I bought the basic model (not smart TV). I use Chromecast to stream videos. It works well without any problem.
It’s has described only used some of the features still needed fire stick has apps apart from BBC won’t or can’t play live stream?
Easy to set up and has a good picture and sound very good for the money – and quick delivery.
Great TV for my 11 year olds bedroom, has everything he needs and can attach his PlayStation and is a happy boy!
I had a slight problem with tuning but the suppliers were so helpful and on the phone, they paid for call.
The lady went through everything and the picture is superb.
Decided it will stay in the kitchen and the other tv is in the craft room.
Well worth the money.
Bought this for my telly bed as my Samsung tv gave up after 15 years, this is the second one I’ve bought of these, 24″ for the summer house. Great tvs for the price. Sound and picture excellent. Plug your fire stick, sky, play station etc in and it becomes a smart tv. Easiest tv we’ve assembled to a bed/wall highly recommend.
Really happy with this TV. I took a punt and wondered if was cheap for a reason but the quality is pretty good. I don’t think its ever going to rival high end units but for me its an excellent replacement for the old one I had before. I’m using it in my workshop/man cave linked to a soundbar so can’t comment too much on the speaker quality.
I already had a Roku box and am a big fan after switching over from a slow and buggy fire stick. The integration into the television seems to be just as quick and functional as a standalone stick.
Really light in weight, only just received this so can’t really add much more but for the money seems decent.
Picture is solid, but definitely needs help with sound quality.
Not a smart TV
I bought it for spare bedroom. Its easy to set up and works grea
The TV is good value for money however the screen becomes a bit less sharp when moving to the side
Very good value for money shame delivery wasn’t next day
Bought for my mums kitchen and works really well. Brilliant value for the money
All good ! Such good value for money
No instruction manual? Or where to send warranty card ?
My usual tv broke I needed a new one under 150 came across this one on Amazon very easy to use and set up good size great picture and sound also very light but very sturdy I bought the 32 ‘not smart just standard one of the best purchases I’ve made plus next day delivery with prime
Brilliant picture quality, easy to set up and move around the various systems. The remote is simple and easy to navigate making the viewing experience a pleasure.. wish I’d bought one years ago.. So far there are no negatives to report.
Great little tv, perfect for my bedroom. Picture quality is fine. The volume even on full is ok but not great. Maybe a sound bar would be bette
Good picture quality and Apps just wish it had composite video input.
Good little tv great picture
sound is a bit tinny but good for a bedroom
Great TV.
Easy to set up, great picture. Ace price.
Would definitely recommend
Item was delivered quickly and was easy to set up perfect size for bedroom.
Purchased for my elderly parents. They are very pleased with it.
It look me a while to get the feet on but that was my own idiocy, other than that it works great. Perfect TV for my bedroom
All the apps you need, netflix, prime, Disney plus also lots of things to watch on the TvS own app. Excellent TV especially for the price. Perfect for bedroom
Given the low price, I was half-expecting something a bit, well, rubbish. But it’s actually a great TV. It’s slim and looks really slick. It stands very sturdily on the feet. It’s really easy to set up and use. I’m very chuffed with it.
Love this TV , with all decent apps , great for gaming , brought it as my daughter TV would not let her use a headset , picture quality is really good
he picture, remote and set up procedure are all good and similar to many products costing 3x as much – but the internal speakers are hopelessly thin and tinny.
Fortunately I had a spare set of speakers designed for a PC and plugged these into the USB and earphone socket. These produce a wonderful full sound that make this a great TV for our bedroom, so, an extra 18 worth of speakers and it is fine.
Very easy to set up and lovely picture. Connects via Wi-Fi and Bluetooth easily enough and will work off a mobile phone hotspot. All app’s available for all streaming services except of course sky go but that isn’t on any tv except sky glass.
Unfortunately sound is tinny but can’t complain for the price.
Bought for the bedroom and can’t fault at the price. Easy to setup. Great picture, as we have a 4K TV I was not expecting too much from an HD version but was very pleasantly surprised, very sharp clear picture, good colour. One of the main reasons for choosing this model was the Roku system which makes using the TV so easy. Sound is good (though I have added an Azatom sound bar which makes it much better). All in all very happy.
Edit:
Tv today will not play a video via airplay and the audio by Bluetooth speaker no matter how hard I try.
Just what I needed for the home gym and at a great price. I can Airplay workouts from my phone straight to the screen. I can also have the audio broadcast from the TV to my portable bluetooth speaker (you need to install the roku app on your phone and select headphone mode for this).
I just had one for myself and would love to have another for a friend
Didn’t read the description properly and didn’t realise that it was not a smart TV but that is my fault not the sellers, other than that very happy with it for the price
Amazing value for such a feature rich TV. We only bought a 24″ version which is great in our bedroom. The apps are perfect and as we have Netflix, Prime, Apple etc it makes me wonder why we bother with Sky. Plug it in, connect to the WiFi, login to your streaming services and away you go.
The Television is everything I expected except I do not do gaming
Great smart TV for my little girls bed room she loves it. The sound quality is fab I know this as every thing is on loud. The picture is brilliant and a perfect for her room. Great purchase great price worth the investme
I liked the tv – picture and sound quality excellent. But I lost the remote. Purchased a so-called “universal” remote from Amazon. It will not connect to the tv. Please help
You need to spend a lot of time moving the channels into a recognised Freeview order needing lots of patience, then if you reset the TV you have to do it again. Trying to get customer support is impossible seeings that RCA do not even recognise the model number, I gave up after several hours trying.
The TV is full of great features and the picture and sound quality are good, I have not figured out Chromecast yet, but HDMI hard wire is my solution to that. For the price, this TV is good value for money.
I have had to reset the TV three times to get Google assistant to work.
Easy to set up. Clear picture and good sound. Perfect for bedroom. Would recommend.
Can’t comment about gaming uses as its not something we need.
Easy to set up apart from having to enter your email for a lot of the APPS. Sadly it is an android (GOOGLE) TV and isnt happy running on an iPhone or Alexa – that said the picture quality and sound are first class and was so easy to set up. Well please with it especially for the price and prompt delivery.
First of all I’d like to thank the seller of this TV HKC Digital for their brilliant response to my query. The TV is very good indeed there wasn’t a warranty card in the box when it arrived. Amazon suggested I return the TV & re-order but having got it all set up & working just fine I wasn’t willing to do that. Messaged the seller & got a prompt & very courteous acknowledgment of my purchase & confirmation of warranty from them in Holland.
The TV itself is spot on. Easy to set up & has all the apps you could want. My first Android TV – think it’s rather superior to platforms offered on others. Picture great, sound perfectly acceptable, remote seems fine. Bought for our attic bedroom as tired of lugging a TV up there whenever the grandkids come to stay! Have only used the smart mode as in it’s not connected to an antenna – but isn’t that the future anyway?
One observation. When you fit the feet. Use a good screw driver, one with a substantial handle that gives you plenty of purchase. The screws on mine were very hard to get in. Absolutely no problem – they do go in but you need to have the TV firmly held between your knees & give it plenty of torque. And no swearing!
Bought as a gift, was well received, easy to set up, perfect size for a bedroom, very competitive price, fast delivery
Everything was as expected from the Description. Some of the earlier reviews gave me the impression YouTube might not work; but YouTube and the other key apps were all there. The TV is a normal TV with a built-in Roku for streaming. The setup is very easy and quick. There is no dedicated YouTube button, but it is just as easy to use the on screen menu. It’s very light and easy to move. Sound is very clear. Unless I am missing something this is a very good product, ideal for a smaller room. Although when I was young, a 21″ set was thought to be too big!
Great value, cheap 32″ TV, just over 100. Not SMART but connect to your Chrome Cast or other device for online steaming.
Cheaper than 24″ monitors which have no sound built in, so can’t fault the value for money.
The message to me said: The item has to be signed for. However, the courier left it outside in the open, and didn’t ring for a signature!!!
Does what I wanted, easy to connect to Netflix ect. Has Bluetooth and built in Chromecast. Display is really nice and has lots of different ports. Overall very happy. Will say feet were not the easiest had a problem because the screws were slightly too big so I had to swap them for smaller ones. Took longer to sort the feet out then to set the tv up. Also the Chromecast is really poor, honestly better just getting a HDMI cable for whichever device you plan to connect to. And lastly you need to play with the sound settings a little bit but once I switched the settings to surround sound it was all good. Hope this is helpful to anyone looking to buy 🙂
In the advert it said it had Freesat and Freeview, it doesn’t have Freesat (one of the main reasons for my purchase). That being said everything else about the tv is excellent and given the low price I’m quite pleased.
Very good picture quality, sound seems a little bit “underwater” at the beginning, but it is easily fixable through the sound settings. I use it with google assistant on my phone, giving it vocal commands. It answers quickly. The only thing I noticed that is a bit annoying is the connection with bluetooth speakers/headphones: it lags a bit, as the connection was not continuos or clean. Other than that, I’m very satisfied with the purchase.
All worked but you need to take care if you have multiple devices in your home network.
It’s useful to connect Bluetooth mouse and keyboard for some apps such as mobile hotspot code entry.
Performance is good you just have to be patient for App to load, this is not a high end pc, but streaming services etc work fine when installed.
I had a list of requirements while looking for an additional TV for my home office, a ‘Smart’ TV, full HD (1080) not HD Ready (720), 3 HDMI inputs, a headphone socket for my speaker system and Bluetooth to be able to use a keyboard and headphones.
I’d found a Phillips for 170 that fitted the bill and then, on Amazon Early Prime Day, I found this RCA with the same list of features for 130. There were a few negatives in the user comments about this RCA TV so I added 3 years full insurance to the basket for 20 and I still saved 20 over the price of the Phillips TV.
I was surprised how lightweight this TV is, my concern was it would be easy to knock it over but, once the feet were fitted, it seemed quite stable.
Setting up was easy, I’m a retired cameraman and video editor so I think I know what a good picture should look like, I was impressed with the overall quality and colour of the picture, for me a few minor colour ‘tweaks’ were needed once I’d sussed out the menu system! The audio does benefit from adding additional speakers though.
In Smart TV mode this has all the ‘normal’ features you’d expect, HD channels, FreeView Play, radio channels and internet channels along with Google and it’s associated features like Chromecast, you can spend hours seeing what’s available and finding stuff to watch!
This is an Android (Google) device, for the security conscious, you can opt out of all the login and permission requests and still have a working TV, however some options won’t be available to you.
I use this TV with a Sky Q box and I have the BBC News on all day, the HD quality is excellent but, at 32 inches this TV does not show old archive footage, some American footage or poor quality footage very well compared to my old 24′ TV.
One minor problem I encountered was finding the remote code for the Sky Q remote to control some functions, after searching and trying all the known codes, I found a site suggesting some different codes for an RCA TV and 4246 worked for me. Overall, I’m well pleased with this TV.
This is a very cheap TV for its size.
The upsides are obviously the price firstly.
It’s remote is pretty good
The menu is well laid out
It has plenty of device connectivity.
Good but not amazing!
Picture quality is pretty good though it looks over bright or washed out in some situations.
The built in usb reader is OK but playback looks a little fuzzy in places. Video playback is definitely a little better through games console.
With some careful set up on personal the picture is very acceptable for the price. This TV is purely for use with a console and its actually not too bad.
Sound, the sound is shocking! It vibrates with any kind of bass or volume applied. You definitely need to attach this thing to some other sound source!
This may be due to poor construction or extremely poor speakers. If you are using this as a stand alone tv, don’t bother buy a better brand with half decent speakers.
As the console sends sound to the headphones this isn’t an issue, if you are using headphones again it’s probably OK.
Connected to some sound bar or amp and speakers it should be fine.
On this occasion what youvget is what you paid for but that’s not to say a more expensive budget brand item would be much better.
Is it value for money? That is subjective but overall I’d say yes in this instance.
