My suspicion is, that if you’re looking at this item, you’re shopping on a budget and looking for something that’s better than your TV speakers!
And this soundbar is both of those.
One week in and I’m quietly content with the purchase.
One of the first things I did was play a few “speaker tests” via YT and other sources, and check how much range the bar has. It’s decent!
Then I tested the various “modes” while watching the same movie/scenes to figure out what works best for me.
The bass is pretty solid, so I’ve propped the bar on a couple of dampeners just to avoid excessive vibrations (I’m a good tenant and neighbour!).
Also hooked it up via aux to my echo dot and enjoyed some music without losing any quality via compression, whatever that means!
Tips… For listening to music, be directly in front of the bar. That’s what it’s designed to do.
Movies? Check your TV sound settings (if applicable). My Sharp TV is set to “standard” by default, but I have faffed around to maximize enjoyment via the soundbar.
HDMI arc cable needs to be a certain quality.
Be realistic… It’s not a surround system. But it is a complete package that’s competing above its price point. If you get the right mode, and you’re set up properly, it’s a massive upgrade from TV speakers.
Only negative that’s coming to mind is that the photos suggest there’s a way of increasing/reducing the volume of the bass alone, but if there is, I’ve yet to identify it.
I was initially unsure about this purchase but after trying a couple of models and with support from the vendor I am very pleased with the quality of the soundbar. It is much better than the LG TV standard speakers. I like that apart from the preset sounds like Movie, Voice etc. there are also separate base plus and minus buttons so that I am able to fine tune the base to suite what I am watching
The sound bar does just what its ment to was easy to set up even without using instructions, i started using it with just bluetooth but have since bought an H.D.M.I lead, would recomend for anyone looking for a sound bar thats not too expensive, one thing i feel i should mention is the sound bar i recieved was a different brand to what i ordered but looks Identical
wonderful piece of kit, easy to set up and link to my echo dot only thing that let it down is no batteries supplied for the remote but over all very happy with i
I ordered this based on the reviews and certainly wasn’t disappointed the only reason I haven’t given it 5 stars is because it’s a real pain trying to switch it on you have to spend ages pressing the button I think the remote is the only downside to it other than that I’m very pleased
Powerful soundbar, 5 sound modes (music, movie, bass +, news and games), plus a 3d effect which is effective. There’s an LED off button which doesn’t work. I’d give it 5 stars if it weren’t for an annoying and loud double-clunk sound the bar makes every time you switch on a dvd, and every time the dvd goes to a new page of its’ menu. When a film is playing there’s no clunking, however when you navigate between scenes, a loud clunk happens every time. It is exasperating as I mainly watch dvds for televisual entertainment, being that I can’t enjoy films or series with intrusive adverts on TV. Anyway, bottom line, great sound but annoying if you’re watching dvds.
*** Since writing this review, the company have contacted me and sent a replacement. As I’m away I haven’t had a chance to test it but I’m hoping the replacement doesn’t clunk. I’ll update this review as soon as I get a chance to test it. For now I’ve added a star as the company responded immediately. ***
Honestly at the begin I was a bit sceptic, I had already bought a “cheap” soundbar and the experience was not so positive as I had to return it but this Ultimea was a nice surprise.Sound powerful and the bass are quite punchy and don’t forget the price, for just 64 you have a decent sound bar packed with 6 speakers.
Good quality – exactly as described and easy to use – great sound
The first soundbar I’ve purchased. Usually connect my TV through a stereo , so was hoping it was gonna sound as good as that. Got to say I’m well impressed. Was apprehensive about buying one with subwoofers built-in as normally only get decent bass with a separate bass box but this bar has really good bass. I’ve not tested against any other soundbar but for under 80 , I would definitely recommend.
The installation is simple, sound quality is loud and clear. 3D sound is satisfactory.
Wow, I don’t usually review but this Soundbar is surprisingly very good, treble, mid and bass are full but not overpowering with plenty of EQ adjustment. Simple to set up and really good sound for the price. Very pleased.
This product has good sound clarity….bass good for a sound bar. All together seems to be well built and made from tough materials.
When buying a cheaper, non name brand audio product you never really know what to expect. Although I was pleasantly surprised that this sounded about as you would expect for the money.
The surround sound features is not exactly Dolby Atmos although, did well enough for TV shows and Films.
I’d say it is a very good upgrade for some cheaper TV’s which usually come with very much sub-par speakers and this does add a solid amount of bass, of course it isn’t going to shake the room like a standalone subwoofer would, but much better than a lot of TV’s
Not the greatest for listening to music as it does tend to sound a little muddy and confused, but for casual media consumption you are unlikely to notice a difference between this and soundbars even 2x the price.
Enriched sound for slim tv good item just note no remote batteries are included
Reading the reviews which were mostly Amazon Vine reviews which always hedge their bets not wanting to say negative things when it was free.
I paid for this item and was expecting to return it like i have other cheaper units.
Having just set it up, next to my amazing Sony 5.1 system I’m impressed and will be keeping it.
The treble is a bit too much but a few tweaks of the EQ and I have to say that the sound is excellent.
I haven’t bothered comparing it to the Sony because the sound is great as it is, there’s plenty of volume and bass with the EQ settings. It could be classed as 2.1 even though there is no subwoofer. I have the sony subwoofer set 2/3 bass so I’m the first to complain about lack of bass and hence I returned others.
It really is a good soundbar in my opinion, especially for the price, grab the discount while you can.
I bought it for my campervan, it’s DC input is 19v 2.5A so I’ll pick up a buck/boost convert to run off 12v leisure batteries.
My only criticism so far is that you have to turn it on from red led standby to connect Bluetooth, at least when you disconnect it will reconnect and has a remote so not really a problem.
This soundbar was easy to connect to my TV and it is easy to switch between a wired and Bluetooth connection so it can also be used for other devices any time.
It comes with a remote control which is easy to use, aux cables and optical cables, but no HDMI or USB. It also includes mounting screws and wall plugs for mounting to a wall if you’d like.
Overall, the sound quality is pretty good, it carries well, though don’t expect a great bass from this soundbar: the treble is a lot more crisp than the deeper bass, I don’t think it is very well balanced, but this is a common issue with any soundbar this price. Ideally, you’d need a separate sub woofer to get the fullest sound, however it doesn’t look like this soundbar would sync with another speaker.
Overall, it isn’t bad for the price range but I think I’d personally consider spending a bit more for a set with a subwoofer.
his is a tv soundbar with 5 input sources (aux, optical, bluetooth, hdmi and usb), it’s quite long (93cm) as it has 4 x 25w midrange/bass drivers and 2 x 10w treble drivers, on both sides there are bass reflex tubes as well
the soundbar is well made with a metal grille, no fabric, perfect for cat owners, it could be placed on tv unit, or wall mounted (mounting kit included)
it also came with remote controller, all functions could be accessed with the remote (input, volume, eq mode)
i used it for my tv and mobile devices as bluetooth speaker, i didn’t expect much at this price tag, but surprisingly it got nice treble and midrange, crisp sound in louder volume; by the way, it got some bass too, however experienced a bit blurry when the source bass was strong
there are different modes to enhance the immersive feeling, on the remote there are basic music navigation when play with bluetooth or usb
all in all, i’m satisfied with this product, would recommend
hope you find these information helpful
First up, at this price this was never going to deliver the same quality as the well known brands would.
It is not top of the range. It is basic and doesn’t contain remote batteries or the cables you need ( don’t panic – the latter are HDMI and/ optical cables which are inexpensive and easy to come by)
However this can still significantly improve your TV immersion. I have a high end one in my living room and this in my bedroom.
We used an optical cable and a 4k TV and had this up and running in under 10 minutes. Most TVs these days have HDMI and optical cables but yours is older than 8 years you may want to check or better still, get a new TV!
The sound quality was definately an improvement on the inbuilt TV speakers ( and the TV was a big brand Sony) and the stereo seperation particularly when watching movies was very good as was the overall added depth to the sound.
So if you are on a budget bur do want to improve your viewing and listening experience, this isn’t bad and is certainly worth the asking price on Amazon.
Nice looking soundbar with all the usual options for connecting to your tv.
Fitted sleekly under my tv, which is on its supplied stand, without getting in the way of the screen.
Definitely better sound than the tv speakers but not as much base and definition as more premium products, good for the price though.
Comes with screws for wall mounting but oddly no batteries for the remote control, oh well.
Good value considering the current 25 off voucher.
Hope you found my review helpful
I asked my son to try this out as he was constantly mentioning his TV speakers were inadequate
To say he was pleased is an understatement.
He said this sound bar was very easy to install and looks neat.
With adjustable sound he has all the bass he craved and absolutely loves it.
He also has it connected to Alexa for full control.
Definitely a good buy and great value

This soundbar arrived well packed in a huge box. It’s straightforward to set up and you can connect it to the TV using a few input options on how you can connect it to the TV – HDMI ARC, 3.5mm audio, USB or wirelessly using Bluetooth connection. It also comes with a remote that’s easy to use.
My husband is always looking for ways to spruce up the cinematic experience in our living room and I think this is a good addition to that.
He set it up to sit on the table that holds the TV and it looks great. The sound is crisp and clear in anything that is being played on it. Games, movies, Bluetooth connection from a phone, everything sounds good and precise.
My husband and I are quite happy with this product, we have no complaints. It’s available on Amazon for 76 (with an additional 25 discount at the time of writing), which seems like a good price to pay for this soundbar.
There a lot of sound bars on the marketplace in the box you get the basics, however no optical or hdmi lead
Has a basic display, that does not stay in which is a nice touch, remote is basic a couple effects however not battery supplied. Scrolling through all the inputs, all work fine easy to use. Only thing I noticed using hdmi arc is the volume display on mt tv does not relate to bars. It could be my model as it’s a few years old.
Sound wise I for where it’s been marketed for my ears it was more than adequate to replace those tinny tv speakers and general music use, enough base. If you have a more established ear it’s not the bar for you, however for another room or just a daily driver its in the place it’s targeted for with all the connections you need.
In summary it a good basic bar, sounds good for what you need it for, with all the standard connections, let down with not including all the leads, or batts for the remote. Nice addition it has hdmi arc as well.
For a budget soundbar this isn’t that bad. Obviously a Sony or similar one is a fair bit better but this is a step up from a normal run of the mill television. This connected easily and is easy to use and to adjust. It is quite large and has a bit of a cheap plastic feel to it but despite this it seems reasonably well made.
This soundbar is perfect for my living room.It came very well packaged and installation was very simple. There are several options to connect the soundbar:with hdmi, aux, usb, optical and bluetooth. The sound is very clear and without blackground noises.I connected the soundbar to the TV because I wanted to listen every movie,TV show, music with a better and pleasant effect. But anyway for anyone who wants to use it only with bluetooth or USB,it is possible. It depends on everyone’s choice. The bluetooth connection can be made up to 30ft.The max volume goes up to 31 and it is a very high volume and with the same quality. The soundbar is also accompanied by a remote control which helps to connect it to the TV,changing settings and everything from the comfort of the sofa.I really like this soundbar and I would definitely recommend it because it has a very good quality and price.
Good powerful soundbar that has a choice of inputs – HDMI ARC, 3.5mm audio, USB and optical ports are available and it also supports bluetooth wireless audio. It has multiple equaliser modes that can be switched using the remote control which also switches inputs, controls bluetooth playback and adjusts volume. The remote control takes two AAA batteries which aren’t included. The soundbar can be wall mounted and comes with suitable screws and wall plugs as well as an optical cable and mains power supply. It has an LED indicator which indicates the audio source and can be turned off if wanted.
The sound coming from the soundbar is good and (unlike the last soundbar I got) adjusts well from low volume to loud. The sound fills the room well and makes a great improvement over the tv speakers. The variety of inputs is good and after testing them settled on HDMI ARC which allows the soundbar to be turned on and off with the tv and also the volume to be controlled from the tv remote.
Excellent TV speaker.
Packaged in a large box with very careful protection of the product.
It has a very good quality of sound.
Easy to set up with the manual attached.
It can be connected to the TV using the cable with a lot of input options or Bluetooth connected to the phone as well.
We did not need anything loud just wanted to improve the quality of sound for our TV in the bedroom.
Great product with the money spent.
I would definitely buy again if needed!
Excellent sound and design. Subwoofer is amazing for this size.
