Mocktail Mojito
Ingredients:
- SodaStream Sparkling Water • Ice cubes
- 4 tsp fresh lime juice
- A few sprigs of fresh mint
- 1 tsp honey
- Slice of lime to finish
METHOD: Muddle the honey with the mint. Put a handful of crushed ice into 2 tall glasses. Divide the lime juice between the glasses with the mint mix. Top up with SodaStream Sparkling Water.
Old Fashioned Lemonade Popsicles
Ingredients:
- 45mL Soda Press Co Passionfruit & Mandar Kombucha Concentrate
- SodaStream Sparkling Water
- Passionfruit Pulp
- Squeeze of Lime
- Lime Twist Garnish
METHOD: Add ice, plenty of passionfruit pulp, and a squeeze of lime to a glass. Fill with SodaStream Sparkling Water and top with Kombucha concentrate.
Movin’ to the Country Mocktail
Ingredients:
- SodaStream Sparkling Water
- Ice cubes
- Strawberries
- A squeeze of half a lime
- Slice of lime to garnish
METHOD: Add fruits and fill with ice to the top of the glass. Pour in SodaStream Sparkling Water and then finish with Kombucha concentrate

The machine is exactly like my parents had when I was a child and soda stream was a new thing out altogether. The only difference is it is lighter and slides around the kitchen counter which makes it hard to use. It litterally has no rubber feet.
The bottle didn’t lock in place when I first used it as this terra one is not a twist into place one. So you just push it upwards and it locks into place…. or in this case didn’t or didn’t stay locked in place. I pushed the button and woosh. Flooded everywhere. Was not impressed.
Once I got the hang of making sure it was locked up in place I pressed it 3 times. The water was hardly fizzy at all. So next time I pressed it 4 times and it did make a slight difference but still wasn’t all that fizzy. Definately not as fizzy as a can from the shop. Have you ever dried to drink a can that has been open a few days? Yep, that is what it was like once I added the pepsi max syrup. A 3 day old, flat drink that you coukd tell had a slight bit of fizz hanging on in there for dear life!
I tried it for just sparkling water and yes, it is much better suited for just making water sparkling. But even then, sparkling is not exactly fizzy. There is a difference between the two.
So if you only want it for sparkling water then it is good for you. If you want it to replace cans of drink like pepsi max then it may be a bit dissapointing. We found the pepsi max was bitter too but that isn’t down to the machine and this review is about how this machine works etc.
In short, good water sparkle, flat, 2-3 day old equivalent opular fizzy drinks. I haven’t tested it on any other syrups out there. If I find that other drink syrups allow it to stay fizzy once added and don’t taste bitter, I shall update this review.
As a hole I woukd recomend it if you do not have high expectation.
I am so late to the party but this is blooming amazing!!!!! Has saved me so much money!! I am now making fizzy drinks at home for a big family . There are loads of flavours you can get to . This machine is so sturdy and fits in perfect with my appliances
The best thing I have EVER BOUGHT so fun and you can fizz up any drink and it is great for any age 0 to 1000000 we have used it every day and it has made us never dehydrate and we drink 20% more then usual.
Wonderful product % recommend.
Much more convenient to just buy the syrup rather than having to carry large 24 can packs home from the shop
Not a lot cheaper, maybe doesn’t taste as good as the canned stuff, but close enough.
Trading in the old CO2 cartridge is a faff so that could be made easier, it takes quite a bit of paperwork and time at Curry’s but it’s OK.

If you buy sparkling water or soda (US readers, check up the difference with the UK definition), it really does provide what you need cheaply. We gave our old one to someone in need.
But the flavours are still not right. Just drown then something as a mixer.
