This hairdryer is brilliant, and great value for money. All the attachments make it easy to style your hair, and it doesn’t make your hair go frizzy or fluffy like my other did. It’s a nice weight, and not to heavy. I love all the shark products I have.

I’ve had a Dyson for the past 3 years but it recently started over heating and cutting out all of the time. I did loads of research to decide whether to replace with the same or try something new. I have to say I am really not disappointed in my choice. I love this hairdryer! It’s a little heavier than the Dyson, and also probably a little noisier but not much. It’s really powerful (but you can lower the power) and drys my hair long hair super fast leaving it soft. I’m really pleased and highly recommend!

First off, I have curly hair. It dried my hair very quickly. This is a huge bonus for me as I have a young child and my time is limited. It’s much quieter than my last hairdryer, even on the highest setting. It’s not as lightweight as I was anticipating but since it takes half the time, it’s not a huge issue. It looks very sleek and modern and I love the adjustable prongs on the diffuser. Overall, I’m pleased with this purchase.

As a barber I bought this to add to my collection, I wanted a light but sturdy hairdryer and works well on my clients hair, dries hair quickly and sounds very professional and not too loud! No way would I spend more than 150 though.

Got this hairdryer for myself as a treat and I am happy so far . I have hair just below shoulders length and it dries it very quickly. Boys short cut hair dries in seconds. It is lightweight and really powerfull. Only the noise I cannot get used too, is really weird, like a vacuum cleaner sound

By far the best hair dryer we’ve owned. Super-fast drying, easy to use controls/buttons on the back of its head (rather than switches), leaves my hair silky smooth and far less bulky than other hairdryers. Also really impressed with the roller brush attachment. It isn’t just a gimmick. It really does give a professional blow dry effect, and it is my go-to instead of hair straightners now. Okay, it’s not cheap, but you get what you pay for in spades, and having used a Dyson, this isn’t just comparable. Like Shark’s vacuums, in my opinion, it’s superior and still much cheaper. Highly recommended!

Two Dysons down and now on to a Shark (having followed a similar route with my vacuum cleaners!).
Both Dysons have broken – the second one in under a year because the internal filter can’t cope when you use any sort of product on your hair. I’d call that a major design flaw! Yes, you can take the whole thing apart and clean it but then it does all over again in a matter of days – overheats and won’t work.
Soooo, why bother when the Shark is half the price and so much better?! It dries faster, my hair has more volume and looks in better condition (honestly!). The Shark is noisier than the Dyson but it’s a hair dryer so that’s allowed! Very impressed and definitely won’t be going back to the Dyson!

great for curly hair. the difusser is amazing and it helps a lot. used only on minimum heat/vent setting, and for me it’s still kind of drying to hair. i have used it also for adding heat to deep conditioning and that went great. i wish it were more silent (i know this is all hair dryers in general), so one can dry hair without waking up the house. i don’t regret the purchase. pretty cool.

I have wanted one of these for a long time! My hair after a few weeks feels so much better than using my previous hairdryer, it is really quiet and I love the way you can change heat to suit you which again seems so much better than before. Excellent buy.

I purchased this hairdryer as part of a prime day deal. It arrived quickly and well packaged. The hairdryer comes with 2 attachments. I only really have use for the concentrator, which works very well. The hairdryer is powerful and quick to dry my hair. Over all I am pleased with the hairdryer. I dont think Its worth the full recommended retail price, but as I got it on a deal I am quite pleased.

Reading all the reviews and articles online about Dyson v Shark I was torn, but the price swung it for me.

I have changed hairstyles though, so its great for volume and quick dry, but my Dyson was great for a sleek bob

I got this in the sale, this hair dryer is great!
I have curly hair and the diffuser is big, it can be adjusted and really speeds up drying time
Everything is nice and compact so good for travelling.

This product is absolutely amazing. It is perfect for blow-drying and straightening hair with a brush. It leaves my hair silky and shiny, and the hair looks very healthy after using it. I rarely write reviews, but on this occasion I thought it was important to share my positive thoughts about it. I highly recommend it. It was between Shark and Dyson for me, and I’m very happy I made the decision to pick Shark. The price is lower, but you get the same results, plus the magnetic nozzles, weight of the dryer and its power are massive advantages.

Bought this hairdryer as a birthday present for my daughter. Initially I bought a Dyson but after reading some reviews and doing some research I decided to get a Shark. My daughter has very long thick hair and it normally takes some time to dry her hair. Shark is brilliant for the job and my girl is very happy with it.

Wish I’d have got one sooner, was between this and the dyson but this one is a lot cheaper. Glad I went with this as after using my sisters dyson hairdryer I can’t see much difference. Dried my long hair in 10 mins and feels so soft and smooth

I finally splashed out and bought one of these, it took me a couple of tries to learn how to use it best for my hair. I have long, 2c/3a type curls and found that having the extendable prongs in the diffuser really helps target roots or ends specifically. Cut my drying time in half and now only use low heat setting. Definitely happy with this hairdryer. Added bonus of sounding like a spaceship
