This plug works well and it charges my items fast. A great alternative.
The previous and other brand plugs I have purchased from Amazon have broke after a short time. This plug has outlasted the rest and works just as good as the one from Apple.
In a word Excellent; A must buy. The charger has two independent QC3.0/2.0 charging ports which deliver fast charging to mobile devices that support such. 9V/2.22A yields a fast charge on my samsung galaxy tablets and the various Apple and Samsung phones I tried. It was good . I do like the fact the charger independently controls each charging port seperatetely so its not fastest rate both or slowest rate both, it can mix and match. Didnt get hot at all at the full 40W, and standby current was miniscule even over a month left on. Product page at the bottom has a good table of compatible devices this can charge. Its a nice just under 2″ square block with the USBC ports lower most when plugged in to a mains wall socket. Great value for money and very reliable. Highly recommended, Andrew

You are able to charge two devices at the same time, both recognising the fast charge/turbo charge function.
So many devices are now USB C so it makes sense to start having chargers to reflect this.
I have been thinking about purchasing a USB-C ‘brick’ for a few months. My wife and I received my newer iPhones and it came with the cable, but not the ‘brick’ needed to supply it. Of course Apple wouldn’t include that! I took the challenge; charged 2 iPads at the same time and tested it after 10 mins intervals. This thing will CHARGE must faster! USB-C 13% vs standard cable 4% on average. Just be sure to have the cable.

Does exactly what it should do. Has 2 USBC connector slots on the bottom of the plug to connect your cables to. Works perfectly. Works perfectly with my Samsung devices and charges both my phone and watch very quickly.
i recently switched to the newer iphone chargers but was a little surprised that they don’t come with the plugs.
this is a great plug and i believe it helped my phone charge a lot quicker!
best thing about it is that you can use two cables with the plug! no more fighting with my husband over a plug!

Great little plug when on the go or travelling as it allows for 2 devices to charge simultaneously without much overheating and saves carrying numerous plugs around or waiting to charge one by one. It feels as well made as a plug can! No complaints so far but if any overheating issues arise I’ll update the review.
Great fast charging duo socket. I really like that you can charge two different device at fast speeds simultaneously! It’s a good price at just over a tenner. if you’re after two fast charging USB C ports in a socket this is certainly worth considering. Good quality and price. Very happy.
I’ve never used anything by the UGKENT brand before so I wasn’t too sure what to expect in terms of quality from this.
This is a UK plug with pins that don’t fold down, so while not as nifty for travel, it’s still a fairly compact plug and it feels stable and robust.
It has two USB-C ports of 20w each. This makes each port suitable for devices like iPhones and iPads, or other such devices that work with 20w power for fast charging. Please not it’s not for classic USB input. This is the smaller USB-C connectors.
UGKENT claim the plug as overcurrent and overload protection as well as temperature control, which is what you want to hear and I trust that’s true.
The product description says you get “40W Dual USB C Charger Plug*1, Manual*1,If you have other questions, you can contact us at any time.”. However, all I got was the plug in a tight-fitting plastic bag, no manual. I don’t think you really need a manual for a plug, but I just wanted to note that as you don’t get any instructions or further info on the plug with it. As such, there’s also no email address included for you to contact the brand and I couldn’t find a website for them. If you need to contact them, I think you’d have to go via Amazon.
I contacted Amazon and asked for UGKENT’s contact details. Unfortunately they had no such details on their system. That, paired with the inability to find a website, means I can’t really see how you can contact them as the product page suggests. Amazon suggested I contact the seller to ask my question. It’s not ideal as you’d like to think a trustworthy, reliable brand with safe products would be easily contactable.
I took their suggestion and messaged the seller, but when I finally heard back from them, the reply was a few words and sadly didn’t answer my question. I wanted to know about energy use and cost with this plug. I’m not sure about the cost of using this if you haven’t got two devices plug in. Ie. If you have two cables in the USB-C ports, but only one device connected on the other end, will it use the same amount of power as two plugs, or just one? For many people, myself included, it seems more convenient at home to keep two cables in the plug and just connect a device or two as required. I’d be interested to know then about the costs as many of us are concerned with energy prices after the massive price hikes.
The plug is white and shiny, giving it that Apple-esque modern vibe. UGKENT say the exterior is “scratch-resistant and dirt-resistant, no fingerprints”. I’ve handled and used this a few times already and so far so good in terms of it not picking up smudges, fingerprints etc, while loose dirt and dust brushes off nicely. It’s lightweight, which is important for ease of use and travel. It’s simple and straightforward, with just the brand name on the front in light grey.
Annoyingly enough, I’ve got different connectors for different things. My iPhone is a regular USB, but my iPad and iPod are USB-C. I wanted a plug with two connectors to take to the hospital when I go in for another surgery soon as you can be short on plug sockets, especially if you take in a few devices. I thought this would be handy for my iPad and iPod at home and the hospital, as well as for charging my rechargeable hand warmer at home. I don’t know how it works out price-wise but as it’s the same 20w, I would imagine – and hope – it’s the equivalent energy cost as if you have two separate plugs and use both or just the one. It’d be good to have an option from UGKENT for a plug with one USB-A and one USB-C port. Of course if you want to, you could get an adapter or different cable of for any USB-A devices you want to use with this USB-A plug.
As for it’s main purpose of fast-charging, I’ve found this plug to be pretty good. After testing out the charging times, I think it’s on par with the plugs that came with my iPhone and iPad. I’ve no issues with the charging effectiveness or speed, nothing that I’ve noticed anyway.
All in all, a good choice for a USB-C plug. I’ve no issues with the plug itself, but the lack of any info on the UGKENT brand or ability to contact them is a bit disappointing and odd. Nonetheless, it’s a very handy plug to have to hand if you’ve got a few devices with USB-C connectors. It’s also sleek and lightweight, making it great for use at home or on the move.
Small lightweight charger plug. It can fast charge two devices at a time instead of the usual one which makes it very useful. We have an iPhone and a Samsung phone in our house and this charger takes both of them and only uses one plug socket.

It is getting to a point in my house where the lack of ability to charge anything is becoming a daily struggle. With all the phones, tablets, and other tech stuff, it is becoming a full-time job managing it all. When I saw this dual charging plug, I thought at the very least it could take mine and my husband’s phones out of the charging rat race, but actually found it was far more useful than that. Here’s what I thought of it.
Compatibility
The first job was working out was this plug is, and isn’t, compatible with. Luckily, it has a wide range and covered everything we had. So far so good. Here’s a reminder of everything it works with so you can see if it will work for you:

Fast charging
When I saw the claim that this could produce a faster-charging experience, I was very intrigued and put it to the test immediately on my almost-dead iPhone. After 30 minutes it was just shy of 60% charged — a marked improvement on my branded iPhone charger, which I wasn’t expecting.
Safety
Another great aspect is that built into the design, are intelligent safety features that prevent your devices from getting damaged from overheating and overloading — it does this by detecting the device and delivering the appropriate current. This is essential (painful lessons learned from past mistakes) especially if you’re using the dual charging feature with other devices.
Conclusion
Overall, this charging plug lives up to its promises. The compatibility is wide and should cover most people’s needs and the fact that me and my husband can share it is really convenient and means fewer wires getting in the way. 100% recommended.

It is is very lightweight and has a dual port, so you are able to charge two devices simultaneously. It’s a simple white plastic plug with round edges but it feels and looks well made.
Overall, five stars for its performance and high quality. Highly recommended!

Really well made plug with 2x 20W USB-C outlets, capable of power deliver good enough to fast charge phones etc. I used this to supply power to two wireless charging pads I have at the end of my sofa for charging iPhone 13 Pro and 14 Pro phones, and it worked perfectly.
The price is reasonable I think for this quality product that can fast charge 2 devices at the same time. There are many dual outlet plugs I’ve seen/reviewed which can only fast charge 1 device at a time, but this can do 2, which is great.
I like the small indents on each side of the plug too, it makes removing the plug much easier as you can grip it well. I recommend checking this out if you’re looking for a quality fast charging plug.

I stupidly read the description of this plug and thought it would suit all usb items. I was wrong!! Totally my mistake but I cannot give a fair review as I have not got anything for it to charge. I am sure it will work fine but I will see if I can find someone else to try it out for me and update my review.
