I think this is what you’d class as “perfectly serviceable” it isn’t going to blow your socks off, but it works.

Everything about this little light is plastic, the buttons on the back feel like you might shatter them, or it if you are too heavy handed, and it’s quite small would fit in the palm of your hand.

The light it gives out is good enough for close up recording, to throw a little extra light on a Zoom meeting etc it’s perfect for and the clamp should fit on your lap top bezel no problem.
The clamp itself again feels a bit weak and even though the lamp doesn’t weigh much, still feels unsecure.

For the price (currently under 19) it’s just O.K. if it was any more expensive it would get 3 out of 5.

This light is really amazing. Easy to install. It made a massive difference in the quality of my videos, lectures, and conference video calls. It has several modes and brightness levels, which are necessary to give you the correct brightness during your video call or when taking a picture. The size is not too small or too big, but it definitely would cover your whole face. It can also be rotated anytime and adjusted to fit your preferences and angle. However, I had a little issue when I tried to put on my PC monitor due to the monitor’s width and because it is a little bit curved from behind. But eventually, after adjusting the angle, it remains in its place without a problem. I had no issue when I put it on my laptop. The USB cable is not too long but enough. It is a good product but a little bit expensive.

It works exactly as I needed it to, so I’m very happy.

My home office is pretty dark as it’s at the back of the house, so I really needed one of these for my video calls. This works brilliantly, just charge it up and it’s ready to go. You can choose the brightness level which is really handy depending on the time of day, and it really does make a big difference when I’m on camera.

Very happy, I’d get another if I needed to and is recommend it.

Easy to use and works brilliantly

Really good value and fantastic piece of kit! Had a hard time with video calls due to low light levels so went for this, feels nice and sturdy and has plenty of light modes, dimmable and all sorts!
    Very pleased

I wish I’d bought one sooner, I find ring lights look ‘try hard’ when FaceTiming haha. You can literally see the ring of extra effort in my eyes. With this it looks like a twinkle.

This is easy to set upon MacBook Pro and iPad. If I want to diffuse the the light a bit I use a scrap of white muslin, or baking paper as a make shift mini light box. Im sure amazon sell mini ones, but this will do for now.

The med-warm light setting far more flattering. White lights way to harsh for my preference, the warm light is giving golden hour. Like I said at the start of my review, I wish I got one at the beginning of the pandemic instead of opting for the ring light hype. Far kinder on my imperfections and dark circles.

Can say it’s a well working light for that price.
Perfect for video calls and for live streams.
Easy to use it. Have 3 different colours and about 10 dimmable brightness levels.
    Good for laptops and computers.
    Very happy with this product.
So surely can recommend it to all.

This is a great little light to attach to your laptop for video conferencing, versatile too in that we clipped it to our shelving unit in the cupboard under the stairs, and on the brightest setting it gave us plenty of light to see in there. The clip obviously isn’t that wide as it’s for laptops, but it is a great little portable light to use around the house too, if you need a reading light at bedtime, if you need a bit more close-up light when crafting etc. – as long as you have something suitable to clip it too.

The brightest light setting was far too bright for my eyes when using with my laptop, but this was easily adjustable via pressing the buttons on the back of the unit (+ and -), you can cycle through the 3 different light modes by quick pressing the power button when the light is on. To turn the light on and off you long press the power button. The lightweight light unit didn’t need charging on receipt, and is charged by usb cable.

This is a great little portable laptop light that can be used for a variety of things.

    Bright and versatile

I often find myself with not enough light when I am having a video conference using my 4K camera. I decided to try this video conferencing lamp to see if it would help.

The nice thing I like about it is that it is battery charged and does not need to be plugged in.

It has 3 different light modes, yellow/warm, white/cold and white. The brightness can be adjusted with the button on the back of the lamp. It does not come with a USB wall plug to charger the unit, but it does come with a Type-C cable that is needed.

It would also be good for camping if I was to take my laptop with me and wanted to video conference with my family at night.

I think this is a cool piece of tech that is easy to use with no hassle. I would recommend.

    Works Well

This is a very portable and easy to use camera light that is perfect for my laptop. I usually work from home and this light has become very useful for video conferencing, which I do quite often.

It is USB rechargeable and a charging cable is provided in the box.

It is very easy to operate and it has a very flexible clip so you can position the light at the best possible angle you require.

The brightness (10 levels) and colour temperatures (3 modes) are easily adjustable to suit the shooting environment. I find that the warm colour temperature seems to complement my complexion and makes me look more youthful, so I shall be using that setting more often .

Overall, a great product that does what it says it does and I am very pleased with it. Happy to recommend.

    Easy to Use Portable Ligh

This light is very easy to operate.

There are three buttons on the rear.

The on/off button has to be held down for 1.5 seconds to turn it on or off. A short press of the on/off button when the light is on changes the colour temperature of the light between three types (warm yellow 3000K, warm white, and white 6500K).

The + and — buttons adjust the brightness through 10 levels. A short press of either button will step it up or down a level. A longer press of these buttons will smoothly brighten or dim the light. Just release the button when the desired brightness is reached.

A USB A to USB C cable is supplied to charge the light.

There is soft material within the clip used for attaching the light to objects such as a laptop or monitor.

Being rechargeable means the item could be used as a torch or placed in a wardrobe or cupboard and used to light the space.

Having the adjustment buttons on the top would be more practical than having them on the rear of the device.

An adjustment wheel is used to all for a vertical and horizontal angle adjustment of the light and to lock the desired angle in place. Fully loosening the wheel, it is possible to remove the clip and mount the light on something else, such as a tripod with a suitable mounting screw.

It is a convenient lightweight product which can be used for several different situations. Although the operating time of 2 hours may mean alternative products are suited better for some. As a conferencing light, it works well.

This product has multiple brightness settings and I wish I had it sooner. It’s perfect for video calls in dark rooms or awful lighting, it makes the call seem more professional.

Firstly, “This is way brighter than I thought it would be”, which is a good thing.
So this little but mighty light, gives a great way to have a nicely diffused light source, anywhere you want it.
This offers you total control over the way you light your shot/selfie/conference call, you get 3 different levels of warmth, you can control the intensity of light, “up & down”.
You’re given even more control because you can rotate the light through 360degrees, you can also pivot the lamp head to face “a down” or “Up”, so you really can decide how to light whatever you want to.
It holds to your laptop/tablet/phone, by way of a clamp that is easy to open and release onto the item you wish to clamp it too. It has rubberised feet on the clamp so that it won’t cause any scratching or damage to the piece of equipment you’re using.
    So my final thoughts on the “elice Rechargeable Video Conference Lighting Kit”;

Quality. =Good (Build is good, all the seems are clean and tight, no rattle or tapping)
Aesthetic. =Functional (It looks like it can do its job, because it can)
Utility. =Very good (Across devices, across locations, it can be further powered from a powerbank)
Value. =Not bad (It is good at what it does, and very portable)

Would I recommend the “elice Rechargeable Video Conference Lighting Kit”?, well, given how portable and easy it is to carry, the build quality and power it puts out”Yes”, personally I intend to keep this in my standard kit bag, along with mics etc, as part of my go to kit.

Floods light in all the right ways

I’m using this in a dimly lit hotel room and it is proving very useful. It is about the size of a credit card wallet or playing card box, has several light settings and can be clipped to the laptop or stood freely around the desk. Even at low light it provides a good quality of light and at it brightest could light anyone say a few feet away.

I wish it came with a few coloured gels for different effects, but for making videos, conference calls and general use this is ideal, and much smaller than a selfie ring ligh

This is a great little light – it’s attached using a clip on to the top of the laptop and comes with a USB cable that’s long enough to reach the laptop port without stretching – probably about half a metre long.
It has a simple switch on the back – long press to start it and then you can adjust the brightness to suit you.
I had this on maximum brightness to try out and I thought it might be blinding when it’s right in front of my eyes but it’s surprisingly not – it made a real difference to how I look on camera on Teams meetings – much brighter and better quality than without it.
I would highly recommend for it’s use, but I think the price is a little too high at 25 at the time of this review.

Great light but a bit over-priced

Very light, slightly cheap feeling. But it has 3 colour modes, multiple brightness settings, its a long hold to turn on, then short press ro change colour modes. Separate up and down buttons for the brightness.

Small, easy to use, clip is good but not to strong for fear of cracking the screen.

I have my desk in an alcove so my lighting can be pretty unflattering. This was really handy to make sure I wasn’t some sort of cave dweller on my work calls.

The fact that ultimately its also just a Rechargeable torch is great. Can see this being really helpful if your fixing things in small places etc.

Quite pricey at 24.99. But is a good little light.

    Feels cheap, works great though

This arrived well packed, it has 3 light modes and I can clip it to my laptop, the light is really bright so good for purpose. It feels light but sturdy and it can be charged with the cable supplied. Recommended

    Great for video calls

A simple rechargable laptop light that clips onto your laptop screen.

This lamp has 3 Light Modes and 10 Dimmable Brightness Levels and is ideal for online meetings, remote working, live streaming or even Make-up.

The lamp has a built in 1500 mAh Battery which is charged via USB cable and the lamp can be used with any device with a USB port.
The fixing clamp is stable and is padded to avoid scratching your laptop.

The video light can be rotated 360 degrees, so you can easily adjust the video conference light to find a light angle while taking computer video conferencing.

A well made piece of kit that you will wonder how you have done without it for so long.
Well worth investing in this lamp for sure.

A good price for this gadget, recommended.

A handy rechargeable light to help your video calls look a bit better lit.
You can change the type of light from white to warm white as well as adjust the brightness from quite dim to bright.
It has a spring clip to attach it or you can remove it and it has a standard tripod thread.
    Works great recommend

Great little light with 3 colour settings and about 6 colour brightness options.

Very easy to clip on to tablets, laptops, mirrors, anything within a half of an inch width. That’s really my only issue the clamp is quite small. It stops you having more options to attach the light to.

This is completely wireless when charged so you could easily move Themis about to different things making it very assessable! It’s small enough to pop into your bag and take wherever you might want to use it! It’s so bright at the highest setting and gives off a great glow to skin.

I’m so happy with this little light. I got if for FaceTiming my daughter at night so I didn’t need a huge light on but I’m so impressed I’ve started using it for make up application and a night light on my books, yes you can clip on to top of your book pages and put to low light setting and warm glow works best for me!

Great little light. Very very happy

    Brilliant little ligh

Generally happy with this, there’s plenty of options for brightness and colour temp. The opaque cover does a good job of diffusing the light so you get an even illumination.

The light body has a standard 1/4* threaded socket, as used on camera tripods etc. so you could use this light for vlogging.

The supplied clip screws in and there’s a knurled wheel to lock it to desired angle and rotation. TBH the clip isn’t ideal, I’d have preferred the hook-over mount as used by web cams. The clip won’t work well on a curved monitor for example. Also on laptops with narrow bezels, I doubt the clip would grip well unless you didn’t mind covering-up some of the LCD itself.

ON the positive, charging is by USB-C and as far as I can tell you can charge and also run off USB-C for long meetings. The light is feather-weight so OK for travelling. Unlike ring-lights, this doesn’t create the characteristic circular highlights in your eyes; that said this is also pricier than ring lights.

Overall, I’d give this a cautious approval unless your laptop has a very narrow bezel.
