just had it for a few days and it does say that for best results one has to wait for atleast 2-3 weeks so the wait is on. The only thing which was disappointing is to achieve better results it should be placed at a height of atleast 80-120 cm which has been an issue as we don’t have sockets at that height. in order to tackle this issue, we have placed an extension lead and connected the repellent. and hope to get some results after 3 weeks.

Low power consumption and good area coverage

Comes well packaged, with four easy to use insect repellents. As advertised emits an ultrasonic frequency, that doesn’t seem to be audible or in any way impacting on the human population. Automatically a good feature as saves on the expense and toxicity of other methods of insect repellent. Due to not being audible difficult to test and rate the supposed frequency changing technology, which means that the bugs don’t adapt to the sound. Really easy to use, completely soundless (to human ears), and doesn’t consume a lot of energy. Package says it takes 3 weeks to work, so its difficult to test, my home is not swarming with bugs anyway but there are certaintly spiders, especially at the time of year that the heating comes on — appears to work well, but by the standards of the product description difficult to judge as doesn’t promise a 100% reduction. Spider invasion APPEARS to be reduced, but anecdotally only as difficult to prove one way or the other. Worth a try and good value.

So I really like the theory behind these as I suffer terribly with arachnophobia. I also have a cat that likes to bring in live mice so I am hoping this will scare them away if I don’t get chance to rescue them. There are 4 in a pack but my concern is that it states they should be almost 2 metres from the floor. I don’t have any sockets that are that high apart from in the kitchen so I have no idea how effective they will be when plugged into the sockets close to the floor. They do have a blue light which fades and then goes bright constantly and this is a great night light so if anything it will be useful for that purpose. I will update once I am confident that the repellant is working.

    Easy to use

I saw this at my friend house and told me and all summer didn’t had problem with spiders or flies in her flat so I’ve decided to try also .
The price is very convenient and like that there is 4 instead of 1.

  37. ReynaQ76rgnlvgh says:

The most notable thing to me about these pest repellents is how compact they are compared to others out there on the market. When I first received the box, I thought there had been a mistake as it was advertised as being a ‘4 pack’ and the box was quite small indeed. ‘There’s no way there’s 4 in here’, I thought – but there is.

As you can see from the photos, these plug-in devices are compact and designed to take up only as much room as necessary, which is great. I’m never a fan of plug-in devices (whether pest repellents or air fresheners) that are designed to be huge things that take over the plug and wall space, drawing the eye with an unsightly design you’d rather nobody see. Safe to say, these compact little devices do not have that issue. They’re quite tiny and very sleek looking once plugged in, only taking up the plug space itself and no more.

As for the big question – do they work? – I’m not sure. Our household has tried many of these devices over the years (many, many, many – we don’t like bugs and other unwanted visitors at ALL!), but I can’t say with any certainty whether they really do drive the pests away or not. We use them on the off chance they do work as intended to keep the critters away, and we’d rather not risk taking them out and being taken over by crawly things (we live next to a field, so bugs, mice, rats etc are a big issue in general).

In summer, nothing at all keeps the hot weather bugs at bay, and we’ve never been able to drive spiders away in September mating season either, so I can confidently say that however they’re supposed to work has no effect in the summer months, but as for the rest of the time when most bugs and animals tend to hibernate/stay out of sight anyway, who knows?

    Compact and easy to use.

I ordered these to control the insect that like my house as much as I do. They are compact and lightweight and seem to do the job, although most spiders are hidden in December anyway. They have a glowing lamp on top, which is a good nightlight if you need one of those too. Since installing and switching on, I can say I have not seen any insects, so they are doing what they suggest.

    Pleantsong indeed

Love this as I hate spiders I like that it Repels most common insects and rodents and the night light is a bonus at night going to the bathroom it doesn’t harm animals but if you do have pet mice, rats and the like please please do not use it. Only just plugged in so I’ll wait and see what spiders I’ll see, you get 4 of these so definitely a bargai

    Think it will work fine
