Having initially had a issue I contacted customer service who were great and immediately sorted out my concern- the camera is very well constructed and easy to navigate and the picture/video are for the price point amazing/ no problem recommending this brilliant all round produc
Great camera easy to set up and the night vision is great as well.give me an alert every time someone passes by would recommend this camera and would definitely buy agai
A good product for the price ,and straight forward to set up.more or less plug and play also the loss of internet is backed up by an SD card ,good if the internet goes down. And no monthly fees an added bonus.
i use this camera to survey my driveway where vehicles are parked. So far it has done what i expected it to do. It videos and follows people who enter into the cameras view. It has missed people, but this is very rare. I am pleased with its operation. The camera picture is ok compared to my previous camera it replaced that was three years old but i don’t think it is much clearer. The spot lights provide good lighting and improved picture quality at night.
Got 2 of these cameras .. they are brilliant .. picture quality is perfect, the audio is clear, records 24hrs daily but also takes small videos and up to 3 photos when the camera is activated .. we can watch our little man playing in the garden as it follows him around .. the after service is also 5* any problems and the team are only to happy to sort the problem(s) immediately even when I unfortunately deleated the camera by accident from my phone .. definitely recommend this camera and company .. and now going to purchase my 3rd one
This is the second one I have bought.
Works very well although the intelligent tracker doesn’t work quite as well as the first camera I bought but does the job.
Highly recommend these cameras
We have 5 of these cameras and they have worked really well for us, they were easy to install, the app is easy to set up and add the cameras to and they provide excellent coverage of the areas we need. One of the camera’s recently went wrong and Topcony Support were very efficient in assisting us and are sending us a new camera to replace the one that has a fault on it.
Is there an alternative power source other than that provided as the plug does not fit inside the case of the extended power supply fitted on the wall.
Will a cable on Amazon 5v DC 12v be sufficient with a USB connection on one end and Jack type on the other?
I got this canera as an ungrade for our current ones and on first impressions it looks good. Its well made, easy to set up and does what it is supposed to, which is a bit eerie as it follows you when moving around, but thats what its for and it does this well. The footage is very clear, the zoom is too class and so is the sound recording.
I only have three small gripes with it at this stage, the first is the cables which are attached to the camera for the power, reset and ethernet i would have liked a little longer so they would fit through a wall so all the cables are inside the property rather than being outside in a junction box.
The second is in regards to the saved footage from the camera, it may be i’m not usung it correctly, but the camera saves the foitage to the SD card, when you go to the Sd files they are all there, i would like to be able to edit these with a swipe like on an iphone message to keep the ones i want and delete the others to free up space in the sd card, i know they overwrite but i would prefer to manage this.
The last minor gripe is the camera is quite sensitive even with the sensitivity turned down as it sometimes triggers when nothing is there which it did in heavy rain yesterday.
Apart from these very minor issues or preferences this is an excellent camera which i would highly recommend.
Easy to install and set up.
Does what i wanted it fo
Easy to set up and install, brilliant picture quality in the day and at night. Auto light at night on human detection, I can control them through my phone. You need to insert a 128gb micro sd so you can view any play back, the 2 way audio is great. Very happy with the purchase.
his product is easy to set up, perfect colour night vision, ptz is very effective, picture quality is very good on hd on sd card,i use a 64gb sd ,no problem with recording movement that can be sensitivity adjusted to account for leaf movements, value for money
We bought this as a security protection for us. It gives us piece of mind, knowing who is at the door or who comes near the door.
We got this camera to keep an eye out due to 1 neighbour incident. It didn’t have many reviews but many were very favourable. It took hours to set this up because it comes with leads that are way too short for the placement. I had to invest on extending both the network and the power adapter lead so I could install this at approximately 6 meters from the power socket and our home network switch (I don’t trust wi-fi signal strength so it is LAN connected).
The picture quality is sharp for 1080p and night vision is good too. It does feature a security light which comes on at night time. I found out how to activate the motion tracking too so this camera does support it.
My only 2 gripes are as follows:
It takes a few seconds to activate alarm recordings. Although it records all the time, I have seen the alarm and security light take several seconds to activate, sometimes missing the event.
Any footage that you record and download will play at very high speed if there is no motion going on. We experienced a very rare event this past weekend when a sonic boom was heard throughout many areas of the East Midlands (U.K.) which shook our house. I went to the camera via CamHiPro to the precise moment it hit our area. I can play the footage back perfectly, but when this is transferred/converted on the PC, the video plays about 4x speed and doesn’t carry any audio, so I cannot share my footage with other people.
EDIT: A couple of weeks on and we have worked out how to convert the video to full MP4. It isn’t obvious in the CamHiPro software how to do it, but it can be done. It cannot be actioned from the PC so this software is required to do the conversion. The good thing is now we have captured evidence of a car crash on our street with an anti-social neighbour which will be handed over to the police later today.
This was by far the easiest cam to set up on both mobile and PC. Camhi Pro has always worked well for mobile, while HiP2P Client is great for PC. Picture is good, reasonably clear for both day and night. The track and record works very well, I tested under several conditions and with the sensitivity turned down (unlike the other 3 cams I have) wasn’t recording bushes moving. It picked up and formatted the SD card straight away. I have mine hard wired, no issues with router no drop outs, (unlike one cam I have, that’s a nightmare) Overall, good value cctv cam. With most cameras, it’s a shame they don’t use the same sensors as mobile phones, that give really good quality images, unless you want to spend three, four, five hundred pounds, you won’t get that quality image. I will be buying more of these, to replace the other three. Oh, I like that it’s black, a little more covert.
Works well not hard to set up does not auto track like my last one did and hard to set up so the light comes on if you walk to the front door or out of it but good for what it is and value foe money
Very quick and easy to set up, amazing picture quality both in day & night mode.
Intelligent tracking puts a box around the person it tracks until they are out of site.
The intelligent night light is brilliant, you can have it in colour or black & white.
Connects to your phone so you can control it when you’re not home.
Fast delivery.
I would definitely recommend this product.
I bought this a month ago and waited to see how it performs. I am pleased with it so far. Price was competitive and the camera works as advertised. The set up is very easy if you use the Ethernet cable method. I take a power feed from my garage and the home wireless reaches it at the back of the garden (looking towards my house). I like the way it swivels to follow the object around the garden and back of the house.
Upgraded security camera to this model,so far I am very impressed, picture quality excellent and night vision good as well, motion detection very good, extremely easy to set up and camera is about 40 feet away from router with no signal issues at all, playback via sd card easy, had a couple of questions for customer support and they replied promptly and were very helpful!
Also when registering product for warranty it was upgraded from 12 months to 18 at no extra charge!
Will happily recommend this camera!
This Topcony camera is well made and feels robust. Installation was straight forward. Screwing the unit into place was a little awkward due to the bulk of the body, even with a fairly long screwdriver. Easier to finish off the screws with a ratchet wrench if you have one. The power cable length is quite generous but unless you have a power socket nearby you will probably need a power cable extension. I also purchased a cheap junction box. Although some people have managed to place the wires into the back of the unit behind the foam it seems better to place them in a junction box for easier access eg: if you need to do a physical camera reset, without having to unscrew the camera unit. How easy it will be to connect to wifi will depend upon how near your router is. I connected easily enough, but the signal was intermittent. I had a wifi extender which I brought into service again and this solved the problem. Connecting via ethernet was not really feasible for me due to the location of my router. Due to the position I needed to place the camera ie: under guttering, I had to place the antennas in a V shape and sloping forwards, but this has not been a problem.
The supplied manual is pretty good at outlining the functions of the unit and app though there could be just a little more detail at times eg: setting up the pre-set camera positions. You need to position the camera, give the position a number and set it. You need to clear any entry before entering any more numbers. You also need to clear any entries before entering a camera pre-set number to get the camera to go to that position by pressing “Transfer”, which is an odd word to use for the action. Though it is easy enough to work out it would also be useful if the manual detailed the camera parts eg: SD card slot, ethernet plug cover.
In action the camera is very good overall. The Human Detection function helps to lessen false alarms. It is worth experimenting with the settings. The alarm recording time is fixed to no more than 14 seconds. It would have been useful to have some control over this as this is very short, though a new alarm recording will initiate if a trigger is still present. Auto tracking is pretty good, but seems less reliable when the subject is closer to the camera eg: if a person passes close to the camera and walks towards my doorway to the left it doesn’t always follow them to the doorway. There seems to be more false alarms when in night vision mode. The clarity and sharpness of the images is excellent. Support by the seller both via online questions and answers and by direct email is excellent. Paul
I have fitted quit a few different types of these cameras over the years and this has all the features in one camera also its app.Goon night vision , It can be viewed on a PC on the local network and on third party apps easy to set up great aftersales communication Great camera for its cost.
I’m currently using it in my House, but I did buy it for my Holiday Home, looks like i will be buying another, the camera is excellent indoor and out , motion detection, tracking, night vision excellent. The app is so simple to install and set up . I’m very Happy 100% recommended.
I have now purchased a second camera, the quality is excellent as is the price the picture quality is very good.
The installation is a dream it literally takes a couple of minutes to setup.
Quality of video is excellent. Detail is great. Installation straightforward
This is a brilliant camera. Speedy delivery and arrived well and smartly presented in its box. Comes with all the accessories you would require to install and setup the camera properly. Unlike most other cameras at this price, the manual was well written in English and easy to follow. Even has handy diagrams and screenshots to assist.
I use Blue Iris and this camera was immediately found on my network thanks to being ONVIF compatible. Great that it has Wi-Fi if required but I would always use ethernet for a more reliable stream. This is my first PTZ camera and I can certainly say that it is a true upgrade from my other fixed bullet cameras – the flexibility to change angles is very handy.
Easy to mount using the four provided screws. All wiring was taken care of with a junction box beside the camera for a neat job. Built quality is impressive too so I have no concerns about the longevity of the unit, not to mention the IP66 rating.
Picture quality is a noticeable step up from my older 1080p cameras – sharp image quality with good auto exposure settings to produce a very usable image. Good wide field of view paired with the ability to tilt and rotate gives near to 360-degree visibility. Would definitely recommend positioning the camera in a nice central location for this reason.
Overall, I am very pleased with this purchase. For the price it is very good value and a perfect addition to my existing CCTV setup at home. I am definitely a huge fan of PTZ after purchasing this. Impressive all-around package and great value – what’s not to like?
I particularly like the intellegent night vision. When it detects movement at night it switches to colour mode with led floodlights. Added deterrent to the farmer who keeps driving his vehicles over our lawn.
The picture quality is amazing.
They move to track an image and movement
The sound recording is excellent
Night time image is perfect.
Very easy to set up and app recognised straight away. Bear in mind that this needs a 2.4Ghz network
The LAN and reset lead to me should be much longer, if mounting then its a waterproof box outside or a big hole in wall! I went for box as much more practical
After setup, I found the app easy to setup preset positions so I can simply tell camera where to point. One wish is I’d have liked it to scroll through them automatically but no deal breaker for cost
I love the ability to autotrack – for a camera of this price thats excellent to use
Bit fiddly to get Hipro2 client to accept the camera but once realised how to theres more info available for tweaking or you can log onto camera direct through IP address but I found Hip2Pro easier
Image quality is brilliant ad the fact you can get colour at night is exceptional
Only one gripe really and thats the video resolution and bitrate cant be adjusted – that said once set into HD mode it more than likely will be more than enough
All in cannot argue for price and features are more than enough for a home CCTV.
Overall a recommended produc
I purchased this camera to replace another PTZ camera, which did not have humanoid detection.
It feels well made and was easy to set up using a network cable plugged into my router initially, before adding it to my WiFi. What I thought was great is that it makes you change the default admin password as part of the set up process, great for security!
This new one is much better than my previous camera as I am getting no false alarms from moving rain, shadows and swirling leaves on the driveway. The picture is clear and sharp and the humanoid tracking works very well as long as the person is walking at a normal walking pace. I have made several set points and the tracking will go back to the last set one after it has finished tracking.
Although it’s the same 1080p quality as my old camera, the snapshot’s received in the notifications seem just that little bit better quality as is the overall video image quality.
It has a colour night vision option, but I am using infra red as I don’t want the bright white lights shining on my neighbours windows. They are very bright which is good as it can act as a security light if needed.
The only thing I would like is the ability to restrict where the humanoid detection ‘detects’, but I think that is an app issue and not an issue with the camera.
Overall a great value camera.
I wanted to upgrade my current cctv camera in my back garden as although it had motion tracking it was fixating on a tree which was blowing in the wind. When I saw this camera was a make I recognise as good (a few neighbours have Topcony and seem happy) I went ahead and bought it. The Humanoid detection was the biggest draw as I do not want a camera obsessed with my tree nor do I want my dogs setting off the alarm constantly.
The intelligent tracking is remarkably good and totally ignores my dogs and thus far the tree, framing only human motion thus reducing false alarms. I might even set up the email notifications now they will not be too abundant.
I am using Camhipro on my phone and tablet and viewing on my PC via the IP address in a chrome or internet explorer browser or via the HiP2P interface. I also view on my tv using free IP cam viewer app.
This camera may physically look like some other Topcony and iegeek cameras but it is not the same and the intelligent tracking is far more advanced and indeed superior. For the price — I applied the discount voucher of 10% off at the time of purchase — I do not think it can currently be beaten for picture quality, night vision quality and Humanoid detection.
I have attached a video which shows the human auto tracking.
I bought one of these to add to my collection of other static IP cameras. Although my static cameras are great for keeping an eye on my cars, the back garden and other angels around the house I bought this one as it has person tracking and the ability to rotate it.
The person tracking works great and easily follows a person walking around in front of the camera. Night vision is on the same level of all my other cameras but it also has a coloured night vision mode which shines a bright light when enabled this can be used as a deterrent.
Cloud storage enables you to save into camhi Pro app cloud for as little as 89p per week or longer subscriptions can be purchased. If bandwidth is an issue then SD card recording is also available.
Overall seems a very good built camera with lots of great features.
Overall the camera is fine but although the supplied power cable is 3m long, the multi-purpose cable from the camera itself is only 40cm long. This multi-purpose cable has the reset button, power inlet and ethernet connections. If the power cable connection is badly positioned it will not survive water ingress.
It would be much better it the multi-purpose cable itself was three metres long – this would mean all of the cables could be located under eves or similar away from direct rain / water sources and access to the reset button would, subject to positioning, be easier (not requiring a ladder to reach!).
So after a few years of having cameras everywhere around my house as I really like the level of security that they give you, I’ve found that a camera that can track any type of movement seems to be the most effective in dissuading people from coming any closer to the house unless they actually need to, you’ll find even delivery drivers hesitate until they know that they need to come onto the property to deliver.
This model is a Wi-Fi type but still needs a power supply none can be connected to an nvr system like I have done at my own home, this enables you to remotely watch any location that only needs power and is in distance of your router or any type of extension for your Wi-Fi.
Images come out clear, the main tracking facility seems to be able to follow anything that moves although it does prefer humans which is how we have it set up and this enables us to be sure even when anybody is on the property at any given time and record the moment for future use if necessary.
I needed to upgrade an exterior camera which connects over wifi – I was using an ieGeek IE20 camera but this Topcony TY10 model seemed to offer a higher specification. In fact the two cameras look almost identical and utilise the same user software so I guess it is just a question of an internal firmware upgrade.
I downloaded the CamHipro android app from Google Playstore and connected to the camera without a problem. I then installed the camera outside on a garden shed to monitor the house and garden. The picture quality is very good day and night.
The manual is adequate, but you will need some trial-and-error to set up some of the features – for example, several adustments are on a scale of 1-100 without any indication of which way round the numbers apply to, say, the sensitivity of the motion sensing alarm. Also, some things in the manual seem to lag behind the software within the camera – for example, to connect directly to the camera with a web browser, the manual says ‘only Internet Explorer’ but Chrome worked perfecty.
You can set a range of different types of alarm, although the motion detection is basic and so any movement (such as trees blowing in the wind) can trigger an alarm. I configured the camera to send an email when an alarm occurs and this works well, although again the manual says only a single photo is attached but in fact the software allows up to three images to be sent. The automatic tracking is impressive, though the speed at which the camera rotates to follow the subject is not that fast – so if someone walks past the camera quickly it may fail to keep up with their movement.
I have also accessed the camera using ONVIF without problems.
There are certainly some improvements to the quality of the software and documentation which could be made, but bear in mind that this camera is only a fraction of the price of even a semi-professional model such as Hikvision.
I decided to take a chance on this camera to replace my old static exterior one as it has night vision, the pan/tilt that I want and most importantly for me, the ability to record video locally. Opening the box, all the essentials that I would need seemed to be present including fixing tools, long power cable, manual and short but welcome ethernet cable. The quality and construction of the camera appears good, being made from sturdy matte white plastic which has no bend or flex, should be durable!
Setup can be done by the CamHi app, but me being a geek I went via the built-in webserver, which hosts the important WIFI configuration page. The camera IP can be found easily for those able to access their routers. The ability to control the camera is embedded into the device webpage, with plenty of configuration options for those suitably minded. I have included a short video where I display most of the configuration options available. Notable features include h265 video, DDNS, ONVIF, FTP storage and email notification. The image quality is clear and crisp for a 2mp camera and audio pickup seems to be very sensitive. Motion tracking seems to work accurately and intelligently, albeit a little slow, night vision also works great. I am pleasantly surprised with the features and value of this camera and very happy with this purchase.
I’ve had a couple of these types of CCTV and this new one is an absolute bargain and packed with useful features. It’s got all the standard stuff plus 360 degree viewing and it can be pointed downwards underneath the camera which some cameras can’t. The image and video playback and download (to my iPhone) is simple as is the installation of the micro SD card via a little rubber window as opposed to some cameras that have a fiddly flap needing a tiny screwdriver.
What I think is really marvellous is the ‘Intelligent’ mode of night vision. With this switched on via the easy access menu, when the camera detects movement it switches on a light so that the subject can be illuminated and you get colour night vision. Not only that but the humanoid recognition feature means the camera doesn’t detect small animals such as dogs or foxes and only activates when a person is in view as can be seen by the video I’ve posted with this review.
All in all I think this is a fantastic camera. With a standard PIR security light costing around 20 this camera is a must-have, and all you do is plug it in and away you go.
Highly recommended.
This is a great camera no doubt about it. I’ve already got two CCTV at this no-brainer price and this one is another step up in terms of humanoid recognition, timer programming, video playback and all round 360 degree viewing and unlike the other 360 cameras I’ve got it can swivel to view directly underneath the camera which is really handy when setting up your primary surveillance area.
What I really love about this camera is the colour night vision options. You can still have it set to use the infra red mode to view in black and white but if you prefer you can have it activate enough regular light to give excellent HD night vision which is really helpful if you need to identify stuff. There’s also an ‘Intelligent’ night vision mode which is essentially a PIR light coming on when it detects movement.
Love it and cheap as chips.
Yeh I’d highly recommend this CCTV for sure.
The Camera was easy to install and set up and the picture quality is good. The angle of view can be controlled remotely as can the focus and zoom. I do not own a smart phone and will use via this via WiFi with a windows app so this review is entirely PC related. When using WiFi it is important to read the instructions first. The camera has to be hard wired to the network in order to set the WiFi up. The interface is relatively intuitive and it does not take long to set up. If you get stuck the email Topcony service help is usually quick and effective. They have the facility for remote management should it become necessary. In my experience the only thing that needs improvement is the tracking. It is slow. The camera has difficulty keeping up with a fast walker.
The camera is super easy to set up. Just need to power up and follow the instructions shown in the user manual or app on your phone.
It follows all the motion, so peace of mind for any intruder. Able to record and watch saved videos (in SD or HD video quality) whenever needed from my phone.
3 options for the night vision mode, I prefer to use intelligent mode which is colour when any motion is detected. It lightens my drive during the night when it detects any motion.
Eventually I am quite happy with the camera and its functions.
This is well made IPP66 rated Pan and Tilt Camera. It arrive quickly and was well packaged, the box contained all you needed to install it, and even included a small screwdriver. The camera has 3 cables connected, one power cable one reset cable and a cable with a socket for your cat5 connection. The instruction manual is well designed and the instructions are very clear with good pictures. I carried out the initial setup using the supplied Cat5 Ethernet cable and then connected the Camera to my Wi-Fi connection. The instruction manual takes you through the setup process step by step and you can use either the CamHi or CamHipro app making the setup process very quick and easy. Once installed, getting it up and running is a quick process. Having used it for a few days and tweaked a few setting I am really pleased with the picture quality during the night and day and I particularly like the bright light, loud alarm and ability to communicate functions. I have installed a 128gb micro sim card inside the camera for increased storage capacity, you are able to record time periods (I am recording 600 second chunks) and these are stored in 40mb file sizes, this is a really useful especially if you are looking for a missing cat. The camera will detect human motion and raise an alarm notification to your phone. The ability to swipe your screen to manually pan and tilt the camera is also very useful. Overall, I’m very pleased with camera’s features, functions and picture quality. I would recommend it to anyone interested in a controllable Pan and Tilt security camera.
I purchased this camera based on the 5 star rating of previous reviews. After a little hiccup configuring the camera it surpassed my expectations
The picture and videos are pretty sharp even after zooming in
The campro software is easy to understand and there are a few YouTube videos to help too on your way
The ptz is very responsive
I purchased a second camera and and putting them up later today
Overall great value for money and excellent product
Camera is quite robust and obviously time will tell regarding how well it stands up to the weather
Well pleased !!!!
Since I made my first review I have now installed both cameras and they have exceeded my expectations
The intelligent tracking is superb
The videos and still images are really good
If you want a ptz camera at a good price then this is definitely the one to buy
I would suggest also buying a small junction box to mount on the wall and conceal the cables
I also purchased 3 m extension power cables as my internal sockets are not close by
First off this security camera has a host of features thatwe weresurprisedat, given the price point – I don’t know how theydo it! Compared to other cameras we looked at, it’s half the price!
The camera is small in comparison to other models and very easy to set up and install. Instruction manual was good and the stepsclear andeasy to follow.Theimage quality is very good during the day, better than at night but i expectmost cameras are like this.Loving the zoom in and out and rotate features that I can do via the app on my phone. The ability to exclude regions so as to capture higher risk areas/angles is great – exactly what we need at our property. The wi-fi signal is good and pretty much always behaves itself. A few times it dropped but rarely drops.
Overall a very well built security camera and am happy with our purchase.
Simple to set up and link to the app & get it working straight away.Easy to connect to WiFi.
A really nice feature is you can do everything on your phone, set up camera, talk to the postman with 2 way audio(very useful when waiting for a parcel while at work.
The picture is pretty darn good for what I paid, no faults there.
Recordings are very clear & crisp even at night.
Another great future is auto tracking.
For the price they are much better quality than I expected & have all you need to monitor your home.
Would definitely recommend.
Very pleased with my purchase. Love the fact that you can zoom in and out and rotate the camera from your phone. Daytime pictures are very clear and night time vision is good too. Needed a bit of help with initial setup, used CamHipro App. Customers services were very helpful and quick to respond to my setup query via email.
I like the fact that you can set up various alert points to capture only the areas that are high risk. I will be adding to SD card for recording purposes.
This is definitely a good value for money and comes with all the installation kit and a long cable. Manual is easy to follow for installation. Camera is waterproof. Definitely be recommending it to family and friends.
I have bought 2 cameras before , one fixed and an upgrade to motion detection, but the motion detection camera would track waving tree branches ,cars, anything at all. Because my house is white at night the infra red detectors would wash out and the camera would point at the wall until the sun came up, in the end i had to turn the motion detection off.
This new Topcony camera is different, with its AI detection it no longer follows random miscellaneous movement meaning much fewer false alarms and the camera does not get stuck watching the wall all night. I had heard of the new AI chips and was sceptical, but it works. The camera also auto pans and tilts, my last camera only panned in auto mode. The night vison is great and with intelligent night vision the flood light is only on when you need it.
I use the Camhipro app in the Play store , Camhi works but there is no motion control. Even though i haven’t updated the app under “Alarm management and notification” in settings there is a new section called “AI alarm” so make sure thats on and turn the “Intelligent Tracking” page 3 under camera view.
1} install micro sd card 2} install app and press + in the top right corner 3} select Ip camera 4} next New device 5} power on and connect Ethernet cable { initial setup only} 6} select your network enter your network password 7} then you will be prompted to change your Camera password. 8}set SDcard recording 9} change time.
Once you have the camera setup you can share the camera by changing 4} above to Device in use and Search nearby devices then entering the new Camera password [if on a different network you will need the UID or the QR code]
So I’m delighted with the Topcony camera , i wouldn’t buy a motion camera without AI detection.
What a absolute brilliant & cheap 360 pan tilt and zoom wireless security camera..
I’m extremely happy with the clarity of the video quality & also the wide angle view.
Night vision includes a flood/spotlight which is ideal now the nights are drawing in, the 360 view covers all areas..
The night vision can also display full colour picture/video which is amazing quality.
The big benefit with this camera is the smart ai human motion detection, this will certainly save on false alerts from flys etc
I use this camera wirelessly and I haven’t had any problems at all.
All in all a brilliant pan tilt & zoom 360 degree motion aI detection camera.
This is a brilliant camera. Arrived well packaged with everything you need to install it, including a clear and comprehensive instruction manual with good pictures and an FAQ section. This takes you through the setup process step by step and when combined with the CamHi or CamHipro app it makes the setup process very quick and easy. I carried out the initial setup using the supplied ethernet cable and then added the wifi connection. Using this method it shouldn’t take longer than 5 – 10 mins to setup.
The camera itself looks very well built and is IP66 rated, which I need as the camera is positioned outside. The picture quality is excellent both at night and during the day and with colour at night, whether in SD or HD, and recordings can be saved to an SD card inside the camera.
I have other security cameras which are static, this camera is bigger but has the significant benefit of being able to Pan and Tilt through the app by swiping your finger across the image. It’s very responsive and a great feature. As I use the camera outside, the motion detection and auto tracking function are a clever and really useful feature, and you can set the app up to receive a push notification when movement is detected. Two way audio is also a handy feature.
I do plan to put a small box on the wall to contain all the cable and connectors for a cleaner install.
Overall, I’m very pleased with the camera quality and the functions it includes. The integration with the app works really well and incorporates many features that are useful for my use, so I would definitely recommend it to anyone interested in a controllable security camera.
Affordable 1080p PTZ camera that offers many features at a very competitive price.
The Unit is compact, compared with other similar priced models on the market
It is very quick to set-up
The auo-tracking minimised false alarms, & the colour night vision ensured every detail is captured in the event motion is detected. Although if you catch the camera at a blind spot (outside the detection or sensor range) then the camera does pause in that area and will fail to detect any further movement. I find with a simple reset, everything works fine again.
The quality of the images is very good, but you won’t get the clarity in image that you can expect from a 3 or 4K PTZ camera, especially in low light conditions
The functions are basic, but adjustable, for example alarm sound, motion sensitivity, etc. This is to be expected at this price point.
Wi-Fi seems to be decent, compared to other models I have. Again the connection has dropped on the odd occasion, but not frequently.
The sound quality in the two-way audio is average, but as I have no use for it I cannot comment on its effectiveness.
Overall if you are looking for a basic PTZ, then I would recommend this product, especially for those who are starting out with CCTV.
