Remington Advanced Coconut Therapy Hair Dryer – 2300 W

I Simply needed a new hairdryer and was used to a coconut product ( by another manufacturer) this one fit the bill price-wise , and with it being a well known brand I thought this might work for me. It’s really good!!, has a diffuser attachment which is of a good size and works well on my naturally curly hair. The heat settings are gentle and it has a cooling button for setting your curls. It certainly does the job and is aesthetically pleasing. Highly recommended

I got it with 45% . But after using it, I would probably pay even the whole price without regrets. One of the best products on the market from his range.

So nearly a year later… smooth straightening or curling due to rounded exterior. Like with any straighteners best to do cool shot with a hairdryer after to seal. Plastic that gets too hot. Best to use with a glove (not supplied). The pouch pretty. The temp settings and range good. Lock for plates. However quality of surface of the plates deteriorates. Mine has a thin scratch and I’m a very cautious user, using a silicone mat, only user, never travelled with it, even at home stored in the pouch. The plates touch each other tightly at the tips, but there’s a gap at their other end, the one closer to the control buttons. The buttons don’t get accidentally pressed when straughtening but they do when twisting to curl, but theres lock button so useful. Not to be used with products residue on hair surface, so product type matters, something absorbable, because it can burn into the plates edges. Also there’s only one word I can describe the smell with when their hot: fish oil. Nothing coconut oil about that. I bought on offer which was what they should be selling at considering the plastic gets too hot and there’s no mat or glove included. Good length swivel cord.

Lovely hairdryer and dries my hair quickly without leaving it brittle. Unfortunately its on the heavy side for me personally but I do like it so will persevere.

When I received the straighteners I thought the colour was nice, the heat up fast, easy to use and do a great job, however if the plates are at 230 the barrel gets to the same temperature which should never happen, so after a couple of burnt fingers, ears and my face, I thought I need to send them back. This is not the sellers fault but Remington now needs to step up and test some of there products before selling. This is the 2nd pair I have returned and after using Remington for over 10 years I have had to switch to a different brand
