Overall i’m very happy with this, but i’m not seeing the quality I thought I would, but it’s still really good compared to the old one, so yeah i’m happy.

The display works well, no issues with that. It is not adjustable, so sits at one height. You have to adjust your chair for best viewing. Assembling is really easy, has only hdmi output and no type c.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersLarge screen with good quality. The curved monitor and eye saver mode really help to avoid eye strain, so overall a good choice if you use the computer for extended periods of time. Also, comes with an HDMI cable so despite what the “frequently bought together” suggestion says there’s no need to buy one separately.

Ok so this monitor is over 6yrs old now but for the money (i got it for under 100 on a sale day) it’s fantastic. I bought it for video editing mostly and it works great for that. Gamers might want more than 60Hz but its enough for most games that i play, and being 60Hz it only has VA not IPS panel so loses contrast and colour a bit when viewed from the side but hey its minimal really and sure we all sit in front of our monitors anyway. Overall it’s a bargain and I’d well recommend this monitor, i use a DP to HDMI for my PC and its spot on.

Excellent product at a great price. The curve has noticeably reduced my eye strain. Easy to set up – mine is on a bracket but the stand goes on easily with one screw if you’d rather use it with that. Looks good.

Bought this for 100 on the 38% off day deal which was great value for money.

    Verdict: Recommended.

I am very short sighted and after doing some research decided to get a curved screen.
It has made such a difference to me. I am no longer getting headaches and can sit at my desk in comfort.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersGood value for the price. Screen quality could be slightly sharper but it is OK. It would be better if you could adjust the height of the screen, I work with 3 screens and I have had to put this screen on a couple of books to have them all aligned. Samsung stand is on the left in the photo. But overall good.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great design, picture quality could be sharper.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersVery nice picture quality and the curve make it easy on the eye. After trying this one I ordered a second for my home office. I mounted it on an arm mount, it didn’t come with the necessary 10mm M4 screws so either order these at the same time or should be readily availble from any hardware store.

Golden Review Award: 14 From Our UsersIf you are looking for a gaming monitor this is not the one for you. It is only good for office work / viewing documents, although even for viewing documents the words get pixelated. If you are looking for a gaming monitor or doing illustration/design, get a better monitor. Also, the energy rating is E for this monitor, not A which they advertised.

I like this monitor for what I am using it for i.e. as the 3rd monitor for my current setup. I like it as a work monitor esp the brightness.
BUT one thing you absolutely have to take points off from this monitor is due to the stand.
I use VESA based arm to attach to the monitor. But due to the stand, you can’t tilt the screen down. You literally have to scrape off the back panel to remove the stand.
Just google the monitor model and remove mount.

Its not the end of the world, but definitely annoying and very highly likely will cause some sort of damage to the panels while doing so (if not done properly).

Golden Review Award: 2 From Our UsersBought this monitor to replace an old square one I have had for a number of years. Relatively easy to set up once the resolution was reset on my computer to 1980; 1080. The picture is bright and clear although I had to increase the text size from the default “smaller” to “medium” on my computer.
I found that the adjustment angle of the monitor, at -2 degrees to start with, very stiff and required a couple of attempts to get it to the +20 degrees I needed. The information sheets supplied with this monitor cover many languages with the English section being very small and basic. I have down loaded a copy from the Samsung web site in English with is much better.
Overall I am quite happy with this monitor and up to now, having got used to the wide screen from my old square one, would certainly recommend this unit.

Golden Review Award: 4 From Our UsersA decent size monitor for a small office with a great screen/image quality. Comes with an HDMI cable and a UK plug. Easy to install – just plug in the HDMI in your laptop and the screen connects automatically. One of the drawbacks is that with the standard base, the screen height is quite low, so it needs to be raised for ergonomic setup. Also, the base causes the screen to tilt forward, although in the product images it is shown that the screen is perfectly perpendicular to the ground. Unfortunately, that is not the case, so once again, something needs to be placed under the base to adjust the angle.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great screen quality, but not very ergonomic

Golden Review Award: 7 From Our UsersI really wanted an IPS monitor but there seems to be a dearth of them at budget prices so I settled for this VA monitor from a big brand with curved screen (which somewhat increases viewing angle) and which I got at a great price. And after more than a month I’m very satisfied, no dead pixels, and I use it all day. No headaches, no eyestrain, no flicker even though it’s only 60Hz so I haven’t bothered with the blue filter. Colours look great to me but I’m not a photographer or a graphic artist. I use it with my laptop’s speakers and microphone in a dual monitor set up which is okay but I intend to get a separate webcam and possibly clip-on monitor speakers as I conduct online workshops. Well recommended at this price

Golden Review Award: 12 From Our UsersI don’t really bother about pixels etc unless it’s obvious they are missing etc. or there is a definite fault in these screens. I have a twitchy eye caused by allergies and my large flat monitor is causing me issues. I bought this to stop me looking wrongly all over the place and having more eyelid twitches and for that and the rest of my vision this curved screen is perfect. I have no issues with it other than I can get annoyed at the weird silly on/off button at the back of the monitor and which is also a toggle to get to the screen edit menus. It’s tiny, it’s in the wrong place and trying to toggle up/down/left/right with something the size of a very small aspirin – which you cant’ see and is about two inches up from bottom and about 3 inches in from right-rear side of the screen – sends me nuts. Without that silly on/off button I would have given it a 5 star review.

Golden Review Award: 9 From Our UsersWorks really well, I purchased it to trick a gpu as originally I was looking for hdmi headless ghosts but then this popped up at 30 times the price! And thought ‘oooo curvy’ so I bought it and love it…. I’ll grab few another next time the price drops again

Pretty good screen, not a high end gamer screen but certain fit for 95% of us normal computer users.

It’s nice and light, pretty straight forward to use with hdmi lead supplied, there’s no display port other than hdmi, hence the none gamer screen. Versa fittings are on the back (200*200 I believe)

Has a headphone jack, but no speakers (it’s a monitor) a nice little stand and it’s a Samsung so build quality as always is perfect.

If you’re a hardcore gamer you might want something with a higher refresh rate ect. But as I said for most things this screens perfect. Just get the 27inch version.

OK. So some of the reviews suggest the quality isn’t interstellar and to be fair, that is true. But for the price, its more than good enough. I already had one of these monitors and have been very pleased with it over the past 12 months. I wanted to add a second matching monitor, so bought it again. The only weird thing is the energy rating sticker that came with the first monitor says “A” whilst the one that came with this monitor says “G”
I can see some of the reviews didn’t like the monitor stand that comes with it. Looks ok to me and has never fallen over. Yes, it does tilt, though not dramatically and no, it isn’t height adjustable – that’s what unused books are for. That said I now have both mounted on a twin gas strut stand clamped to the desk. I couldn’t work out how to get the stem of the old stand out of the older monitor, so the stem is still in it, although the round base came off easily enough. At this price, life is too short to expect the world. 5 stars for what it is and does.

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI use this screen along with my laptop for my PhD studies. So it is primarily text. I do watch YouTube videos on it and have found it be of decent quality while watching videos.
I do not game so can’t attest to what it would be like for that usage.

I was worried it might be too large, but now I don’t think I could go back to a smaller monitor.
The picture and screen quality is brilliant. Colours and text are crystal clear.

At first, I wasn’t sure if the curved screen was a bit of a gimmick but actually it’s great, I can notice the difference between the flat screen on my laptop and this monitor and I prefer the monitor hands down.

I’ve attached it to a wall-mounted bracket for ease of positioning and that works well.
Overall this is a great screen with fantastic picture quality.

Bottom line – yes I’d purchase again, in fact this is the second screen, I’ve now purchased one for my son.
