Arrived in plenty of time for Christmas.
Great for keeping hands warm when working from home in a chilly house using keyboard and phone.

These mitts are warm and fuzzy. I plug them in to my laptop at work and they keep me warm. There are lots of wires everywhere that I have to maneuver around. They also don’t have a timer, they stay on until you unplug them

I sew, so I can move the part that goes over the fingers to make one of the lefts into a right. They get pretty warm and I’m happy with that. You can keep your hands warm away from a usb plug with a small charging bank but the cord isn’t that long– so it’s more for just sitting in the bleachers with limited movement. My first thought was they looked like I ordered brillo pads—but they don’t feel that way! They are soft and super super fuzzy. They are not adjustable temperature wise and they are only warm when they are plugged in. My office gets super super cold in the winter and I can’t put the heated blanket on my hands while I type and the thermostat is in my bosses office which is affected by her space heater (she is a very very very chilly person and has that thing on from fall to spring) so we freeze out here! So glad I have these!

    * Size is a little small for average Male hands (8.75″ circumference)
    * Gentle low heat, the warming is noticeable while not being too hot
    * Clever design so you can type or read while warming your hands
    * Needs a better way of folding the mitten part back

I work from home half the time and do so from my unheated basement. In the winter it can get cold (high 50’s) and trust me, your fingers stiffen up considerably and it makes typing difficult. I have a heater under my desk I’ll kick on sometimes but it’s a lot of energy.

I got these mittens to use exclusively while typing. They’re a little tight for my average sized male hands. My hand measured around the knuckles like you do for gloves is 8.75″. The tightness is around the base of the fingers where they meet the hand. It makes it hard to type since it’s like a resistance band around your fingers. I’m typing with them right now and making slightly more typos than normal because of that. If I push them back behind my knuckles it helps a lot.

The USB-A cable is about 50″ long to the connector that plugs into the gloves. It’s a Y cable about 6 inches from the plugs. You can widen the Y cable split by pulling on it and the wires peel apart. There is no way to undo that though so think twice before widening it. I widened it about 8″ so I could reach for the mouse easier. The cable length is enough if you have a power outlet close to your desk. Both mittens detach from the power cord if you need to get up and move around without taking them off.

I measured the power draw with a usb multimeter at 5.1v and .57A. That’s about 3 watts of power. You could run these off any usb battery bank and most computer usb ports.

I was unhappy with the method for securing the mitten part back. It’s a little tiny black elastic loop that is immediately lost in the black fuzzy fabric the glove is made of. Even if you do find it you have to put it around a button. Making this two magnets would have been much better. I use them only at my computer so I don’t flip them back and forth ever. It would be frustrating if you did though.

Gentle warmth, love the fingerless capability. Great for typing. Not for big hands.
