Bought this product to support the flock through their moult with a protein boost. The dried Calci worms are big and fat and the hens and rooster are loving them, carefully searching for every last one.
Initially wrong order delivered (but on 3 Sept) – however seller quickly sorted out problem (once we sent photo of what we received) and order then delivered very promptly. Being able to correspond via Amazon messages was really useful and quick. Hedgehogs now tucking into their new tub of food (with other hedgehog pellets) and one has even moved into the recently purchased hedgehog house! So all is happy in our garden.
Excellent quality, good value, and great comms from the seller, who initially sent out a bag, rather than a bucket. An empty bucket arrived post haste once I asked for it. With regards to the product, the only downside is that I have to fill my feeders more often than before, as they are so popular with the birds here. Sparrows, blackbirds, robins, great tits and blue tits are all over this food!
We have been feeding the garden birds mealworms for a while now and this tub is the largest we have bought; am expecting it last about a month with daily feeding.
These calci worms are slightly bigger/fatter that the previous tubs of mealworm, but the birds do not seem bothered.
We have starlings, sparrows, robins, long-tail tit, magpies and crows visit our garden daily so certainly delivers on the personal objective to have more wildlife in the garden.
Came in small plastic tub (which was ok as I can reuse) but a non plastic refill pack would be great.
