Good value… easy to use… works as advertised. If I had one complaint is that the form factor has cables on the front. In some use-cases this is ideal.. for mine it adds a little to cable clutter. Overall very happy with it.

I got this to swap between my headset between computer and my work phone and it has been a seamless transition. It does come with 2 USB male to male cables, so you don’t need to buy any extra ones like I did, and they’re pretty long. All in all, quite pleased!

Power remains on to port NOT in use.

This switch is well built, easy to use, and comes with two USB-A/A cables. But, it has three issues that I don’t like. I’m using the single connection to my PC, and the other two for a camera and a small USB light.

1: The port that is “off” still has power! The USB light is fully lit when that port is “off”. The “off” port has enough power to charge my cell phone. That is bad. I wanted that power to be completely off so my LED USB light would go out instead of remaining at full brightness.

2: The box says “Lifetime warranty without any hassle.” The sheet inside the box says “We provide one-year warranty for this usb 3.0 switch”.

3: The box says “Professional and friendly customer service within 24 hours”. I would assume there would be a phone number, email address, or website in the box. Nope. The sheet in the box says to use Amazon’s buyer-seller feature for any issues.

Not having a network printer, this device allowed me to share a printer with a laptop and desktop. Everything is supplied in general and it’s very compact, but also light. The lack of weight is a handicap and a provision should made to limit its movement. Also, better labeling. Both issues solved with Velcro and a label-maker. In my case, also needed a printer cable. Recommend it – no drivers needed, of course.

Need a switch to allow me to change from a scanner to a label printer attached so they could share a common USB port on the back of the computer. Installation was very easy and a simple button makes the switch between devices. Don’t need to shut down to make the switch, just log back in to machine to load driver for device to be used.

This works great! I installed a USB hub with three ports and a LAN cable on the back end with a mouse, keyboard, and USB mic connected to the three ports of the hub. The device comes with 2 USB high speed cables so I plugged the hub into the back end and plugged the two cables into each computer. Presto! Instant LAN and desktop capability to either laptop with a tap of a button.

I have a laptop and a gaming PC where I had to connect/disconnect all the time. For the gaming desktop PC I had to connect on the back. Now with this I have it connected all the time to the PC and a dedicated cable for the laptop and whenever I want to change I just click the button. It feels very well built. I love it.

Very happy with this purchase! You can even attach a hub of USB ports to both the input and output ports, so don’t worry that it only has three ports. It has been working fine now for two months. In contrast, the UGREEN USB Switch Selector I bought stopped working after four weeks and I had to toss it.

Similar to a KVM Switch setup only no AV ports, strictly for USB only switching option. Very easily setup and put in use. The directions included are very clear. You have the main input and 2 outputs to the machines or unit(s) this will be used with. Used to switch quickly between systems tied to an ergo keyboard for quick data entry and updates between systems. May be use in any manner where a switch may be needed to jump between two devices.

This is a well made and apparently good quality switch and it’s useful if you have a need for USB switching, however it is a bit misleading to describe it as a KVM as it doesn’t have video!

It’s reversible, so you can connect one USB output to two computers (that out put can take a USB hub so that more than one device is avaliable) and the device(s) will be available to one computer or the other at any time, this is how you would use it, for example to use one keyboard and mouse for two computers or if you wanted to use an external drive as a swap drive between two machines. Alternately the single port side can face the computer to switch between two USB peripherals, this seems less likely to be of use to most people as USB hubs are easily available and USB conflicts very rare, but there are circumstances when you might not want two devices connected at the same time, for example a stylus tablet & a mouse as they might send conflicting instructions.

This switch is nicely designed, feels like a quality components and comes with two USB male to male cables so you can use it in either configuration straight out the box.

This is a very well made product, measuring approximately 52mm x 50mm x 14mm, and the overall quality of its finish is very good.

Being bi-directional makes it very flexible, and it is a welcome addition to my computer accessories.

Its price seems reasonable for what it does, but I think it might be an even more attractive buy without the supplied cables. But perhaps not many people have as many spare cables as I do.

My set up has been the same for quite a while in the games room, and even though a USB switch isn’t anything new to me, I’ve just never bothered with one until now. And I feel foolish for not just getting 1 sooner.

As it was before this switch arrived, I had my laptop and PlayStation hooked up to the same TV, and also the same USB devices. The amplifier takes care of HDMI switching no problem, but it has nothing to do with the USB stuff, and so I’d have to reach into the cabinet each time I wanted to use the other system. It’s not the most ideal way to do it.

Now, I’ve got the USB switch hooked up to a USB Hub, with all my devices connected to that. Depending on which system I want to use, I just have to press 1 button on the switch, and all the devices connected to that hub will connect to the other device. The switch over happens instantly, and the devices start working just as quickly as they would as if I had plugged them in directly.

The device also works the other way, where instead of having two computers that can be swapped back and forward to access a USB device, you can have it so that you could have multiple USB devices could be given access to 1 PC. For example, you could plug in a storage device into each port, and give the PC access to only one of them at a time by switching to the one you want to use.

I tested the hub connected to multiple different devices and device types, but it doesn’t seem to matter what you’re using, it works. I had it connected to my phone on the single port, with a PC on the other end alongside a USB flash drive. One minute the phone is in charge, asking what I want to do with the flash drive, then I press the button, and the PC takes over and wants to know what I want to do with my phone. The best devices are the ones that just work, and this is that, so I’m very happy with it. The build quality is also great, it has a metal body surrounding its two plastics ends, so I imagine it’s relatively durable too.

If you have a set up that could use a switch and you’ve just been putting it off like I did, just do it. Pick one of these up, tidy up your system and save yourself the hassle of having to change cables each day.

Fast delivery, very well packaged in its own box with instruction manual.

Product with metal construction, the two inputs are USB 3.0 which allows a higher transfer speed fingers.
The cable that comes with the product has a good length that allows you to better adapt the place that will leave the switch without having the cable stretched or forced.
It has a single button for switching between inputs.

Easy to use, lightweight, minimalist and reasonably priced.

Ordered this item as I wanted an easy way for it to sit on the edge of my desk and be able to switch between the connected pcs and this works great. Item is aesthetically pleasing in a nice carbon colour, when pressing the button to switch, there is a noticeable click so that you know that you’ve swapped from one to the other.

    I would recommend this item.

I bought this USB switch so I am able to switch between using the trackball and spinner on my arcade control panel. I designed and printed a mount for it so the button is accessible from the rear of the panel. It works perfectly. There is a slight delay when switching, but it’s very minor and doesn’t cause any issues in this scenario. This allows both devices to be mapped as player 1 mouse 0 and not have to configure each game individually. I haven’t found a situation where I need both the trackball and spinner to be active simultaneously, so this is a great solution for me.

I recently installed a Reolink NVR and security camera system. Our old analog system allowed us to use two computer mice to control the NVR. I could not get two computer mice to work with the NVR and the Reolink support team confirmed that it is not possible. They said they would send a suggestion to their design team. Now, it was time to look for an alternate solution!

In our home office, my wife and I each have a 4K monitor connected to the NVR which is located in a control room closet. In order to use two wireless mice, I purchased the Viagkiki KVM Bi-Directional USB 3.0 Switch and used a 10 meter (32.8 foot) USB cable to connect it to the NVR.

I have plugged in a USB wireless receiver for each mouse. No external power is needed for the switch and a blue indicator light shows which of the two ports (mice) is connected.

I generally leave it so my wife’s mouse is connected. If I need to use the mouse at my workstation to change NVR settings, I just reach over and press the switch.

Not complicated – it works well – either 2 in 1 out or 1 in and 2 different out possibilities.

Both outs cannot be used at the same time – you switch to one or the other.

Best thing about this switch is that it’s USB 3.0 – so it has fast bandwidth.

    The price is reasonable too.

    HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! AAA+++

Normally there is one cable going from one device to the other. But when connecting 1 device to two devices, then are two cables missing. This set solves this to some amount, 2 cables added. But the cables are short, so it may need still more cables depending on how far the devices are apart. Its just a switch, connecting one of the two to the one on the the other side, or the other way round. Only 1 in to 1 out is connected, not one to 2 out the same time (no Y split).

Golden Review Award: 3 From Our UsersI own an ASTRO A50 wireless gaming headset that connects via USB. I mostly game on PC, but occasionally will hop onto the Xbox Series X as well. I hated having to always unplug my headset base from whatever system I was using to the other, and this completely fixed my dilemma!

Now I just have one of the included cables USB cables connected to each system, which in turn connect to the USB splitter. And the single cable from the splitter to the headset dock. I can quickly swap between PC and Xbox with a click of a button and not have to untangle a bunch of wires trying to find out which cable is the USB cable I was needing to swap.

This device is perfect for my particular needs. The USB transfers both game and chat audio just fine without any noticeable difference in quality, and the docking station has no issues charging my headset regardless of which switch it’s on.

This device comes with 2 special USB Type-A to Type-A cables in order for it to properly connect to the device and the splitter. If I had to list my biggest pet peeve it would be that the USB doesn’t visually appear to plug in completely on any of the 3 ports. Doesn’t cause an issue that I’ve noticed so far, but it causes me to double check that the cables are fully inserted; but this is a minor issue that I wouldn’t dock a star rating for.

I have struggled to print and connect my Macbook to my printer and other accessories for a while due to the USBC port. However, this USB Switch has made my life so much easier. I can connect both my mouse and printer at the same time to one USBC port. It is easy, compact so it fits in my laptop bag. The price point is reasonable and to be able to use all my accessories again, it has made life easier. Worth the investment.

This USB Switch is very good. It is well made and looks and feels very modern and high-quality. It is USB 3.0 which means you get fairly good speeds however I mainly use it for peripherals such as a keyboard and mouse which means I don’t really need the full speed.

The switch is bidirectional which is very nice. This means that you can use it in 2 ways. Firstly, you can connect it to one computer then connect 2 different USB devices and switch between them using the button on top, this is useful if you don’t have enough USB ports or want a certain device to disconnect when you connect another.
Secondly, you can set it up like I have where you connect one USB device and then switch it between 2 devices. I have 2 PCs and one mouse connected to this switch, when I want to change PCs, I just press the button and my mouse switches to the other PC.

Overall, this works very well and feels good-quality. I would highly recommend.

This is a basic USB switch and the fact that it’s really useful basically sells it to me. I’m using this for my thermal printer which I have to share between my desktop computer and laptop. Normally, the printer is permanently plugged into my desktop using a USB-B to USB-A lead, but sometimes I need to print directly from my laptop and I don’t want to have to go through the rigmarole of waiting for the desktop to load up, which takes ages, and then be able to access the printer via the ‘sharing’ method, which I do have set up. I find it quicker to just climb round the back of the desktop, which is based under the desk, pull the printer lead out and plug it straight into my laptop. Both methods are just too time consuming and a lot of messing around. Now this is where the USB switch comes into play!

The switch comes very well packaged and presented, it’s neatly packed inside and out of the box you will get 2 x USB-A 3.0 cables, the switch and some instructions plus some stickers which I presume are for kids?

The quality of the build is extremely good, the outer casing is made from metal, we have some shiny chrome effect on the edges, 2 USB ports one side and one the other, the top has a push button switch to select either of the two USB ports with 2 blue numbered LED’s to confirm which port is active.

The USB cables are about 0.6m long and are USB 3.0 standard, the cables and switch can move data around up to 5Gbps, they’re also backward compatible with lower standard USB devices.

So, I’ve plugged the printer cable into the single USB port, I’ve got the two USB cables plugged in, one is connected to the desktop permanently and the other is left loose, ready for when I need to connect my laptop to use the printer. A simple, straight forward method and the switch works perfectly with this set up I have.

The cool thing about this switch is that it can be reversed and I could connect two printers to it and the single USB port would be connected to the desktop allowing me to just switch printers at a press of a button, I could even share a keyboard between 2 computers, the list is endless and further makes this USB switch totally useful.

The fact that this is USB 3.0 standard means one could even connect an external hard drive to share between computers.

Recommended, I wouldn’t be without it now!

Sometimes you just don’t have enough USB ports, do you need to share a device or negate the need for constant plugging/unplugging? Then read on…………..

Unlike a few years ago we are no longer restricted by an imposed lack of included ports on our computer or tv/monitor, It’s easier than ever nowadays to add additional ports or share/switch them between our computer via this USB switch box or to our tv/ monitor via an HDMI switch box.

This is a great little USB switch box, it’s relatively small in size, made of aluminum and has an indicator to indicate which port is currently in use. It looks great, comes boxed and is discrete enough to hide behind your tv or monitor if you don’t wish to notice it.

But best of all it just works, flawlessly.

    2 in 1 out

Most people will utilise this as a USB switch, where the aim will be to connect two computers and share one devices functionality, again negating the need to plug/unplug USB devices. This is particularly useful for sharing a printer etc.

    1 in 2 out

This can also be used as an USB splitter, where the aim will be to connect 2 USB devices and switch between them, thus negating the need for either an additional USB port on your computer or to constantly plug/unplug USB devices into it. Note however only one USB device can be used at a time.

I tested both the above methods and both worked flawlessly, this is a quality switch box at it’s current price point, a five star product and one that comes absolutely…..

Recently I reviewed an HDMI switcher that was also 1 in 2 out, or 2 in 1 out, it was almost half the cost of this USB 3.0 switcher. I am using this USB switcher to share a keyboard between one of our PC’s and our Raspberry Pi’s. The switch is positive when pressed; moving a blue LED indicator to show which device is connecting to our keyboard. The switch is supplied with two USB 3.0 types A male to male cables, so perhaps this is accounts for some of the cost.

The switch is well presented and well packaged; it seems to be of metal construction, so it will be robust.

If I decide, I want to also share a USB mouse between 2 devices, then I would definitely consider this USB 3.0, despite the price, it is a quality item.

Seems expensive when compared to a similar HDMI switcher, it is well made quality switche
