I bought these to replace a much older set I’ve had for years. This set heats quickly, easy to put in hair with no twisting or entanglement when removing. They look great & are sturdy and very well made.

Nice rollers and produce a nice curl. Heat up real quick, say a couple of minutes and you are ready to go. My one and only gripe is that when trying to lift the roller from the heated box, especially the bottom ones (as they stack one on top of the other) the roller sometimes gets stuck and the clip comes off leaving the roller behind. This means you have to get some small pen or something to help you life the roller up off the metal plate. This could have been thought through a little more I feel. But with that said, overall I am happy with my purchase.

I didn’t think these would heat up as quickly as they do but I was wrong they are easy to use and even though they are hot they don’t burn fingers,
    Very happy with them

My new toy! I love these heated rollers, they heat up really quickly and are easy to put in. I pop them in then do my make up, by the time im done theyre ready to remove. They give me big bouncy curls, perfect for a busy working mum like me

Very quick to heat up , you do need to use to get used to them, I like them but hands not has nimble anymore, I would say the size is suitable for short hair but they do curl very well have to be careful clip doesn’t mark hai

Easy to use. Curls lovely. If you’re looking for more traditional curls, it’s fantastic. I have think naturally curly hair. It made easy work curling my hair. Did an 1950’s pin up style. Beautiful.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI’m really pleased with these ‘heated rollers’, in particular because there are a number of smaller rollers (besides larger ones) that fit my fairly short hair. The rollers are soft (velvety) to touch, so do not burn the fingers when first heated, and do not harm the hair either. The clips to keep rollers in place are very easy to attach. Overall an excellent product.

I was lucky that a colleague let me borrow hers (which is why i went looking for some myself and managed to actually find the exact same!)
I love them, I get great curls 9/10 (and the 10th is just me having a bad hair day, panicking and messing it up). Not too hot in places that you can touch, simple to use…. I’m not sure what else you want to know about it?
Would not recommend for traveling, its a bit chunky, heavy and just not designed for that.

Golden Review Award: 5 From Our UsersThis unit does not have an on/off switch.
In my opinion it would have been so much more convenient to have been able to leave it plugged in and just turn on and off on the unit itself each time you want to use it instead of having to get down to the plug socket every time. Otherwise I highly recommend.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersSo much easier and cheaper than faffing around with that dyson thing. Rough dry hair, bit of mousse or root spray, curlers in for half an hour and you’re good to go. I got a bit carried away and left them in all morning one day and looked a bit like a poodle when I took them out so you really don’t need to leave them in for long at all to get big curls. Very impressed, lid on packaging prevents rollers from getting dusty, they heat up quick too. Genuinely cannot think of one bad thing about them.

The best heated rollers I’ve ever tried.
Hair wasn’t frazzled by them either.

This product is great, heats up really quickly and really easy to use!
The only thing I would say is I have really thick hair and so 20 rollers just isn’t enough to do my whole head, but I can imagine if you have thinner hair it’s perfec

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersAmazing results!! I felt like I had just been out of the hairdressers! Only downside and I’m not sure if it’s due to my hair being long and thick but the curls fell out after 30 mins. Maybe if I invested in good hair products it would help them last?

Golden Review Award: 8 From Our UsersThese curlers are outstanding!! They heat up super fast, hold the hair well … they don’t slip and the grips are outstanding. I’ve got another set of hot curlers that annoy the daylights out of me as the grips don’t hold the curlers in place, but these don’t have that problem at all. Yes I would recommend buying these curlers. BTW, I have long hair (length is halfway down my back) and I have a lot of it. And there is more than enough curlers in the set to curl all my hair without having to take huge chunks of hair per curler, which means that I end up with lots of nicely set curls. The unit is a nice size which will make them easy to pack in my luggage when travelling.

I’ve been looking for new heated rollers for some time dreading the day my old Clairols packed up. I bought these to leave in my apartment in Tenerife. They are fabulous. They stay in long and mid length hair. Don’t burn hair or fingers. The design really is genius. If my old clairols ever pack up I’m getting another set for home. I think too big for travel but they aren’t travel set. Enough of sizes I use first time. Just brillia

I’ve been using a curler all my life and now I’m so bloody annoyed that I’ve been wasting hours of getting ready time on curling my hair. Don’t even think about it. Just buy them. God, I can’t even tell you how easy they are and the curls look great.

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersI needed some heated rollers to add some lift to my hair. They heat up very quickly, and they definitely do the job. I find them quite hot to handle, the ends are cooler but I have small hands and find them a bit unwieldy. I have to let them cool slightly before I can use them. That aside they are ok.

WOW ! These heated rollers are perfect. My hair doesn’t normally hold a curl but when using these rollers I had curls! They heat up quick. I left them in for 15 minutes, my choice, & I had lots of curls which lasted all day. They don’t get the hair tangled & glide out with ease. Best ever heated rollers. Packaged well & arrived on time.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI had similar heated rollers 20 years ago but after they gave up, I headed towards wands, barrel dryers, heat up crimpy devices, none of which worked. So I decided to try these and they are excellent! Quick to heat up, easy to pop in and perfect curls within 15 minutes. Just so easy and I am so cross I hadn’t bought them earlier. I’d forgotten how to pop rollers in for the ultimate volume curl but a quick video tutorial solved that. Properly recommend.

I have a lot of fine, shoulder length hair which doesn’t hold a style/curl for long, especially in damp
weather.Really gave them a test this weekend on a night away and the weather was atrocious but the
hair held up! Very pleased with them. As for travelling on a flight with them,I would say they could go

I gave my heated rollers to charity years ago because I decided to keep my hair short, years later I’m growing it and needed these rollers. I’d forgotten how quickly my hair curls and thankfully did a trial run when they arrived, Shirley Trmple eat your heart out I’m very impressed with these rollers, they heat up quickly and I look forward to using them properly and removing the first one after I’ve put the last one in. Good quality rollers.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI have used loads of different kind and types of hair rollers for the last 20 years and these are great! They are easy to use, warm up in minutes, the clips are holding the hair nicely (I was worried because sometimes clips can be loose). The velvety surface of the rollers is nice too, it helps to hold the hair together and is gentle on the hair at the same time. Regarding the negative reviews that I read here, come on girls, you just have to know what you are doing, no hair rollers in the world will magically make your hair nice and curly by themselves 🙂 I am glad I did not believe the reviews and tried these myself, very happy with them and highly recommend. Just watch some videos on how to use them if you are not sure, use a thermo spray before and a hairspray after, and bear in mind that the time for how long the curls are holding, depends on the type of your hair and the weather too.

These are a bit fiddly to use until you get used to them. The lid opens up at the side – should open at the front. They do get hot and work well curling the hair. Once you get used to taking the rollers off the hot rods by the clips, withour SQUEEZING the clips, its ok – if you squeeze the clips the rollers drop back onto the rods. Its just a matter of practice and getting used to them.

Easiest rollers I’ve used because of the clips. I’ve used this on myself and my Mum. I have shoulder length think hair and there are enough rollers for all of my hair and the clips hold in place which I’ve never been successfully been able to do with the mental grip rollers. As my hair is thick I get a lovely wavy finish with soft curls.
My Mum, on the other hand, has very fine wispy hair from illness which can be prone to damage easily. She loves these as they get hot enough to style her hair but not hot enough to damage her hair. With her hair she gets a tighter curl and great volume.
Heats up super quickly and is easy to use without burning fingers as the roller is removed from the base via the clip and therefore easy to lift out without catching the inner metal.

I bought these to pop in my hair for 10 mins in the morning after washing and drying my hair. I only use about 6 ( I have long, fine hair). The results are amazing – I have had lots of compliments and the curl stays in my hair all day. The velvet rollers are kind to your hair and its a bit tricky at first getting the rollers out of the case and unclipping them but I have now got used to this and I really prefer the clips to pins any day! An on/off button instead of having to plug it in and out would have been better but you can’t have everything!

Absolutely amazing product!! Iv never been able to use heated rollers and like the result but these r so easy to use!! Love the wee clamp type clips for the rollers, feel so much more secure!! So quick and easy, u swith them on for literally 5 mins, fire them in ur hair then leave them for 15-20 mins, (longer if u want but I’m usually running late!! ) take them out and give ur hair a quick ruffle with ur fingers and ur done!! 2 days later my curl is still there!! (not a curl like orphan Annie, nice waves!!)

    Amaaaaaaaaazing!!

Golden Review Award: 21 From Our UsersMy hair is way down my back/below boob length (see reference photo). It’s fine, flyaway and does NOT hold curl at all. I could plait my hair, sit in the sun all day, use all sorts of magic potions but after one time running my fingers through it.. it drops. It’ll look super messy, frazzled and lank in a matter of 2 mins. So I was apprehensive to try these.. but figured I needed to have ‘grown up hair for a wedding next month.

    ## I’ll update this as I go! ##

    FIRST USE..
Didnt need to read instructions, it was self explanatory. Well packaged. I used small sections with a few small spritzes of firm hold hairspray before wrapping and rolling on to the preheated rollers. My hair was washed last night before bed and 100% dry this morning. I used a fine toothed comb and attempted to get it on the roller as smooth as possible.. see second pic. Clips were east to use. Seem very sturdy. The rollers themselves weren’t too hot to hold and felt silky. I’m confident they won’t damage my hair. I left them plugged in the whole time I was putting them in. They warm up really fast and heat up/cut off much like an iron – they cut in and out to keep the heat up when necessary. Very easy to get in and out of the holder – don’t know why other users had a problem. Anytime I had a roller off for any length of time (if I wanted to re-roll the section as it was messy, for example) I put it back to reheat and chose a different roller. Admittedly it was fiddly figuring out the best method for such long hair! Warning.. make sure your hair doesn’t wrap on the plastic ends… the teeth on them catch the hair and tangles it up when you try to unroll. Makes for ripped hair and knotting.. but I got the hang of it half way over my head, using my index fingers as bumpers as I rolled. I redid the top sections as I had a couple of leftover rollers and was super excited to see a stunning, defined curl!! Can’t believe it! Going to leave them on for an hour. I won’t trust a 5-10 min set and I want it to last all day……
Will update on the outcome and see if I can update more pics.

Used on my long fine hair that doesn't normally hold curl

Golden Review Award: 61 From Our UsersExactly how imagined the product. I am a complete dummie in hair styling subject and I did a lot of research, was still quite undecided as I have very fine hair, just covering covering ears, but not even chin level. I struggle with my shoulder recently and holding the hot brush could be difficult. Researched many of heated rollers available and really liked these, they looked really appealing, very feminine design.

I think the courier was still in the process of starting the engine up when I was already pulling the rollers on 🙂 It will need a bit of practise, but after couple of uses I am getting to grips with it. I was initially worried regarding the velour covering as my hot brush is spiky so hair doesn’t slip off, but it stays on and hair come off smoothly, no tangling or catching like with the brush sometimes. I was quite taken by the idea of the large clips instead of pins you slide down to secure the rollers and that was quite important factor when I looked at different brands.

Contradictory to some other reviewers they come out very easily out of their slots, not sure how you have to haggle to break them, unless somebody had a faulty item. They glide out and back in with no effort, gently does it. Heat up quickly, there is a clicking sound similar to when the iron makes when reaches the optimal temperature. I usually keep them on for another 2-3 minutes and start styling the hair. I feel they get much hotter if you keep them switched and with my fine, short hair the recommended period of time is sufficient so it is not too hot.

The box is quite large (roughly the size of a 2 slice toaster, but slightly heavier) so if you were to put them in your hand luggage it would take up around half of the space and it is hard plastic so no squeeze. I will stick to my hot brush for such occasions as it is very compact.

My fine type of hair keeps the volume for 2 days with spraying some setting lotion on the strands prior to styling, but I am still learning how to use them and also with different type of hair or different product results could be different.

Overall I am a happy customer and would recommend the Remington rollers.

Just a word of warning: it does smell of melted plastic when rollers are being heated up over the first few uses, but gradually it wears off with use.

    UPDATE AFTER 2 YEARS

To me they are not a quick style fix in the morning, which is a drawback. I let my hair dry naturally and then put the rollers in, for about 10-20 minutes. Too long to wait in the morning when you are rushing around. I was actually recovering from the surgery when I bought them and had more time. So basically, I don’t use these on a daily basis, but more over the weekend when I have time to let my hair dry first.

Also, if you keep them switched on for long, they get hotter and unpleasant when touch the skin a accidentally, so might be better to switch them off once hot enough.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI had to leave this review as I tend to only read the negative ones to decide on a product and my hair actually turned out better than any of the YouTube videos I’d watched. These heated rollers worked FAR better than I dared hope! Heat up quickly, easy to use once you trust that they are hot but not so hot that you can’t just handle them properly to wrap your hair round. It said to leave rollers in 5 to 10 mins and I really thought I’d need to leave them in much longer but as a trial run I left them in for the 10mins stated and well…next time I’m going to try 5 mins since the curl I got with 10mins was a beautiful tight curl which I would desire for more of an evening look. I am so impressed! I’ve had to give the easy to travel a low score only becuase I don’t think it’s compact enough or strong enough to be thrown about a suit case for your holiday. A wee weekend away with the car though and definetly!

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersThese are a great set of heated rollers and I found they were fairly easy to use for my shoulder length hair, the only issue that is a little tricky is getting used to putting them back in the right way with the clips on. Having said that I quickly got used to it and the fact the clips heat up is a great feature. The whole case is very neat and would be easy to travel with. The only reason I have not given 5 stars is simply that like with all sets of rollers it would be good to have more of one size, I feel I don’t use the smaller ones but need more of the larger but I guess that depends on the length of your hair. Overall I would still say these are the best heated rollers I have had just because of the easy to use heated clips and the smooth surface that does not get caught in your hair.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersThe rollers are slightly difficult to remove from the heater, which can be a pain when you are trying to get your hair done quickly, otherwise no issues there. There is no off/on switch so you need to be extremely careful that you remember to plug them out once the rollers are in your hair. As far as the rollers go they are very small even the ‘large’ ones but I was just about able to get all of my hair into them which is impressive ( my hair is very thick and down to my hips) For the price I think you can’t go wrong here, they are aesthetically pleasing being rose gold and look great in my makeup room. The curls are lovely and natural looking when i took them out but fell out shortly after, probably my fault for not leaving them long enough but I will keep using and get better and using them correctly! I also burned my finger and my forehead when using for the first time and thought it was me but i burned my finger after using them a few times too as the rollers get super hot so it’s difficult to hold them when putting them on your hai

Golden Review Award: 72 From Our UsersI have very long hair and I have been trying to get curls that stay for some time now.
Managed to get my hands on this item after a long research and it’s been my best buy ( hair product) .
Curls are really nice and smooth which last for some time with the right hair spray . I like the fact that it has enough rollers and 2 different sizes.
It heats up the rollers quickly enough and then they are ready to be used. They don’t get too hot which is good in a a way but sometimes I do wonder how the curls end up so nice when they aren’t boiling lol
I can’t fault the item and I am really happy with it .

Golden Review Award: 135 From Our UsersBought these curlers with an Amazon birthday gift token from my father.
I received them in the post and unpacked them whilst waiting for my daughter and granddaughter to arrive for a fun day out but she was running a little late so I plugged them in while I was in the kitchen and ended up putting in10 curlers without the aid of a mirror.
I have medium long, quite fine hair.
They remained in for around 10 minutes when she arrived at the door.
I managed to remove them and run a wide tooth comb through my curls and open the door to surprise her with my new head of curly volumised hair!
They are easy to use and store away still with the fastening clips on them so no fiddling about when you next want to use them and you have only one hand free.
I do wish the electrical cord had it’s own on/off switch as this would stop me and others leaving them on longer than needed.
I like to turn off the unit just as I am going to put the curlers in so I don’t forget later when I seem to be rushing to finish getting ready etc.
I do like the fact that there are 20 curlers but I seriously would rename the 2 sizes as small and medium not medium and large as described.
Anyway I love these and they will add a bit of fun to my life when I go out and have shining volumised hair this winter. Think I need to order more hairspray now!
