I was not expecting this to be good. So when I paired this on my phone with the app I wasn’t expecting much. But when that music started playing…….Whoooooooo! I was immediately impressed. The clarity from a $50 speaker is great and the waterproof ability of it doesn’t deafen the sound at all. The lights from the speaker aren’t too distracting, but nice and pleasant enough to enjoy it. I actually dropped this in a bathtub full of water to see if it would stop working…..and it’s the real deal. Still going strong with this speaker!
Perfect for the shower. It’s loud, good sound quality, great battery life, definitely waterproof, fun lights.
There are somany amazing things about this product,
the design is unique making it look so special and can be used on both bathroom as well as common use.
the sound quality is amazing and the bluetooth connection is nice and lovely.
comsidering the sound quality, its absolutely brilliant and i am pleased with it.
the battery life is great and reliable which is remarkably brilliant.
This is great! It’s easy to use, the sound quality is good, and it makes the kids want to shower. They love the colored lights. I like it too.
I love this Tribit AquaEase Bluetooth Shower Speaker! It’s so nice for its size. It has great sound! It’s portable and I take it everywhere with me. I use it a lot. I really like that it’s waterproof. I like to hang it in the bathroom and use it while I’m showering and doing my makeup and beauty routine in the mornings.
This speaker has color changing lights that I like to use in the evenings and also at night. It has a built-in microphone and an app that you can download to your device so you can control it. It also has great battery life and it lasts for hours. I don’t even have to charge it every day. It’s a great bluetooth speaker!
This portable Bluetooth speaker makes a great companion to take your music with you anywhere. The controls are intuitive and easy to follow. My favorite feature of this speaker is the changing LED lights that change to the beats of the music. A small screen also displays the time, another a great feature. It’s IPX7 waterproof rating and string lanyard makes it easy to use in the shower. The sound quality overall is great and handles both high and low level instruments with ease, though, the bass isn’t the best.
Battery life seems to be okay. It is waterproof. The on/off button is in a good spot to find without looking for it. The size is nice. Sounds pretty good for a small speaker not the best for the $. The speaker phone is really great and people on the other side of the line say it sounds on par with in car hands free. The app is nice. It’s supposed to connect to another in stereo but I don’t think I’ll buy another of these.
I love listening to music and I have been looking around for a while for a good quality, durable waterproof speaker. I instantly loved the way this one looked, at the time of purchase it was a reasonable 39.99. It came well packed; it is a very nice size.
I have been playing this in the shower in the mornings before work, it was really easy to set up with my phone. Very simple, it has a great look to it. It has a coloured band around the edge which can be in sync with your music, or you can just leave it and it will play itself. The buttons are really reactive it turns on really quick, I haven’t even had to charge mine as of yet and I have used it almost every single morning.
The sound quality is amazing, it has amazing bass and sounds so good. You can turn it up really high or really low so it has a good wide volume variety. It has a string which is ideal for hanging on your shower and things like that. This is portable and waterproof this can be used anywhere, out doors, at parties , camping and you don’t have to worry about it getting wet. It is small enough to just pack away and you not even notice it was there. If you want a good durable, waterproof speaker with crystal clear sounds then this is the one for you. I hope I am able to use this for many years.
I’m impressed with the quality of sound from the speaker. The level of depth is really nice.
Has a good battery life and the only thing I don’t get is the timer on the front. Can’t figure out how to set it or what it’s purpose is.
Love this little speaker! It connects easily to my device. The sound quality is fantastic with no zero static ever present. Can handle splashes of water that can occur in the bathroom without damage. The battery life is stellar! I’ve used it about for about 2 hours each time, total of 4 times & still have 80% battery left. I haven’t tried the lights out on this device, but I’m sure they will have the exact same great quality!
The sound on the speaker is pretty good. For the size, It’s actually pretty good. Reason why I grabbed this was because of the RGB lights. This makes a great gift for anyone that wants a Bluetooth speakers with the RGB.
It’s funny that they call this a shower speakers. I really don’t use my speakers in the shower. But I guess this can be great in the shower as well. Even has a little clock in the front which is nice to keep your bath time down.
I got this because I hadn’t had a waterproof speaker in awhile since my JBL speaker died. So, when I saw this, I figured it was worth a shot to try it since something this inexpensive would probably just be middling at best. Well, boy oh boy, was I wrong about that. This is far and away BETTER than my JBL ever was, and then some. The speaker was simple to pair with my phone and on first test, was EXTREMELY loud at max volume. Loud enough that i had it set on my desk and the loudness (and the insane bass) had the speaker jumping on the desk and moving around. I never had my JBL do that at max volume. The button set up is a bit odd unless you are just pairing to a phone or whatnot. I do love the option for a sd card if I want to use it. The lights dancing to music is pretty good and the clock is nice since it seems to sync with the phone/device thats pairing to it. Definitely recommend this to someone wanting a speaker in a damp place like a bathroom while showering.
Very good speaker. Comes on not to loud tells you the battery percentage nice clock on it. Fits nice in my coat pocket. Very happy with it.
As a general Bluetooth speaker, the ‘Tribit AquaEase’ is actually pretty good, but as a shower speaker, it’s absolutely great, not only is the sound “crystal clear” (as stated in the product description), but the addition of the soft pastel colours from the lights creates a lovely ambience to your surroundings. With the IPX7 rating, the speaker is also suitable for a variety of wet environments, so it’s not just restricted to your shower, but perfectly functional during hikes on wet days, paddling at the beach, fishing, camping, or pretty much any other activity you can think of. Bluetooth pairing is virtually instantaneous, and surprisingly, with the speaker hanging off a rucksack, the connection appeared to be more stable than a pair of Sony Bluetooth earbuds when out and about.
I connected this to my computer instead of my phone and the connection seems to hold up well in my bathroom and in my living room. The sound is very good on this speaker and the lights are also a nice touch. I am very happy with this speaker.
The Tribit AquaEase Bluetooth Shower Speaker is very compact and well sealed. With an ipx 7 rating it is truly waterproof. Tribit knows blue tooth sound, and everything works as it should. It connects easily and does not drop signal. The sound is (vastly) better than most blue tooth shower speakers. It is not, however, anywhere near as good as other Tribit speakers I have. I am a fan of the brand. They have impressed at just about every level. The first one or two I found the sound to be surprisingly good. Now I more or less expect great sound from Tribit.
This speaker, like their mini, is louder than you would expect from such a small speaker, but it is not the same quality. If you do not need to have the speaker in the shower with you, I would recommend the stormbox mini or one of the xsound speakers over this as tey have much better sound. This one does not sound great outdoors, or even indoors…. *except* that it actually does sound better in the shower than out! It is the first time I have ever taken a speaker into the shower, but I felt like I really needed to if I were testing it as a shower speaker. It had no problems with running water, and, in fact, sounded so much better in the shower that I was wondering if Tribit’s engineered were in a shower with the speaker tweaking the sound. Shower stalls do have unique acoustics. {Practically anyone who knows my husband has heard the history of Motown recording techniques, much of which was, apparently, done in a shower.) That said, do not judge the acoustics of htis speaker until you are listening to it in a shower. Outside it sounds tinny (anh artifact of the metal grate) and somewhat muddy. It does not, however, sound shallow, or fuzzy, like an am radio, as most shower speakers do.
All that said, I would recommend this for use inside a shower stall, but outside the actual stall I would recommend the stormbox mini, which also has a good ipx rating (so it will not be affected by the humidity in your bathroom) and it can also be enjoyed outside the shower. This one is easy; it is also cute.. looking quite a bit like a flying saucer. The build quality is excellent, much better than most shower speakers…. and the sound is good for the category, but not even close to what Tribit can do.
I got this speaker for my teenager to use while in the shower and so far it has been great for her. It connects to her iPad with ease and plays the music clearly at a level that she can hear over the shower. So far the battery has lasted for 4 long showers and doesn’t yet appear to need to be charged
This feels solid and well made. It looks great. Comes with a USB C lead to charge and very easy to follow instructions. Easily bluetooths to my phone. The sound is amazing. Honestly its top notch, not tinny like many others. Would I pay 40 for a shower speaker. not if I had not heard it play. Because I have one and know what the sound… sounds like. Yes I would.
This little radio is perfect for the shower. The sound is good and connecting it to my phone was easy.
I love this little speaker! It’s so easy to set up and has a good sound quality. When turning it on the voice that talks to you is a bit weird but I don’t really care about that. It shows the time on it which is super helpful when you have kiddos
This thing far surpasses my expectations. I’ve bought too many shower speakers that were awful and short-lived, but this one is excellent! Right away you notice its weight – much heavier than others. The sound quality is very impressive, with full rich bass and clear mid and high ranges. The light show is a cool added touch. Used it in the shower with no problems whatsoever, and it gets a lot louder than all the lesser shower speakers of my past. We even tested it in a normal room environment and the sound was awesome there as well. I’ll use this great little speaker around the house, in the garden, etc. We are super stoked with this speaker and believe you will be, too.
I needed a bathroom speaker, I love hearing my podcast shows while I shower and this was just perfect. The sound quality is great even with my loud shower on. The sounds are clear and loud. Its very compact and does not take up too much space. Its waterproof so I do not have to worry about it getting wet. It also has cool lights that can be turned off or kept on. I really like this little speaker.
This little speaker is perfect if you like to listen to music or podcast’s etc in the shower or bath.
It comes well packaged (but not over packaged) and comes with a charging usb cord. It does not come with a plug block, which for me is fine since we have several.
My daughter was able to easily connect it to her iPhone and use it. She loves that it can be used in the shower because her other speaker has to stay outside which makes it harder to hear.
So far the sound quality has been good and it’s too soon to say on battery life. We are very happy with the product so far!
I’m not audiophile so I won’t lie and say that that this thing produces amazing sound. It sounds amazing to me, however. I just wanted to have a speaker that I can listen to in the shower/bath that doesn’t run out of juice every other day which seems to be a problem I have had with several previous shower speakers. This one, sounds great, I can say for sure better than its predecessors. You can really crank the sound up pretty high although maybe not the best idea when you are in a smaller enclosed room. The settings seem fairly easy to navigate. I paired it with no difficulty and had the time set and then I was up and running in very short order. The fact that there is a clock on this thing as well as the groovy lights is such a bonus. I mean, I’m just a girl who likes pretty lights and they are so pretty, they’re like unicorn lights. Now I have it hanging from my shower caddy so I can jam out and sing to my hearts content with all my favorite tunes
I have purchased 4 different speakers from Tribit, all of them have been excellent Bluetooth speakers at value pricing. Therefore, I chose this product to review, though I probably would not normally be in the market for a speaker with RGB lighting.
Not surprised to find that this speaker sounds great, much better than you might expect from its appearance. Regarding appearance, the photos don’t really do it justice because they are all with the lights on. When not in use or lights off in use, no matter where I set it down it looks pretty much like a miniature flying saucer that looks like a decoration of sorts for a desk or coffee table. When powered on it gives the time of day and when paired with your phone automatically synchronizes the time. You can set it manually as well. When using the Tribit App you can change from 12 to 24-time format.
The App is must because it will also allow you to set the equalizer to one of the presets described by use case scenario. You can also set a personal EQ setting; you could create several and name them if you wanted. This in my opinion is a key option for smaller speakers as well as large ones enabling the user to get more of what you want and less of what you don’t to maximize the performance of the speaker to achieve your best result. For a little think it can thump a bit, I noticed that while on the nightstand at a medium volume it was stepping a little with the bass. Great speaker to carry around with you throughout the house which I was able to do without bringing my phone along, connection stayed strong no matter where I went including the garage. Since I have only paired it to my phone it automatically connects every time.
Quality is solid, this little speaker is built like a tank, the RGB screen you would think would be vulnerable but tapping on reveals unyielding resistance that is substantial. Looks really cool just sitting around and like having the time visible which I had not thought would matter but appreciate. Something else some may appreciate is you can insert a micro sd card with music and play with no Bluetooth connection especially useful if you like to use with sleep sounds, mediation (with lights for a trance), or white noise at home or while traveling.
For the shower, garage, dining room table or nightstand this is great little personal speaker that will play music you can tune to sound the way you want. Listen to audio books, podcasts, the speaker is small & light enough you won’t feel like you are dragging something around with you, would fit in most jean pockets.
RGB is nice but don’t see me using it that much, gets very bright and with great color intensity. Would appreciate this more if I could choose a single color and it were dimmable.
Sound is emitted through the top grill and 2 smaller grills underneath which are probably intended for base reflex. Buttons are solid and line around the top grill, power, Bluetooth, play, volume up, volume down and lights (on or off). Many of the buttons also preform secondary functions such as setting time or taking calls, it does have a mic which you can see just below the clock area (or is that the saucer cockpit window?). Recharges using USB C which is great and widely available, and App will show battery percentage but does not refresh, you will have to close and reopen the App after charging period to see status. Also note that has sometimes reverted to 24-hour time but can quickly change it back with the App both things I would imagine will be corrected with firmware updates. Battery life has been good but haven’t tested to the limits yet.
Highly recommend as a personal speaker for adults or kids, get the app to maximize your benefits.
I am not disappointed at all. You can feel the quality, then you hear it. It’s an awesome lil speaker. WATERPROOF too?! It’s super easy to set up and connect. Love that you can program the lights to be on or off. Charge time exceeds my current speaker!
Definite Recommendation, Great Product!
This shower speaker sounds great and is really good quality, I’m impressed, it connects to my phone no problem, charges quick and holds a charge and I love the lights, it’s hanging up in my shower now!
I am in love with this little convenient speaker. Thus far-I have mostly used this to listen to audiobooks-and the speech sounds are loud and clear. While I haven’t listened extensively to music- I have listened to several on-line music videos and experienced no distortions. The battery life is very long and connectivity/paring; flawless. I haven’t much used the lights- cute, but not necessary for my immediate needs, but younger listeners may enjoy this feature. I sometimes like to have a speaker near the shower, since this is waterproof- another plus-just not experiences this feature as yet. I am very impressed, and very happy with this sturdy little speaker!
The AquaEase Shower Speaker by Tribit, is a really great little shower or pool speaker. By offering great construction, dependable Bluetooth, a convenient size, and some pretty decent sound, all makes this a wonderful speaker for your consideration. Here are some of the things I’ve learned while owning it and things to consider before buying.
I. Sound Quality — Lets keep in mind that the actual speaker is about a 2 inches. That being said, its actually quite good for the size, providing ample sound for some shower singing. It would be minimally sufficient by the pool, but would still work for many people. The quality is good within its volume range, but obviously lacks much bass at this size.
II. Quality — The construction of this and materials used are very nice in this price range. I was pleasantly surprised and you should be too.
III. Usability — Its fairly easy to set-up. The Bluetooth hasn’t dropped yet and the battery lasts longer than any single use for me.
Overall, this is a great little speaker that has left me happy with the choice and gets me to use it frequently. This is really for the compact size and waterproof abilities, so I can use it in the shower. It functions sufficiently because it offers that benefit. If I don’t need it to be waterproof, I’ll usually choose a different speaker. So far everything has works as they intended, but if I ever start to have problems with it, I’ll be sure to update this review.
If you’d find it helpful to see a visual inspection of this product, I recommend you watch my included video in full screen. They say a picture is worth a 1000 words, well it’s a video!
You can trust that this review is simply my honest opinion that is attempting to provide you with helpful insight that I wish I had before I picked this product. Hopefully it was helpful in your decision.
Loved the sound quality, how easily it connected to my iPad and I’m happy with the ring of colors this is exactly what I needed in my shower.
Is it wrong to take a liking to a product because you think it looks cheerful? I guess I’m wrong then 🙂 This is a standard enough bluetooth speaker, advertised as shower proof and designed to be used in the bathroom. It’s easy to set up, and let’s you know how it’s doing with a selection of pastel lights around its circular case. The sound is fine for spoken words (I like to have Radio 4 on in the morning) and about what you would expect from a mono speaker for music. If you need a speaker for the bathroom, I’d go with this one.
his is a bluetooth speaker, it’s designed for bathroom and outdoor use, with the ipx7 waterproof spec, it’s splash proof, rain proof even it could submerged in shallow water for 30 minutes without problem, so i can enjoy music everywhere without worry of water damage to the speaker
it’s compact in size, round disc design, the built in loop that could be hang to hook or backpack, there are also 4 non-slip pads underneath, so it’s also good to be placed on any surface
there are basic navigation buttons for power on/off, bluetooth connection, play, volume and light button, there is also a small clock display in the front
connected it to mobile phone very quickly, detected and paired right away, and it’s as simple as all other bluetooth speakers, intuitive to use
despite of its small size, the sound output is really loud! sound is clear, and got decent bass too! and the led light flash follow and match with the rhythm, build a really good atmosphere when playing different type of music
there is also a tribit app for controlling basic music navigation, equalizer and lighting to the speaker
all in all, i’m happy with this product, would recommend
hope you find these information helpful
I got this to replace quite an old shower speaker, which was not holding its battery. This one is a great improvement. The sound is so much better, and I can hear it over the shower with no problem. Call me childish, but I really like the lights changing colour while listening to music! It’s ridiculously satisfying and happy-making. It’s the small things that make the difference! Also you can see the time really well on this. The only thing I may have liked is a second option for installation like a sucker rather than just a string. Our shower head is built into the wall and way too high to hang anything off. I think you’d probably hear this through the shower door if you used a peg in your bathroom though as it really has some volume.
I was surprised by how good the sound was from the unit considering the environment it’s designed to work in.
It was very easy to pair to my iPhone and it worked exactly as it should with track skipping pause etc.
It also has a handy loop for hanging on taps pipe etc.
Great for entertainment the kids or yourself at bath or shower time.
Recommend
This Bluetooth speaker is small but clear and loud, you can hear it perfectly while in the shower. I got tired of carrying my large Bluetooth speaker back and forth to the bathroom when I shower or shave and my phone speaker wasn’t loud enough to hear over the sounds of the water. This speaker fills the whole bathroom with sound I love it.
The speaker came nicely presented in a lovely designed box. It’s very high quality made and durable. Very beautifully made it’s IPX7 waterproof.
The quality is superb crisp and clear with deep rich bass. Makes you wonna get up and dance absolutely love this speaker especially with the beautiful led lights
Can choose to have the led light on or off .
The time automatically sets when you connect via Bluetooth (EXCELLENT )
The led goes blue when no device is connected . Tribit has an you can download both available on android and App Store.
The speaker is definitely value for money and i highly recommend. Would make a awesome gift too
Wow this thing gets LOUD! For the size you’d never expect it. Amazing sound quality. I’m really impressed? Never expected that at all, just thought a speaker in the shower would be fun but even outside the shower, this sounds better than my TV speakers. I am perplexed! Also, it is very much waterproof. My son really liked the cool rainbow light on it and took it in the bath with him. Obviously the sound gets muffled under the water but once it comes out of the water, sounds just as great as it did. Easily connected to Bluetooth from my phone and I have yet to play with the other features. Think I will get a few of these to give as gifts. Really cool.
Lovely little speaker. It has great sound and we really enjoy the lights for a nice ambiance. I like that there is a clock on it as well so you can see the time! Really love the little loop, it makes it super easy to take with you on a hike, to the kitchen or when taking a shower/bath. The app is also really easy to navigate. For the price point, this speaker is DEFINITELY worth it.
I would rate this a 4.5 stars if at all possible, but I will give the speaker the benefit of the doubt and round up to 5 stars. My biggest issue is the built in nylon loop to hang the speaker by is permanently fixed to the speaker and it’s on the sort side. This won’t go over most shower heads where I think the speaker would best be suited to perform. An anchor point on the speaker with an included nylon cord that could be tied to the needed size would have been a better option.
Sound quality is decent for what is basically a shower speaker. Fairly balanced and a bit on the warmer side. Won’t get really loud, but for use in a shower, where it will be within a couple of feet of you, it is loud enough. Lights go in a random order and there are no controls over that. Lights are on or off. The speaker can be paired Bluetooth to 2 devices at once. No 3.5mm jack on this speaker, but for a shower speaker that seems understandable. This speaker is also supported by the Tribit app, which features the ability to create your own custom EQ. That’s a big plus.
So everything factored in, from the IPX7 water rating, TWS option with a second speaker, BT5.3 for flawless and solid connection to the pretty impressive battery life, this speaker is a great option for a shower or bathroom. Not something to take outside due to not being loud enough, however.
What a great sounding little device. I was not expecting much, but when I played some music is really put some punchy sound.
Build:
It really feels solid, and everything feels like it fits where it should with no rattles or jiggles.
Underneath are for little rubber pads, that work well at holding the device in place.
Setup: It is as easy as pressing the bluetooth button for 1 second, find the device and connect.
If you have 2 of these you can connect both by holding the bluetooth down for 1 second on one ( and connect ) and 5 seconds on the other ( and connect ).
Sound:
– As I said, really nice for such a device.
– Everything comes across pretty clearly, the is no reverb or rattling ,
– It can be loud, but not overly loud, just loud enough that someone will say “thats loud ”
The lighting is easy to control, press the light button and its on, and pulses with the music. You cannot change the pattern, so it is really just on or off.
I was not expecting to much, and I got more than expected and in a good way !
This is actually very nice Bluetooth speakers for shower or pretty much for any where. Size of this speaker is so good and compatible I have sued it in shower in garden also during my workout. O had to say sound is really good far better than what I expected or compare to my old one. This speaker is water-resistant with an impressive sound stage. The small woven attachment loop easy to hang in. Super easy to detect and connect it via any device.
It’s battery life is good too.
There is also clock in it. I have not set the time yet over all i think this is. Great speaker with versatile usage.
I am not sure putting this in the shower was a good idea as now I can listen in pretty good quality to my favourite music (on my phone or microsd card in the unit) my showers could be longer…
It works well and the bluetooth pairing with my Android 13 phone even set the clock on it!
Where I have it you can’t really see the time (it points down) and that seems to be an unnecessary feature.
The light mode can be set to on or off and that setting is saved.
A brief press of the power button to turn off and then I have to tap play to start playback. A brief press of power again to turn off.
It says it can do phone calls as well with it.
I like it and it has a new home in my shower and as it can be paired with more than one phone more than one person can have their favourite music.
I like a good speaker and this Tribit is exactly that. Whether you use it in the shower, bathroom or around the house it will reward with excellent sound and easy to live with functionality. It is attractive, very well made and comes with an IPX7 waterproofing rating. The latter is a good rating and should be proof against most showers. Although one does need to be more cautious with ‘hotter’ water. Nonetheless it should be fine. As well as the sound there is a useful digital clock display and some fancy flashing lights. The latter may be turned off via the lights control button. There is an integral string hanging loop.
Sound wise it is hard to fault considering its size. Two units may be linked to give wireless stereo sound. The balance is good and there is enough bass to satisfy most listeners. The drums on Focus Live at the Rainbow have good timing and are rendered accurately. It is easy to forget just how neat and small this speaker is. There is a spaciousness about the sound and it has an out of box quality. It can easily fill small to medium sized rooms and is well suited to the acoustics of your average bathroom. I am currently listening in my 8ft x 10ft study, while writing this review. My favorite Pink Martini play list was a pleasing listen while other rock tracks with deeper bass showed that this speaker can go low. There are no nasties and it works with a wide range of music genres. There is smoothness and attack when necessary. It does not pull any punches but still manages to make the music and easy, fun listen.
This speaker is great value at its current price. It is rechargeable via a USB to USB C lead. The latter is on the shorter side and that would be my one and only gripe. That said, I am scratching around for any negatives and the lead is simple to remedy. Reassuringly weighty and with a built in subwoofer. What more do you need. I would highly recommend this speaker. At home around the house, garden, by the pool or at a party/picnic. It deserves serious consideration. Not just a Bluetooth shower speaker but an all-round great sounding waterproof speaker. If you like it just buy one or perhaps even a pair.
Many of us these days have masses of music stored on our phones and tablets, and that’s great for use with headphones, but so good if you want to listen whilst sitting in the garden, or on a picnic or just relaxing at home. That’s where Bluetooth speakers are really ideal.
There are lots of different Bluetooth speakers around which vary in their performance, and general usability, and it can be difficult to make a choice of what to buy. Many are fine for general use, and where you don’t worry too much about the sound quality. However, particularly if you are at home relaxing, you really want the sound to be more immersive, and of course stereo.
The Blue tooth Speaker has with an excellent 18 hours play – time once charged. So for good quality stereo sound, this Bluetooth speaker fits the bill perfectly. To be honest, although the product information states that having the output (as noted above), it does appear to be higher than that. It is quite loud, and distortion – free as well.
Happy little speaker absolutely perfect for my boys at bath time, sounds pretty decent goes very loud but then the sound will distort but it’s a shower speaker so not looking for sound perfection just something safe for the bathroom so that’s spot on for the job. Paired up no problem so that’s always a relief and off we go for some bathtime tunes.
For a litte speaker, it packs a punch. The sound quality for what it is, is quite good. Bass is there and the sound is well balanced. The light can be turned off on the speaker or the app that can be downloaded. The app isn’t needed to use the speaker, but if downloaded, you can turn the light on and off or change the sound and volume and a few other things. I’d recommend this little speaker for having a dance in the shower with. Just don’t slip on the soap.
This is the third Tribit speaker I have tried. All of them have impressed me and continue to do so.
This is a compact but solidly built speaker. The most important aspect from my point of view is the sound. The is a limit to what you can get out of something this compact – but it seems to me that Tribit have done a good job. It will go quite loud without distortion. It doesn’t have much bass, which limits its appeal for me in listening to music – but for podcasts it works really well. I did tweak the bass response via the Tribit app – and it now sounds as though it is a much larger speaker.
I like that it has a clock – which sets automatically from your phone via bluetooth. There is an option to add a micro sd card – but I haven’t tried that. Still figuring the lights out, so far as I can tell it only has the option to show multi – colours – which does seem to be in time to music.
There is a voucher currently that brings this to just over 30 quid. I think it is well worth that.
