Bought this for a present as was very different gift idea. She very happy with it.
The black box is very decorative.
The glass looks good.
It takes 2-3 weeks for it to adjust.

Storm glass is a unique decorative ornament that can also help u forecast the weather, with wooden display stand. The stand has a curved well in the middle to match the rounded bottom of the glass so it stays up straight & doesnt fall over. The crystals inside this glass teardrop shaped object will change in appearance when the weather is changing so u can know whether to expect sun, snow, storms, rain etc. It is a lovely decorative art piece that is also a talking point if u have visitors & u can explain how it works & how it was used to predict weather before ships sailed centuries ago. It comes presented in a very nicely patterned box so would make a great gift, u can even get the base engraved with a name or other wording to make it a more personalised gift to treasure.
I haven’t seen this work as it’s a gift for my parents. But it comes in a well-presented box.
Inside the box you get a seven sided glass triangular shaped storm glass and a wooden base.
Inside the storm glass there are crystals in fluid , these react to changes in the air pressure and quite well predict the upcoming weather .
I’ve got a couple if storm glasses already but what I love about this one is its unusual shaped and design ( they’re usually bottle shaped ) .
Priced under 30 this is a bargain that is aesthetically appealing as well as being useful. I’m happily recommending .
