I was more than impressed from the first glimpse. It’s definitely exceeding my expectations. It’s not looking as a cheap plastic toy. It’s has a professional look. Material is strong and durable. Adjustable tripod allows to fit to kids size.

I am more than happy to recommend this set .
It will be perfect as a Christmas gift for kids!
Perfect product!
My little one is really interested in telepascope due to a story book he read. So we have set it up in his room which was very easy. Haven’t made much use of it other than to look at the moon. There’s a moon filter which gives a better contrast and reduces strain on the eye.
Made from sturdy material and is easy to set up and use.
Me and the little one have enjoyed using it and will continue to.
This telescope is quite easy to set up if you follow the instructions. This was a refreshing change from some I’ve tried out in this price range where setup is a bit of a nightmare.
The tripod is reasonably stable, so the telescope stays put and you don’t lose track of what you’re viewing. It’s not too heavy, which is a plus point.
With a bit of practice, it is very easy to get a better view of the stars and the moon.
You can take a picture of what you’re looking at using your phone in the phone holder provided. This is a bit fiddly, but I liked the wireless remote key, which means you can take photos with your phone using it as shutter control.
I expected the telescope to be larger, but on reflection it’s a good thing it isn’t, as it’s easier to store.
A good way to stimulate kids’ interest in astronomy without a huge outlay.
I was quite surprised at how much they managed to cram in to what seems like a fairly small box, you get a decent tripod, the telescope itself, various adaptors and instructions.
The telescope itself is plastic and very light, I can only assume the lenses are plastic too but don’t let that put you off as the image quality is good. There is a little bit of setup required but nothing too complicated and you can then gaze upon the universe from the comfort of your home or garden.
We downloaded a star map app on our phone to help us know where to look and have been enjoying this telescope when the clouds permit.
There is also a smartphone adaptor in the kit which is a great addition. I don’t have much to compare this to other than a pair of binoculars which I have been using up till now but it seems like good value to me for everything that you get.
This is a nice little telescope for beginners. It’s easy to set up though o think it will take practice to get used to the settings and configuring them for the best viewing experience unless your used to using telescopes. As a newbie I found it exciting using with my little one to look at the moon and stars.
We’re very much beginner hobbyist astronomers in our house, and in my opinion this is a great beginner scope. From knowing very little about the assembly when unboxing, this scope took about 8 minutes to assemble following the super-clear step-by-step guide included with it. The photo’s do a good job of communicating clearly even to a novice, and the children took to putting it up and then down like ducks to water. I like the fact that it is a complete set and includes everything needed to get up and running. We had an easy time finding the moon. The construction looks fantastic from a distance, but when you handle it you can feel the flex from the plastic, but considering the low cost I still think this is reasonable balance and a good way for any beginners, like our little ones, to dip their toes into the hobby as an first scope without breaking the bank.
Took me a while to tackle setting this telescope up since I have never played with one before. It is good enough to take an impressively close look at the moon and my small helper was excited by what they could see. It comes with a filter for moon viewing.
Easy to set up and very good instructions.
It can be used to viewing terrestrial objects too.
Lovely little beginners telescope this but best for viewing larger objects like the moon. Finding stars or planets with this is possible but very difficult because finite adjustments are very difficult, you have to loosen the handle or grips around the tripod which moves the telescope too much to follow a star/planet. Viewing the moon is far easier. Start with largest Lense (Smallest magnification) to locate the object then switch lenses refocussing each time until you find what you require. The view is crystal clear and the holder for the phone to grab a snap is really good once setup properly. The kids love playing with this but do need help to set it up properly and use it.
I must admit that I’ve had no previous experience with telescopes, so am definitely not sufficiently technically experienced in the subject to comment on the specifications of this astronomy telescope from Nacatin but can certainly comment on the experience.
This has been one of those rare experiences as a parent you have whereby your little one becomes wide eyed and can’t stop talking about their new hobby in astronomy and you can’t help but get excited and joined in!
The telescope is well made – it’s honestly smaller than I expected it would be but feels and looks like it has very high build quality. The mounts, tripods and attachments are easy to assembly and disassemble and it’s incredibly easy to use.
I’ve only had the chance to try the mobile attachment briefly but our little one certainly seems impressed by it all and it seems like a very clever feature.
All in all, this has been a very good experience item and can certainly recommend it to any parents who’s little ones are showing an interest in astronomy.
He’s 9 fascinated by planets stars and moons so we bought him this so he could see

Good
+ Passable quality given the price
+ Easy to assemble and the instructions are clear
+ Good clear images
+ Good phone holder
Not so good
– It is entry level and the alignment sometimes is a bit off as the plastic parts are not meant to be that advanced

Easy to set up and fun to use for kids or adults. Works well and you can see so much detail in the sky.
